Locally made beers, nice atmosphere, cute outside sitting and great options of beers. They also offer seasons beers. Service is fast and the place wasn't too busy. You can try some samples before making your final decision of what beer you would like to drink. They also offer flights in case you would like to try more beers. I was surprisingly impressed with the cherry pie sour it was not tart, it reminded me almost like a beer/wine mix. Very nice !

I just went to this restaurant with my family and in-laws. The food was amazing. We ordered ribs, pulled pork mac and cheese, pulled pork sandwiche, a burger, and other things. Everything was very delicious. Their drinks and prices we also good (I didn't try their beers; I prefer cocktails). The service could have been a little quicker, but I understand there was a lot of food. They have a nice outdoor seating area. Parking may be challenging if you're not trying to pay for it ($16 after one hour). I would definitely come back.

Really solid Brewery, in heart of downtown Providence. Food was hot and fresh, with nice subtle flavor profile twist while not ruining the overall expected taste throw over complicating the result. Beer was also a good experience with a 6 beer flight option that had for me 5 out of 6 I could and will order again. My family had half chicken entree 5 of 5, wings - Thai chili 5 of 5, kids tenders - none left. Staff was attentive amd engaged!

One of my favorite spots in Providence! The location is perfect and every time we come here the food is amazing and the staff is wonderful! Kim, the manager has great attention to detail and is such a sweetheart. Would highly recommend the nachos, mac and cheese, and pepperoni pizza! They’re so welcoming to pups and our dog absolutely loves it here!

Stopped in for lunch, had a delicious pulled pork sandwich and a garden salad. The bartenders took great care of me.

The food was good and the vibe was nice. We came to celebrate a graduation & Derrick was a great server. We had a large group so we had a little bit of everything on the menu. We had Brussels sprouts, calamari, chicken tenders, spinach dip and fried mozzarella for appetizers and it was all so good. I’m not a fan of Brussels sprouts but it was good! For my entree I had salmon and that char on it was excellent. Everyone else enjoyed everything. I would definitely go back. Oh and since it’s a brewery the beer was pretty good I heard as well!

I recently visited here for a friend’s birthday dinner. Despite having a large group (14) and adding the last two or three at the last minute, the staff was very accommodating and incredibly nice. They even cut and helped serve a cake which was brought from home. The service was attentive and friendly, with lots of great advice about the menu and the drinks available. The staff clearly try everything so that they can recommend it, which I believe is essential for a successful restaurant. I had the fish and chips which was a large serving and very delicious. Though at first I thought the prices might be a little high, the servings here are very generous and well worth the price—especially if you share or plan to take home leftovers. My neighbors had burgers and Caesar salads with chicken, which looked and smelled delicious! Overall, I can’t wait to come back to this place! I’m not even a huge beer person, but thankfully they have plenty of other options at the bar and food good enough to not even need the drinks anyway. Can’t imagine a better place to come before/after Waterfire!

In town for one night and wanted to try some local craft beers and grab a bite to eat. The Union Station Brewery delivered an awesome experience in the three categories of beer, food, and atmosphere. I had the Ribeye with Mashed Potatoes and Broccoli...who would think you could get an awesome steak in a brewery...it happened! I sat at the bar and stared at the selection of craft beers available and was overwhelmed of the choices. Cody the bartender was fantastic, made me feel like Union Station family in a matter of seconds and helped me make the right beer selection for my palette...also awesesome...5 Minute Major for me. The food was great, the beers were great, and the atmosphere and staff are awesome. I highly recommend Union Station and if you give them a try you will continue to revisit! Thank you and I appreciate the wonderful experience!

While in town for work we came here one night for dinner and drinks. The décor inside is super cool being in an old train station. the food is really good as is the beer. Kevin the bar tender is an awesome guy who had lots of stories to tell us. We came back the next nigh for karaoke and it was an awesome night of fun.

Kevin is the BEST, he's a peach 🍑. Best service. Best drinks. Best bartender. This guys know his stuff, and how to make a "good time" a "GREAT TIME" We keep coming back for the genuine experience he provides. A LEGIT asset to this establishment. 2 years and counting Kevin is the BEST.

Very cool brewpub with a great twist on traditional bar food and dinner favorites. Extensive beer and cocktail menu featuring great house-brewed and "guest" beers. Buffalo Chicken sandwich was a hit. Cauliflower tacos with chicken were a nice mash-up of flavors and healthy pub grub. Brussel sprouts were a flavorful addition with the garlic and peppercorn aioli. A selection of four-packs of cans are available to go. Mug club on Tuesdays. Friendly staff and warm atmosphere.

During my road trip of New England I spend my last evening in this brewery in Providence. The place has a bit of a sports bar vibe with TV sets on the wall - and some rock music playing - I like that. It has a nice selection of draft beers and others. Good menu and I choose their cheese burger that was really good. Overall it was a great experience!

My brother and I came here after a bustling Sunday to eat and to catch some of the Bills vs Raiders game. Lovely inside, very good food and the beer was also delicious. The particular one I enjoyed was the two roads Rosemary's Baby with the brown sugar rim. So good! Staff was friendly and even met a fellow Buffalonian! Will consider again when I am in town.

Brew pub steps away from the Marriott in an industrial space that has a relaxed vibe. Beers on tap are kind of limited but you can probably find one you like. Friendly wait staff and a tasty pretzel. Also an outdoor space that seems very relaxing.

Jazz night Wednesdays - Super cool subway station style bar, great beer list. 16 year old bassist with drum and sax.

Had some great beers. The hibiscus and pilsner were by far my favorites. The double ipa and regular ipas were good too, just not as much my favorites. Did like the off selection of other beers as well. Good variety and friendly staff. Also get the bowl of clam chowder. You can get the cup but you'll want the bigger bowl as the cup just isn't enough of that deliciousness.

We were on a trip for my niece’s wedding. It was a beautiful day the glass door was open and we were immediately invited in. There was a painting class going on, a friendly dog calmly walking around, and a generally enjoyable and happy environment. The smoked wings were crispy and amazing. Our conversation with the owner was an also very enjoyable. Happy people enjoying their work and serving others. Highly recommend.

Union Station Brewery has delicious food with great ambiance. Our server, Hailey, was fantastic. She offered great suggestions for food and drinks. And she did NOT disappoint with service. We will definitely eat here again the next time we're in time.

Lively place, great service and delicious food! Makayla, our server, was apologetic that our food might be delayed due to a large party coming in right before us. Both she and her manager Kim wanted to make sure we were happy with our service, our food, etc., since our appetizer ended up coming out with the meal. Overall, we will give Union Station Brewery 5 stars and highly recommend it! Again, great service and interactions with Makayla and Kim!

Cannot say enough great things about the staff. I left a coat and other things behind me after a medical emergency that forced me to leave town. They mailed me my coat, after having it dry cleaned. Great foot, atmosphere and people.

Everything was fantastic! First time in Rhode Island and I searched for a brewery with food and this place came up. Drinks and food were delicious. I had the clam chowder, did not disappoint and a meatball sub and fries. The meatballs and sauce were amazing and I found out all of it was house made. Ryan was are bartender and did a great job and was so friendly. I highly recommend a visit here!

Awesome place, really friendly staff, and great food. The mac and cheese with buffalo chicken and blue cheese was killer. We loved everything, except maybe the Brussels, they had a unique glaze on them or something, not bad, just different.

The Doug White and the Nightmare on Thayer Street are absolutely delicious. Definitely a cool spot to check out while visiting Rhode Island. Wasn't expecting to have a real RI beer in the state this year, yet here we are. Thank you Union Station Brewery. 🍻

Traveled to Providence for work and stayed in the hotel next door to this restaurant. I could absolutely kick myself for not discovering it till my last night. Excellent vibe to the restaurant, nice draft beer choices and very pleasant service. Got a pizza and wings to go and waited at the bar. Bartender gave a suggestion for a draft beer while I waited and it was spot on. Pizza and wings were delicious. Definitely try this place. Don't make my mistake and eat at the chain restaurants which at best are fair

Great food. Great brews. Reasonably priced. Plus they are dog friendly which is a huge plus. It is hidden away but its a hidden jewel. One of my favorite places to eat out in PVD. I highly recommend visiting if your in PVD.

So, first of all you walk into an historic sweet building with exposed brick and industrial vibe yet old school and in some ways I felt like I was in an Irish pub, it was eclectic. I’ve been to Michelin star restaurants where you want to talk to the chef and tell them about how amazing their food is. Rarely if ever have I been to a pub and wanted to talk to the chef of our meal. It was absolutely amazing, everything tasted fantastic! Leery at first, but decided on the clam pizza and it was delicious!! HOMEMADE DOUGH. We also had the New York strip sandwich and YUM!!!!! Do not sleep on this place because you think it’s pub food, it’s NOT. And we got to meet the chef, someone who incorporates all of his past experiences into his present culinary delights. Bravo. So, wondering about the service? Absolutely outstanding and friendly, the sweetie Michaela from Cape Cod was adorable, thank you for your service and your hospitality. And if anyone is curious, we don’t know a soul in this town. Our son attends Brown university and we are from Ankeny Iowa. This is a true and accurate review!

I love it here. It was my second time coming for karaoke on Mondays. I love Chris he's a great host and so friendly. Diana always takes care of everyone and makes sure I'm settled in. The food was fantastic. My friends and I loved the nashville chicken tacos! Seriously, wasn't expecting it to be so good. Come through for karaoke and trivia, its fun! If I want to sing and have a good time on Mondays this is deffo my new spot.

Couple of long islanders visiting our neighbors. We love meeting locals and enjoying a local place. Came specifically for Mac and cheese and walking off into the sunset with Bri and Tessa (yes we just met them today) and wasn’t disappointed. In all seriousness- come visit. Grab a pint and have a bite. A chill and easy going place with a good and diverse selection.

3.7 rounded up. Good beers in comfortable bar with friendly service. Beers (porter) were good. The Bloody Mary was not good. I asked for spicy which should have meant more hot sauce but instead got more horseradish which makes it bitter. The tomato juice that they used was not sour or sweet. They might have used great local ingredients but the mix was not good. The burger was average. The large portioned fish and chips was pretty good although the tartar sauce could have used more pickle juice or lemon juice. The service was top notch and the pub atmosphere was like a pair of comfortable jeans. Jan 2025

They have a selection of mocktails, and they're half the price of cocktails. Huge respect for that! The service was great, and the food was serviceable bar bites. Great location downtown, definitely not a bad place to meet up while downtown.

Food was very well prepared. Outstanding service. 5 years later. I came back expecting to get the same service and food quality as I did before. Ordered a couple of appetizers. Brussel sprouts with bacon and the smoked meatballs. The Brussels came out almost with a burnt flavor. The smoke meatballs were delicious but cold. Our waitress was very attentive but she wasn’t the cook. I was disappointed but most likely will stop by on my next trip through town.

Brewery located right next to our hotel. Feels more like a bar than your traditional brewery. Sat right at the bar and ordered food and drinks. Food was tremendous, I’m still thinking about those BBQ wings. Ordered a flight to sample all the in-house beer. Not necessarily the best in PVD but all very tasty.

Great place! Wonderful food and interesting plating! Every dish was tasty and generous portions at fair prices. Some really delicious beers - most breweries have one or two good ones. We had the flight tasting and everyone liked them all but the peach flavored beer. Which really would be great in summer. Nice cozy ambiance as well.

Stopped in while visiting from out of town. Cool location. Great ambiance both inside and out. The service was very good. The beer is just okay when compared to other spots in the city but it is an enjoyable place to spend an afternoon, particularly on a nice day.

Pretty good beer and friendly staff. Annoyingly the cheese from the Nachos melted into the greaseproof paper.

Arrived at about 6:30pm with no reservation and there were 2 available spots at the bar. Good service and music. We both ordered beet salads, one with chicken and avocado another with shrimp. Both were tasty. I would’ve enjoyed mine with pecans or another crunchy ingredient plus cranberries. The guac and beets were delicious. The lemon vinaigrette was ok, I had to ask for extra bc I felt my salad needed it. Drinks were ok!

The atmosphere was very lively and had a nice buzz to it, but not too much. I visited on a Tuesday night and it was fairly busy for most of the evening. The beer was very good. A nice selection of styles for all beer drinks. They had five beers on tap while I was there, not sure if that is the norm. It looks like they also have a variety of other alcoholic beverages for those that do not drink beer. The beer menu changes regularly but I have included a picture of the current menu. The food was very good. I had the buffalo wings and truffle fries. Both were as expected. I do like that the wings seemed to be well cooked and not oversized like a lot of wings you get these days. The fries were very good they are a bit on the larger size, personally I prefer the skinner truffle fries, but these style met my expectations. Overall worth a stop. The beers make this place, it is a brewery after all, right? The food is a nice addition.

Amazing strawberry crème brûlée from the weekly specials..and a mocktail that will flashback to 2am at the club, without the hangover! A warm and inviting atmosphere if you’re looking to unwind on a Sunday evening. Star staff and service! 🌟

To start off my beer tasting day at Providence I stopped by at Union Station and was delighted by their Sour Ale - a perfect match for a few slices of sourdough bread 🍞 They don’t support Apple Pay so I had to return to pick up my credit card…a bit cumbersome but got me some extra steps on my fitness tracker 😛

Threw me off because I thought it was a brewery but seems to just be a bar pub. Staff was super nice and had plenty of recommendations. Not a huge fan of the drinks we ordered but wouldn’t mind stopping by again to try more varieties. Now for my standard COVID comments as of April 2022. No one is wearing masks but the seating is pretty separated. Felt fine just sitting indoors for a drink.

The waitstaff was super helpful on what to order but the meal overall was good, nothing to write home about. The burger could have been a little hotter, seemed too cold for me. The recommended beer was pretty good and I really do like the ambiance of the place. If you’re stopping by for a few drinks, I definitely recommended this place because they have a good selection.

Cool historical building. Good unique beer and root beer. Food was awesome. The enchiladas are flavorful and captures the authenticity of a Mexican dish served in a Pub. The steak tastes like a burger complimented with savory green beans and fries. The nachos are good too; fresh guacamole, good cheese. People here are great and friendly. Thanks.

Feels more like a bar than your traditional brewery with live band. Sat right at the bar and ordered food and drinks. IPAs was tremendous, Ordered a flight to sample all the in-house beer. Not necessarily the best in PVD but all very tasty.

The location is great of course. The interior is nice. The beer was ok. The food was ok at best: the presentation is on par with fast food takeout, the taste is just ok. The lemon sauce cod was more like soup - so much fluid was on the plate. Ribeye dip sandwich - bland. And the dip is simply vinegar with some herbs. Impossible burger - almost the same as in BK. The host was attentive but messed up a couple of things. The worst part - the loudness of the music. It's totally annoying, we barely could talk. And then they put on some weird, eerie sounds for a good 5 minutes among other songs?!! Finally live music started and it was even louder, so we gave up. I don't believe we will be back

Didn’t really have a pleasant time here on Friday night. Our waiter seemed uninterested in serving, ended up getting one of our two orders incorrect, seemed very skeptical of my ID and didn’t seem to have the patience with my foreign friends visiting out of town, translating to eachother about the menu/beer. His presence made me feel unwelcomed and wanting to leave asap. On top of the that, the food was mediocre and sadly my beer was left unfinished, it wasn’t anything fancy. I don’t think I’ll be heading back here anytime soon.

If you’re the kind of person who enjoys flat soda, a luxurious 30+ minute wait for a reheated pretzel, and then an additional hour for a chicken salad so soggy it could qualify as soup, **boy do I have the restaurant for you.** Craving Mac and cheese? Perfect! For the low, low price of $18 you, too, can experience something that tastes suspiciously like a $1.99 box of Barilla cavatappi sprinkled with disappointment. And let’s not forget the tender order—because apparently they did. But don’t worry! When you politely mention the issues to your server, you’ll be rewarded with a world-class shrug before she wanders off into the sunset. Truly magical. All of this happened on a day when the restaurant was practically empty, so I can only imagine the chaos when it’s actually busy. **10/10 do not recommend

I went there on Friday night with my girlfriend to see my friends comedy show and was appalled. No one was at the door to direct us where to sit down, we had to go to the bar and ask the bartender where to sit, then after we sat the waitress completely ignored me over and over as I asked for a food menu, instead she kept looking at my girlfriend and kept asking her instead of me if I was going to finish my water bottle or if she had to throw it away on repeat like a broken record. Never received a food menu. I looked the waitress in the face and asked her if she was seriously ignoring me and she just stared blankly and kept repeating her self to my girlfriend if I was going to finish my water bottle or she was going to throw it away instead of answering my simple question. We stood up and walked out. TERRIBLE SERVICE. THAT WAITRESS SHOULD BE FIRED IMMEDIATELY. I WILL NEVER GO BACK THERE. BAD VIBES ALL AROUND. The sound was so bad I couldn’t even hear the bands singer singing the vocals of the cover song they were playing. TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE ACROSS THE BOARD ZERO STARS
