Always fresh tasting food. Good portion size and friendly staff. Their vegetarian samosas are my favorite. Highly recommended place
Their attention to both food and atmosphere pays off. You can taste they select what's best in season. The restaurant has an appealing setup. The personnel provided excellent customer care and the meals were superior. This spot delivered on all fronts.
Usually I come here with family for dinner and when looking at venues to host a party I was skeptical about booking here since it’s so beautiful i thought it would be out of my price range. I was pleasantly surprised with the price we paid. They have different packages and currently range from 45-55 per person which is incredibly priced. Food, cutlery and services are built into the price which I was unable to find for so cheap! Everyone complimented the food. Saba especially was so knowledgeable and kind during the whole process and made the stress of planning an event so much easier! She was very attentive and listened to and accommodated many requests we had with ease. Highly recommend for parties as well as for dining in.
Nice neighborhood Persian restaurant located next to Horace Harding. They have a decent sized menu with a lot to offer. The mantoo was delicious as were our kabab dishes. Eggplant was soft and warm served up with delicious bread. They also have a space for private parties if you're interested.
We are exchange students from Denmark currently studying in San Diego, but we decided to take a short trip to New York – and we’re so glad we came across Patoug Persian Cuisine! This place truly exceeded all our expectations. It was, without a doubt, some of the best Persian food we have ever tasted. We ordered their skewered dishes, which were perfectly cooked – juicy, tender, and packed with flavor. Everything was served with delicious sides that completed the meal beautifully. The desserts were just as incredible. We had their baklava and firni, and both were simply outstanding. The sweetness was perfectly balanced, and it was the ideal way to end such an amazing meal. The atmosphere in the restaurant was as delightful as the food. The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming, making us feel right at home from the moment we walked in. It felt like dining with family. The prices were also very reasonable, especially considering the high quality of the food and service. It’s clear that they go above and beyond to give their guests the best possible experience. We can’t recommend this place enough! If you’re looking for authentic Persian food in New York, Patoug Persian Cuisine is an absolute must. Thank you for an unforgettable experience – we can’t wait to come back! 5/5 stars 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
I recently dined at Patoug Persian Cuisine and was thoroughly impressed. The restaurant offers an authentic Persian dining experience, with a warm and inviting atmosphere that immediately sets the tone for a memorable meal. 😋😋 The menu features a wide array of traditional Persian dishes, each prepared with fresh, high-quality ingredients. The service was attentive and knowledgeable, providing excellent recommendations that enhanced the overall experience. The standout dish was the tender, flavorful kebabs, perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection. Patoug Persian Cuisine is a true gem, offering a delightful culinary journey into Persian culture. Highly recommended for an exceptional dining experience. 🤩🤩
Patoug Persian Cuisine offers an exceptional dining experience with its delicious and fresh food. The flavors are authentic and the ingredients are top-notch. The service is outstanding, with staff who are attentive and friendly. It's a perfect spot for anyone looking to enjoy high-quality Persian cuisine. Highly recommended!
I come here for the food as the food is amazing. I wish I could put 6 stars it is really incredible!! The service I have mixed feelings about. Why do they refuse to give bread before we order? Are they afraid we will eat the bread and then leave without paying? Does that happen a lot? Seems like they didn’t think that policy through all the way. Not a fan. Also one of the workers was wearing gloves to bus tables and throw away garbage but then used same gloves hands to bring food to our table. A bit off putting. But honestly the food is to die for. So delicious!!! I especially recommend the Gourmet Sabzi which is the green stew made with kidney beans and chunks of lamb or beef. They make it better than any Iranian restaurant I’ve ever been to. Even better than my mom made it when I was growing up!!!!! Especially when it’s served over Tadiq (crispy rice from the bottom of the pot) it is just amazing. The yogurt sauce they serve with the bread is so good not only to dip bread but to have with each bite of your meal too!!!! Don’t forget to order with their special Persian rice options, not just plain rice. They have one with dried sour cherries, one with Lima beans, and another with tiny raisins. All of them are so good!!!
I couldn't resist any longer and finally decided to give this restaurant a try. The beef koobideh was absolutely divine - juicy, and flavorful. The service I received was great, and what surprised me even more were the reasonable prices for the generous portions. If you're longing for authentic Persian Afghan cuisine, this place is a must-visit. You'll get to savor the delightful nuances of these flavorful cuisines. Trust me, you won't be disappointed!
Came here with my partner because we were craving Persian Food. We were the only ones there since they were close to closing but we didn't let the banquet hall intimidate us because the host and server were so sweet and welcoming. And the food was just as fresh and amazing. Their Sambuseh (dumpling) tastes incredible. My partner had the shishlik and I got the albaloo polo with jujeh. Great dishes. This is a nice place to have food for any occasion: casual or semi-formal.
Celebrating a Birthday looking for a unique experience we found this cozy little restaurant right off the Horace Harding Expwy. They were setting up for an event so we were seated off to the side. We were greeted well, the staff was very attentive too. We mentioned a nut allergy to our waitress who took note, from there we really didn't have much questions so we ordered. There was a basic store bought bottled and canned drinks/tea only the coffee seemed to be Turkish. Our meals were brought out hot, well presented and we're well portioned. Everything tasted great. For dessert we had Baklava and Bastini - Persian ice cream. I saw on the menu the gratuity would be included, which caught me off guard, but it made sense by the time the bill came.(we are a party of five) Now because there wasn't a bar option, it was more of a casual dining. I'd definitely order to go & enjoy this delicious food at home.
the food is good but way overpriced for the portion size. service is slow and terrible (we were 1 of 3 tables in the entire restaurant). we were served on the metal dish that comes out of the oven, no plates. no glasses for soda. sorry i am not returning until they correct prices. If they dont fix prices, they will be out of business. I went on a Friday night there was barely 2-3 tables. too expensive. mind you we were six people ordered main dishes and 2 apps and soda.
Quantity of food went down, prices went up, customer service has significantly fell off. If you place an order to go over the phone, expect to wait in person 15-30 min minimum as they will only prepare your food once you’re physically there. Long time customer, will no longer be coming here.
OMFG!!! My family and I went there and the service was just absolutely terrible. The food literally took an hour and thirty minutes to come. It was freaking insane. The servers were so rude. Did not bring plates or utensils to eat the food nor the bread to eat the hummus. Meat was undercooked for the most part. The falafel was overcooked. They ran out of mantu and no crispy rice. The one servers yelled at us because there were kids with us and they were running out and mind you the store was empty and we were the only ones there. DO NOT COME HERE NOT WORTH THE DRIVE SAFE YOUR MONEY AND GAS.
