Service was very friendly. I called to see what the wait times were at Corbetts, and the person on the phone didn't seem too friendly. I called here and whoever answered was extremely friendly and pleasant. We decided to go here. It was pretty crowd when we went (the Sunday after the Kool April nights show). The server got us seated earlier than what we were told. She was very sweet while taking our orders, and was attentive even though it was busy. Food was fantastic. My husband and I ordered the eggs Benedict and it was so yummy. The other people in our party enjoyed their food as well. Portions were huge.

Wow just wow. My first time here and it was SUPERB. The prices are low compared to other places these days. They give large portions, you won't leave hungry! The service was excellent, super friendly environment too. Food was GREAT

This is a very homey, down to earth kind of restaurant similar to a Denny's. It is surprisingly large with several dining rooms. This would be a great place for a big group. I bet that the church-going crowd really fills it up on Sunday. I had a breakfast special; biscuits and gravy, hash browns and sausage links for $6.99 which is a great value. The service was much better than you usually get at this type of restaurant.

Great food and fast, friendly service, have outdoor tables set 6 ft apart with 4 chairs at each table. Has great breakfasts and nice variety of hambergers and really good fries. Has had a great, well deserved reputation.in Redding for many years.

22 of us had lunch at Redding's Country Waffle today. It was wonderful. The food was good. The service was even better. The wait staff was moving. Our glasses were always full. The food came quick and hot. The staff was friendly. What a great lunch we had there.

We got there 20min before they closed but they were gonna cook us whatever we wanted. Since I know what it's like to have to stay longer cause customers take their time. Very impressed by this little place. I have never seen a restaurant so clean. I would have eaten off the table. Every aspect was orderly and neat. The owner was on the floor greeting every guest. I think we waited 6 minutes total for our food and they were pretty busy. Maybe a little outdated on the inside but I’ve lived here my entire life and this is the first time I came in. I will go back.

We absolutely had the best experience. Chanika was our server and we watched her not only expo for awhile but be a huge team player. All the condiments were in clean properly cared for containers. The booth was very clean! Not sticky this was awesome. The food was made perfectly and tasted perfect. Every one was very involved and good at their jobs. I saw plenty of motivation and clearly we have a strong compassionate leader in this establishment. Great job everyone. You all deserve recognition. Every time I eat there the food is prepared perfectly to my desire. I LOVE there omelette the most. Cooked to perfection & I've never had to send any plate back due to cooked wrong! Their establishment is really cute on the inside. The staff are super friendly and are absolutely amazingly helpful when someone has a baby in the group. I personally would recommend the french toast. It's so fluffy and mouth-watering! I'm definitely going to come eat here more often.

First time here, and I've lived here almost 2 years. Shame on me! The omelettes, French toast and country fries were awesome. The service was incredible and fast, not to mention the waitresses smiles! Definitely gonna finish out their menu now. Too much good stuff!

Honestly, driving by i probably would not have stopped by. It has the look of a 70's diner. Walking in with some friends who invited us to eat here, i was expecting red vinyl booths and mediocre food. Blown away with how good the food was and the amazing service. Quick helpful and the food was amazing. We will definitely be coming back.

Had never been here before, decided on a whim to grab to go lunch. Ordered the western burger and the California burger, one with onion rings and one with fries. Seriously, it was done in under 10 minutes! The burgers were fantastic! The onion rings and fries were perfect! The service was great! Why have I not been eating here? Absolutely fantastic lunch and a fair price. Now I have to try their breakfast.....

This is a mom and pops breakfast restaurant. We were looking for delicious breakfast and homemade waffles and let me tell you. The waffles are to die for. I have tried so many kinds and their waffles are DELICIOUS! Golden crispy on the outside, soft and fluffy that melts in your mouth with each bite. 10/10 The croissant turkey sandwich was so tasty. And the country potatoes... yummy highly recommended. The coffee was the con. Water down with coffee flavor. Please make good coffee and that will make this place the absolutely best. Antonio gave us the best service ever and if you are around redding and want good quality breakfast, this is the place to be.

While the All American was smaller than I expected, the waffle sandwich my wife got was huge. The food was really good, the customer service was excellent. If you get the orange juice with your breakfast order 2 because, even though my breakfast was small, the glass they gave me didn't last all the way through. All in all, it's still in our top go to breakfast places.

I went here today for breakfast while on a road trip. This place is amazing! The staff is nice, the food tastes amazing. I ordered a Nutella-strawberry-banana waffle today, and this is a dish I can recommend if you like more sweet breakfast waffles. This is a great dish! Today was my mother's birthday as well and they gave her an ice cream sundae free of charge. The ice cream they have is also very good. Overall, I give this a 5 star rating!

Excellent service. Staff was very attentive, my coffee never went cold. Restaurant is under new ownership and it shows! I had the eggs benedict with fresh fruit. My eggs were poached perfectly and the hollandaise sauce was creamy and flavorful. My mom had the sticky bun waffle. What a treat! She said there was just the right amount of pecans and raisins. My son had the egg and bacon breakfast with pancakes. He loved the hash browns.

Had the fresh peach crepes, out of this world. Not cooked in boiled sugar, natural flavor of the peaches. Yumm.. Friend had fresh peach waffle, same great taste and fast courteous service even though it was 11am. Even gave me to go cup for my ice tea.

The service is the best part and the waffles are good. large portions but, they could use some seasoning for the potatoes and eggs. Mild salsa will do the trick. Excellent service from hard working ladies

Always super good, their chicken fried steak and eggs. However, the pancakes and waffles are never hot enough to even melt the butter. They need heat lamps because they weren't that busy. With coffee being higher we want more than just two cups of coffee, and shouldn't have to ask! 😞

Family atmosphere with a great selection of favorite breakfast faire and lunch menu selections. Omelets deliciously filling, the crepes looked exceptional, I look forward to try them. All priced reasonably. It is a surprise it took 15 years before, I'd been in to try this great treat.

Food is great. Cleanliness is not. Build up of dirt, grime in the caps on the ketchup and other bottles. Bathroom has build up of dirt on the handicap bars and other fixtures including the seat cover holder. It does make me wonder how clean kitchen is.

My main dish of cinnamon apple waffles was fantastic, it was a solid meal that wasn't heavy on the stomach when I finished it. My only complaint is my side of bacon and eggs weren't close to how I ordered they were still tolerable. I would definitely return to eat here again.

I loved Country Waffles, we visited on a very busy Mother's day, and they did their best to make sure we were all served in a timely manner, and the food was great.

Food was a 2/5. Same level as dennys. Would rather eat at Jeff's cattle company. However, the service was great 4/5. They made my wife and I feel welcome and the atmosphere was clean and light hearted. They offer a Veteran discount 5/5. So over all we give it 4/5. Its not high on our list to go back, but that doesnt mean you wont enjoy the food more then us. Either way, give it a try and judge for yourself!

First time visiting this particular Country Waffles location, usually go to the one in Chico, CA. Still very pleasant visit, helpful friendly host, and quickly seated. The server was very friendly and informative. Food came quickly, and someone was always around for coffee refills ❣️👍. Only negative thing would probably be the booth seating, the table is a bit smaller. Maybe bigger booths? Otherwise, great service. That's my only reason for the 4 stars.

Wish I could have given a better review. Food was ok, service ok, watching our toast being prepared was very disappointing. We observed very poor hygiene and food prep - the yound man preparing our toast itched his nose with his fingertips and then proceeded to handle our food without rewashing his hands or putting on gloves. We observed this with multiple servers. Sorry to give a less than stellar rating, we were fairly grossed out.

Took myself out to breakfast and was super disappointed. The eggs benadict I ordered came with 2 very over done eggs and a broken sauce. When I asked for a refire on the eggs my waitress was no where to be found. I had to wave my hand in the air to get someone, lucky another customer saw I needed help and told his server. She helped me get new eggs but my food was already cold. My waitress was awkward and quiet. Seemed like she didn't want me there. I have been here before and have loved the food but today i was better off going to McDonalds. Sadly I will not be back. Shout out to the waitress that helped me!

Country waffles is a restaurant for people over the age of 65. If you're taking your grandma to breakfast it's the perfect place. The decor is very basic, but nice. The staff was very nice and attentive but they brought out our food at least 5 minutes apart. The food is okay but nothing you can't make at home in the same time. The food was very basic and very bland, hence why i say it's great it you're over 65. Nothing unique about this place other than a very kind owner/manager.

Hashbrowns taste like old cooking oil. Staff very friendly tho. Customer service great. White older guy that seem like the dishwasher, caught my eye always cleaning and every detailed on sanitation. I need a worker like that :)

Throughout the time that country waffles has been in town, I have been there probably around 100 times. It was one of those places that you went to after church or sometimes you just felt like a good country home meal and the food has always been pretty good. The last time my wife and I went there and the reason for the 3 stars was that they did make a mistake on both of our orders and when we got back it was Luke warm and my hash browns weren't even close to being cooked. They had a very, very soft crisp on top and the bottom was damn near raw and even want to finish my meal. So we might not be going back but it could have been a one time fluke. Time will tell.

We judged by all the cars in the parking lot, but we’re very disappointed by the food. Just not quality ingredients. My bacon tasted like it was reheated, eggs tasteless, hash browns mediocre, for the crepe it was very sweet but good fresh strawberries. My husband got a hash and was also disappointed. Good service and ambiance but all else could be improved.

Didn't realize they're the same owner as Waffle Bite. We went during mother's day. The wait wasn't too bad. Similar menu as Waffle Bite just that the presentation is different. Similar price point. Wanted to try chicken and waffles but was told they didn't have any due to busy day. Was promised a free drink for mother's day, which never came.

This is your average Diner nothing special here, the first time we went was on Father's Day and the food was pretty good came out hot anyways. The second time we went the food was ice cold, I don't think we'll ever be going back there.

One friend got waffles and he loved it. Another friend and I got steak & eggs and both steaks were mostly gristle (we agreed that the eggs were great). The fourth in our party got eggs Benedict, and said they were terrible. I tried them, and she was right. Go there for the waffles, but only the waffles.

Haven't been there for a while so decided to go have breakfast for lunch. While we (2 of us) normally go during morning hours, when the most pleasant staff are there, we went around noon. NOT PLEASED AT ALL with this afternoon staff. No refills on coffee or our iced tea or even asked if we'd like a refill, the gal that sat us didn't offer to get us drinks and had an attitude that she'd rather be anywhere else, our waitress couldn't even crack a pleasant smile. Food was mediocre. But then when I put my card on the table to pay, waitress came by and took it then dissapered as we sat waiting to sign and leave. She came back by to see why we were just sitting there because she apparently forgot she already took my credit card to run over 10 minutes earlier. Sorry to say we won't be going back for a long time but if we do it'll only be in the morning. Hey afternoon wait staff... if you don't like your job or being pleasant to paying customers that don't give you any hassle... then find another job!

The food was made good, but the customer service from the waitress was very poor. She has an aggressive attitude. She’s not friendly. She doesn’t seem like she wants to help not one time did she smile kind of felt like she was being bothered by my presence by my husband and I being there and we are Afro Latinos . This was our first time trying this place being we just moved here directly across the street from Southern California. this was our experience here but the food the cook made was good we tipped the cook. Perhaps she should be trained on customer service and learned to properly greet customers and say hello with a smile and be friendly instead of like she hates her job. I watch her happily tend to the others.

I have been here twice and both times I have had my coffee go cold before anyone even bothered to ask or bring me any cream. The second time I ordered coffee and water got my coffee and again no cream, waited for 20 minutes while my waiter zoomed around me to help other customers. I attempt to get her attention but she says over and over how she’ll be right with me. I’m still with no water so I get up and leave after another 10 - 15 minutes. While watching others around me get refills. Never coming back again.

I loved, loved this place! Then the worst meal I have ever had. I ordered the chicken & waffles. Now this was not the first time I have had this meal here. When the meal finnaly came (it looked really different) at first I told my companion oh wow I think it is some new chicken batter (WRONG) I have never been so disappointed. The chicken was so extra crispy because it was that chicken you get in frozen dinners recooked, HORRIBLE JUST HORRIBLE

This place needs to be much more specific with their waffles. What it actually is is waffles topped with stuff. I was under the assumption this would be like a gourmet waffle with things mixed in the batter. My partners waffle was topped with apple pie filling and shredded cheese. I was pretty disappointed. Beyond that it smells of urine when you walk in. The service was below standard. The manager was angry and slammed dishes trying to make a point to his servers. Never again.

Don't order the chicken fried steak!!! The meat is so pale I'm not sure what it was! It tasted terrible! The gravy appeared to be made of water with some flour added in. I ate the eggs and toast. Left the rest for the trash!

We ordered vegetarian food and it came with a couple of small pieces of meat and the staff was pretty insensitive about it. The food in general was pretty average too. Although their peanut butter chocolate shake is definitely worth a try!

THE SERVER AND THE MANAGER/OWNER BOTH IGNORED OUR COMMENTS AND JUDT WANTED THEIR MONEY. ONE MEAL (THE FRENCH TOAST) WAS NOT EVEN TOUCHED . NO SORRIES, CAN WE MAKE IT BETTER….NOTHING. DON’T EAT HERE. IT IS TERRIBLE.

Let's start with the atmosphere. Feels old, decor outdated, wall hooked my wife's shirt. It was noisy, but it has a diner feel. We were tucked in a corner and mostly forgotten about. Antonio was really nice, but he went on break right after taking our order and his replacement was brusque. Service stars are solely for Antonio, the rest of our experience would've ranked lower. He also sacrificed the timeliness of his break to the point of having to reheat his meal! When the food finally came out most of it was undercooked and cold. Mexicali Omelette was supposed to have Ortega chili, but it tasted and looked like a spicy tomato paste. Irish Benedict came out with very runny poached eggs and raw corned beef hash. Southern Chic-wich was edible, but eggs were underdone and it was overly difficult to eat. We all got country potatoes, but they were more like boiled potatoes without much seasoning. They did comp the Irish Benedict, but none of us finished our meal. They came back and offered a salad as the Irish Benedict was not eaten at all Darn, I forgot pictures. Ultimately, we'll not be back.

The service was really bad and the waitress Chenika was super rude to us and we saw her be friendly to the other guests around us. I felt racially profiled because Chenika accused me of not paying when I already paid, and instead of just asking me if I didn’t pay she accused me, and other people were walking out and she didn’t go up to them and ask if they paid.
