I love Jernabi! Whether I'm stopping in to grab a maple latte, need some yogurt and granola for a quick breakfast, or want to sit with a friend for good talk over a cup of coffee. They answer questions with the kind of exuberance that, in itself says, " I want to help you enjoy your experience here." I had a meeting with 4 other gentlemen. We talked in normal tones for there was no noise to make it hard to hear. The products are very delicious. Home made pastries at an excellent price, that will surprise you as it did me. One of a very few coffee shops in North county NY with exceptional coffee. I would like to say that I am a coffee fantatic (not quite snobby) and this is my go to stop when in Potsdam. It helps they are a local coffee roaster with a great fresh roasted product. Can wait for my next cup.

This is the best coffee shop in all of Potsdam, and likely the surrounding area. I always enjoy stopping in for a glass mug of coffee or one of their espresso based beverages. It's a small shop, but never cramped or crowded. The baristas have always been friendly and talkative, as well as skilled. Music and atmosphere are just how a coffee shop should be. The shop also sells excellent, locally roasted coffee beans. The blends are varied and unique, and the resealable vacuum bag they're sold in is great. Highly recommended for the local coffee enthusiast.

Jernabi has a lovely owner and staff, amazing coffee, and a relaxing atmosphere. I spent many hours at their large tables as a student. The drinks menu is varied and has specials regularly, so there's always something new to try. The beans are roasted nearby and are available whole-bean. The baked goods are fabulous. One of the perks is that they are usually open in when the weather is bad and update their facebook regularly.

Fabulous environment, great coffee, talkative and super friendly baristas. If you come to study bring some head phones just in case but usually the volume is overall low. If you're looking to try a new drink I'd also recommend a dirty Chai hot or iced!

Wish I'd had more time to spend here; the Americano was excellent, and I bought one of their mugs. They seem to have a decent menu of breakfast and snack items, plus great coffee, and plenty of room for someone like me (in a wheelchair) to get around. Parking is iffy, but it's worth figuring out!

This is my favorite place ever. The batistas are all always wonderful and sweet, I loved getting to know them, sad to see them go when they do but happy for them! This place was one of the biggest factors in me deciding to move back here and I tell everyone I can about it. I am so greatful for this place and all of the staff I've met over the last 6 years. I've come for morning coffee after work, been on dates here, gone to sit by myself for hours and it's the best, the best atmosphere the best coffee, the best everything! Thank you Jernabi! I like Jernabi’s a lot. It’s changed quite a lot over the years, though it’s still a nice little cafe. It’s always been a chill place to go to. It definitely attracts eco-friendly people, liberals and leftists more. It’s had a decently hip vibe for a long time. The owner has always tried to support good causes, as you can see from the stickers on the door. The coffee is great: real coffee, not the super artificial stuff from the big corporations. A worker there is literally one of the sweetest, cutest and best Baristas there is in Potsdam 😍😁😇. I hope Jernabi’s stays in business for a long time! It contributes to the local community in a positive way 🙏🏽😇. Live long and prosper 🖖🏽

A great coffee shop to come and get some work done. I am from out of town and this one place I stop when I have some time to kill. There are a great deal of outlets so you should be able to find a place to plug in your laptop. Great smoothies and hot chocolate! Also, they sell t-shirts, french presses, whole bean coffees and a few other things too.

I go to school at Paul Smith’s College, so on my to and from school I always stop here…Jernabi has the best chai lattes I’ve ever had in my life. I love stopping here! The staff are always wonderful, the vibes are great, and the drinks are amazing!

Stopped here while I was in the area. Was hoping to get a breakfast sandwich, but they only make them on the weekends. I got an awesome cinnamon roll instead and a hot chocolate. Thoroughly enjoyed both. I got them to go, but the inside was super cute. It would be a great spot to dine-in as well. They also had some outdoor seating as well. The staff were really friendly.

A spacious place for a relaxing time with friends over great coffee. There are two rooms. I wish the backroom was set up with couches and comfy chairs, a rug, dimmer lights, and good coffeeshop music. Keep the great coffee and then this place would be a 5 star coffeehouse!

I love the milk flight! Definitely my favorite thing to get. I also like the seasonal drinks and their caramel macchiato. The baristas can sometimes come off standoffish. The atmosphere is good. Parking can suck since it's only street parking on a busy street or in the back with only a few spots.

Best coffee in Canton-Potsdam area! Staff is extremely friendly and the interior design is modern. The prices are on the higher side but if coffee is an important piece of your daily life, in this area with coffee…you get what you pay for. So if you want a good cup of coffee, this is the place to go.

The environment, drinks and baked goods are great BUT the man working the counter had the most awful body odor today. It’s the last thing you want to encounter when you’re about to eat and they’re handling your food. Not trying to be nasty but I wish the baristas would be focused less on preferred pronouns and more on bathing, as others have a disheveled appearance too. Another star off for taking baked goods off the counter with 45 minutes still left until closing. You’re still open!
