Food is as fire and hot when I ate inside!

The food and service was excellent! On Wednesday (1/24/2024) around 6:50AM, I came to the drive thru and ordered two boxes of the dozen breakfast tacos (TC’s Way). They had my order ready quickly and even provided me a cup of salsa. I was also very appreciative of the employee at the drive thru who kindly informed me that in the future it’s always a good idea to call ahead when ordering the breakfast taco box(es) just to make sure they are prepared and will have them ready for you.

There is a location closer to where I live but this locations customer service and attention to detail blows the others out of the water. Twice now, Paul the night manager has gone over and beyond. I have explained I am allergic to cheese and both times he checked the meals himself to make sure there was no cheese. The first time he even put it together himself to make sure it was right. Not one other taco cabana I have ever been to gets my order right and Paul went over and beyond and it meant to much. Totally worth the 20 min drive! 😊

This is basically better Mexican fast food. The food is consistently good. The service is friendly and reasonably fast. I love their breakfast tacos. They have a clean dining area and restrooms. Their prices are modest and they have a very generous seniors discount. This place is not fancy but they are a very nice place to get a bite to eat.

@tacocabana, my order took over an hour at about noon today, but I want to say, all the folks that were working deserve a raise. They had 4 total people working, they were dealing with a non-stop flow of customer frustration, and frankly a lot of rudeness, and they handled it with nothing but grace and hard work. I had to wait for my food, but I want to say thank you to the TC team that was working hard! Taco Cabana give these 4 a raise!

Fast service, ordered on app,walked in order was ready and staff was friendly. Also restaurant was very clean.

Asked for a double crunch pizza,no sauces,or pico, but add enchilada sauce to it. Can't do that,can't RING it up they said. 1 little spoon full of enchilada sauce CAN NOT BE PUT ON YOUR DOUBLE CRUNCH PIZZA. What happened to customer service, was willing to pay for the spoon full too. The cashier was friendly tho. BTW I've tried 2 location now

Taco cabana on Walton Way in Cedar Park Texas is an awesome Mexican restaurant. The food is always delicious and the price is right and the atmosphere is good and the place is clean. I especially enjoy a favorite Employee by the name of BLAKE Haynes, who always greets me with a smile and just gives out outstanding customer service. He should be praised for a great job as I am a regular and very satisfied customer. Highly recommend this restaurant ..

I love the breakfast tacos and Taco Cabana. The tortillas are soft and yummy! I only get bacon and potatoes in mine but there is always a good amount to make the tacos full and filling.

This was my first visit to a Taco Cabana so I wasn't sure what to expect but overall it was a good experience. The food was very good and the prices made my day. The thing that stood out was the customer service. Good customer service is very rare these days so I was surprised at the exceptional customer service that I received. Shout out to Robert! Ordered breakfast taco boxes for my kid’s class party. Good food, easy pickup. Only suggestion is that the tacos with cheese added need a cheese sticker. We thought one box had all the tacos with cheese added but the cheese added tacos were actually mixed between the 2 boxes. Food and service are good when we eat here.

I’ve always loved TC. I wish it was like before Covid. There were days I would walk in and there would be movies or football on the TVs. Beer in the troughs when you walked in & it was always super busy. It’s just a quiet somber place now. I love the tacos on Friday mornings though! I love the new ranch salsa!

We recently ordered 55 meals for the Rouse High School Band, and I can’t say enough good things about this location! I accidentally messed up part of the order, and they fixed it within minutes—no questions asked! The owner was incredibly kind, helpful, and so attentive to detail. She made sure every single meal was correct and ready right on time. It’s rare to find that level of customer service these days, but Taco Cabana on Walton Way truly went above and beyond. I bought a shredded chicken taco; it was filled well in one of their house made incredible tortillas. The chicken was well shredded and seasoned. There were diced tomatoes cooked with it. I found that a lot fell out, so if I had another fabulous tortilla, I could have had another taco! I had a good conversation with the employee at the register.  He was very friendly. I will be back!

Great little place with great food and good portion sizes for the prices. A little salsa bar with some toppings if you choose to eat in. It was close to the end of the night for dineing in so it was quiet inside but it was nice. They also serve alcohol and offer $3 margaritas all day on mondays which is pretty cool. Great staff!

This restaurant continues to do what it's always done. Good food, but it's still a fast food restaurant. Excellent when you've had those late night out with friends.

I love their genuine TexMex, for fast food. They make fresh tortillas. I always pick up a dozen to keep in the freezer for when I want to make breakfast tacos at home. They’re really delicious. Their charred/roasted salsa is so flavorful and delicious!

I usually go closer to closing for dinner, and I am usually there to pick up food to bring home. My kiddos love the tacos from here as well as the chips and queso. The staff at the drive-thru is always very friendly and chatty.

Well first of all it's Taco Cabana. We went to specifically try the new Mexican pizza. I think it beats taco bell. The chipotle sauce is great on it and it comes with sour cream. Service was rated low because you could tell several of the staff were not happy working today or at all. The place was clean & the food was good & HOT! Both of those matter a lot to me.

Brisket melt taco was not worth $5 no very big or full with meat.. thought it would be fuller..

I have been 3 times in the last week around 8 am, and the same girl working the window was rude and would not just close the window but slam it while you are talking to her. One of my bags the salsa top cam off, and she put in a new bag and again put in salsa with the lid not on, so my lap was wet from the bag.

I came here for good cheap breakfast tacos and thats what I got. The tacos were nothing fancy. The tortillas were very good. I played a game called tortilla slap in the park with their tortillas, I had a slight miscommunication with a person at the park. Long story short I thought they were asking to play with me so I took the warm tortilla and hit the person across the face. I have to go to court soon. Very good tortillas!

They have a lot of problems with their drive through. The woman who was there this last time was rude. No greeting. She gave me 1 of my 3 drinks and seemed annoyed that I asked for the others. My daughter ordered an apple juice, she gave us an orange juice I had to change. I asked for an unsweet tea, 2 times, and got a sweet tea. I asked for 2 straws and was only given one. And they never give napkins!

Probably the worst experience at this restaurant ever! Ordered nachos with bean and cheese. It came in a small bowl, like 14 chips and a tablespoon of beans. When I asked the assistant manager, he just shrugged and did nothing. I called corporate, likely won't matter. So I was still hungry and ordered sopapillas. They were tiny, the size of a ravioli, cold and hard. Horrible.****** Update to review. The area manager contacted me and offered some coupons for use in the stores. So I give them a star for follow up.

Good quick food but slow service. Went in and the crew was talking amongst theirselves. Prepping the food areas and cleaning the grill. Nobody was on the front to welcome customers or take their orders. This was about 11am so they were not busy, only 6 other customers. Waited about 10 minutes till we got someone's attention. Not sure if this is a taco cabana practice as the one on 183 and 360 always slow also. The one at 183 near Anderson mill is usually pretty quick. If it were my store; I'd make a policy of greeting every customer as soon as you walk in. Many food businesses are doing that and it just sets a tone of "we want you here we would like to serve you."

For a fast food joint, Taco Cabana is unique in that the food is mostly scratch-made, and alcohol is served there. The food is really delicious IF it happens to be fresh. The reason it doesn't get 5 stars is that it's so inconsistent. Sometimes the food looks and tastes like it's been sitting awhile. The service is inconsistent, too. Sometimes in the drive thru they'll ask you to go park and they won't bring the food out for 15 minutes. Even they way the food is prepared is inconsistent. Sometimes your tacos will have lettuce and tomatoes, other times they won't. And 99% of the time they leave something off the order. Some mornings I stop for breakfast tacos. My usual order is chorizo/potato/cheese taco, and a bean/cheese taco. Of all the places I can get chorizo from, I prefer TC’s the most. But, over the last two weeks, I’ve noticed a very different taste in the chorizo. It tasted almost as if the meat had gone bad. Tried it 3 times over a two week period and all 3 times it was absolutely terrible and I had to spit it out. I told the staff one morning and they informed me that they were going to dispose of that cooked batch and open a new one, but the next day it had the same terrible taste. I don’t know if there was something wrong with the meat, or if the vendor supplying it had changed something up, but I don’t think I will be back for any more chorizo breakfast tacos.

I been going for a while since as a kid, would get 3 tacos with chips and cheese, also a large drink for $10, Now u only get 2 tacos, smaller drink and chips that aren't fresh been sitting out in the open. You have to bend a arm to get corn Tortillas and they now microwave them if they feel like they don't like you. Big shame 😔. It's all corporate fault.

TL;DR Use the app to order in advance It was a sad place. Empty restaurant with 12 people in line at 1:30 pm. Took 25 min to just get to the register to place our lunch order. Food arrived fast and was decent.

Service was less than stellar. The manager took our order and he had the personality of a doorstop. Took our money and walked away. Order was pretty simple and it took over 15 minutes to be delivered as we dined in. Food was tasty and the portions were acceptable. We don't come here very often and experiences like this tell us why.

I went here for their to-go happy hour margaritas. Great prices and easy to take home and enjoy.

We ordered a steak quesadilla today which was about almost 9 dollars after tax and everything and this is what we got extremely disappointing. The management needs to do better train your staff better and stop ripping people off.

My wife and I went for lunch. The food is decent, floor and tsbles need a little cleaning. Service ws slow, took 20 minutes to get quesadilla and order of tacos. Salsa bar was closed which was a taco cabana tradition. Miss the taco cabana from before....good food, better service, cleaner and, of course, salsa bar.

Arrived about 6 pm in drive thru. Only cheese enchiladas…ok I ordered steak fajitas. The service was fast I’ll give them that. The steak was tender but barely warm. The rice was dry and clumped together. The refried beans had no beans just a soupy mess. All the food was barely warm and no salsa.what a waste of money. Won’t be going back.

Our food was correct but we placed a curbside order and when we arrived, the phone rang probably 10-15 times before someone answered, said hello, and then hung up. I called back and no one answered. We tried going through the drive thru to tell them we were there and they said our order wasn’t ready and to go park and wait for them to bring it out. We waited 15+ minutes and no one brought our food. I finally went inside to ask for it and it was already ready, just sitting on the mobile pickup section. No explanation as to why it was never brought out like they said it would be, and I guess we could have just waited who knows how long before someone came. Just overall disinterested service, and it was around 2:30, so not a rush or busy time.

Only vehicle in drive thru for seven minutes. Watched employees standing laughing and joking around. I waved through the window to let em know I was there. They waived back and laughed. I drove off without food. Will never go there again.

Just wanted sides for dinner . The rice was very bland and crunchy. There were small partial pieces of beans that were very hard and crunchy. Queso was more liquidity than average. Thankfully the tortillas were good. Sadly this has happened the last few times we've gone were the food is subpar. Just like the KFC across the street, seems this locations days are numbered.

The food is not quality grade. I ordered a taco salad. I got a bowl with maybe a 1/2 cup of iceberg lettuce, about five tortilla strips(not the fried taco shell that held my salad and chunks of what was supposed to chicken, NOT! Too pricey for me and my husband, $29.18.

Went through the drive through and ordered 2 steak fajita cabana bowls and quesadilla-the cabana bowls were ok until I bit a piece of the fried shell they come in-it was fried in rancid grease-so gross, can’t get the nasty taste out of my mouth 🤮

I dont know why I keep giving this place the benefit of the doubt! Taco cabana off 183 off Anderson lane should be closed down! Im sorry the staff acts like they hate their jobs and the customers too! The beef fajitas are getting tougher and smaller on the amount but big on the price!! Everytime you go to this particular one they are out of everything!! And dont ask for your money back!! They will really get fighting mad. The restrooms are always gross and the tables are never clean!!

I went here around dinner time and ordered a shredded chicken taco. There was more lettuce and cheese on the taco than there was Shredded chicken, overall the taco was not good so they went in the trash. I live about 20 mins away or else I would’ve gotten my refund. I Would not go back.

I visited this place with my family. We do enjoy the food however the service is terrible.It took over 30 minutes to get our lunch. No since of urgency what so ever. The condiments bar was missing sauces. Not to mention tables were not clean. It would be great if they get this restaurant more organized and well managed.

I have have not eaten here in a while and thought I would get some food for lunch. I placed at order for delivery and they decided on there own that I only needed one each of the sauces that I ordered instead of 2. Why have the option to add sauce if you are not going to give what's ordered and give what you decide I need. It's not like I ordered that many for nanchos and 3 tacos. Also when I got the nanchos the chips were soggy. That will be the last time I go there.

I ordered a traditional dozen breakfast taco box. When I get to the window they tell me they ran out of one of the flavors and asked if I was ok with substitutions. I said ok. I handed over my card along with a $5 off coupon I got in the mail. The cashier ran my card and handed me back my card, coupon, and receipt. Told me to save it for next time.. I also realized later on that I was charged a higher amount than shown on their menu. All around messy.

Consistently bad service at this location. Today was exceptionally bad. It took twenty minutes for me to get to the drive through window and then I waited even longer for two employees to argue over a side of chips and queso for another customer. Then when I get to my office I find that there's no fork to eat with so I had to, literally, eat the rice with my fingers. Nice job, guys! Smh.

Bought the chicken taquito 3 tiny ones at that. The attendant failed to offer salsa or cheese sauce as pictured on the menu board when ordering. Called Melonie who listened and did not offer a resolution to my complaint. Not returning to a place that does not put it's customers first.

Food quality has gone down over the years. And you pay way to much for way to little food and slow service. Orders correct like mabye %75 of the time witch is very inconvenient and frustrating.

Used to love getting their 3 pack of crispy beef tacos. Did the menu completely change? the meat in the tacos tasted completely different the last time I went, it tasted cheap and disgusting, the chips were thick and completely different than the delicious thin chips they used to have. It feels like the whole menu got changed. way to ruin what used to be a step up from taco bell, now i even prefer the dollar tacos at taco bell compared to this new garbage.

Today I waited almost 30 minutes before I gave up and demanded a refund! The person that was supposed to be making my tacos... the manager... was scrubbing and mopping the floors around the drink and salsa bar! Expecting people to walk through the massive puddles to get their condiments and drinks! This is the second time in a week that I have tried to eat here and it is definitely the last! I also witnessed the lady making tacos for the drive through clean the counters and touch her hair and.... wipe her nose without changing her gloves! USE THE DRIVE THROUGH IF YOU ARE BRAVE ENOUGH!

The food is normally ok, not the best not the worst. But, tonight I bit into a churro and it was covered in salt. The taste was absolutely offensive, I’m pretty sure with that amount of sodium it would have killed if eaten. Don’t even bother going here, the staff doesn’t pick up the phone… or for that matter pay attention to how they “cook”.

Just ordered from here about 20 minutes ago in the drive-thru. I ordered a 3-plate shredded chicken enchilada with green sauce. What I got were two cheese enchiladas with some brown sauce. Also I asked my boyfriend for the receipt and he said they never gave him one, and I know they never asked him if he wanted one as well.

This location is horrible, I should have learned my lesson by now, they ALWAYS screw up my order! Check or order or better don’t waste your money here.

Super slow service. After waiting over 20 minutes for 4 breakfast tacos we asked about our order. The young girl was arguing that she gave us our order. She also handles the food with the same gloves as she picks up the plastic numbers from the tables. Gross! Very sanitary. Got our refund and left. Never going back. Enjoy your germs.

How does this place stay open? I had an order. There were at least 7 employees and mine was the only order. Took 20 minutes and was ordered ahead of time. Ridiculous. Everyone working the shift looked like they were in lala land. No leadership or direction. Overall an incredibly poor experience and now I know why there are never any customers at the store. If corporate reads this you all need to do a complete overhaul of this location.

The lady supposed to be one of the managers treated our family with an unwelcome attitude. We requested dine-in, but an employee brought our meal in to-go boxes. The foods were unfresh, so we did not enjoy our weekend night out. We’ll never go back to this Taco Cabana again because the service and foods were awful. Thank you for referencing this feedback.

Extremely frustrating experience. It was 930 am and I wanted breakfast tacos. The drive thru was packed, so we went inside. Apparently you aren't allowed to eat inside until 11am since the don't open until then...despite the fact that they are in fact open and serving food... So while this was annoying, I accepted this. While we were ordering, gal was kind if paying attention and then answered the phone while we were ordering. We had to repeatedly order our food because she wasn't paying attention. After being asked for a third time, we just walked out.

Horrible customer service. If sweeping the floor around people eating is OK with you, you will love this place? Might want to check your food before you eat it as that airborne dust, hair, and anything else off the floor will most likely end up on it. It is one of the worst places by far in the Cedar Park area. And please don't reply with some worthless comment from the owner because if you cared you would change. Reviews say it all and I wish I would have read these before eating here.

The prices have gone way up and the quantity and quality of the food has gone way down.

Worst food ever! We 1st ordered through door dash and the receipt on the bag had the correct order but the food in the bag was all wrong . We then drove to the store to order correct food and the enchiladas were cold, the chalupa shells were burnt and the chips were stale. We ended up throwing $50 of food away it all tasted bad. Never will we eat at this location again. Very disappointing!

Don’t offer curbside pickup if you’re not going to honor curbside pickup.

To start, we were missing ½ our order. Got zero salsa and other sides we paid for. The Dr. Pepper tasted like soda water. And the food was just terrible. The sopapillas were as tough as leather. I don't know what happened to Taco Cabana. They used to be so good for a cheap plate of tex mex. Never again.

Horrible experience. First the tacos were wrong, I notice and asked them for the correct item. Got back to work (2 minutes away) and everything was inedible. The quesadilla meat was hard as a rock, the chips were completely stale and the tacos still weren't correct after they assured me it was. The only thing right was the queso but since the chips were stale we couldn't even eat that. I won't be back.

Do not eat at this taco cabana you will be throwing your money away. The food is always cold. It’s wrong half the time. The prices are way up and the quality is way down if you are unfortunate enough to order beef fajitas. The meat is always tough as a boot what there is of it don’t waste your money going here. It is not worth the trip. The reason there’s no one hardly ever in line is because they just flat don’t eat here anymore.

Went through the Uber app ordered $75 worth of food. Order was pretty easy 12 pack of their breakfast tacos three were bacon and egg, three were chorizo and egg the remaining six were bean and cheese. 2 carne guisada tacos 3 chalupa. There were other things, but those are not the issue. Did not receive any bacon and cheese tacos had six chorizo and six bean and cheese. The beans were never heated up. The Chalupa‘s they literally flopped cold beans in the center of the shell almost 2 inches thick. I could’ve made three or four with just the amount of beans on one. And there were no Carne Quisada tacos. It was late. They weren’t quite closed yet by the time I got my food, but they refused to answer the phone refusing to call back as well as refusing to answer the phone. Pretty ridiculous if you ask me and really bad service.

Rice was dry and chewy, tortillas were so stale that I could chew them, everything was just mildly warm and didn't taste of much. The queso on top of the enchiladas was pretty good but that's about it.

The girl that came over to take our order was nice and cheerful. Very helpful as well. That was the end of any service at all. I am surprised I didn't have make it myself. Our food was terrible. Dried out cold beans. Didn't even melt the cheese. Clumps of rice. The meat was way over cooked and seriously over salty. I had to open my beer on the edge of the table. It wasn't a twist off. I used to love that place. What a shame. I will never go back there again.

I decided to give it another try after a few string of bad service and food last year. I should have just left it alone. Awful drive thru experience again. Long wait on the food even though no one inside and only one other person in line. When he hands me the food, he gives me the bag of queso and chips and the styrofoam box with my taco plate by itself, no bag for the box. I ask if there is a bag for the box and he says no we don’t have any bags for that. I left and parked to check to make sure I got everything ( I didn’t want the car behind me have yo wait any longer ) and sure enough, no pico and no salsa/sauce for the tacos. I walked into the store to let them know and get the sauces. They point me to the self service salsa bar — defeats the purpose of going through the drive thru. Oh and right by the salsa bar is a bunch of plastic bags that could have fit my whole order. I talked to the manager but there was no accountability there. I’ll just stick to Rosa’s for this type of convenience, quick Texmex food. Rosa’s has good food, quick and friendly service, and it’s always consistent. That’s why their Google ratings and reviews are so much better then this TC location. I’m done with this TC location.

The manager in the morning is so rude for no reason. Twice now she’s had an attitude and it’s so uncalled for. My bad for wanting to buy some food from your establishment, I won’t ever do it again. How dare I come and bother you guys.

They got my order wrong this morning I came again this afternoon and they literally gave me like 2 millimeters of salsa I’m literally done I’m 7 months pregnant and I’m just fed up i think they did it on purpose bc I came through and realized I forgot my card and just immediately left and got out of line to go back and get it they asked me again what my order was like 3 times ig to see if I had just came thru and ordered it and left idk but this is petty

I am very disappointed in this location of Taco Cabana. We called in an order for our school last week on Wednesday for pickup on Sunday morning for an event. The person on the phone who took the order confirmed all of the details and total, and when we showed up on Sunday to pick up our order it was nowhere to be found. Since their online ordering system does not allow for tax-exempt purchases for schools, we couldn't place the order online like we would have liked. They were unable to fulfill our order and tried to blame it on us saying we must have called the wrong location which was not the case as I double checked the phone number before and then after the order was placed. The customer service was abysmal and we will no longer be using them for our future events and I would recommend if you have to place a tax exempt order for a school to go anywhere else.

I eat here alot and I've noticed lately that the quantity of the food ordered has reduced. I'm pretty sure the people who work and eat there don't make their plates like the ones they serve the actual people paying their income. Management needs to fix this ASAP

We ordered online & yes it was Christmas Eve, but early. We went to pick it up & had to wait 10 min while it was being prepared. There was only one couple in there at the time. My daughter ordered beef & bean nachos with extra queso & an order of queso & chips & I ordered 2 cheese enchiladas with double rice & queso. My daughter had NO queso on her nachos & barely any beef or beans. She got the order of chips, but no queso. I got cold, hard cheese enchiladas & probably 2 tablespoons of rice that had more hard tomatoes & tomato skins than rice. I have NEVER gotten such BAD food & very small amount at that & BAD service at Taco Cabana before. I will not be going back.

Another location that "CANT" put enchilada sauce on a Mexican pizza in stead of the sauce that comes on it. "CANT" ring it up they say. 2 spoons full is totally out of question. Hot sauce is givin away like mints at sonic and you can't do a little enchilada sauce. Customer satisfaction???? Where's that at. If I didn't want cheese they wouldn't put it on ,but sauce.....

I've frequent TC's pretty much all my life and I have for the most part been satisfied with my service and food quality but these 3 tacos I ordered were these tiny, too thick flour tortillas, topped with this burnt flavored gravy meat version of what was supposed to be carne guisada. I was on the road and wanted to make a quick stop before the other half of a 4 hour drive back to SA and thought TC's would be a sure thing and I was disappointed. Even the guy in the drive through was just there like I was inconvincing him by being there. This TC's is one i will no longer be visiting

COMPLETE WASTE OF MONEY! Would be better off getting a taco at any other food truck. Food quality is the worst I’ve had in a really long time not to mention the food is expensive as hell.

while the gentlemen at the drive through window was polite and friendly...the food order was very poor...I ordered the steak fajitas nachos...their quality has gone down significantly...no cheese or veggies...pretty lazy attempt

Horrible!!! Rude service at the drive through speaker. We ordered 7 tacos and asked for 7 sauces and she only wanted to give us 4 sauces and said she had to charge for the rest. They didn’t drain the chorizo and the tacos were very sloppy.

Did not have the stuff + I order mango margarita and that gave me strawberry margarita I ordered Mango margarita and the salsa bar was closed, if the restaurant open for dine in they need to have the salsa bar open. I did get any salsa with my food and had to ask for it couple of time to get just to 3-4 of them Management need to work on this one .

When he handed the food to me, I had tried to grab it and straighten it out as fast as I could but it had already tilted over on its side. I set it down and patiently waited to get home 11 miles away. This is what I got. It’s a fast food place. I guess I shouldn’t expect green guacamole, hot food or everything in its place, it was to go. I asked for red sauce on the side since I got green sauce enchiladas, also a no go. I am pretty sure the kids that work here are still in high school considering their lack of basic understanding. Can’t say I’m surprised really. Just save your money for any restaurant. You can order to go there. Or Taco Bell ;) save your money
