I got the lamb kebab BBQ with sides of hummus, tabbouleh salad and come with plenty of delicious sauces , the meat is fresh made and delicious over a rice that is finely seasoned, and when you dip the pitta and hummus it brings you over the Mediterranean Sea. I got a also baklava for to go and it’s so delicious nicely sweet. The service is 5 stars they give a recommendation and were helpful and friendly. I highly recommend this place !!! ☺️
I was in the store a couple days ago when there was a difficult client in front of me making it incredibly hard to for a young man to do his job. The manager stepped in but again want yall to know, it was not your fault. Now what is your fault - Giving me the most delicious Baklava when not needed and now I need it in my life also more often. Also, thanks for the tip these sandwiches can be enjoyed cold too and are right! I really hope my tip could put a smile on your employer's face and thank yall again.
One of the best places to eat in Cedar Park. The hummus is the best I’ve ever had and the gyro wrap is my go to. The lamb plate is worth the 30 minute cook time. It’s tender and juicy.
Food was excellent! The chicken kebab plate was sooooo good, the hummus was creamy and fresh, and the pita was soft and warm! My husband loves his beef shawarma wrap, too!
I was so bummed after my favorite falafel food truck closed, so was on the search for great falafel. Look no further, if you are a falafel lover like me! Leyla’s is amazing! Not only is the food delicious and made with care, but the owners were absolutely charming and humorous. We cracked jokes while I waited for my food. The portions were humongous and the food was beyond affordable. I was glad I found a new source of delicious Mediterranean food. If you try out Leyla’s, you are guaranteed to go back. The restaurant is quaint and clean, and the staff there is wonderful. So happy to see the place buzzing during the off hour I went there. Try them! Great place.
Overall it was very good,😊 the establishment was clean and the gentleman that helped us was very nice and friendly. The reason I marked 4 star for the atmosphere is that I wished I saw a little bit more of there colorful country decor represented in the space, ( But that’s only my opinion).Me and my husband got a chicken gyro plate and a chicken plate. The meet was flavorful the only complaint could be that the chicken was a bit too dry. The hummus was so good, the rice nicely cooked and the salad was refreshing. We will be coming back and trying different dishes. If you are someone that likes to eat different dishes and want to try something new go and support this small establishment.
Oh my taste buds! Stop the debate and check them out! Leyla's is delicious, affordable, and kid-approved! I had their gyro plate while the kiddo had their chicken child's plate. (Sorry! No pic for the child plate.) Both are generously portioned, so it's likely you'll have leftovers. That's not even mentioning their hummus and yogurt dip... I could eat their hummus every day and be happy. If they start selling it to take home, it might become a staple in my home. Just saying... They have vegetarian options in addition to their tasty meat selections, so most people can find something they can enjoy. 😊👍 They are also family friendly with some booster chairs, if needed. All this to say, we'll definitely be back!
If I could give this place 10 stars I would, everything is delicious. Especially the garlic dip that comes with meals, it is what dreams are made of. Our favorite thing to get is the Gryo or Gryo and chicken plate, but we've also gotten wraps which are also delicious and are easier to take to go. I thought I didn't like hummus, but Leyla's hummus is delicious. Everything tastes fresh, has great flavor, the pitas are perfect, etc. Our toddler also loves everything as well. Anything store bought just won't measure up after having the food here. This has quickly become one of our favorite restaurants!
Best Mediterranean food in North Austin! The food is fresh and delicious. The staff are always nice. I love their Specialty over Rice with Gyro. It's an entire meal with salad, rice, veggies, and flavorful gyro meat, with some tangy and mild spicy sauces. Please give Leyla's a try if you are in Cedar Park in NW Austin. You won't be disappointed. Oh, and I forgot to mention their baclava...Flaky, sweet, nutty, chewy, lots of honey...it's so good!
Absolutely amazing!! This is the best mediterranean food I’ve ever had! The workers were incredibly kind and able to accommodate my requests with no problem. We placed our order, ate it, and went back for seconds- that’s how amazing it was! They have a wide variety of options and ensure they are all amazing!! I would definitely recommend everyone try Leyla’s! I know I’ll be going back!
Delicious, I recommend Leylas specialty beef plate. Food is fresh and flavorful, the baklava was on point. Edit: I've been coming here for a few years now. This place is simply fantastic all around. The food is excellent, but so are the people. Jordan is as quality a person as the food they serve, which is immaculate.
I am finally able to eat great Middle East food here in ATX! This place is as authentic as it get and the people in the kitchen are actual chefs from the Middle East. We tried few things on the menu and so far everything is great. It’s reasonably priced & I highly recommend! Below picture is for the chicken shawarma Arabi. It was AMAZING
A Rocky Start with a Tasty Finish at Leyla’s Mediterranean Café When the gyro craving hits at supper time, you answer the call. A quick search led us to Leyla’s Mediterranean Café—just five minutes from home and, as it turns out, five minutes from a minor emotional roller coaster. We pulled up to an empty parking lot, which is never the love letter you hope a restaurant writes to your stomach. I told myself, “If this looks sketchy, we’re bailing.” Inside was nice but I stood at the counter for a solid three minutes while the three guys behind it were deep in an animated conversation in a language I couldn’t decipher. For all I know, they were debating world peace or the correct ratio of tzatziki to pita. Either way, we were invisible… until suddenly we weren’t. Once acknowledged, the vibe shifted. The gentleman who took our order was friendly, courteous, and ready to feed two hungry gyro-seekers. We both went with the classic combo: gyro, fries, and a drink. Five minutes later—boom—food. The verdict - Gyro: Tasty, well-seasoned, but could’ve used a little more meat and fixings inside. The pita itself was a bit dry and started to fall apart like it had emotional baggage, I had to grab a fork to finish. - Fries: Surprisingly great. Perfect seasoning, crisp, and honestly the unsung hero of the meal. - Dining room: Clean, casual, and exactly what you expect from a quick Mediterranean stop. In the end, Leyla’s redeemed itself. After the slow greeting and the empty-room jitters, the food delivered a solid, satisfying bite. Not a destination spot, but absolutely a reliable go‑to when you want something quick, tasty, and close to home.
Tried Leyala’s Mediterranean in Cedar Park and had a good experience overall. It’s a small place, but the food was a pleasant surprise—especially their bowls, which were flavorful and well put together. The baklava really stood out and was easily the highlight of the meal. The wrap was just okay compared to the bowls, but still decent. Overall, a solid spot for Mediterranean food with some standout items, especially if you’re in the mood for a good bowl and dessert.
Solid Mediterranean food at Leyla's! We opted for delivery from Leyla's after a long day working around the house. Good choice. The food was pre-ordered earlier in the day and arrived on time! We tried three different plates, beef kabob, ground lamb and a chicken/gyro meat combo. All the meats were good, the beef gyro was our favorite of the group. The sides were hummus, tabbouleh, eggplant and house salad. The house salad was unimpressive, but the other three sides were deelish! We'd avoid the house salad next time around. Definitely 4 stars worthy, recommend Leyla's for a good Med meal.
I had such a great experience at Leila's Mediterranean Cafe! The staff is incredibly friendly, and the place is spotless. I ordered the chicken plate with rice and the hummus was absolutely amazing. Our family from out of town also enjoyed their choices, particularly the chicken seekh kabab and falafel, which were fantastic. The only thing that didn't quite hit the mark for us was the chicken shawarma wrap. It just felt like a basic wrap. To top our meal off we tried their in-house baklava, and it was the perfect sweet ending to our meal. I'll definitely be returning for more!
We haven't ordered here in a while. OMG.. what a mistake it was. The amount of the meat on my chicken and gyros plate was not what it used too. It was crumbled meat to look more. Totally dry. The salad was not even a handful and cut so small it was almost a mush. The dressing spilled in the hummus and the small amount of hummus was diluted with vinegar. Not very tasty. I also had a side of fries and they were almost inedible. They were not done, soft, very disgusting. The quality is far from what it used to be. Maybe it's better if you go there, but delivered is not good at all.
This was one of the most disappointing meals I’ve had in a long time. Falafel – Cold, extremely dry, and completely lacking flavor. Pita Bread – Served cold. Combo Meal (Lamb Mashawi BBQ, Beef Shish Kebab, Eggplant Dip, Tabbouleh) – The lamb was cold and tasteless. The beef shish kebab had a strange texture, almost like chewing plastic. Fried Mushrooms – The worst item. Cold, overcooked, and tasted like they were fried in old, dirty oil. Completely inedible. Pita Bread (second order) – Again, cold. Gyro Plate with Tzatziki Sauce – The gyro meat was dry and cold. Baklava – Very small portion, dry, and clearly not fresh. Nearly everything was served cold and lacked freshness or flavor. This was unacceptable in terms of both quality and preparation. Extremely disappointing experience.
I used to really love this place, but consistently every single time I have ordered for the past few months they have gotten my order completely wrong. I went to call to ask if maybe its something I'm doing or maybe theres a miscommunication in the kitchen and their phone doesnt even ring, just goes right to "the person you are calling cannot take your call at this moment" it feels really disheartening to watch one of my favorite places lose the quality and care with which they used to make their food and be unwilling to even speak with customers whos food they have ruined for them.
