Hot Crab Cajun seafood grill & bar best in town delicious yet good price 👍🏼👍🏼

This place is great. They have good specials on seafood as well. This is my second time here and would definitely come back again

My fiancé and I came within an hour and a half of the place closing on a Saturday nice. The waitress was nice. The atmosphere was a little more chill and low key, probably had about 5 other parties. We waited less than minutes for our appetizers and then another 10 minutes for our seafood combos. Prices were great and affordable. I got more food than I thought I would which was nice! Most places would skimp on that. Would come back again.

This was a Christmas gift to me from my coworker. And I must say goodness it was hard to work after eating . I’m not big on spice but it was seasoned with a hint of spice to perfection. The crab wasn’t over cooked and the potatoes and corn all I can say it order extra. I know the next time I eat here It will not be a work night for sure

Love the seafood here! Always hot and fresh! Lot better and cheaper than Ah Shucks or Big Sucks! Prices are reasonable and they have great combo seafood prices! Second time here and will let everyone know about the great seafood and service!!

I was wondering why this place is empty. I thought it wasn't that good. Well i was wrong. I ordered king crab, shrimp and mussels. They were all cooked perfectly. Cajun and garlic/lemon butter sauce was phenomenal. Server Marry was so kind and sweet. I had seafood in Louisiana and several places in Houston and Dallas. Far the best place i have had seafood. Thanks for the great food. Keep up the good work 👍

The food was amazing! We just ordered online for pickup and it was easy and fast. Order was already waiting when we got there. Everything was so good! We plan on visiting next time and probably order again in a few minutes😀 Edit: I did order again for my husband and son and they loved it!! Hubby got the shrimp fried rice and son got the fried tilapia basket with okra. We also got the tiramisu and cheesecake. It was all soooo delicious! Husband is a very very picky person and he's still talking about it! Thank you!!

The Cajun seasoning is the BEST flavor of them all. I had the make you’re own boil with shrimp, clam, sausage, and black mussel. It was excellent and affordable compared to other places.

Just made my own seafood boil! It was so affordable and so good. I order 1 pound black muscle, 1 pound muscle, half pound clams, half pound shrimp head on, half pound sausage. With three corn and three egg. All came out to be $47. Delicious!

I visited this establishment today and I have to say the customer service was beautiful. The food was some of the best crab boil I've ever had. I had the soft shell crab and I was blown away. It was really good. Two thumbs up for sure and I highly recommend. 👍👍

The crab was sweet & cooked to perfection which made it easy to crack open. We got our boil Extra Spicy with the House Special seasoning. This is by far the best place to get a seafood boil. We’ve tried multiple places and nothing compares to this. The prices are reasonable, service is fantastic, & the food is amazing!

This isn’t just eating Cajun food, it’s an experience. You get the crab adorned bib, the gloves, a giant bag of freshly made and delectably seasoned seafood of your choosing. And we devoured every bite of it! (See the photos) The restaurant is decorated in what some might call a cheesy underwater/pirate theme, but it only further immerses you in the experience, taking you out of the busy streets of Dallas and into Louisiana. We arrived about an hour after they opened (unaware of that) and still had great service, tremendous food, and a whole experience we will never forget! Thank you! 💜🦐

We were visiting from Colorado, and were anxious to find some seafood. This was perfect. You get a ton of food for the price, and the menu is extensive. Everyone's food was awesome, and the service was excellent. Since they don't have their liquor license yet, they let us walk across the street and buy some wine and beer. The waiter even promptly brought out a bucket of ice to put our bottles in! Great experience:)

Hot Crab has the best seafood boil! Not sure why it hasnt gained a lot of popularity yet, but the seafood is fresh and tastes great with their different sauce combos! We've been here twice already and each time the waitstaff is super friendly and attentive. The seafood itself is really good too. No complaints here! It can get spicy so be careful with your level of heat. There's a lot of seating inside as well. You should definitely check it out!

The shrimp was excellent. Large portions and very flavorful. Highly recommend this place. We will return. It is better than the similar restaurants in Addison. Cheaper and more flavor. So glad we stopped in.

It was our 29th wedding anniversary and I wanted something good. I’m not a big steak eater, so I had been researching seafood takeouts. I had had my first boiling pot on our honeymoon, so Hot Crab seemed to hit the theme. We both went all in and got the Lobster Boil. Oh, my goodness! Who would have thought a boiled egg would taste so yummy! I wanted more. The shrimp was plentiful, the potatoes perfect, but I could have had more, the corn tasty, and the lobster was the biggest lobster I’ve ever had. Oh, I forgot. We have oysters for our appetizer. Next time I’d forego the oysters and leave room for the main course. And we had cheesecake for dessert. We choose mild for the heat level, but you couldn’t prove it by me. It had a heat factor while eating the dish, but right afterwards I couldn’t tell. A definite A+. Update 10-21: I ordered the Coconut Shrimp with Cajun fries. Omg, I am so full and I didn’t eat all of the fries. The shrimp dipping sauce was so tasty. The restaurant should give us enough to dip the fries in. 😍

I had such a wonderful experience at Carb Restaurant! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting. The place is super clean, beautifully decorated, and has a really comfortable vibe. The food was absolutely amazing — fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. Every bite was delicious, and you can really tell they care about quality. The portions were generous, and everything came out quickly. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. They made us feel welcome and checked on us throughout the meal without being overwhelming. Overall, Carb Restaurant exceeded my expectations. Great food, great service, and a great atmosphere. I’ll definitely be coming back and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fantastic dining experience!

The staff was extremely friendly and hospitable. Food was hot, delicious and came out fairly quickly. Physically witnessed someone devour their food…lick their fingers in fact, claim that they didn’t like the food and walked out without paying. Apparently that happens often which is sad but this place is great and the owners are the sweetest people. PLUS they like Beyonce so that’s also a fantastic thing.

Loved it. Seafood boil was great, had a party of 14 & my server was amazing, she was so kind and did a great job. Place was empty on a Sunday night which was crazy! They definitely need to be shown more.

We are good for the pull up on restaurants. The shrimp, class, corn, fish, fried rice and all were good as ever. I thought i wanted the garlic butter for my rice. But NOPE none needed. The service is on point and I love the humor that comes with great service. We will come back very soon. This place is better than the commercial spots.

I feel like the overall vibe of this place was amazing. We did come during a weekday which was a little bit, not lively, which wasn’t really a problem for us cause we did have our baby with us so we didn’t want to disturb other customers, but I feel like the overall experience we had was pretty good. The food was amazing. Well he seasoned the only thing I probably wanna mention is that our server wasn’t as attentive and would constantly forget what we ordered, but it’s not a big huge deal. He was an amazing server and we really appreciate him. I would definitely recommend this place and I would definitely come back. especially for the spicy crawfish fried rice

Pretty good crab and shrimp combo. The cajun seasoning was good and the mussels, corn l, okra and hush puppies were good as well. The only issue is they only give two small pieces of corn considering ordering a combo it should specify how much of the corn etc you get.

This was my wife's first choice for seafood since we moved to our new place and I have to say it was a good one. We were greeted by happy and bubbly hostess who sat us almost immediately to a well lit but not to bright both. The atmosphere was warm, inviting and cozy, the hostess told us about a few specials that sounded good except that the don't serve alcohol however it a bring your own bottle ( BYOB ) restaurant which isn't so bad if you like to drink alcohol your meal 😉

The food Is good and fresh. The prices are pretty good also. Just be careful when ordering the sauce. Hot is really hot and extra hot is too hot if you ask me. Ordered medium my second time around and it was great.

The food was good...customer service was just ok...cashier seemed to have an attitude. It was my first time visiting and I was getting to go orders for multiple people so I was asking a lot of questions and trying to decide so I guess I was getting on her nerves even though I spent $75 dollars. Seeing how I was the ONLY customer in the entire place and no one came in while I was waiting you would think it would have been a pleasure to assist me 🤷‍♀️. The food was good so I will still give it a 4 rating. Customer service just needs to improve.

My hubby noticed this restaurant driving so we decided to try them out. The customer service was okay, our waiter was a little slow at times to come back and check on us to see if we needed anything but she was quick to take our order. It doesn't look like they have fountain drinks and it looks like they were limited on their bottled soda but she said that we can bring in our own drinks, so I guess it is a BYOB. We both ordered the Combo E boil which had: 1/2 pound snow crab legs 1/2 pound shrimp 1 Lobster tail 2 potatoes 1 corn 1 hard boiled egg Seasoning: House (combination of all the seasonings is what we were told) Spicy level: No spicy Price: $32.99 The flavor of the seasoning was delish and it wasn't so overpowering as other places. They cooked everything very well, it was not overcooked or rubbery as seafood could be. So the only issue we had was that the actual seafood didn't seem enough, at least the snow crab because it was only 1 claw cluster, maybe if they added 1 more cluster it would have been way better. So that and the sodas is why it was given a 3 star rating.

The food was good chicken tenders and crawfish but do NOT get the dessert hard and probably frozen had freezer burn very disappointing (cheesecake & tiramisu) . We did get a refund for the dessert which is appreciated. Other than that the food was pretty good

Came here during valentine night and service was horrible. We were seated pretty quickly without any wait, but there wasn’t any servers for 20 minutes. I had to flag someone down. We ordered a lb of blue crabs, fried soft shell and fried combo. We got the fried food after 30 minutes but the soft shell crabs were small and the waffle fries were too salty. The fried combo was decent. Then we waited some more. Finally we went to the front to ask for an update on the boil, and they told us there is no blue crabs. I wished they had communicated that instead of having us wait another 40 minutes for it. I believe that they were super busy because of valentine but I rather they told us that in the beginning so we could try it out another time.

They are TERRIBLE business. They racially profiled me and tried to force me to pay for food I did not touch at all and threatened the police because I did not want to. Said racist comments and on video being savages. I will be making a public review on this restaurant and it will be shut down soon.

I ordered from this establishment 3/20/2024. I ordered snow crab legs, some shrimp, and a lobster tail. The main dish was the snow crab legs for $19.50, and the other were add-ons as a "Make Your Own Seafood Combo." I never received the snow crab legs. I called the restaurant about the mishap, and they advised me to contact Uber Eats. Unlucky for me, because restaurants such as this one have messed up orders in the past, Uber Eats has restricted me from getting credits onto my account. I called the restaurant again and advised them of the information. The person I spoke with apologized for the mistake. He told me that he was the one who packed the deliveries and he forgot the snow crab legs because they were busy. Understandable. I told him we are humans and make mistakes. He then advised me that he was going to contact Uber Eats and credit me the missing item through his end, and it should take 2 business days for me to get the refund. It's been a few days and I haven't received anything. I lost $20.00 for nothing. The food that I did get was mediocre and not a lot of it. It's not worth the price, which removing the snow crab legs is worth about $50.00.

New owners, new staff. Seafood bags are horrible now! No flavor at all, recipes were definitely changed. Restaurant looks nice and the bar is now open but just not it for seafood. This was my family’s go-to for the seafood bag but this is just not it anymore. Sad to see old owners leave. Prices still the same but seafood bag not Good. Order 3 seafood bags to go, took 50 minutes. With previous owners was out of there in 20 minutes max.

This experience was extremely disappointing and honestly shocking. The food was not edible. The sauce had a gooey texture, wasn’t the sauce we ordered, and the crab legs, which are supposed to be part of the boil were completely missing. We had to keep sending food back because it was repeatedly wrong. We were also the ones constantly having to get up to get their attention because of the lack of service. We did not eat any of the food and returned everything as-is. Despite that, we were still forced to pay. When we expressed that this was unreasonable, instead of resolving the situation or accommodating us, the staff escalated it and called the police, which was completely unnecessary and uncomfortable. The lack of professionalism and customer service was unbelievable. What made it worse is that this place used to be much better the previous team handled things far more professionally. Something has clearly changed, and not for the better. I left extremely disappointed and will be disputing the charge.

$27.99 for picture above is crazy. I eat at seafood boils all the time this was way overpriced for the portions. Taste was good. The interior of the building is busted. Normally I don’t mind but with the prices they are charging they need to invest in the building. The menu had marker and prices crossed out on it. The ceiling was exposed and there were so many hand written signs everywhere. Again I don’t mind a hole in the wall place to eat I love those. But not with the prices we were charged. And with our pictures I had no taken a bite that’s how small the portion was.
