Best catering experience ever! Abraham showed up on time with apps ready to go, food hot and beautifully displayed for our staff party. Cleaned up and left containers of remaining food for us to take. Very gracious about our changing numbers. Price fair; food excellent!
I can’t say enough wonderful things about Casa Rios Grill! The food is absolutely delicious — fresh, flavorful, and authentic — but what truly makes this place special is the heart behind it. Abe, the owner, is one of the kindest souls you’ll ever meet. He and the amazing staff went above and beyond to make my birthday special, even coming out to sing me Happy Birthday personally with the crew. It was such a sweet and unexpected gesture that really meant a lot. On top of that, today they hosted a fundraiser event and donated half the proceeds to help with our friend’s funeral expenses. That’s not just good business — that’s good people. If you’re looking for great food and even better company, Casa Rios Grill is where you want to be. Support this gem of a local spot. They pour love into everything they do. 💛🌮🎶
It's super horrible loud. Couldn't talk. Amazing food and great service. Have to say, I went a second time. It was not as loud, but the food and salsa wasnt as good. Very stale chips. I guess it's hit and miss on food, but service is outstanding, and the restaurant is clean.
Came with a friend for lunch, it’s my first time here! Food was ABSOLUTELY phenomenal and the staff here was wonderful! I will absolutely be coming back! YUM!!!!
We spent a few nights in Redding and decided we wanted some cheese dip. Casa Rios was highly rates so we went. As a group of two we were seated right away. Margarita was delicious. Salsa and black beans came with the chips. We added queso. Portions were LARGE. Neither of us finished our meals, but the chips and dips were gone. The staff was very friendly.
Food is great. We waited an hour for our food, but that was also on a busy Friday night! Prices are reasonable and their delicious food keeps us going for more!!! If you’re going there on weekends you might want to get a reservation and be willing to wait longer than usual.
Great Service and food, starting with the chips and salsa. The server was very friendly and checked on us several times, keeping drinks topped off. It's a first choice for Mexican cuisine.
Kaboom baby! This place delivers more of the authentic traditional Mexican food. Try their fresh squeezed watermelon drink. The place is upscale and unbelievably clean, just check out the bathrooms!! The paint is called dancing flamingo...awesome!

Hands down the best Mexican food in Shasta or Tehama county, and yes I’ve eaten at all of them. I’ve eaten here three times and it’s just very, very good.
This is my top favorite restaurant. My husband and I eat here when we want fresh Mexican food. Quality and quantity is outstanding.
Good food. A little pricey for us but we still enjoyed our meals. Great Sangria!!
This is the best Mexican food in town and the service was absolutely amazing - so kind, friendly and attentive. My kids could not stop gushing about as they were eating.
Seriously one of my favorite places in Redding. They have some of the best enchiladas. I get mine with carne asada and red sauce…delicious every time! I recently tried the Quesabirria tacos and those were so good as well! Queso is always hot and fresh. Service is always excellent and servers are genuine about wanting you to have a good time. They do serve alcohol but I haven’t bought a drink yet. Love love LOVE this place!!!!!
Great Mexican food. If you want to eat local and are craving Mexican food this is the place.to go. We Love there back bean dip and home made corn tortillas. They offer expanded menu with lots of vegan choices. Service is great and atmosphere is pleasant.
We are so excited to have found a Mexican restaurant that we love!! We came from living in Tucson, AZ for the past 9 years. We know what good Mexican food tastes like! We tried 3 other Mexican food places in Redding (which were disappointing) before we came here. We have found “our place!” The chips, bean dip and salsa was excellent! We’ve never had bean dip served to us before and it was delicious!! The food was excellent as well. On a side note, we loved the atmosphere and the bathrooms were very clean. We can’t say enough about this place. You won’t be sorry!!

I ordered an 8 person to-go order over the phone, the order was taken and prepared perfectly. Great service, great tasting food with absolutely no mistakes, which was greatly appreciated. Will definitely be ordering our company lunches from Casa Rios in the future.
I just love love love the Queso Birria Tacos!! Very scrumptious! Their take on the Lemon Drop is very nice too. I haven't even tried anything else there because I cannot get enough of these too items.
I had the seafood tacos and my friend had the chili relleno with crema; both meals were delicious. The portions were huge, and we needed to-go boxes when we were done. She had a hibiscus margarita and I had a lavender berry drop - YUM!! Service was fantastic. Our waiter was professional, friendly and efficient. This was my first time at Casa Rios Grill, and it definitely will not be my last.
I heard lots of good things about Casa Rios on Facebook. We decided to give it a go on a Saturday evening. We arrived and were seated quickly. Unfortunately they were pretty busy - there were a few open tables (this is around 6:30PM) but the wait staff had their hands full. This was the only reason I took one star away from Service. Our waitress didn’t get to us for around 15-20 minutes. After she took our drink order, things moved along well! Our friendly waitress (Natalie) brought us a nice size bowl of thin, crispy tortilla chops and a bowl of refried black bean dip and salsa. The chips were great! Crunchy, fresh, nicely salted. The bean dip was also a nice touch. The salsa - perfect. Not too spicy, a little tangy - refreshing. Natalie noticed we went through the salsa pretty quickly and brought us another! Time for the main course. We ordered a Santa Fe Chicken Salad and Chile Poblano Campestre. When the food arrived (fairly quickly) the salad arrived first. It was huge! A big bowl of fresh mixed greens, lots of black beans, corn and a mountain of crispy chips and chopped grilled chicken. The Chile Campestre was just as impressive. A large battered and lightly fried poblano pepper covered in a spicy, rich red sauce and a lot of diced grilled chicken. On the other half of this large plate, there was a generous portion of mexican fried rice and creamy refried beans. Both dinner were excellent! The salad had so many great combinations of greens, corn, beans, sliced avocado, chips and chicken - it was one of the best salads we have had in a while. The Chili Poblano Campestre was also delicious. The red sauce was quite spicy - but much of it was next to the chili - perfect for dipping. The chicken and spices along with the cheesy fried poblano was hard to stop eating. Both portions were huge! We wanted to save a little for dessert, but it was much too difficult to stop eating ;-) Towards the end of dinner (we still had quite a bit left!) Natalie came over and apologized for the delay earlier. She also brought over some take out boxes for our leftovers. I couldn’t resist asking about the desserts, especially the Coconut Tres Leches. We ended up ordering one to go! By the time we got home, we decided to try a little of the Tres Leches. It was absolutely delicious. Lots of fresh strawberries surrounding a moist coconut white cake with a creamy light whipped topping - and coconut on top. Wow. Don’t miss getting it if it is available!!! Overall - the meal was top notch. We did have a wait a bit before being attended to - but it was well worth the wait!

Best Mexican food in town for sure. Prices are a little higher than some of their competitors but it’s definitely worth it. Food is always fresh, delicious and consistent!
Really good food! House made tortillas and chips. Everything was fresh and tasty. The acoustics are a little loud, but the food is worth it. Do not pass up the chicken wings - some of the best I've ever had.

It is my favorite Mexican restaurant in Redding. The food is very good. The complaint I have is the noise. The owner he needs to do something about the acoustics there. It is just terrible. I try to go either right after lunch or by 4 o’clock so it’s not too crowded. It just gets too loud other customers have said the same thing why doesn’t he do something about it?

I’ve been a loyal customer of Casa Rios for years, but unfortunately tonight was a very disappointing experience. Our group of three adults and three kids (all under five) requested a booth — something that has never been an issue before. Even though multiple booths were open, we were told the wait would be about 45 minutes and that seating us in certain spots might be a fire hazard. Those booths sat empty the entire time. We received no updates, no acknowledgment, and not even an offer for drinks while we waited. Meanwhile, a party of about 19 arrived after us and was immediately accommodated by moving tables, something that could have easily been done for our much smaller group. After waiting longer than promised with no communication, we decided to leave. I understand restaurants get busy, but the lack of communication and consistency was frustrating. Casa Rios has always been a favorite, and I hope the service returns to the level we’ve appreciated in the past.
