Have had Chinese food all over the country. Lucky Bamboo is as solid as any restaurant we’ve tried. The owner Alice is gracious and friendly, the food is delicious. Just a great place to have a nice dinner! She even made me Egg Foo Yung ( not on menu ) which was the best I’ve ever had. Thank you Alice!
We enjoyed eating lunch here- the fried chicken dumplings were great, hot and sour soup was some of the best I’ve had, and the Orange Chicken and General Tso’s Chicken was crispy and full of flavor. We will definitely be back! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Small family ran place with big charm. This was a great stop for a quick lunch. Staff is super friendly and the place was well kept and clean. They sat us quickly, took our order and very quickly prepared our lunch which was very hot and freshly made. We will be back again for lunch.
My husband and my first time experiencing this restaurant, we really enjoyed it. We will definitely return again.
Great food with generous portions. Finally found a neighborhood restaurant that is awesome. Very friendly and attentive staff. This place is worth a visit
This place is such a great place to eat! My husband and I where able to enjoy chicken lomein with a plate of orange chicken! The size of a plate for the price was perfect! We had some to take home and enjoy for later! The staff is so nice and attentive, they tell you what your ordering and make sure it’s the right fit for your dinner! Second time here and will come back !
I have been a fan of Lucky Bamboo for several years. Mostly, I call for takeout and it is ready 10 minutes later. It is always good and comes with extras like fortune cookies, sauces and sticks. Just a great little place, never busy and will alter any item to suit you. This is my Chinese food GO TO place!
Found this gem of a place today - wow!! Great Chinese food and great customer service! Went with my mom and sister and had a great time talking to the owner, Alice. The food was hot, fresh, and delicious! Also, no MSG. This is a must go place!!
This is the real deal, I appreciate your dedication to your craft. Your food exemplifies the love that dwells in your heart no doubt. Be blessed and thank you so much for the kindness you showed to my wife and I. To Albert and Michael thank you for the recommendation.
Absolutely delicious and flavorful. The portions were huge, one plate can absolutely feed 2. The staff were so warm and kind. We got full fast and they insisted we take our time. They were great, we would absolutely return if we lived close. Definitely stop by if you're near.
This is one of my favorite restaurants. Alice and the staff are so friendly and welcoming. And the food is so good. My favorite is the fried rice which taste so amazing and always come out hot. Definitely give this restaurant a try!
It was my first time here and I wasn't disappointed. I really didn't know what to get so I was leaning towards the steamed scallops and vegetables. The owner informed me that there was actually a combo that would include everything I wanted plus shrimp for only a few dollars more. That is what I got, and it was amazing, it came with this white sauce that added a ton of flavor to my meal. I can tell she cares about the customer which I respect, most restaurants often only care about money or don't care at all. From the food to the staff, I give this place 10 stars.
Our group split several appetizers and 4-5 plates. Everyone ate everything and everyone liked everything they tried. That's a pretty outstanding stat for a Chinese restaurant. The egg rolls, spring rolls, fried dumplings, orange chicken, Mongolian beef and General Tso's were particularly good. The staff was exceedingly friendly and the service was polite and prompt. We'll be coming back!
We are by Fortunate to have such a great Chinese restaurant close to home! Alice, her husband and Mary are always there to welcome my husband and I, remembering what we like to eat, helping my husband with his Rollator and bottom line going over and above to do everything possible to make our experience special. This is not just a neighborhood restaurant…This Is a family owned Restaurant with great food, fair prices, and always a smile. Stop by the next time you have a taste for a Chinese food dinner… they will not disappoint!
So so so amazing! My partner and I came here for dinner and we had some of the best Chinese food in the DFW! Alice was so wonderful and recommended her favorites to us! Mary was also so wonderful! It was honestly some of the best customer service I’ve ever experienced which just made the dinner so much better! The space was also really clean! Overall it was a 10/10!
I ordered food for a corporate event on 10/2 for about 100 people, and the food was OUTSTANDING!! We had the Sesame Chicken, Beef & Broccoli, Veggie Fried Rice, Veggie Lo Mein, and Spring Rolls. Everyone was extremely impressed and wanted to know more about ordering for their own families. A family-owned establishment and they make you feel right at home as soon as you walk-in. I recommend 100,000%!!! Thank you beautiful people. We'll be back!
The wife says the chili sauce on the wontons (A7) is the best she's ever had. The egg drop soup and hot and sour soup were fantastic (and the wife usually hates those soups). The Singapore rice noodles are a 10/10 (especially if you like curry) and the orange chicken was perfect (and I know my orange chicken)! We'll definitely be back 🤗
This place was Amazing! The waitress was very friendly. The food was delicious and fresh. The shrimp was delicious, it had a light sweetness to the sauce and the walnuts complimented the dish. The sesame chicken was also wonderful. The restaurant has booth and chair seats. The place was clean as well as the restroom. I will definitely be coming back for some more.
I’m leaving a review to discuss the subpar food I had. I ordered a couple of dishes and felt they were most likely frozen and not fresh. I have eaten local competitor for similar dishes, and the quality difference is very apparent. I also ordered a lunch special. The fried rice was terrible, even Panda Express has more "culturally appropriate" fried rice than this place, which is sad and telling of the quality being served here. It was slow when we arrived, which is usually a tell-tale sign of the quality of food being served at restaurants to customers. Also, the lunch special I ordered had no meat in it. Even though the meat seemed fresh and was very nice and juicy and I feel maybe if there was more meat, I wouldn’t feel so sour about my experience. However, that wasn’t the case. I feel competitors such as noodle wave are superior and since they were closing for a couple hours and was very hungry decided to come here. I feel very disappointed with my experience and definitely won’t be coming back.
Ordered 2 dishes in person, the combination fried rice, and jumbo shrimp with mixed vegetables. The shrimp dish was ok, but the combination rice was horrible. I expected chicken, pork, and shrimp. What I got was something that resembled chicken, no pork, and 5 baby shrimp. I really couldn't eat it because of the fake chicken. Really don't understand how this food is considered some of the best in Richardson
I visited this restaurant expecting to enjoy a quiet dine-in meal, but unfortunately the experience was disappointing from start to finish. When I walked in, the restaurant was nearly empty, yet the greeting I received was abrupt and unwelcoming. I was immediately asked “Takeout?” in a dismissive tone. After I clarified that I would be dining in, I was asked “How many?” in a manner that felt unnecessarily short, especially since I was clearly alone. During the ordering process, I requested sweet and sour chicken with fried rice. I was told it only came with white rice, which I understood, but when I clarified that I wanted fried rice instead, the interaction continued to feel tense and irritated rather than helpful. The final moment that confirmed my decision to leave was when my food was brought to the table. It was placed down without any courtesy or acknowledgment, and the overall demeanor remained cold and dismissive. As someone who values good customer service and understands that stressful days happen, I still believe professionalism and basic courtesy should be consistent — especially when guests are choosing to dine in. I did not consume any food or drinks and chose to leave after expressing that the service had been rude. I hope management addresses the tone and hospitality extended to customers, as first impressions and respectful service matter just as much as the food itself.
The food was bland. Crab rations were empty on the inside, egg rolls tasted weird, they didn’t offer lo mein as a side so we had extra rice which was greasy and bland. The lo mein we did get was bland and the “spicy” garlic beef wasn’t spicy we could tell the difference between that and the Mongolian beef. Egg drop soup and fortune cookies were the only things we enjoyed
