The food was absolutely scrumptious!!!!! We had all as Detroit style pies (BBQ chicken, cheech & chong, and pioneer). One of our new favorites!
Food and service here are amazing! They messed our order slightly and offered to give us a complimentary pizza and gave us a discount. The food is also delicious. Highly recommend getting avocado ecstasy salad. Their pizza was delicious and also loved their oreo dessert.
Ordered the Original BBQ chicken pizza and wings. The pizza was really good. Soft and craved for more. I liked the wings with killa sauce. Everyone liked the killa sauce on the side. Would definitely order again !!
Love everything about this place! Crispy crust Detroit style pizza is bomb, we’ve tried them all…even the Vietnamese one, beef bulgogi is surprisingly good! The other menu items have all been fantastic as well, we can honestly say we haven’t had anything bad here or that we didn’t like. Everything was awesome. The sandwiches are great, the brick bread is ridiculous, the meatballs are super flavorful and tender. Every time we’ve been, the staff has been incredibly attentive and on their game, management is really great as well. This restaurant is well run, even though the staff seem younger, they really take care of you! Oh wait, I forgot about the Cesar salad, the best house made Cesar dressing I’ve ever had, heavy garlic and parm! Highly recommended!
Great environment, great food & drinks, great people, what’s not to love? These folks have taken care of my family and I for the better part of 2 years now and I couldn’t be happier with the service and the hospitality. Hunter has done an amazing job running the place, and every team member has been so great to us each time. Our food always comes out perfect and the drinks are immaculate, 10/10 in pretty much every way. If they had a couch and an arcade machine I’d be here all day. Keep it up fellas ❤️
Loved my experience here, food was amazing (the brick bread was awesome and the elemental killa style is to die for). Food was out nice and quick and the service was awesome. Mady is super nice and attentive always bringing refills without me even having to ask, over all 10/10 experience and would come back!
The pizza was so good and fresh. We had the Pioneer which was like a traditional Detroit pepperoni deep dish and the BBQ Chicken which our server recommended. Normally a BBQ pizza wouldn't be my first or second choice, but it was the bomb. It really stole the show compared to a lot of pizza I've had around Dallas. We tried Prince St. after it just opened and I'll say their best still might be outmatched by KillA Pie. I also had the Blueberry Mule cocktail which was refreshing and well made. I will say their dessert menu could use some work, but then again this place doesn't really even need the dessert. It is that good.
This place was absolutely delicious!!!!! It far exceeded our expectations! My toddler usually only picks at his pizza, but here he ate 2 full slices! (They are pretty thick). The Motown Seoul was my absolute favorite, it exceeded in satisfying my pregnancy craving. Their hot honey is also sooooo delicious. (Dip the motown seoul in some hot honey!!!) We will definitely be back. The inside of the restaurant was nice and dim, too with some neon lights. I really enjoyed the food and experience. The service was also great, too! I can't wait to come back here and order some more Motown Seoul pizza. I thought about this place for 3 days straight after eating here!!!
This is a gem of a restaurant in Prosper. The Detroit style pizzas are loaded with top quality ingredients and are SO unique and flavorful. The atmosphere is amazing and super relaxed. The staff is always welcoming and they have a great bar as well! If you haven’t been, do yourself a favor and go. (Also, plenty of other amazing dishes and salads that are just as tasty)
Haven’t had one baited on the menu, and I’m probably about 2/3 of the way through it. LOVE the Detroit style crust! Fresh toppings, fresh ingredients! Service is always on point too….even though the staff is young lol. Usually means the management is great and they train well. Definitely recommend! I don’t see why they’re a 4.5 stars, should be at least 4.8.
This place is amazing! I drove about 15 minutes from my house and was super pleased with my experience at this location. I typically prefer thin crust pizza, but this Detroit-style pizza was exceptional! The sauce they use as a base and marinara was packed with flavor! I highly recommend this place to anyone in the area looking for great pizza.
When in the Gate of Prosper shopping area, KillA Pie and its Google reviews drew our interest on their famous Detroit style pizzas. It was Friday! In order to avoid lengthy waiting time during the peak restaurant hours, we decided to eat early. We arrived around 5 pm and were seated right away; we were lucky because we could still try some happy hour appetizers at good prices. The starters were served quickly: two pieces imposters and a tray of house tots, dipping sauces added tasty flavors. We liked both very much so I have to say these are must haves. We ordered a Detroit style pioneer pizza which was cheesy and soft; also a Hail Caesar salad served as a healthy side. Wait staff are very nice and attentive, the atmosphere is very good too. The diner deserves five star overall rating. We definitely will come back to try different menu options.
This place is off the hook. I was skeptical because I am not a fan of deep dish pizza. That stopped by the time my jaw closed. May just be my new favorite. The wings were big, juicy and tender. Flavors are very different, and beyond delicious. Creativity in most culinary establishments could take a lesson from this place. The pizza almost has me at a loss for words. Just a must try place. We live in sherman. Will be making the drive to prosper just to come here many times to come. Get in there, get happy! The killa sauce lives up to its name! Game changer.
Detroit Style Pizza!!! Best pizza in Dallas for sure, maybe in all of Texas. Nice soft and airy crust with crisp corners, excellent sauce, Wisconsin cheese, great pepperonis. The breadsticks were also excellent, my youngest son wants that as his entire meal next time we go! My favorite place from Detroit is Buddy’s Pizza. The guy who started Buddy’s came down and taught this place how to make their sauce and dough. It’s not very close to where I live but it was worth the drive and I can’t wait to go back!!
The Detroit style pizza here is one of the best I've had here in Dallas. The crust and the bottom of the pizzas was crispy yet light. The toppings were flavorful and was of good amount. The wings were pretty average and their salad is about what you'd expect of a salad. The service was great, however, and the price is very wallet friendly. Inside, the place is like any other bar/tavern style so not much to be said. If you're ever in the mood for great Detroit slow pizza, this is the spot. I'm coming back for sure.
The pizza here is good! We love the bbq chicken here the most!! Must try! The service here could be better through reason for the 4 stars. Every time we have come here after they take your order the waiter disappears until your food gets there. So maybe just be more attentive to refills etc…otherwise great place for pizza with family!
Ordered various pizzas and sides. The food was very good. Everything was made correctly. I'm not a big fan of Detroit style pizza, but I really enjoyed it. Personally, I liked the slender style than the original Detroit style. The meatballs and cheese bread were a hit. The service was good, the restaurant was clean. My only problem was the drinks. The soft drinks were flat, all of them. The other issue was the beer. 5pm, and they had to change out the keg. Bad timing, maybe? Maybe check your kegs when opening up? When we did get our beers, they were not cold. I should have canceled my order, but I took a chance and lost. Could be a bad day, but it still affected my experience. If you like Detroit style pizza, definitely check them out. If your drink is flat, ask for water or tea.
I went to Killa pie for my first time to say after hearing good reviews. I went in and the young woman at the host stand was being very rude straight off the bat. She has auburn brown hair in a ponytail, and was short. We went up and immediately she was just glaring at me, and visibly looked annoyed, dismissive, and not being any help at all. Mind you, me and my friend were the only ones in the restaurant. I looked at the menu, figured out what I wanted and ordered. I did the build your own, small, thin crust with 6 pieces. She then reviewed over my order, and I confirmed. I payed, which brings me to my next point, of how insanely over priced this place is. It was $17 for my pizza, that is absolutely tiny. I waited for my order, got my food, and through the whole thing the lady was still glaring at me. I got my pizza, went to my car and opened my tiny box, and was so disappointed. Either their thin crust is still deep dish, or she gave me the wrong thing. I ordered a thin crust with 6 slices and i got deep dish with 4 slices? My toppings were right, my receipt came with it and said it was what I ordered, but it wasn’t. I ate it anyways, it was okay. It was 4pm and I hadn’t eaten anything all day, and it still didn’t make it taste any better. Overall the service sucks, the food is way to overpriced, food is underwhelming, and the atmosphere sucked. Definitely not recommending this place to anyone, and most definitely not coming back.
Came in on a Sunday lunch around 3 pm, only 1 other tables present. Wanted to try a new spot in the area. Got the tots, seemed to be frozen nothing special, esp with the watered down ranch sauce, never seen ranch drips like water. The wings were ok, also wasn’t amazed with the sauce, and the chicken wasn’t good quality, lots of fat. Deep dish pizza mushroom with chicken looked amazing, but once you bite into it it’s very oily, I had two squares after that it was too greasy for me, you press on it and the oil drips, couldn’t finish it or enjoy it. Service was on point, quick and friendly. Not a place that I would visit again.
This place was my go to for deep dish pizza, but unfortunately, I don't think I'll be able to return. I’m really disappointed with my experience tonight. I placed an order that wasn’t ready on time, and after waiting much longer than expected, I was told my food was “on the way.” Turns out, it had actually been given to another customer altogether. The restaurant was packed and completely disorganized, with several people waiting on missing or late orders. When I finally received my Caesar salads, the bacon inside was raw, which is unacceptable. On top of that, one of the front-end hostesses seemed overwhelmed and ended up calling my name out in a rude, frustrated manner in front of other guests. It was unprofessional and embarrassing. Another hostess did try to make things right by giving me a $10 voucher, and I appreciated her effort — but honestly, the whole visit left such a bad impression that I don’t think I’ll be returning. The service tonight was disappointing and frankly ridiculous for a restaurant of this size.
