Stopped in post-hike because they had gluten free pancakes. Got the savory version and they were everything I wanted them to be! It’s hard to find gf pancakes done well and these were even enjoyed by my gluten loving boyfriend!
Lovely bakery / gift shop with a huge menu. The pancakes (which are gluten free!) were fluffy and portions are huge. I tried the matcha lemonade, which sceptical at first, was a refreshing drink on a hot day. Gift shop also has lots of lovely local wears. The young woman working the counter with the long brown hair was so nice and wrapped my gifts up beautifully (and at no extra cost!).
Delicious breakfast with hearty portions. Loved the egg and cheese croissant with avocado and the fruit tart as well. This is definitely a place to come for breakfast often on weekends. First time here and i hope to return again next time i visit
We are visiting Aptos and was looking for a place to have breakfast. We were really pleased with the food. The food is a little pricey in this area but it’s worth it. The quality was amazing! We ordered the farmers breakfast, Florentine omelette, French toast, avocado toast, egg and cheese croissant. The potatoes were really good. Pick those over the hash browns. The hash browns need more seasoning.
Very Cool Place with Delicious Treats and Coffee !!!! Cool Artwork on the walls.
Sister brought a huge fruit tart from Farm Bakery Cafe a few months ago, so when I found out this was in Santa Cruz, this was a must on my to-visit place in person! The fruit tart is amazing here. Perfectly sweet fruits. Delicious crust and the right amount of cream. The fruit tart in general is not overly sweet and has the perfect amount of texture. Came by hoping we could pay per slice, but they didn't have that option. Instead, they have a fruit tartlet for $7 which is your own personal fruit tart! It is a perfect size, but it is so addicting, you might need more than one. Parking on site. Be careful there is a steep dip turning into the parking lot..so scraped a bit of my car. I did see other folks order non-dessert food and it looked quite good with large portions. Might just need to try the food out next time!
Everything was perfect, helped us make a Mother's Day to remember. The cheese cake was rich and creamy but not too sweet. The carrot cake good but not great. The tarts were pretty to look at, sweet but not overly so and fresh with a touch of tartness. It was all about that cheese cake though. Looking forward to our next visit.
We had such a perfect breakfast. The food was truly amazing, so we even got extra quiche for to-go. Love the outdoor heating seats. What are lovely atmosphere? Thanks.
We were here on a Tuesday morning and parking lot was full. But once inside we had a place to sit. Food was delicious , and it has a cute shop . My Chilaquiles were good but it does get overwhelmed with a lot of chips. Oh, and I did get something from the Store.
Today on Sunday we had the pleasure of dining at The Farm Bakery, and I must say, it was an absolutely delightful experience from start to finish. I wholeheartedly give this restaurant a 5-star rating! They have good variety of food and desserts. It was crowded and No parking so we had to park little far and walk to the bakery.
So glad we found this spot! The sandwiches we got were excellent and the gift shop has a lot of cute items. There is plenty of seating outside in the front & back and also a lot of parking spots. We went on a Saturday and assumed it would be very busy but it wasn't.
So glad I finally made it to the Farm. I loved my huevos rancheros and mom said her eggs Benedict was delicious. I appreciate that my order was repeated to me and it came out exactly as I ordered it. I bought a coffee mug, cards and loose leaf tea from the cute gift shop. AND got some pastries to go that look amazing. So far I’ve tasted the carrot muffin and the fruit tartlet and recommend these. I will also add that all the employees were kind, helpful and busy cleaning and working away. This is a go to spot when you’re over at the coast.
Another great lunch visit at the Farm. I had the pulled pork rib tacos with a side order of grilled Alepo shrimp qith a refreshing iced tea! The new updated menu has great fresh choices which complements the many new and well done renovations to the place. Fun seasonal gifts abound in the gift shop!

The atmosphere and staff is great every time I come here. The food was good, though the GF bread leaves something to be desired. Tastes very much like corn bread..
Very beautiful, kind and attentive staff!! The service was EXCEPTIONAL and food… SO delicious!!! I am more than satisfied. Perfect place to spend an afternoon and grab a bite. 10/10 will be returning!!

My review is for the Farm Burger. Two patties that were not exactly juicy and an extra $3.00 for one slice of bacon on it (which had an off flavor). Stick to the other sandwiches, there are better places for a burger.
The owner is Dave is amazing, met him this morning and he asked for feedback, so here it is. Otherwise I would probably have not left a review. I'm a bit bummed to not give it 5 stars across the board but there was a few things that missed the mark for me. Please take into consideration that I'm a bit of a food snob since I spend so much money eating out and restaurants all over the country. I ordered the farmers breakfast with a stack of savory pancakes. My pancakes were put on to my wifes plate, so that led to some confusion. My wife ordered the same thing but with regular pancakes. I got mine with bacon and she got hers with the pork sausage. My bacon was really undercooked and floppy. I'm a fan of Bacon being fully cooked and not floppy. I can tell they sed liquid smoke on it which left an after taste which was not favorable. The pork sausage my wife said had a wierd after taste as well, and again that may just be a personal preference. When I got my toast on my plate I was excited but when we went to get the butter it was cold as was the toast so putting butter on my toast was essentially impossible. We also had to ask them after we they get hs our food for butter and syrup, that small detail makes a difference in the experience. The foil wrapped dairy gold butter just feels cheap for such a great meal, that's my biggest criticism. Now that we got all of the criticism, this is what was exceptional. I was really impressed with the gluten free pancakes especially the savory pancakes, very delicious and a creative concoction. The potatoes were also very good, perfectly seasoned and cooked. And the fruit was delicious. I would have taken photos but was too hungry to take one this time, I will definitely be back because I can tell the owner really cares and will see this feedback and want to improve in some way. The entire place was beautiful, we sat outside next to the heaters and the selection of other things to buy was really cool, especially for my daughter. Overall I'm happy we came just wish I would have ordered the Savory pancakes instead, 2 is definitely not enough, need the full stack next time. Service was also great overall, they did forget my daughters ham and Swiss crossiant that was ordered and said we didn't pay for one, when we did, but they fixed it. When she realized I had asked for it to be wamred up. Everyone was friendly and helpful and that's what matters most, highly recommend this place.

I'm not gonna comment on the vibe here as I'm obviously not the target demographic. People were having a good time. If I want to have a good time and enjoy a sit down brunch I'll go over to Heavenly in Scotts Valley. For food I got the classic benedict and a raspberry tart. The English muffins were as soggy as can be after walking 4 minutes to my backyard. There wasn't much in the way of hollandaise. It had broken and soaked into the bread. The eggs were covered in paprika which surprised me as I wasn't trying to eat devilled eggs today. The eggs were poached to absolute perfection though. The flavor was SO rich and creamy. Vaguely reminiscent of the eggs from my old chickens. The Canadian bacon was steamed not grilled but still very tasty. Hollandaise was hard to get a taste of but freshly made (hence it broke) and had a good flavor. I did enjoy it overall but not enough to get it again. I got roasted potatoes as my side. They weren't crispy though and some were too hard to chew. I didn't eat them. I got a cup of their house made hot salsa as well which was a standout. The flavors were perfectly balanced. Heat/acid ratio on point. Finally, I had the raspberry tart for dessert. It was a very lovely slightly tart slightly sweet raspberry jam and cream cheese filling in a flaky butter crust. I would order that again for sure and would definitely try more baked goods, they all looked equally delicious. I also enjoyed looking at the little gift shop, it was very amusing.

The Farm operates both as a bakery/cafe and a small boutique shop. My friend took us here because they love the quiche and pies. Sadly, none of these goodies were plant-based so I wasn't able to try myself, but they seem to do a lot of to-go orders for these items. I went with their Mushroom Tacos ($14.50) sans queso and asked them to add the vegan Chimichurri sauce that they'd normally include in their breakfast burrito. I'm not sure if my order actually had this but the mushroom tacos were still very tasty. Very tender shrooms and as good as you'd expect with all the toppings. I'm hoping they consider making some more vegan options available especially when it comes to their baked goods. I'll definitely swing by to try more of their food if so. Parking is available in a mini lot next to the shop.
I go to The Farm frequently. It's over priced, but everyone knows that already. As a special occasion thing it's okay. Their food is really good; it's usually mostly worth the price. Today, however, I was really disappointed after ordering the avocado toast. The avo spread was very thin and there wasn't really anything more to it than that. I would much sooner go to Cat N Cloud or another local cafe for this item. Better prices and much more dressed up.
For the past years we’ve change our birthdays cakes for there delicious fruit tart. My kids and I have always stopped by to get our Tarts. Till today when I had told my kids to look In to there books and see if they like any, and Julie approached them and told him if they were gonna buy any questioning them instead of questioning an adult and her rephrase was, I didn’t think you guys wouldn’t want any!! This was a pretty rude comment to say to kids I would for sure only come back for a fruit tart, but no longer for any other items this made my kids feel intimidated.
Have been looking forward to trying this place out for a while now. Sadly did not live up to expectations or online reviews. Service was very slow and seemingly often confused by the options available. All three dishes we ordered were wrong in some way. Two dishes included poached eggs, which were all undercooked. Very expensive too. I liked the vibe of the place, but sadly let down by everything else.
