Huge selection of pizza ! Tastes to please diversified appetites . Plain pizza , meat or veggies, thick or thin , red sauce or white . Lots of delicious items on the menu to satisfy your appetite. More than pizza on the menu . Rice balls , chicken cutlets, eggplant and a sandwich. I love it all. Rosa’s pizza is definitely top notch !
As soon as you walk in the door to Rosa's Pizza you're immediately drawn in by the array of pizzas. So many selections of freshly prepared pies. The staff are friendly and hospitable. There's also gluten free selections available. This is my go to lunch spot for the best food ever. Cheers
Best pizzeria in Queens. There are different types of pizza to choose from.best garlic knots good flavor in everything.
Best grandma slice in NY. Maybe best all around Italian eatery in terms of quality and consistency. A family friendly place where eating in is just as easy and delicious as taking out. Great people great food great service. A true local gem
Rosa’s has been our family’s favorite pizzeria in Queens forever. Their variety of pizza is huge, from standard (although it’s way above standard) cheese slice or Sicilian to next level ziti or chicken Caesar. They also have entrees, heros, salads and rolls . Our favorite though, and one we’ll drive an hour there and back to get, is the Grandma pie The sauce is very flavorful, the cheese has a perfect pull and the little touches of basil they add last minute complete the perfect bite. Service is always friendly, and food is always amazing
A little pricier than my usual spots but it's so good and justified. I've had places charge me the same or more for the worst slice. I had the Buffalo chicken slice and it's amazing. I also had the chicken roll and it was so filling and delicious. Service is great.
Rosa's Pizza is one of the best! Their Chicken Ceasar Slice is amazing! The entire staff are warm and welcoming.
Excellent pizza! There's so many kinds of pizzas to order as well as rolls and hot meals. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Prices are very good as well.
I really like coming here the pizza is very good, some slices i like is rigatoni slice and the upside down sicilian. The garlic knots are amazing and if you ever want to try something new ask for their buffalo or bbq wings.
Rosa’s is the standard when it comes to pizza. I’ve been coming here for so long and it is still consistently great. Between the Grandma and Upside down they can’t be beat for miles.
It's the real deal New York City pizza shop!
I live in South Brooklyn and I will travel to Rosa’s for the eggplant pizza… unpopular opinion but pizza in the city sucks, Brooklyn sucks I think they only old school specialty pizzerias left are in queens and Rosa’s has the best eggplant pizza ever and I’ll drive across the borough for the eggplant slice 🤤 🍆 please don’t ever change ✨
I love this place! Always come here when I visit family in NY. No matter the time of day they never disappoint! I can't even pick 1 type to recommend, all the types of pizza are good, you will enjoy any that you pick! And they have the best garlic knots!
We ate in & asked for 1 meatlovers pie & 1 Sicilian to take back home to Massachusetts. Everyone was very nice, pizza was amazing and family members were able to enjoy it in Massachusetts as well.
My SO and I stumbled across this pizzeria late one night and we don't regret it. We split 3 different slices between us and they were all so delicious. 😋 my favorite was the grandma slice. I don't think I ever had one so good. I don't live around here but I'll drive over just for that slice. The only thing we were missing was a tasty salad.
The most New York City slice that has ever existed. Authentically New York with a capital NY…
Great pizza spot Love the interior design 10/10 Great pizza Recommend to take your family, friends They have verity of pizzas Recommend the square Chicago looking one Wish I took a pic
Been enjoying Rosa's Pizza for over 15 years. There food is always excellent
Oh my goodness! I had a fantastic experience with 5 of my friends last Saturday! I ordered Chicken Francese and Garlic Knots. My friends ordered Shrimp hero, Chicken Parmigianas, slices of Pizzas, Ceasar Salad. All of the food was big portions and delicious. Even the coffee was great! The service was fast and the waiter was polite and offered me assistance when I needed explanation on my dish. I will be coming back with my family. Oh and the prices are very reasonable!!
Went after my mommy's funeral with our group, about 15 of us. The food was delicious n fast. 😋 definitely recommended it.
Been coming here for years. Upside-down Grandma sicilians are the best
Everyone knows Rosa is the best! And if you don’t, you should try. See for yourself.
Food is always fresh and the staff is friendly and willing to help.
Rosa's Pizzeria offers not only exceptional food but also an outstanding dining experience, thanks in large part to the impeccable service provided by their waitstaff. During my recent visit, the waitress attending to our table exemplified professionalism, warmth, and efficiency. She greeted us with a genuine smile and ensured that we felt welcomed from the moment we stepped in. Her knowledge of the menu was impressive, offering thoughtful recommendations based on our preferences. Throughout the meal, she was attentive without being intrusive, anticipating our needs and making sure everything was to our satisfaction. Every interaction felt personal and sincere, creating a comfortable atmosphere that elevated the overall experience. Her ability to balance multiple tables while maintaining such a high level of service was truly commendable. The seamless blend of attentiveness, friendliness, and professionalism made the evening truly memorable. Rosa’s Pizzeria is fortunate to have such dedicated staff, enhancing its reputation as not just a place for great food, but also exceptional service.
Best pizza in Queens, NY. There are two other Rosa's pizzarias in Queens, but the one on Fresh Pond Rd. Is the best. It's NY, so parking is tough. You can pay the parking meter or try to find a spot on a side street. Wherever you park, it will be worth it for the pizza. Don't forget to try the sausage, eggplant, or chicken rolls, too. For that matter, you can sample the menu as it is full, and I have not tried it all, yet.
Great Pizza, if you are in the area, it’s a must try!
Place is exactly the same as it was 20 years ago when I went to the nearby high school. Great pizza reasonable prices plenty of seating
Thee best Italian food in Glendale. You know they’re great when they don’t deliver and are not on uber but still exist. Delicious! I am hooked on the meatball Parmesan hero and my husband loves the shrimp Parmesan.
Out of the 6-7 pizza shops in ridgewood. This is hands down the best tasting and best priced pizza in the neighborhood. People say joe and johns is the best but the price and taste don’t compare. Service can be better but still gets a 10/10 for me.
They have a big selection of pizza. Delicious. The only problem is that there is no parking lot, and no street parking because it is surrounded by bus stops and no standing signs.
Let me start off by saying the pizza was delicious! Friendly staff, clean restaurant, wheelchair accessible entrance, decent prices and great food. Their large slices are packed with flavor and many toppings to choose from. During my visit, I assumed eating one slice wouldn't be enough, so I got two. I would only recommend this if there is someone to finish the second slice after you, or if you're really starving, as you will be forcing yourself to finish them because they're just that good. I do believe the menu posted on the door was outdated, but a slice like that for $2.75 was well worth the money. I would highly recommend visiting Rosa's Pizza if you happen to be in Queens and in need of a snack or hefty meal.
Nice place in fresh pond road . If you can get window seat you can watch the enjoy watching the traffic in fresh pond or metropolitan ave . Good is also good. Service fair
I lived in Ridgewood for 4 years and this was the spot to go to for pizza, if Rocky’s was closed (minitalia). Rosa’s has so many different options so if you love variety, this is the place. You can never go wrong with the plain but pasta, tomato, white, they are all great! Chicken Caesar pizza is also delicious! The place is large, clean and the staff is friendly.
Fave pizza in Ridgewood! Even the gluten-free pizza is good, which is hard to find.
Great slices. Especially the Sicilian. A lot of seats, great service, chill vibe. Old school.
I love Rosa’s Pizza here on Fresh Pond Road. I’ve been coming here all throughout my childhood and I continue to come back whenever I can and that’s when I add new or additional photos. The pizza is the best because it’s fresh and delicious. There are always people in here buying it, so they have a quick turnover. My mom used to bring me their eggplant roll when she would come to school to do lunch duty for me at Our Lady of Hope. I still love their eggplant rolls and the others as well. I love ordering the little marinara sauce with it so I can pour some on to it. Their rolls can also be made without cheese. While I love cheese for most, they do a spinach roll that I love without the cheese. You can order it ahead of time for pickup. I always judge a pizzeria by their plain slice and theirs is the best and my favorite. I also love their Margherita slice, chicken tomato, the grandma slice, taco slice if I’m starving lol and so many more. This place has my heart and all of my cravings! I’m literally going back to get a few other things for home as well. I’ve scoured my phone for Rosa’s pizza photos, as I’ve been here plenty throughout my childhood and adulthood.
As a Glendale/Ridgewood local, I’m biased as heck, but this is something that needs to be said. Rosa’s is the absolute BEST pizza in NYC, hands-down. I’ve been going here for a good chunk of my life, and the quality is always consistent. Pizza is always hot and fresh, and they are more than willing to customize it to your liking!
My go to pizza spot that has THE best food & fantastic service! Never fails w delish food & great prices...nowadays we need to be cost effective. Always plenty of seating space available.
BEST SICILIAN PIZZA EVER !!! My son and I travel to Rosa's by mass transit over an hour and half just for this pizza ! It's a special treat !! Been to the Maspeth location when I was younger and to the Middle Village location when I lived there...always the best no matter what location !!!
Every Sunday after taekwondo class next door, I bring my kids to Rosa’s Pizza, and at this point it’s basically a sacred tradition. The kids kick, punch, bow… then immediately refuel with pizza. The slices are always fresh, the crust has that perfect crisp-but-chewy situation, the sauce is flavorful without stealing the spotlight, and the cheese is evenly melted like it actually cares about its job. My kids love it, I love it, !!!! and honestly it’s the main reason they don’t revolt after class. The staff is super friendly and never bats an eye when we roll in carrying half a taekwondo studio worth of gear. Plenty of tables, a chance to sit, relax, and enjoy a genuinely great slice ,, Rosa’s is our post-martial-arts victory lap 🍕🥋
Best pizza hands down Used to eat here 25 years ago, same guys still work there. We live in Florida now, but always stop here when we visit. I wish they would open a place in Florida Had to take pies to go as we left NY Sicilian pie is awesome
I’ve always driven by Rosa’s and I’m so glad that I finally tried it. The service is great, the staff is attentive, and the pizza is delicious. I highly recommend it and they also have parking. The BBQ pizza was delish was not overpowering with BBQ sauce. Definitely don’t skip out on the garlic knots.
Oldly but goody corner spot on fresh pond. The variety and taste of pizza is grade A. When I get a chance when I am in Queens, I go.
I haven't been here in a few years but just had the margherita slice and it was incredible. $5 per slice but the size/ingredients were worth it. (also check out the ziti slice, grandma/Sicilian, chicken Caesar salad slice, and the plain slice.)
Would give 10 star if I could. When I go to New York all I think about is getting a pizza from here. It's too good and I have never (not for lack of trying) found a place that can compare.
A hidden gem for a long time. Authentic NY pizza and Italian dishes. They have all types of slices. I have tried almost all of them over the years and have never been disappointed. The Sicilian is one of the best I've ever had. Fresh mozzarella, thick sauce, crispy bottom, and a balanced dough. Love the vodka rigatoni slice. Always grab a sfincione to go. Garlic knots are great. Rice balls are large and tasty. A must-try for any pizza enthusiast. Always freshly made with fresh ingredients. Service is always courteous and quick. Just don't ask for delivery.
I eat pizza almost every day. I’ve eaten at hundreds of pizzerias over the years but just stumbled upon this place about two years ago. WOW! Everything here is excellent. The sauce on their pizza is amazing. Not every pizza is good cold. Theirs is. I’ll take two slices home with me and eat them at room temperature and it’s just as delicious as fresh out of the oven. I’ll take pies home and freeze them two slices per zip lock because I live 25 miles away. I have 9 pizzerias within five miles of my home yet I won’t hesitate to travel the 25 miles for excellent quality pizza and service from this place. I’ve written many reviews and I always read other people’s opinions as well. I’ve never experienced anything but professionalism and friendly service from these people, that’s why I was shocked to read some of the negative reviews. I can walk in there and order a pie and watch it being made and walk out with it in about 8 minutes. Look at the cheese pie I’m posting on this review. Got it at 12:30 AM today to take out. So delicious!😋. I recommend that anyone who truly loves pizza 🍕 should try this place. I’m a simple guy when it comes to pizza (regular or Sicilian) but I notice other patrons eating all kinds of varieties of their pizza and loving it. My recommendation is to put Rosa’s of fresh pond on your bucket list…..if you’re a true pizza lover.
After not being in NY for 5 years and living my life as an expat in Spain, I had to immediately go to Rosa’s. Always great service and even better pizza. Without a doubt. I dream of this pizza often. Pictured below is one pie I tried to eat myself. I almost made it. I would love if they had a frozen version I could buy here. While there are pizza places in Spain, it’s nothing close to anything like in NY. Not by a long shot.
this place slaps and i can't believe i've never been here before. the sicilian is close to take the cake for the best (sorry that goes to L&B) but overall every slice i had was bomb as hell. line can seem a little hectic but they're on top of moving it and no one is too savage- everyone gets a hot slice. can't wait to come back.
Amazing hours! Open till at least 12am. Maybe 1 am even.. we can't get enough of the fresh tomato slice. Also tried the chicken roll-it's delicious with extra sauce. Very filling! The chicken soup …

Service is quick and friendly. Pizza was delicious. Crispy and cheesy. Sauce was not too acidic or sweet. 10/10. The vibe inside is very much an old school pizza parlor.

Best pizza in the neighborhood!!!!! Friendly staff. I've been going here for years. One of the last true places still standing in this neighborhood.
Always delicious and fresh pizza with a great price. The service is fast and efficient.
Fresh delicious pizza. Only downside is the parking! Reasonable prices, good customer service

Rosa's Pizza is a go to for pizza especially their Sicilian slice. I also love their rice balls which they serve with marinara sauce. The restaurant itself is open really late and it's large enough…
I live closest to this location, and I went to this one last night when meeting a friend for dinner. If you're not from the area, just be advised that Ridgewood itself is not known for the best parki…
overall, good pizza and clean atmosphere
Haven't had the pizza but the vodka sauce is amazing! And they sell it for you to take home. I buy it and freeze it to always have on hand its so creamy and delicious! It's worth the wait due to the packed restaurant! So I'm assuming everything else is also delicious 😋
Rosa’s is a Ridgewood classic, known for its consistently great pizza and welcoming staff—you really can’t go wrong. For a late-night bite, the fries are a must-try! They’re perfectly seasoned and absolutely delicious.
Do not be the first person in line to get pizza. The regular slices will be fresh everything else will be old. The guy sold me old Caesar pizza. The pizza is delicious.
Been going here over 40yrs, i know the Owners, there Great. Today Father's Day, ordered what I always order, I know the exact price. The waitresses did a Awful Job, should get 1 star, the owners should get 6 stars if I can give more. I had to clean the tables on my own. Also to make matters worse, the girls charged me I paid, done. Then they try to charge me again for someone else's bil, I caught it, the waitress girls are sneaky. Owners need to know. They need to get a guy waiter also, to make things better. Waitress are DISHONEST!!
Just ordered a margherita pie. While it tasted ok, it was so badly undercooked I had to bake it in the oven. Always possible it's an off day, but given this is the first time I'm trying the place, not sure I'll be going back.
White pie with pepperoni and regular with meatball. Pizza under carriage did not hold and was floppy doughy and was a heavy pie. I prefer a light crispy crunchy pizza. Had a lot of cheese and moderately topped with meatball. Flavor of the sauce was mediocre. Pizza needed salt and garlic powder for flavor. On the fresh pond strip this is really the only pizzeria to eat at. Rating 7.3
Regular neighborhood pizza place, stopped in for lunch. Slices are normal sized, crust was soft along with not being hot, just warm. Sausage slices looked a little undercooked but tasted ok. Good cheese to sauce ratio, not very greasy. I won't be back but it's not bad pizza ( I dislike bad reviews unless it's necessary)
Travelled to Queens, NY from NJ and decided to try this pizza since I heard good things about it. Bought an entire pie (Half cheese, half pepperoni) to bring back for the family. I love NY pizza, but this one hit different. The taste was not as expected and was highly disappointed. The family agreed as well. The other thing and the main reason for my comment is the rudeness of a young skinny light skin man working there. He was completely rude even to his co-workers. He had an attitude to the customers and his body language spoke a million words. Customers noticed completely as well. Not a good look, and will not return EVER to this place. I gave 2 stars just because the cashier seems like a nice person and even she complained to an older co-worker about the guy’s attitude. It’s time to have a talk with this dude.
Didn’t taste fresh. Chicken had slightly freezer burnt taste & aside from that had really had no other flavor. Cashier walked away while I tapped my card. No thank you or have a good day. Nothing redeemable this visit.
The pizza is good I just think they are super over priced !!!! Also I feel like they are not very welcoming!!!!I also bought a lasagna and never again !!!it had a bunch of tomato sauce and hardly no meat and no cheese!!! if you’re over pricing for things then give people what they are paying for !!!
UNWELCOMING EXPERIENCE! The variety of pies is great! The pizza was very good. The staff on a Sunday afternoon (9/28/25) were unfriendly and cold. Almost as if they couldn't be bothered. I had never been there and didn't know the ordering/serving/paying routine. No smiles, no "don't worry about it". Callous. Unfriendly. Unwelcoming.
The pizza here is good, one of the better spots in the neighborhood. But every time I come in, the TV is tuned to Fox News and the staff are joking around loudly, sometimes making political comments in earshot of customers. 3 times they’ve forgot to put my order in the oven because they’re too busy with their Fox News. I come here to enjoy a meal, not hear about politics, so it can feel a bit uncomfortable. The food is worth it, but I wish they’d keep the atmosphere more neutral and welcoming for everyone
Really disappointed of the system and how people organize at this place. The restaurant got tons of good reviews but not for me. Our party got food except me. They forgot my order and I have to follow up over three times still missed it. I had to go to the register to order my food again. The place has huge space of seating area so it looks like food court to me because self-service is the best even they have a server, LOL.
Me and my friend went on an brunch day and we pick this place to eat and we had to get up and tell them if someone can service us then we had to wait for the person and then she took forever with t…
Absolute nightmare pizzeria DO NOT GO HERE!! Worst pizza ever. Staff is rude and dirty. There’s cockroaches and filth everywhere. Pizza is sloppy and greasy. I wouldn’t feed this to a starving dog.
They have huge rats running around in their parking lot. Omg the amount of rats in that parking lot was astonishing. Your not gonna tell me they don't make a late night stop inside after hours.
Ordered a slice of pizza and it took 35 minutes just for a slice. I paid first my mistake, when I realized that people are leaving I asked the cashier. She told me that I have to tell the cook. I did so, but I think I was ignored by the first cook, I approached again another cook and ordered it again. Guess what he ignored me. I thought he did my order. When I'm asking for a refund, that's the only time the cook prepared my order. Service is really bad, I'm not happy, this is my experience and I'm not going back to this place. Even if they say your Pizza is good👎. It is nothing, your service is really bad.
Last night I bought baked manicotti. The manicotti cheese inside the pasta was beginning to spoil, and the parmesan was clumpng and spoiled. Usually the manicotti is excellent. I am very disappointed. This was my go to place.
Rosa Pizza Isn’t What It Used to Be This place used to be great — fresh, crispy, tasty pizza every time. But now, it feels like everything has changed. When you order, they just take a cold pizza from the display (probably made hours ago), reheat it, and hand it to you. Even the Chicken Scissors pizza, which has salad on top, gets thrown in the oven — so the salad comes out wilted and gross. They used to make each pizza fresh, box it, and put your name on it. Now they cut corners, and the quality shows. Honestly, it doesn’t even deserve one star anymore. Really disappointing.
I would eat here regularly if the owner wasn't creepily sitting in the back creating a very uncomfortable atmosphere for the employees & local customers alike. I get the sense no one likes him because he's just there, not really working, just sort of taking up space. It's wild too because he's only in his 60s. He acts like he's 90. Sorry but as a working New Yorker, I don't need to deal with creepy business owners who clearly inherited what they have & do nothing to uplift the community they do business in or the customers who spend our hard earned money here. There's a Popeyes on the same block & they are nice & not creepy. His staff are wonderful & friendly, & refuse to say anything bad about him even tho it's clear that he really has personal issues. If you are looking to hire good restaurant workers who definitely deserve better, offer the staff here an escape. No one should be stuck in that type of environment. If you are the owner of this restaurant, I hope you heal. ❤️
Awful fast food , ordered lasagna came out cold from inside like frozen but warmed up not fresh , cold bread couldn’t even toast it on over , low grade cheese and products that’s why it was cheaper. I almost went to Wendy’s but taught I’ll give it a shot. cuz last time I had veal masala was terrible also . fried veal very thin sauce gave me a heartburn. Never back
Ive been going here for awhile their sicilians used to be my favorite pizza around however their food quality has gotten worse and worse, they recently redid the place and the way you order is a little dumb because of the lack of communication between the register and the pizza chefs. I recently went in ordered 2 slices and a mozzarella stick to go they were all ice cold . I liked it better in the old system where you order then go to the register. new tech makes them visibly more lost and their food quality is suffering from it. It took them 22 minutes to get my food out, and was ice cold
