Came here at 3:30 am and was impressed with our waitress who was very happy and excited for patrons to be there that bloody early. That being said the restaurant is open 24/7. The portions I felt were much bigger than what you would get at Denny's or ihops. Each breakfast platter comes with 3 eggs and a hefty portion of home fries or hash! Paired with a side of bicuits and gravy for some yum yum! They have fresh baked goods offered as well which I'll have to try another time.
Waitstaff was very attentive and I never had to ask for anything. Breakfast was amazing. Just happened upon it when visiting Rancho. Wish I lived closer. I will come back just to eat here! Forgot my waitress name but she welcomed me in my first visit and was super kind. 22 bucks for breakfast, tip, and a cookie to go. Well done Corky!
We came there for a Celebration of Life for a dear friend on Saturday. The place was very crowded but we had plenty of space reserved for our party of 25+.. The service was Excellent! We received our food quickly and it was piping hot and delicious! I can’t thank the servers enough!! Everything was WONDERFUL!!
We went today kinda late for breakfast “last minute” and the service was outstanding got our food quick and our server was on top of things wish all corky’s were like this one
Came on New Years morning for brunch. They were very busy, but seated us right away. The waitress greeted us quickly and brought drinks. Our food arrived in a reasonable time, considering how busy they were. Like many others have said, the portions are huge! Great quality too! They also made sure to keep my coffee topped off, which was much appreciated. The only issue we had was being seated right next to the front door. During our whole meal we got a cold draft as the door was constantly opened and closed. I'd suggest not sitting there.
Walking into Corky’s Kitchen and Bakery felt like stumbling into a real-life episode of Gilmore Girls. Cozy, charming, full of character—and the kind of place where you immediately relax and know you’re about to have a good meal and an even better experience. If Luke’s Diner existed outside of Stars Hollow, this would be it. We ordered the chili cheese omelette, home fries, and a biscuit with gravy, and every single bite was fantastic. The flavors were comforting and satisfying, familiar yet different—definitely not Southern diner food, but different in the best possible way. The kind of food that feels homemade, hearty, and made with care. What truly made our visit unforgettable, though, were Paula and Albert. Their warmth, humor, and genuine kindness made us feel less like customers and more like regulars who’d been coming in for years. They’re the kind of people who make a place special—the heart and soul behind the counter, making sure everyone feels welcome, seen, and taken care of. Corky’s isn’t just a place to eat—it’s an experience. It’s comfort food, friendly faces, and that small-town diner magic that’s getting harder and harder to find. If you’re looking for a one-of-a-kind spot with amazing food and even better people, this is it. Do yourself a favor and stop in—and ask for Paula or Albert. You’ll leave full, happy, and already planning your next visit.
We had a great experience at Corky’s Bakery & Kitchen in Rancho Cucamonga. The food was delicious, fresh, and full of flavor — everything we ordered hit the spot. You can tell they really care about quality and consistency. What made it even better was how family-friendly the atmosphere was. I brought my two boys and my daughter, and we all felt comfortable and welcomed. The staff was friendly, patient, and attentive, which makes a big difference when you’re dining with kids. Overall, great food, great service, and a great place to bring the family. We’ll definitely be back 👏
I love the service and the food we are going to make this location a regular spot the chicken pot pie here is better I like how the filling inside is thick versus the one in Rialto which is runny. Also the food portions are great!
I met my family here for dinner, including two grandsons who had spent the day at the zoo and were on the tired and hangry side. Our server made sure they were taken care of quickly, and we all appreciated that. Because we had two gluten-free people and one lactose-intolerant person in our group, they had a lot of questions, and she was knowledgeable and and patient. Everyone enjoyed their food, especially the grandsons! And we had plenty to take home for another meal. Corky's is loud enough that you don't have worry about your own kids making noise. That's a plus.
What a pleasant surprise. I had just left Mount Baldy, sort of bummed due to an injury I sustained which cut my ski trip short. I was so pleased with my experience here. It was truly a taste of the south. As a guy originally from Arkansas, I felt like I was back at one of the old country diners I used to frequent. The chicken and honey bacon biscuits were simply amazing, and the biscuit and gravy also hit the spot. I believe the biscuits are homemade; if not, they sure tasted like it. Considering my ski trip was cut so short, this totally made the hour drive that was somewhat lost no longer feel lost. I definitely will be looking for one of these close closer to my hometown, and may even come back out here one day just for this. The service was great as well.
Service was good but I did have an issue with trying to order from the kids menu. I had gastric sleeve surgery and I have my medical card with me, the manager didn’t even take the time to look at it and continued to say “ only this time” . I am only able to eat about 4oz of food at a time and should not be forced to purchase a full plate. I’m not stealing and I sure don’t like to waste food. If I’m paying for it I should be able to purchase anything on the menu… with that being said my server was awesome..
The food was incredible. Portions are very, very big. The waitress a little... not necessarily rude, but wasn't very friendly. Everything we asked for or needed seemed like we were inconvenient. The pancakes are HUGE. Definitely recommend getting the short stack. The gravy tasted phenomenal, though not as hot as we normally like. The chorizo burrito was large, flavorful, and well priced. The chicken for the chicken and waffles were absolutely delicious. We didn't get all our food together and by the time the chicken and waffles got there, we were halfway done, but they were well worth the wait. Hand breaded perfection.
Location: Okay, Parking: Okay, Service 1 step above basic, Senior Menu: Yes, Military Discount: Yes, Overall: been here a few times and thought I rated, but here I am and to be honest the place was busy. From what I have seen, the place is always busy, which is good for the company. Service does suffer as I asked for water and never received it. Our coffees were only filled once and never again or even asked if we wanted more. Was the food good and worth the price, I would say yes, all were happy with their portions. So would I go back, yes but on an "as need" basis ...
My wife and I ate last night at this place and I ordered steak and eggs. I had to return my steak because it was bloody red and I wanted to cook it more. Our server took it back and have it cook more when I got my steak back I cut a slice and it was still the same thing. I asked our server look it still the same thing can you get me a new steak and she said I can do that for you, when I got my new steak it was the same problem again I only ate half of my steak and we just left.
My wife and I stopped in for a late breakfast. There was only one waitress serving the entire restaurant; a manager was assisting her occasionally and eventually went into the kitchen to help the sole cook, but this approach was not optimal. There was also only one cook, who did not seem capable of carefully following customers' preparation preferences. For example, after waiting about 25 minutes for the food to finally arrive, we had to send my wife's omelette back because she had asked that it be softly cooked; it came back hard and charred on its underside. The bacon I received must have been prepared long before it was ordered. It was tasteless other than tasting as if it likely had sat in its own oil for a extended period of time. The young waitress was running all over the place trying to address several customers' needs. Improvements definitely need to start with an adequate waitress/waiter staff to serve customers. Secondly, for so many customers, should be more cooks in the kitchen so that people do not have to wait so long to get their meals and so that the cook has more time to carefully read and follow customers' preparation preferences as written by the waitress or waiter. It's sad that Corky's service and food quality has declined so much. We probably will not return; money is just too precious these days to waste on such poor quality food preparation and service.
I was seated at the counter on Sunday the 28th at around 9:30 am. While waiting for my order (barnyard special) I watched my order come up and the male server picked up the pancakes with his bare hand to look under them. He then turned around and placed the order in front of me. I was shocked that he did that. I called him on it and he said let me get you another order. I replied no thank you and left. I have watched this person many times and he is very rude to the other servers and very loud. I eat at this location at least 2 times a week but I don't think I will be going back.
