We recently had lunch in Rhinebeck, but my husband was determined to try Aba’s. After eating a modestly sized lunch elsewhere, we walked around and managed to get here right as they were closing, although they were polite enough to serve us. My husband got a falafel pita and I stupidly just got a few falafel. The falafel itself was probably the best I’ve ever had; they were incredibly flavorful, not dry at all, and with a bit of crunch. My husband’s falafel pita was divine. The falafel combined with everything inside and the sauces made me fairly jealous that I did not get one myself. The food was delicious and we appreciated the service and this will be our go to spot for this kind of food.

This is my favorite dive in Rhinebeck - all vegetarian and all delicious! This time we came at the busiest hour - lunch rush on Easter weekend, and the line was super long out its door. But the atmosphere behind the counter (where they take your order and assemble the food) remained calm, orderly and efficient. Every customer was greeted with friendly smiles, thoughtful questions and speedy service. I ordered my usual falafel pita, plus the roasted pepper and artichoke soup, while my husband tried their sabeech pita. It's a miracle how much food they skillfully stuff into a pita pouch - I would have torn it or dropped the content - making one's meal a great value. The soup was amazing, and the sandwiches were heavenly! There aren't many such fast yet gourmet eateries in Rhinebeck, and this one is a must try!

I've been to Aba's many times. It's counter service, the food is ready quickly. I appreciate the side salads, the freshly toasted pitas and sauces. It's good quality falafel for an upstate joint. It's solid falafel, by no means the best I've had, but most definitely the best within a 50 mile radius and worthy of a visit. :)

This is the perfect lunch spot!! The food is AMAZING, and the staff is super friendly. I just moved to the area, and I can already tell this will be a staple meal for me. The falafel is so fluffy and perfectly fried, there’s so many yummy sauces, and you just feel good after eating it!

Tasty Mediterranean with contemporary flair. Good prices. Really tasty! Friendly staff. A great find that also happens to be vegetarian. (Bread Alone is usually too busy. Head a block up the hill and go for exotic deliciousness and good vibes!)

We got to Aba’s for lunch and were famished when we got there. We ordered the Sabeeh wrap and a Falafel on a plate. The wraps were so amazing and delicious, with the vegetables and sauces complementing each other and the Falafels cooked to perfection. We loved the unique and refreshing flavor of the Roy’s Lemonade, the aroma and subtle taste of the Almond tea, and the energetic kick of the the Turkish Coffee. All in all, we loved everything we tried at Aba’s Falafel and left the restaurant as very satisfied diners. I would highly recommend it!

Love this place. Everything they make is fantastic. Wonderful people, great atmosphere. I hope they are here forever. 100% vegan too, a dining sanctuary for those of us who look for plant based animal free options. Healthy, delicious, clear conscience.

Maybe I don’t get out much but Aba’s has the most authentic and delicious falafel I have ever had in this country. I always like to try it and I’m usually disappointed but not here! Aba’s is a busy little shop, you can eat in or takeout, there is indoor and outdoor seating available. It’s very clean and the employees are working hard to make your fresh food fast and provide friendly service. I’ll be back!

Wow we stopped by town and did not expect so much. But it was absolutely amazing and so fresh! The falafel is one of the best I’ve had and not dense and dry.

Some of the best falafel and middle eastern food you can get in the county. Everything is packed with flavor and we didn't need to wait long to get our food and eat. It was a perfect place to stop after a long hike. Even though it was cold, they have heaters outside that you can turn on for your table to stay warm, which was perfect for eating outside.

The falafel is delicious, the pita is a little hard, but there is a situation that they like it that way here, it was especially busy and the toppings were really modest, you could hardly take schug or pickles But it's worth eating here and the employees are very nice and polite
