Primo Burgers in Quartz Hill is known for friendly service and large portions, especially breakfast burritos and onion rings. However, drive-thru wait times can be slow, prices are perceived as high, and order accuracy is sometimes an issue. Some customers have reported inconsistent food quality.

Stopped here late afternoon on mother's day , had my little one with me, didn't want to come home and cook. Ordered carne asada fries and a kids meal, young guy at the window (maybe 18) was an absolute angel and wished me a happy mother's day as he handed me my order. He had absolutely no obligation to even acknowledge it, very sweet!
I had hearty breakfast burrito. It was good. Reasonable prices. Order at the counter and they bring your food out to your table. Didn't have to wait long.
Every time we go in there it is always clean and staff very friendly. Food always good and hot. Nice atmosphere. Especially love the Hash Brown breakfast special. Great deal better than any fast food.
I love their breakfast burritos for breakfast and for dinner I enjoy the shrimp plater or a avocado bacon burger 😁
We went to have the onion rings because my hubby was craving that. They were very crunchy and delicious 😋 The ladies behind the counter greeted us with a warm “good morning”, took our order and delivered it to our table. It was great. We had an order of onion rings and a medium coffee. A great experience. 👍👍
I love this place and pricing is good, but there is definitely something wrong with the potatoes 🤔
More than a great burger joint. Friendly staff. Would be 5 stars ,but they keep raising their prices.
Called in the order gave specific instructions on hamburger I live five minutes down the street not for sure if the patty was pre-cooked, but the patty was cold sloppy sandwich. This is the second time visiting this location and been dissatisfied with the food.
I ordered Primo Burger’s pastrami and honestly… what the heck is a wet pastrami? Pastrami is supposed to be grilled and dry, not swimming in whatever mystery marinade this was. The bread completely fell apart, turning the whole sandwich into a soggy mess. I don’t know what they’re soaking the meat in, but it overpowers everything and ruins the texture. Pastrami doesn’t need reinventing—just grill the pastrami. That’s it. Simple. Classic. This experience is exactly why, when I want a real pastrami sandwich, I go to Tom’s. They get it right.
I went to the drive through today just because I was craving some French fries. They are listed at 4.99 on the menu, ok. But I get to the window and was told it would be 7.68 for French Fries! How did it get to almost 8 dollars? I kept on driving.
I don't know why I keep coming back to this spot. They constantly mess up our drive thru orders, every single time I've gone here. Just ordered 2 pastrami sandwich combos, drove all the way home, just to find out they gave me 2 breakfast burritos. Pastrami combos cost way more than a breakfast burrito. Also, why does the lady *heavy set w. blonde hair* taking the order try to be so fast? I was still saying my order and she cuts me off and asks is that all? I told her no, I'm still ordering. When I went to the window she had attitude and handed my food to me aggressive and closed the window. Instead of trying to rush a busy drive thru where there's cars waiting infront of the person ordering, SLOW down, listen to the order and take it down correctly so you don't mess up the orders. Just because you're being fast doesn't mean you're being accurate. If she doesn't like her job, do something else.
Saddest excuse of Hot Wings I have ever seen. $10+tax for the 8 smallest wings you could possibly serve, my thumb was bigger an thicker than most of the wings. Not only that, but the wing sauce wasn't even flavorful just Vinegary not hot at all. If you can do something right then why do it. Over priced for what you get.
My family of 8 has eaten at Primo Burger regularly over the last 3 years that we have lived in this area. However, they have lost me and my family as a customer. I purchased my daughter a cheeseburger combo meal. I was given a single receipt for a single charge. The next morning I noticed in my bank app that I had been charged for the combo twice. I called Primo and explained. They said the second charge could be a bank hold and to call them back when I confirm that I am charged both transactions. The next morning, I see that both transactions posted confirming that I was charged twice. I then called Primo back, per their request the day before, and again explained the situation. After explaining, they asked if I called the bank to dispute, and I said no because the day before you requested that I call you. They asked me if I wanted to go through the bank or have them refund me and I said it would be easier for you to refund me and I'll be there shortly. When I arrive, they immediately begin to give me an attitude for showing up. They state that they can't just refund me and I need to dispute the charge through my bank. I then question why they offered to refund me and allowed me to drive over there if they weren't going to refund me. They continued to argue with me and take zero accountability, and did not even try to make it right that I wasted my time driving there, even though I was following the advice that they gave me. I had no issue disputing the charge through the bank, my issue is that I followed their advice and then they give me an attitude for following their advice. Not only did I never receive an apology from them for double charging me, they didn't apologize for the having me drive over there. They could've owned it and acted like it was a miscommunication issue. Instead, the woman justifies double charging me by mentioning that they use hand written manual tickets and it happens sometimes. A gesture of a coffee or a soda would've gone a long way to easing the situation as I stood there. I was treated as if I was the problem. Before leaving I asked to speak with the manager, Juan, and I was told that he would not be in until 1pm and to call after 1pm. I called literally 1:02pm and was told that he left for the day. My family truly enjoys Primo, and we try to avoid corporate restaurants. Due to the size of our family, we can easily spend $50-$70 there sometimes. However, they now have lost a customer over the mishandling of a single cheeseburger meal. We will be looking for a new burger place.
I had a terrible experience at this location tonight. The posted closing time, both online and at the restaurant, is 9:00 p.m. I arrived at the drive-thru at 8:50 p.m., saw other cars in the lot, the lights were on, and employees were visible inside, so I assumed I was still in time. I've ordered around this time before without issue. While their "OPEN" sign was off (which I've noticed is often the case after dark, even within their posted hours), I didn't think much of it. Instead of a greeting, I was rudely told by the female employee at the window that they were closed. When I pointed out that it was only 8:50 p.m. and their closing time is 9:00 p.m., she sarcastically replied that they stop serving food at 8:50 p.m., and have "always" done so. This information is not posted anywhere. To the owner: If your staff consistently stops serving food before the posted closing time, please update your hours to reflect the actual service times. Falsely advertising your hours is misleading and drives away customers. It also suggests a lack of respect for your customers and perhaps a need for better staff training or management. There are plenty of people who would appreciate and do well in these positions, and would follow the actual hours of operation, resulting in a better customer experience. This experience was incredibly disappointing, especially after a long day when I was just hoping for a quick meal.
Food is overpriced for just a dry overcooked pastrami sandwich and 50/50 fries and onion rings over $40 and waitress had an attitude when I mentioned that. How do they get away with this not gonna go there anymore
I usually love this place, however my last visit there will be my last. Had to work extra this weekend and decided to get a breakfast burrito on the way. Halfway through the burrito I bit into what I assumed was a really weird hash brown. Pulled it out of my mouth and I was horrified to find a sewing needle. I have no idea why a sewing needle would even be in a kitchen environment. I immediately called the store and was told to text pictures to a number and the manager would get ahold of me. It has been almost 3 full days and there has been no response to the pictures I sent. I messaged them again with still no response. Something like this can seriously injure someone and it seems like this particular primo does not take things like this seriously. At the very least give me my money back. I will never go here again and if they just want to ignore the issue then I will take it a step further.
