The unique location, in a fantastic aquatic and natural setting, on Europe's longest resurgence river, the scents of the Sile River pampered us throughout the sublime evening. It's a shame about the noisy planes that often fly overhead. A beautiful and delicious dinner. Congratulations, everything was excellent. A special thanks to the waiters, two very talented and attentive young men. The cuisine enchanted us. The coffee is very good. The final carillon gave me great emotion. Next time I'll order a hundred or so breadsticks to take away. Thanks to Rosta. You guys are great.
A charming location with a terrace overlooking the river offering breathtaking views (ducks and swans make it all super romantic), an elegant and meticulously maintained atmosphere. We visited for a pre-lunch aperitif and were immediately welcomed and seated at the terrace tables. Delicious Ascolana olives with truffle and cod cicchetti accompanied our cocktails. See you next time we explore the place over dinner.
A must-visit if you're passing through Treviso! A quaint restaurant with an old mill on display, the chef offers a constantly changing menu, expertly crafted and interpreted by the chef, and attentive service that truly puts the customer at the center of the experience. Also suitable for special occasions and celebrations, a choice that won't disappoint! Also worth trying are the themed tasting menu evenings (we were there last night and it's definitely a great place!)
My husband and I aren't from the area; we stumbled upon this little restaurant by chance and were pleasantly surprised! The atmosphere is truly unique... the dishes are delicious, beautifully presented, and the prices are absolutely reasonable for the quality of the food served. After a welcome appetizer, we sampled some excellent bread (made in the restaurant) with sublime olive oil... we then continued with some delicious spaghetti with tuna tartare, and finished with two delicious desserts! Giovanni and the entire staff will be delighted to guide you on this fantastic journey of tastings and a breathtaking location! We'll definitely be returning.
The experience at La Rosta was truly fantastic, making me want to return as soon as possible. The setting is extraordinary; we ate on the wonderful terrace overlooking the Sile River, with a beautiful view and, despite the season, no mosquitoes and a very pleasant breeze. The food was truly excellent, artfully prepared, with carefully chosen combinations for an excellent overall flavor, and excellent ingredients. I really want to try the other dishes on the menu. The staff were very knowledgeable, attentive, kind, courteous, and attentive, but never intrusive. The surrounding area is spectacular, and parking is easy and very close to the restaurant. A place I would happily return to many times, and one I'd love to bring friends and family for a wonderful evening. I recommend it to everyone.
We just came for an aperitif... We had a wonderful time!!! Everyone was very friendly, the location was beautiful, and especially the view from the terrace was fabulous. We had a drink called "Bosco Segreto" (Secret Forest). It was delicious. Our neighbor had a skewer of red prawns... delicious!!! We'll definitely be back, but only for dinner and to fully enjoy the location!
We wanted to try this new place, and finding Chef Marco Cavallin at the entrance was a wonderful feeling and a guarantee. He amazed and pampered us with his balanced and sophisticated pairings. The risotto with eel and cavolo nero was amazing...I don't know whether to call it beautiful or delicious (both), and the scampi catalana. Compliments for everything, the impeccable service, a bartender who delivers, opens and concludes a complete experience. The location is enchanting. The price is absolutely in line and fair for the quality of the ingredients and the service provided. Well done, well done, well done.
We stumbled upon this gem somewhat by chance, and were absolutely amazed by this little gem. 🥰 The place is absolutely charming, directly overlooking the Sile River with its beautiful terrace—a location that instantly puts you at peace with the world. The staff is highly trained and very attentive to their customers. The dishes are beautifully presented, with unusual yet fantastic combinations! In short, an experience you absolutely must have. The desserts are especially noteworthy!!! I'm often disappointed by dessert in restaurants because they always have the same old dishes, when considering the menu, you might expect more. Well, here, even the desserts are unique, thoughtful, and... incredible!!!
A refined and romantic venue. The service was truly friendly and professional. The staff was friendly and attentive. The prices were in line with the quality and service, so I found them fair, except for the slightly steep €4 cover charge. Excellent wine selection. I will return and highly recommend it.
Great patio looking over the river. Sublime food experience.
Extraordinary appetizers and first courses, almost at the level of J. Robuchon, an incredible balance that is difficult to find between flavors and density, refined and genuine. For the second courses and desserts, it is a real shame not to have been able to taste something at the level of the first course or appetizers. The setting is extraordinary, in a natural oasis with a shaded terrace, above the water that roars from a small difference in height, near an old mill from which, I suppose it takes the name of Rosta.
A splendid and elegant venue, with excellent sound management; everything was discreet and pleasant. I found the dishes truly excellent, especially the octopus I had as an appetizer. The staff is truly knowledgeable, kind, and attentive; despite being very young, they are extremely professional. The only downside was the temperature; it was really cold, and drafts blew right into our legs.
This place is definitely beautiful in the warmer months, allowing you to enjoy the view as it floats on the river. I found the staff to be very professional. The dishes combine traditional flavors with homemade breads. There's no shortage of "daring" pairings, but they're all pleasing to the palate. They're visually stunning and very tasty. The only downside, in my opinion, is that the room isn't adequately heated. Highly recommended.
An elegant and refined restaurant, open for about a year and a half, located inside an old mill on the Sile River, in Quinto di Treviso. The entrance to the restaurant is old-fashioned. It is a gourmet restaurant serving both seafood and freshwater fish (with quality ingredients), as well as an American bar. The interior decor is elegant and modern. The panoramic terrace overlooking the river and the surrounding lush greenery is breathtaking, lulled by the constant sound of the flowing water. We dined on the terrace, where the table lighting and the pleasant setting made the meal both romantic and delightful. The entrance hall featured baskets of goat cheese cream and pea soup. For starters, there were prawns in two textures, kataifi cannoli, and spicy radish cream; the cannoli were excellent. For the main course (the service interval was a bit long), baked turbot accompanied by baked potatoes, olives, and cherry tomatoes was also excellent. All washed down with sparkling rosé: Cruasè Extra Brut Oltrepò Pavese, Metodo Classico, Bruno Verdi. The wine list is well-stocked. You can also order by the glass, with quality options. For dessert, coconut cream, cocoa powder, and mint bavarois: an intriguing flavor, the minimalist yet sophisticated plating, accompanied by Passito di Pantelleria Jemara, Martinez. Cost: €65/€70 per person, excluding wine. Discreet, punctual, and friendly staff. Attentive service. Ample parking next to the restaurant. Reservations recommended.
The restaurant is located in a very beautiful and relaxing setting, with a terrace directly on the Sile River, which contributes to the pleasant atmosphere of this lovely establishment. The menu is interesting, although unfortunately the execution of the dishes and the service negatively impacted my rating. A trio of tartares was served without any seasoning; oil was brought upon request. The Spring in Oslo dish with poached egg was served cold, and the green asparagus crudités were modest, while the crispy carrot chips had lost their crunch and dominated the flavor of the dish in an unbalanced manner. From ordering to the arrival of the appetizer, exactly an hour passed. For the main course, as indicated, we waited another thirty minutes. In total, two and a half hours for an appetizer, a main course, and coffee. The "Orto e Mediterraneo" dish was an appetizer-sized portion; there was no chicory, but rather a sprig of lamb's lettuce. The turbot was good, and the wine selection was good. The sign outside the restaurant should have led us to suspect a delay, but unfortunately, the reality has confirmed that more attention should probably be paid to timing and preparation of dishes. The price could only be reasonable if all the dishes served were as per the menu and at a more appropriate time.
Despite the beautiful venue and location, it was a disappointing experience... When we arrived to try the tasting menu, we learned that it wasn't possible because "we had to request it in advance." The staff showed no reaction, even after we expressed our displeasure. The tasting menu was still on the menu, with the only restriction being that it was Sunday (it was Tuesday evening), as previously seen online. We therefore ordered two appetizers, two first courses, and two desserts à la carte, as pictured. The cuisine was refined and interesting, but the experience was ruined by the room being far too cold, with constant drafts, and by the excessively long wait (18 minutes for dessert!). I wouldn't recommend it.
