I’m a frequent patron of Raven’s Nest but I felt compelled to finally write a review tonight after witnessing atrocious behavior from a customer who refused to leave and then went home and wrote an unfair review. Raven’s Nest offers a uniquely upscale and elegant atmosphere while still providing a warm and welcoming vibe. It is family owned and operated which is evident in the love and thoughtfulness that goes into the food as well as the attentiveness of the staff. The menu is creative and daring for an area where most people consider chain restaurants fine dining. I can always find a delicious vegetarian option, and my bf, who considers himself a ceviche connoisseur, says theirs is the absolute best. No one we’ve dined with has ever had a dish that wasn’t excellent! Please note the negative review likely below this one was written by someone who arrived drunk and had to pick his wife up from the floor on the way out. If you want the same steak and potato you’ve had your entire life, go to a different restaurant. If you want to try something new and inspired, in a restaurant with great ambience, come to the Raven’s Nest.
Ravens Nest is a little hidden bestro near the Antelope Acers. It has the ambiance of Gothic meet Roman times in a modern age infused. The interior is that of black and a rose red color with the decore looking simple and elegant at the same time. It also has a touch of some old school pictures reverting back to the 20's 30's Era. It is an upper-class scale that is opened for only 4 hrs. When you eat here come with deep pockets. Not only that, the food would Entice you to buy more. Their menu is easy to obtain by going onto the website or simply scanning your phone on a QR Code on the table. Now for the food which is the best part! I found this restaurant initially through my mom, who heard from a friend. So my wife and I decided to try it out not only once but we went twice. The waiters and waitresses are very tentative and on point, as you would expect from fine dining. I had ordered the chef special, which was brazen lamb shanks it's not on the menu, but it is very delicious. It had a combination of a cream tomato butter sauce that was infused with some parsley, and the meat was so tender it fell right off the bone. If there was at all any complaints about this dish is that, the tomato sauce was overpowering. I also ordered their house sangria wine, which was with natural ingredient. However, wine tastes too cheap, and I would not order it again. My wife had ordered the Greek lamb chops cooked rare to medium rare. The sauce combination was equivalent to a white wine with a little hint of Himalayan salt, lemon, parsley thyme, and garlic. My wife had ordered a hibiscus tea which was one of the best hibiscus tea's I've ever tried and I would recommend if you're tea lover, order the hibiscus tea you won't regret it very smooth, very fruity and well balanced. The 2nd time we went there, which is today, I ordered a different dish it was a pasta called Petriello. The noodles were purple, very unique, and cooked to perfection. The presentation was organized with parsley that was all over the top of the pasta. There were red cherry tomatoes, and the yellow sweet tomatoes gave it a savory sweet taste. The sauce in it was creamy tasted like it had some sort of guda cheese and vodka flavored. There was a lot of Italian sausage as well, which I thought was overpowering the pasta, and after a while, it tasted like salt was taking over. I find myself having to take the wine I had ordered to help wash it down. The wine is called "The Moon." It is a persecco lavender, rose infused spritzer. Which was sweet savory and had a flavor of chimoy sprinkled on the edge of the wine glass. Which I would be ordering again perfect wine. If you decide to get the lamb Shanks or the Greek lamb, I suggest presecco or riesling. Great pair! And lastly, the lobster roll. The lobster roll was an appetizer that we tried out was very sweet and savory had that lobster taste that you would expect. The aolí sauce was creamy and went well with the roll that was also on a lightly toast bread roll. We will be eating here again!
I went here for my birthday! Great service, great food and great drinks! I will be going back! 10/10 Definitely would recommend! I just moved here a few months ago but definitely one of my favorite places in Lancaster so far!
Ok. If you have not been to @theravensnest__ you are definitely missing out. Great drinks, great food, great dessert! Even @ally_juni enjoyed everything! Had some Mojitos, the million dollar brussel sprouts, a Prime Time pizza, the skirt steak, the carbonara, and then the peanut butter chocolate cake and the salted caramel crunch cake. Everything was delicious. Must try 😋😋😋
Nice Friday night dinner date with friends! Our 1st time at this place. Wait time was shorter than told. We were seated within 20 minutes. Staff was really professional and nice. The food was great! I had the loch ness monster pasta and my husband had The mark of the Beast. He really enjoyed until he talked about his food the entire weekend. We will definitely go again! Worth every$$$
My wife and I come here often and we love the food the atmosphere and the very friendly people. Foods are big portions and pricing is very reasonable. The food and presentation is absolutely beautiful. Great for photos but even better for the taste. And the drinks!!! So beautiful and colorful with so much mystery. Thank you Ravens nest we have a place that we love and it’s local.
Food was delicious(even though they forgot part of the meal until I was almost finished eating), support staff and atmosphere was great but sadly our server seemed like he preferred hanging out with the hosts than attending to his guests, normally tip 30-50% for a place like this but I ended up tipping the receipt suggested 22%...
The food was so good! I hadn't realized how long its been since I've tried something new and loved it. The drinks were tasty and beautiful. I had the ribeye and 85 dollars and let me tell you. It was worth it. The service was great. Someone was always coming around to top our water. We definitely will make the long drive back out there again.
What a delightful new favorite restaurant spot! Everything was perfect--the food, the service, the atmosphere. Absolutely enchanting! I ordered the clam chowder (my new favorite soup); the truffle, honey, mushroom, and brie cheese flatbread (amazing), and the star of the show for me was the goat cheese tortellinis. That was one of the best dishes I have ever enjoyed hands down. The flavors were so complex and my mouth is drooling right now as I am thinking about it. The cook(s) know(s) what they are doing in the back and it shows!! This was truly a 5 star experience. I will absolutely be back many more times. Thank you SO much! I am so honored to have tasted your food. <3
Such a nice surprise. Hubby brought me here for our wedding anniversary plopped right next to another couple who were celebrating theirs. The food was excellent. This is a unique and low key setting. Restaurant is run by three siblings. They also own Fresca II. VERY GOOD FOOD. MUST TRY. Service was amazing and friendly staff too! Loved the experience! Celebrate your next celebration here with quality food and cool atmosphere. Pricey but absolutely worth it. Great value in quality.
The ravens nest was so awesome and so cool perfect for a Halloween adventure and also all year long with great Gothic vibes and also the food was amazing if you like pastas or different kind of dishes, you won’t be disappointed. They have different diversity dishes ! Mediterranean/ Italian style dining family owned. You will not be disappointed.! Oh yeah, and the dessert was awesome The drinks were amazing. I got the blood moon and also Harvest moon Super delicious ! The chocolate walnut brownie was delicious. I added a side of gelato vanilla ice cream.
Just went here for Valentines Day special. Wow, food, service, & atmosphere 5 stars. Every server is amazing, even the owners comes to table and say hello. Treat yourself to unique and fine dining everything is off charts already planning brunch soon! Our new fave spot in the AV!
We had a delightful evening with family! The drinks were innovative and unexpectedly delicious…. Smoky bourbon…. Illuminated Aquarious. The food- outstanding. You can’t go wrong with the pasta! Each dish was delicious. The salmon with broccolini was amazing…. We will be back!
So thankful to have a dining experience like this available in the AV. Rotating, seasonal menus. Strong cocktails, generous on the liquor. The food is always great. We’ve experienced 3 rotations of their menu. Dark, moody, gothic atmosphere. Excellent service from all of their staff. We always come back for special occasions that we can’t leave town for or if we have guests that want to dine out. Anything we bring home as leftovers always gets eaten, never wasted. A gem of a restaurant.
First experience and it was wonderful! Great ambiance, food, and overall vibe. Food portions are big so definitely good to share! The staff are professional, attentive, and very kind. They made great recommendations. Greatly appreciated the service and seeing how helpful and consistent they are to all customers. Highly recommended!
Food Quality * Service Quality * Atmosphere /Ambiance * Cleanliness and overall experience was amazing! Dinning at The Ravens Nest was delightful. Everything was super organic, natural and mystical! Every sip and bite was just out of this world! The goth elegance inside this restaurant is beautiful. Must! Must! Stop by! Thank you Kat, Amalia and Lenny for making me and my family feel at home. Can’t wait to go back again.
OMG Love Love and did I say LOVE!!!! This place is amazing GREAT FOOD leaves you wanting more. Incredible cocktails, they even create a drink specially for you! Atmosphere 2nd to none, like stepping into another realm. I can't help but keep going back for more. Customer for life. Staff are friendly accommodating and 10 star customer service
I had heard great things about the Ravens Nest but nothing could have prepared me for the incredible meal that was prepared for us. Not only was the service amazing and the atmosphere fun and relaxing all in one but the food was actually incredible. I can honestly say I had the best steak of my life tonight. The prices made me hold my breath hoping not to be disappointed but after a bite of our meals the price was well worth it. We had lobster ravioli, surf and turf and a seafood appetizer with The Ravens Nest French toast for dessert. Not one thing was a disappointment. Would 100% recommend
This place was amazing. My friend and eyelash pro Maria Luevano from Luevano & Co. kept suggesting me to try The Raven’s Nest restaurant. I was so pleased with atmosphere, food, service which surpassed my expectations. My husband and I went to celebrate our anniversary. We had an amazing time there. Lenny was amazing, his sister Kay made the drinks so mesmerizing (delicious by the way) and their sister Amalia who is the chef is outstanding. Sorry for the half eaten cannoli, took the picture late. Will definitely go again.
The wonderful staff here went above and beyond to make sure our proposal went off beautifully. The service, the food, the vibe was incredible and they really put their heart and soul into making it an unbelievable experience. I'm so grateful for all the effort they put into our special night, truly a diamond in the rough here in Lancaster. I can't wait to be back. Thank you to all the staff, especially Amelia, for a lovely night.
We loved the whole vibe. We were welcomed and got our table right away. Everyone from the servers, bar tender, hostess and people running food were very professional. Restrooms were clean. Food was delicious, I think prices were just a little high but worth it. We are definitely coming back.
I went again with a group of 6. Everything on point. I paid for everyone's bill. I didn't even mind because everyone enjoyed the food so much. The Raven's Nest is the best place to eat in the AV! A good place for dates too. The Gothic aesthetic is beautiful. Plus, it isn't well lit so does provide some intimacy. I've been there a few times. The food and drinks are consistently good, varied, & unique. They have great, tasty vegetarian & vegan options. Not too many though, so look up their menu beforehand if you're picky. Some of their offerings are seasonal, so they're constantly changing their menu. Please get the bread & garlic butter when you go. Delicious. All the potions I've tried from them are awesome and awesome looking. I love the Fentimans sodas they have. Good beer selection. I'm happy with the sours they've had. The deserts have always been great. Now the cherry on top, the staff. They have some of the best staff I have ever across my whole foodie life. They always make my visit better. Everything their doing, they're doing right. Keep it up, Raven's Nest. If I remember correctly, The Raven's Nest has fed first responders during the local fires. These are the local businesses we should uplift.
This was Date Night, and our first visit to The Raven's Nest. It absolutely will not be our last. Everything..... everything was fantastic. The service (Harmony was so gracious and patient with us); the cocktails (Kat is an artist and true mixologist); the food.....it was like a party on our palate with each bite. The grilled octopus; beet salad (I could make a meal of this alone - it was that good); my husband had the Steak Frite and hot honey carrots and said it was the best; but I'd argue that nothing could top the lamb chops. Do you get the idea that I loved it? hehehehehe 😋😊
Took me a few years but finally made it over here. Hummus 🔥, kale salad & 🍕 were good, the crust on the pizza 🤤. Some of the tastiest food I've had up here. House IPA was really tasty 🍻. I personally would like a little more liquor & balance in the cocktail I had. Service was great!! I look forward to Sunday brunch soon 😋
My sister and I were fortunate enough to find this restaurant a few years ago and it's been our go-to place for celebrations and family get-togethers ever since. Amazing quality food, super friendly employees, unforgettable potions, and of course the must-experience atmosphere makes Raven's Nest a new favorite to everyone we have introduced to it. We are so grateful we can get this kind of experience in the AV and we can't recommend this restaurant enough!
Place was BUZZING! The vibe when you first walk in is great. Smells like palo santo and sage. Dark and moody atmosphere, great customer service. Ordered the squid, artichoke and a meatball pizza. All of the food items were absolutely delicious. We drove all the way from Burbank to try this place. HIGHLY recommended.
Walking into The Raven’s Nest feels like stepping into a beautifully curated Poe fever dream—dim, dramatic, and scented with palo santo. The drinks are outstanding: thoughtful, bold, and crafted like they belong in a gothic novel themselves. If you like your cocktails dark, clever, and a little seductive, this is your place. Let’s talk about the food. You come for the moody vibes, stay because Chef Amalia’s Italian menu absolutely refuses to miss. Handmade pastas, family pizza recipes, and food that tastes like tradition—with a little gothic gourmet baked in. Special thank you to Emily and Lenny for being incredible hosts. We will see you again soon! 🐦⬛🖤
It took us a while to finally go try this place and now we can't stay away! Food is on another level and service and atmosphere are great! You definitely have to try the Sunday brunch as well! Everything we have tried has been excellent!!
Food and service and the drinks were great. It was only a 100 plus because of everything that I ordered, but great prices. Great portions and great vibes.
Ambiance was unique inside, the patio was very pleasant too. Our drinks and appetizer were great. I was a little disappointed in the miso corn carbonara, not a ton of flavor but still good. The pizzas looked great, I would definitely try that next time.
We've tried different menu items on our visits and I can honestly say I cannot decide on a favorite, everything is delicious! The drinks are incredible 😋
OMG! Ravens Nest NEVER disappoints! It's always a team effort when it comes to the staff but tonight (September 13 2025),I want to highlight Jolie and Frankie. Jolie is a gorgeous version of Wednesday with the perfect persona and Frankie was amazing with his recommendations and his drink of choice for me. Which by the way, I didn't get the name, but i did take a picture. The food, AS ALWAYS, was flavorful and cooked to perfection. Props to the entire staff.... including Susanna. IYKYK🫶😊 Side note: I have too many reviews for Ravens nest on my other Google account so I had to use this one. Ha ha
I had both soups on a rainy day and they nailed both. The pozole is as hearty as a hug from grandma with succulent chicken and citrus notes in every gulp. The French onion soup had a ridiculous cheese pull and sensational red wine flavor.
My husband and I always choose the Ravens Nest as our celebration restaurant. It is 2 hours from where we live, but it is always worth the drive! The grilled octopus was my favorite food item last night, and the cheesecake was delicious even though I couldn't eat another bite! Lol The staff is always great, but last night, they went above and beyond to help with our intimate gender reveal! We are so thankful to everyone who made a special moment everything and more. This was best birthday gift I could've ever asked for, thank you all again ❤️.
Came here for the first time this place was nice the vibe was amazing really enjoyed mines and my husband date nite prices was reasonable food we tried was delicious great place to come for date night

With friendly staff and delicious food and drinks, this place quickly became our favorite spot.
Fooled by the restaurant’s location and vibe I avoided it believing it to be an interesting, if a bit niche, goth Denny’s. It’s a deal of a lot more than that: it’s home to creative modern European dishes with an excellent wine list, superb service, and outstanding value for money. A huge thank you to Frankie for making our date night a fascinating, fresh experience!
As someone who visits The Raven’s Nest often, I can confidently say it’s one of my favorite spots in Lancaster. Every visit feels familiar and welcoming, and the atmosphere never disappoints — cozy, inviting, and full of personality. The staff are consistently friendly and attentive, and they really make you feel like a regular rather than just another customer. The quality is always spot-on, whether it’s the food, drinks, or overall service, and everything is served with care and attention to detail. What keeps me coming back is the vibe — relaxed, comfortable, and perfect for catching up with friends or just unwinding after a long day. It’s a place that never gets old and always delivers a great experience. If you’re looking for a reliable go-to spot in Lancaster, The Raven’s Nest is it. Highly recommended!
Raven’s Nest is truly a one of a kind gothic dining experience that absolutely does not disappoint. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere pulls you into another worlddark, elegant, and beautifully immersive. Every detail, from the decor, lighting, into the Twilight Zone, is thoughtfully crafted to create a vibe that’s both mysterious and luxurious. The food is just as impressive. Each dish is rich in flavor, artfully presented, and perfectly aligned with the theme. You can tell the chef takes pride in her craft. The drinks are equally stunning & creative, bold, and unlike anything you’ll find elsewhere, thank you Kat for the best drinks! What really sets Raven’s Nest apart, though, is the service. The staff is attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about making your experience special. They create a perfect balance between professionalism and personality. If you’re looking for a dining experience that stands out from the ordinary—something atmospheric, memorable, and delicious—Raven’s Nest is the place. I highly recommend it and will definitely be returning. A true gem.
Amazing little place! Every person we encountered in this restaurant was so nice. The food and atmosphere was great. Both of our steaks were cooked to perfection and the portions are pretty big. I can’t believe we’ve lived out here our whole lives and have never gone till now. It is a little pricey so keep that in mind but you get what you pay for. There was two of us and both got steaks, 1 got salad, 1 got soup, 2 sodas and 1 cannoli to share and the bill was $230 after tip we left spending $280

First time here. Hard to find creative food in the AV. This place was a pleasant surprise. I had meat balls, frisée salad and cacio e Pepe. The pasta dish was 6-7 but A for effort. Meatballs and salad were very good. Also pomegranate Italian soda was delish!
Such a cute place & I like the music. One drink got me feeling pretty good & the food was really good! I will definitely be coming back! & our waitress was super nice! & their drinks & food change every few months so there is new stuff to try often! A tad bit expensive but overall I will come back!
Went for Sunday brunch. 1st time going and loved the unique vibe. Service was a bit slow but friendly. Started with the Mind Control which was super tasty and finished with the classic breakfast. It was just ok. My GF got the Benedict and really enjoyed it. Would come again to try dinner. Came back a second time and it was so worth it!
We went here for our Anniversary tonight and it was spectacular! The Scallop appetizer was beyond amazing. The Carbonara pasta and the 22oz Angus Ribeye were delicious. The service was impeccable and I really think...or want to think....that the staff all love their restraunt, they act like it and exude professionalism. Also love the ambiance and the music. The absolute only thing I wish could be better would be if they had an open bar, not just signature drinks. Definitely coming back!!
Love the vibe! Great ppl and atmosphere. Not alot of vegetarian or vegan plates. More on the pricier side but love this place.
If Goth has a taste this is how I would think goth food would taste. It’s a very interesting place; definitely for taking a date to wow 🤩 them. The food is artistically beautiful on the plate; servers are nice, the music was way too loud for it being a goth lair type of look. The diablo shrimp scampi was pleasantly hot 🥵 but a very nice hot, it clears the nose but not make mouth burn like fire. Definitely paying for atmosphere; the food is decent. If going for an art show for dinner; great place. It’s worth checking out at least once. The outdoor patio is really nice; they have wind barriers and it’s a quiet side.

To be honest the place is overpriced for the food but the service is good. When I see the word Gothic I think of gloom, dreary, sad, dark, bleak, lifeless, and not interesting, but the bar area had crystals and the likes of a NEW AGE so I don't know how Gothic lighting/theme (SAD) mixes with New Age items (feeling happy). Once I arrived I saw the building sign read 'Gourment Gothic Resturant' below the name of the resturant and decided that this would not be my thing and was expecting everyone all dressed in gothic clothing when I entered (I like light). I still went in and gave the resturant a try because I recieve Marriot points for dining experiences and posting my review. Upon entering the place felt crowded they do need a bigger resturant for the amount of people there. Since it was only myself I sat at the bar. I order a Pedroncelli Four Grapes Vintage which was great tasting Port wine can't mess that up but they could fill the glass up for a $10 a glass. I wanted to order a good meal but I couldn't justify ordering GREEK LAMB CHOPS at $52, so I just decided to order the PRIME TIME pizza at $25. It took about probably 15 mins for my pizza to arrive and was dissapointed with the overly cooked looking crust that look burnt and thought this is the gothic theme pizza so I guess maybe they are going to make there pizza look as such. I took a bite of the pizza and the taste was just way off, it was sour and sweet but not in a good way and kind of tasted like they used chedder mixed with mozarella. There was only about only 6 pieces of pineapple on the whole pizza. It was not appetizing but I was hungry didn't want to waste my money. It was more of a $12 pizza.
My mom has been hyping this place up since she visited for her anniversary a few months ago. She and my dad loved the lamb chops and said the "drinks are amazing." With that being said, I couldn't wait to visit one day. So, when my birthday came around, she wanted to take me here for my birthday dinner. I wanted KBBQ, but chose this instead because I didn’t want to upset my mom. I wish I had chosen KBBQ instead. 🥲 **The food:** I can't recall the names of the dishes we ordered, but I remember that neither my mom nor I cared for them, which sucks because I had such high hopes. My dish was basically pan-seared white fish over rice and veggies. My mom's dish was some kind of chicken over veggies and grains. The presentation of the food was 💯, but the taste is where it lacked (NO FLAVOR PROFILE) for both dishes. I did let the staff know in a polite way that I didn’t care for the dish and ordered something different (still flavorless). The only reason I'm giving the food 3/5 is that the bruschetta bread was so fresh and amazing 😋. It came topped with Romaine, tomatoes, balsamic, and maybe a topping or two more but still overall it was 10/10. **The drinks (potions):** Are 1000/10, so good I would go back just for the bruschetta and drinks. Again, I can’t remember the names of the drinks. I had three different ones, all 10s. And yes, they do get you tipsy off the first drink 😂. Highly recommend for happy hour or a pick-me-up. Overall, I would go back only for drinks and appetizers. 😋
My wife and I truly love this place — the theme, the atmosphere, and the menu are usually excellent, which makes this experience even more disappointing. The dish I ordered was overwhelmingly acidic, as if it had an excessive amount of lemon. It was so strong that my palate started to burn and my teeth became extremely sensitive. This wasn’t just a matter of preference — it was physically uncomfortable to eat. I called the waiter and respectfully explained that I could not tolerate the flavor. They simply took the plate away without offering an apology, an explanation, or any attempt to resolve the issue. What disappointed me the most was the lack of concern. There was no acknowledgment from the chef or management. When a customer expresses physical discomfort from a dish, it should be taken seriously. We are actually returning tomorrow because we genuinely enjoy this restaurant, but I hope they take feedback like this more seriously in the future — not just for us, but for other guests as well. Customer care matters just as much as good food.
I was very disappointed with the food, our table got 3 different pastas, one being the famous "diablo pasta" And they where all very watery, the diablo tasted like Franks red hot sauce with water, it was not good at all the other two where not that great, the drinks we had to get them fixed because they where tasteless, I expected high end food but got low budget food, the prices where way to high for what we got in exchange. I would not recommend this place at all.
