Update2/22: Now serving Proudly Serving SMASH BURGERS! I love their brewery out in Lomita, but this spot is super close to my house and my go-to place to grab beer and hang with friends. They also have wine, guest taps, and a few pier styled foods to snack on while you enjoy the beautiful Pacific Ocean.

This was a cool little hole in the wall at the Redondo Beach pier, the staff was awesome. The atmosphere was fantastic and the view was even better, they have great beer and pretty decent tequila. Definitely give this place a try. So eat local, spend local and shop local.

Fun place to hang out and enjoy award-winning beer. The staff are so nice and grab a delicious smash burger while you're listening to the live music. The location is really cool on the international harbor.

What a great spot! The beer is fantastic! The service is outstanding! And the venue is one of a kind. I can’t speak about the food, but the beer was excellent. Where else can you get craft beer made right on the pier? Great vibe too. Kathy the bartender is a gem too!

This is our place to grab a beer and a burger. I don't know which is better, because they are both so good. The skatepark across the marina (but still in view) is perfect for keeping your teens occupied, happy, and out of your hair. Lastly, the music you'll hear here is some of the best local music in the South Bay.

Caught the World Series game last night at Project Barley and it was unforgettable! The tacos were tasty, the smash burger was next-level, and Joe and the team made us feel right at home—even as Blue Jays fans. Incredible hospitality and a one-of-a-kind vibe. This is officially our go-to spot whenever we’re in town!

Project Barley is one of my favorite places to spend time, eat, and drink. The people running it are great, the beers are great, the PS smash burgers are great, and the other patrons are great. The live music and karaoke always add to the fun, and I’m not typically a live-music lover. They don’t over-do the volume, which is nice. PB has been an excellent addition to RB, and I hope they’re here to stay.

Smash burgers are awesome! I’m not a big thick cut fry guy but these fries are amazing! The best thick I’ve had. I’m not a drinker but the bar has great atmosphere. Location is nice - right on the water at the marina.

Great food & beer! The service is excellent & the views are unbeatable! We love everything about Project Barley! They have love music on the weekends too! It makes for a great afternoon sipping adult beverages with some fun music to groove to. Pro-tip - if you are looking for something a bit lighter to drink, ask for a 50/50 of their cider & seltzer. It's really refreshing too!

Well they now serve alcohol for all your enjoyment and party needs.. Food is as good as ever and the music is still rockin... Stopped back down Friday night and was pleasantly surprised by the wonderful band playing.... again, just stop by... UPDATE ABOVE ORIGINAL BELOW This place is great, the beer is always cold and tasty... they serve burgers fries tots.. its all very good... Almost always a different artist yet amazing artist.. (they do about a monthly rotation before you'll see an artist again) Honestly this place should be called Barley at the Beach ⛱ ! Mmm still great beer, music and burgers 🍔 Day or night this place is always good!

We had beer wine and pretzels. All were delicious! The service was friendly and helpful. Totally enjoyed our visit here and fully recommend a visit here if you’re in the area. Food was good here. Best on the whole boardwalk that we found, but server was surly and most tables felt dirty and most seats had tape over cracks. We found one of the few tables with whole chairs it felt.
