Service is great, love the healthy breakfast options, wine and dinner options. We ordered the steak frites, escarpot and chocolate mousse. All really good!
We walked to try Crème De La Crepe in Redondo and it was delicious. We went for breakfast and I decided to get the French Onion Soup which is odd for breakfast but it was so delicious. Cappuccino was amazing and I also tried their Madrid omelette. Everything was delicious. Service was good.
This is a lovely French cafe located on Catalina in the heart of the Riv. They are obviously known for Crepes but they have a great menu ranging from breakfast to dinner, amazing salads and sandwiches for lunch. It does get crowded as the place isn't huge and they are super popular but that is a good sign that you want to eat there. Creme is a great change of pace from the many spots in the village that do very similar menus. The potatoes they serve are a welcome change from the fries and tempura veg you see so much of. The service is always great and the food is prepared with care. There are so many good places to eat in Riviera Village and this is definitely one of our favorites! There is really no on site parking but usually it is pretty easy to find a meter in the triangle which is like 2 minutes walk. If you are in the mood for a stroll you can always park free on the avenues assuming it isn't a beach day or it will be packed too.
Great place family and friends with indoor and outdoor al fresco seating. Glad they kept this as it adds to the ambiance of Redondo. Amicable staff and quick service. Food is great with a good selection to pick from. No pastries though. Mimosas, coffee and other drinks available. Parking may be a bit difficult as it is street parking predominantly. There was no wait on this particular Saturday morning.
Creme de la crepe was outstanding and one of the best meals I’ve had in a while. Best escargot I’ve ever had and amazing coffee. Food was outstanding and the service was spectacular as well. Great environment inside and I’d come back here any day. Good french onion soup and a very reasonably priced menu. Crepes were great and I’m looking forward to the next visit
The menu has more than crepes. The four of us each had something different and were pleased with our choices. There was only one server working, so it was a bit slow. He was great though.
Update - 3/16/2025. Always love this place. Normally, we'd have breakfast or brunch here, but this time we're here for dinner. They have a happy hour from 3pm to 6pm weekdays, where you can have a dessert crepe for $7 and drink specials. We missed it, of course, since we went in a Saturday. I had their Hibiscus Mimosa this time, and Salmon risotto. We also had the prosciutto bruschetta, spaghetti bolagnaise, bisou x2 (dessert for dinner and for dessert), and a marine. All delicious as always. Only one server today, so the service was a little slow, but not a problem. *** previous visit*** I had a Lilet spritz, which was delicious and was perfect for sunset on a spring evening. Not surprisingly, we also ordered the same as what we would have ordered for breakfast/ brunch. Still great.
Creme De La Crepe is one of my favorite restaurants. I’ve been going there since they opened their first restaurant in Hermosa Beach. I like the crepes as an alternative to sandwiches. The warm chicken salad is my go-to salad. It’s also a great place to celebrate a birthday or special occasion. The dessert crepes are fun to share with a group. They serve champagne, mimosas, wine, and they make a great coffee. Every server speaks French, which adds to the ambiance. The people watching is great since there is outside dining on Catalina Ave. It’s also one of the few places in Riviera Village that is open early and has a great breakfast.
The food was really nice! we sat outside and that was nice! The cappuccino was good, the lavender latte lacked lavender taste, we had French benedict, salmon benedict, and spicy lamb hash. They were all very tasty and a good size! We also ordered a breton crepe and a grand marnier french toast. The french toast was moist and yummy however the crepe lacked nutella and was harder to chew in my opinion. We had a great experience and the staff was very friendly as well. We cant wait to come back!
Excellent service from Salvador. Delicious food.
Authentic crepe’s restaurant with a legit number of choices. The brunch is fantastic as well as their specialities like the bourguignon beef. Gluten-free crepes are on the menu as well. The environment is really nice and the service has always been at the top. I strongly recommend.
I had a Sunday brunch at Creme De Le Crepe and I really enjoyed my meal. I ordered the healthy breakfast and it was great exactly what I was looking for. My friend got the crab Benedict and the crab cake was amazing. We all also split a banana strawberry crepe which was great! Overall a great experience at the Creme De Le Crepe. I would recommend checking it out and would love to be back

Wonderful and tasty! The two staffers worked hard to attend to all the tables. This was the same issue when we had a meal at their Hermosa Beach location. We arrived and were seated immediately, but soon afterwards there were more folks. They need more staffers to accomodate the patrons. I ordered the Nordique crepe which is smoked salmon in a creamy dill sauce with tomatoes and jack cheese. It was very tasty, but not really photo worthy. The crepe was dry like a hard tortilla, perhaps because the buckwheat crepe was made ahead of time and it dried. Regardless, I loved how my crepe tasted. Maybe if the dill sauce was drizzled on top of the crepe, it would of been more Eye Food Candy Like. My friend ordered the Fit Crepe which is scrambled egg whites, tomato, mushrooms spinach and asparagus with a basil pesto on top. She loved hers, but didn't care for the actual crepe, which was also hard and crunchy. We opted for dessert since it was my birthday! I love creme brulee and theirs was perfect! The presentation and all! It was a wonderful way to start my birthday! Thank you! The restaurant is packed tight, with blankets for those who want one to use while sitting out in their front patio. There are also heaters too.
Russ and I stopped by Crème de la Crêpe for a late lunch and had a really nice experience. The restaurant felt cozy and beautiful. The music was lovely, and I kept catching myself looking at the pretty lights above the bar. We ordered the bolognese pasta and the fondue with bread and apples. The bolognese was really good. The sauce had a deep flavor and tasted like it had been simmering for a long time, and the pasta was cooked perfectly. The fondue was also great. The cheese had such an amazing flavor and was really good with both the bread and the apples. Gauthier took care of us when we were there and the service was impeccable. He was warm and hospitable and made us feel really welcome. It was a relaxed lunch and we are looking forward to coming back.
Wonderful staff & food. Nice place for a french bistro vibe & good food. The power bowl was well balanced and a nice size portion. So much flavorful from actual ingredients where ketchup was not needed! I would have posted a picture but started eating as soon as it arrived to the table. I’ll be back.
What a wonderful place with the kindest owner! Had a small problem with our order and it was addressed so swiftly and generously I am honestly left speechless. Look forward to being a frequent customer and eating many delicious crepes for years to come!!

Cozy place for breakfast, food was good. No parking, but we found a space on the street nearby.
The coffee is delicious, omelets delicious, side of bacon delicious..everything was just fab! Really enjoyed my host
Popular brunch restaurant, we got in at 9:05 and they were already full with local clients. Lots of options, from buckwheat crepês, to waffles, omelettes, hash dish selections, and a nice drink menu. Service was very attentive even if on the under staffed side, so kudos to the team. Food was great, tasty, special treat for a weekend, for anyone looking for a French based breakfast. We had the eggs Benedict caprese, crepês with fruits for the young ones, crepe Swiss, and a few other crepês selections. All good was good but some in the party thought some crepês were a little over cooked and chewy. Overall the staff and food met our breakfast needs and expectations. As a note, there's several other restaurants next to this one but this was the busiest at brunch time. Good option.

The food was not the best I've ever had. The service was bad, I understand the concept of servers helping each other out, but when the food arrives it's not what you ordered. Food Items missing and wrong food was served.
We arrived at 4 pm on Monday for their happy hour. We ordered 2 pate plates, one escargot, one onion soup , 3 champagne and one cosmopolitan and were charged full price for everything. We will never eat there again.

The service is terrible. I ordered the vegan salad with salmon and they brought me plain arugula with 6 pieces of zucchini and carrots and maybe 1 oz of overcooked salmon. They didn't offer a replacement and I had to bring the salad myself to the counter. I really never knew who was my server. I asked for dressing and the third different person who came to the table brought me ranch, and never offer any other option. Safe your time and money and go somewhere else.
