Cool place to hang out with fellow bikers and check out tons of bikes. The ride there is incredible no matter which way you come from. Food is good and drinks are what they are. Would definitely ride out there with more people any chance I get.

My daughters and I had the pleasure of dining at Drifters Ice Housd today while attending a Vendors Event , and we were beyond impressed! We ordered the nachos and quesadillas, and they were absolutely delicious—fresh, flavorful, and generously portioned. Every bite was a delight! The customer service was outstanding. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. The atmosphere was warm, welcoming, and full of energy, making it the perfect place to enjoy a great meal. Adding to the experience, Drifters was hosting a Vendors Event benefiting the Grimes County Animal Shelter. It was amazing to see the community come together for such a great cause. The live music set the perfect vibe, and the silent auction added an extra touch of excitement to the evening. If you’re looking for a place with fantastic food, top-notch service, and a fun, community-centered atmosphere, Drifters is definitely the place to be! We’ll definitely be back! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

SUPER GREAT PLACE! I would say this place is a hidden gem because it's a little out of town but worth the few mile Drive. This place has grassy area picnic tables and trees around it. This is a family-owned establishment and they are really nice and the dogs are great! Please support local family-owned businesses!!!

Great original style ice house. You can not find too many like this around anymore. The food is amazing and the service is on point. If you are riding the national forest you need to make sure this is one of your stops along the way.

First of all I would like to say Congratulations on your ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY. Second I often write reviews without very much knowledge of the establishment , the owners, the history, and I can honestly say that isn't the case here. What to expect when you arrive. The owners Mike and Stephanie will be the first to greet you along with Allie who will already be popping a top on your favorite beer. Brutus is a silent partner and the bar mascot with his favorite recliner over in the corner. They support live music with local musicians and that says a ton. I very rarely get a kitchen pass and go behind the scenes but Stephanie gave me the grand tour and I was impressed. You could eat off the floor in the kitchen . The bathrooms are clean, stocked and air conditioned. It's a locals favorite and the motorcycle riders come from all around. The view is so peaceful, beer is cold, food is amazing, and the conversations last for hours. It isn't just family owned and operated. It's family! I have posted plenty of pictures to help you see this venue through my eyes. Try the Steak you can literally cut it with a plastic fork. The green beans are awesome, burgers are a step up from the rest, and the BLT is a favorite of mine! I enjoy this little slice of heaven in Richards Texas. So it's definitely on my list of favorite places I frequent. I wish nothing but success, love and happiness for this adorable couple who are cooking and serving with love.

Great place to stop for a cold drink or a hot sandwich after a hot, long motorcycle ride. Not the greatest atmosphere and most riders keep to themselves. Quirky parking lot.

We hadn't been here in quite a while but rode here this past Saturday, the parking lot was full which was a good sign, live music and lots of people. Ordered 2 beers for the wife and I, cost was $7, finished those and ordered 2 more, the cost for those was $8 (same beer brand as before) ...was thinking if I order 2 more it'll be $9 or maybe even $10!!! The crowd was starting to thin out, so could it be that the price goes up as more and more people leave or maybe that's why people were leaving. We won't be back and yes; I know that won't shut them down.
