As someone who frequents the DFW metroplex, I’m always trying to expand my horizons when it comes to dining. Since I was in town to meet my cousin I let him take the reins on picking our restaurant, and this is where we landed. Needless to say, we were very pleased with our experience. The staff was efficient, attentive, and kind. We started with the Chef’s Choice Deviled Eggs, which had a jalapeño filling. They were the perfect balance of fattiness and spice, a great way to start the meal. We then had the Pan Seared Salmon, Wagyu Double Double, Bacon Mac & Cheese, and Asparagus. All of these were excellent. The burger & salmon were cooked to perfection and packed full of flavor. The sides were just as good, and I personally think the Mac & Cheese is worth a special trip. Given the quality of the food and service, it was a very reasonably priced meal. The atmosphere was wonderful, and we would definitely eat here again!

Highly recommend The Fifth! Our server, Jesus, was attentive, gave great recommendations, and was very friendly. He even made sure our shared salad and entree were split in the kitchen. The deviled eggs were probably my favorite dish that we tried, but it was all really good! The brussels have an excellent flavor and the seer on the steak was a pleasure. You can never go wrong with beets and goat cheese on a salad, so of course we were getting that. We're excited to come back and try more tasty treats.

Wholisticated Lady

First, I love the quaint area where the Fifth is located. The restaurant is tucked away in a quiet neighborhood very close to 75 and off of main roads. Parking is not terrible. Second, the Fifth has such a warm and inviting ambience. We were greeted at the door, seated immediately. We chose the patio, ample heaters were lit as well as the gas fire place. The music was just right. The restrooms were nice and clean. Third, the customer service was above and beyond. Tristan took care of us. He was well versed with menu items and knew exactly what to recommend. He had a great personality. And last, the food. Muah!! Pretty good! We were impressed and the prices were par, and reasonable. We will definitely be back!

We had a great time here! Food was delicious, service and atmosphere were great! We’re ordered the deviled eggs, chickpea spread, beet salad with chicken, grilled shrimp salad, chicken pesto Caesar, bacon Mac n cheese, corned beef melt, Thai spiced crispy chicken sandwich, brownie sundae, and crème brûlée bread pudding. All was spectacular! We will definitely be back!

This place is a hidden gem! We came in for weekend brunch and were a bit nervous about being comfortable on a Texas patio in the summer, but they have mist fans, swamp coolers, and outdoor AC units. We were so comfortable! Our waiter was John, and he was so great! He was very personable and gave us great recommendations. One of the best service experiences we’ve ever had! We never had a unfilled glass or to look for him if we needed something. 10/10 John! The food was shockingly good! I expected good food, but this was above and beyond. The fried green tomatoes were perfectly seasoned and battered. The other members of my party raved about the brunch burger and I thoroughly enjoyed the standard breakfast. The salad with the standard breakfast was so good, perfectly dressed and seasoned! Finally, the prices were great! Definitely less expensive than most Dallas brunch spots. We were already making plans to return before we left!

Great fun place! Love the fireplace! We were in the patio and had a great time. They have plenty of heaters, so you will definitely be comfortable in the cold. The food is fantastic, the service is good. The salmon tacos are tasty. The focaccia is so good! We enjoyed everything we tried.

Nice spot for a gathering. They've changed the Charcuterie board, it was OK, woukd have liked some cheeses on it instead of the dips. Martinis are actually decent.

The music was a little loud. It was a little difficult to hear our sever. The blue cheese fondue was really good. The filet was ok. Definitely too much sear on it and asked for med rare and came out medium. The pork chop was OK. Had a lot of char on it. The creme brulee breading pudding was good. A few of the bread pieces just tasted like bread. Over a decent place to come to. Will be back to try other things.

Great lunch spot! We sat inside and the martinis were on point. We both had the French Dip, huge portion, just okay on flavor. I’d definitely return for the drinks and try a different entrée next time.

Went with a large group and it took quite awhile for our food to arrive. Some of us had to take it to go. Chicken pesto salad was excellent but there was something off about the tomato soup.

Ambiance was my favorite part of this establishment. It's a small restaurant with a great upscale vibe. I arrived here at 4pm on a Tuesday. It was empty except for a party of 2 that arrived at the same time. I sat at the bar and promptly ordered food. It took longer for it to come out than it should have. I had the Ahi Tuna Poke. It didn't have a listed price on the menu, which was fine. I enjoyed it, but wouldn't order it again (or recommend this particular dish) based on the price. The bottom of the drink menu says to ask the server about cocktail-inspired NA beverages. I'd have ordered one had there been a list to mull over, but don't enjoy doing the verbal back-and-forth of "what type of drinks do you like" to narrow down a selection and then hope for the best with whatever the bartender concocts.

Is this place under new ownership? The 5th used to be in my top 3 of Richardson restaurants. Service was meh, but I won’t call anyone out because I understand everyone has their days. She gave us our drinks fast. I loved the smoked old fashioned before but now they say they “can’t “ do a smoke show and still charge $17 for a whiskey mix that was just literally poured over ice and it was disappointing. We decided to not order food because we just felt uncomfortable. I hope things get fixed soon or this place won’t last.

The beet salad was fair but there were not many beets. The meatball mushroom focaccia didn't have any mushrooms or meatballs. We were so engaged in conversation that we didn't tell our waitress about the problem. She was a very good server. We felt like it was overpriced.

I came here for the first time and got the chicken pesto salad and soup for lunch special for $17.00. I felt the service was awful. They did not value us as a customer. When I asked if the salmon tacos were any good, I got a lot of "I don't know" and the female server left me asking more questions than her trying to help solve them and find out. I honestly felt like I was a burden to her. We also ordered 2 burgers. They got the order wrong and brought out chips instead of fries. When we asked them to correct it, she said fries didn't come with it. We told her it was part of lunch special and then she realized a mistake and fixed it. Over priced food, average taste and below average service. It was slow when I went at 2:45 today. If it wasn't for the locals who live in the area for the last 30 years, this place would be dead. Sadly, I felt That my 10% tip reflected the level of service that I received. I almost left $0.00 and I was a server during college.
