My partner and I had dinner last night at a truly lovely restaurant, with a quiet and welcoming atmosphere and kind, helpful, and competent staff. We ate with pleasure and enjoyment. Our choice fell on an appetizer for two, consisting of several tastings of several courses (endless, in typical Southern Italian grandmother style) and two main courses that we split so we could try both, all accompanied by a delicious and fragrant Primitivo. Everything was truly delicious, the only negative being the panzerotti, which were clearly a frozen product and had nothing in common with the delicious Apulian panzerotti I've enjoyed on other occasions. If I may give you a piece of advice, it's best not to serve them to the customer; among all that deliciousness, they were very out of place. However, mistakes can happen, and I don't dismiss all the beauty and goodness for a small reason. At the end of dinner, we were offered a small plate of limoncello and some biscuits with our coffee. We truly appreciated this courtesy and the way it was presented. The price was more than fair; in fact, I expected more, to be honest. After paying, we received a very kind gift on the house, a small bottle of Apulian olive oil, another truly appreciated courtesy. In conclusion, I think this is a truly worthy place. I'll give you 5 stars *****, hoping to see some panzerotti or panzerottini, more similar to traditional Apulian dishes, among the appetizer courses next time. Best regards, and see you soon.

I come here often because my dad lives nearby. It's definitely a wonderful place, a restaurant worth reviewing! Very warm welcome, professional staff, and exceptionally attentive to all customers. Varied cuisine, from meat to fish, 🥩🐙 mixed antipasti, especially traditional Apulian ones, each delicacy better than the last! I absolutely recommend it, a place not to be missed!

Non è la prima volta che commensalo in questa locanda, Ghiottonesca, ma NON la continuità dei piaceri Ghiottoneschi che l'hanno distinta nel tempo. Buoni i piatti in tutte le sue portate, mancanti di tante altre fodurie che in passato hanno prelibato il palato dei commensali. Da non rinnegare nella speranza che torni agli splendori. Buon Appetito

Porzioni molto abbondanti (soprattutto gli antipasti), cibo autentico pugliese davvero buonissimo! Il personale gentile e disponibile, ma a volte poco sorridente.

Good Apulian cuisine, starting with the appetizers featuring olives, cheeses, and cured meats. We then continued with the classic first courses and fish dishes, finishing with the signature bombette. The pizzas, which I've eaten on other occasions, are also excellent. The service is quick and courteous, and the prices are average.

Era da tanto che non mangiavo qui.. e mi spiace dire che ha perso un pò.. sia come qualità del cibo (non fanno più la pizza, peccato) che come ambiente.. Le bombette per esempio erano un pò secche e dure.. onestamente preferivo la vecchia Locanda dei Ghiottoni

We went for the first time and ordered typical house dishes, all very good. Service was quick, but it was midweek, so consider a weekend. Convenient parking, suitable for groups and singles... They also have a high chair, even with small children.

We decided to have lunch at this restaurant for May 1st on the recommendation of a colleague. There were six of us and we decided to start with the house appetizer. We ordered four of them (I recommend getting one for everyone, otherwise it becomes difficult to share). Overall, it was good. In addition to the appetizer, we decided to order the bombette (very good). To continue, we ordered two types of pasta to share (maritati with ragù and orecchiette with turnip tops), both good. To finish, we ordered samples of the main courses (sausage and chicken livers), house dessert, Primitivo wine, coffee, and house amari (the house amari, limoncello, and licorice served in chilled glasses). The staff was very friendly and attentive. Price for six of us was €240. The price is probably fair, but the €3 cover charge is a bit excessive, especially since in the South, if you bring something to the table as soon as the customer sits down, in this case olives, they don't charge you for them but they're there to welcome you.

The restaurant is nice and recently renovated, with parking in front. We booked a table for three and ordered a tasting of appetizers, two first courses, and a bottle of still water. The food was good, with various appetizers for €16 per person, even though we'd only asked for one tasting, but they brought three (for everyone at the table, significantly increasing our budget). In fact, for what we ordered, we spent €95. I think it's a bit excessive, and I'm still not sure how we arrived at that price, given that the appetizer cost €16 (for three people, €48), the two pasta dishes were €13 and €15, respectively, a €3 cover charge per person, and water was also €3. How did we arrive at €95?! I don't know, there's something I'm honestly not sure about. The waiter with glasses was very knowledgeable and kind! To be honest, though, I feel like I've been cheated, so I definitely won't be returning.
