I love coming to this diner especially after church on Sundays. For valentines or Mother’s Day they give you a rose. You don’t see this kind of attention to customers at other places. It very much family oriented. Two 👍🏽👍🏽

One of my FAVORITE diners . Their steak and eggs are to die for. If i were to choose my last meal, it'd be their steak and eggs. 10 out of 10 recommend. Their waitresses have been there for years and they're so efficient and sweet . Service is a 10/10 as well. Just go try it yourself !

Honestly this was the best diner I've ever went to. My wife and I ordered the combo lasagna with veggies on the side and chicken noodle soup. $11!!!!! You definitely can't beat that price. The lasagna was so delicious and the soup as well. My son had the chicken tender with French fries. I was impressed to see my son eating all the chicken since he is very picky. The service was extraordinary. They are always asking if you need anything. Friendly and delicious food. Definitely coming here again since my wife can't stop talking about their food. The perfect chill diner. We try to come every other Sunday. Never disappoints.

My family loves this place. The food is solid, and the service is quick. There are plenty of options but more importantly, the people who work here are great. They give my toddler a lollipop after his meal, and he gets so hyped for our special trips to the diner because of it all.

From 1992 to 2002, almost every Saturday, we (friends) ate breakfast here. We never had any problem with food quality. The eggs over easy made to perfection with home fried and from time to time I will switch to pancakes. Reasonable pricing back then and always make sure tip was always included. I have many great memories. I left NYC in late August 2002. I will never forget this place and the atmosphere.

I stop by to eat , I was very hungry , I did not have time to wait and I ask the lady at from that I need it to wash my hands , She say ok , but the part thar I love is that the waiter that serve my food had a beautiful smile , I been having a very bad morning , with no food on my belly , no coffee , and I only wanted a plate of food and coffee to get my self better , a smile on people says a lot 😀 , So thus young lady the waiter smile , she also ask me if everything was fine , wich I say yes , sometimes we go through hard days , but I know there are angels watching over you , a kind words or a smile helps you go through the day , Thank you tasty dinner for wonderful employees like the wonderful lady that got my food .

I been going here since 2005 I was a little kid and I still remember distinct memories from this place with my Family. Now that I get to bring my daughter here and my family it feels just like home . The food tastes the same the atmosphere .it kinda tight in the space but really we go to eat the tasty food so that's really the least of my concerns. it's quick paced but that's totally fine as you know everyone wants their food and collect bill quickly cus we are busy individuals. So I love that this diner never disappoints and has a ready "Freshly made dish in matter of minutes of ordering . 🙌

Been here several times. Always very pleased. Good food and fast friendly service. The customer service here is stellar. All the servers here, even if they aren’t yours, will check in you as they pass your table. They ask how the food is, do you need anything else and can they offer you more coffee? Other restaurants should take a lesson from this place. Whomever is hiring this staff, knows how to pick quality people and train them properly. Well done Tasty’s!

This place offers breakfast, lunch and dinner staying true to the diner format. They serve incredible food with affordable prices, I recommend coming here for a nice meal with Friends and family at any time of the day. You’ll be greeted by the amazing staff that works quickly and efficiently even with a full house, came in while it was packed and was seated after 10 minutes. Truly an amazing place in a wonderful city.

Loved it ! Always do. Gets a little crowded on weekends but it's worth the wait. Wish they'd get the Green light for drinks. Some mimosas would go great with the food. However, I do love the coffee. The ladies are great very attentive and personable. If you're ever in town stop by for a bite.

I live in the area and finally made it in! If you’re looking for a Diner come here - it has all your classics and the staff is kind. I came with two other friends and did some crafting at the table and the staff were more than accommodating ⭐️

Good and prompt service — it was a full house inside and the host offered for us to wait for a table where we’d be more comfortable, which was thoughtful and didn’t even take 5 minutes. My partner and I got breakfast sandwiches (BEC and SEC) and split them. Both were delicious! I’ve gotten the pancakes and chicken/waffles here in the past which were also pretty solid 👍 Also just has the perfect diner atmosphere, exactly what you want for a slow NYC morning. I love how you see families, friends, club kids, workers, couples… everybody loves Tasty!

The pancakes are amazing the sausages are well done the chicken wraps are my favorite The bussers are quick and fast the waiting time is not bad at all everything went quickly and smoothly love that! Would highly recommend definitely coming back more often!! 10/10

I had a good experience here. Despite it being a very busy day, our food was served in a timely fashion, was well-presented, and the server was friendly. My friend's pancakes were fluffy and delightful, and I had no room for dessert after my two-egg platter. I loved the nostalgic feel of the restaurant. For these reasons and more, I will continue to return to Tasty' Diner.

Was it better back in the 2000s and before? Definitely, but it’s still a solid diner. Their pancakes are amazing, it has that old school NY diner taste to them, that I crave from time to time. Fair portions, and cheaper than chain restaurants like ihop. Just wish they served better sausage links, but still decent so can’t complain.

Great cozy little diner for breakfast or brunch for 2-4 people. If you don’t like to be cramped, then this isn’t for you. Difficult to fit large parties. I didn’t give this a 5-star because the first time I went the food was great and the service was ok. The second time I went the food and service was just ok, not impressive. This place is always packed and people have to wait a few minutes to be seated.

Nice neighborhood eatery... Been going to that same location for more than 30 years. The present owners made the diner feel homey (in a good comfy way), food is good. Prices are affordable for most. Salads, sandwiches, burgers all good. Whenever I'm shopping on Myrtle Avenue, if I don't eat pizza, I stop for lunch. :)

The food was tasty. Portions were great! Loved the sweet potato fries. Decaf coffee was good too; too bad I could only have 1 cup as they ran out. Would definitely go again.

This was my first time at Tasty's, a friend lives in the neighborhood and it's a go to for their breakfast. The service was excellent! Sara was friendly and funny. Food was delicious, I had the Banana Foster's French Toast. It had bananas and lots of walnuts along with a caramel sauce. The menu had great variety, I almost couldn't choose. 😉 I'm looking forward to my next visit, I hope you enjoy Tasty's too.

Great little hole in the wall. Prices are a bit high for Diner food. $12 for eggs sausage and home fries is too much. At most with tax should be less than $10. But the food was good and Tasty. Would have given 5 stars but again the prices are too high.

Great spot for a classic diner experience. Decent prices and fast service. However, they do charge a fee when paying with card called a “technology fee”.

I finally decided to try this diner out. While the food is just ok, the friendly service really showed and made my experience pleasant. Their hot cocoa was really good and would definitely come back for it.

The employees were very friendly and sweet. Very generous. The atmosphere is very lively! Honestly it was just the food. It was okay but it wasn't something that left an impression for me to want to go back and eat again, But that's just me. To others, feel free to go and experience the place! I'm my own person and for others it could be very different.

I was on the fence if I should review Tasty Diner. I ordered a eggs Benedict and a coffee and my son ordered a ham and cheese sandwich on white bread with fries. The food is good but over priced. What left me with a bad taste in my mouth... is when handed my bill, it stated $39.00. I was taken aback. I went to the woman behind the register and ask if she would look over my bill because it seemed overpriced. She walked away, stern faced. Disappeared and then I saw our waitress go over to the back counter. The cashier, tells me... “29.00 please! No reaction at all, no apology from her or the waitress. Energetically something felt off.

To be honest, I've been coming to Tasty's Diner for many year's. My only complaint is that depending on the line cook on duty; you'll see whether or not the food served is going to taste good. All of the breakfast I ordered tasted like a type of food I never ordered. That being bacon. The Staff & waiters are very courteous. There are time's when the food is very good & well made. It can be very delicious. The food is honestly much better than other places I've visited.

I got charged 2.75 (incl tax) for a side of a toast! plus the food came all smashed up. The food is really good, but need to cut the toast charge and pay more attention how you pack delivery food.

This was my first time here. I had a grilled chicken greek salad and really enjoyed it. They had booster seat for my toddler. The thing I didn't like, the atmosphere gets stuffy with all the cooking going on. They need more ventilation. I knew we were definitely smelling like grease/food on leaving. Otherwise it was good service-wise and taste delicious.

Food is amazing. Just the only issue is when I order on uber eats or any platform that requires a delivery option I seem to never get my Utensils or condiments needed to eat the food. Bad customer service on that part. But all in all food is great.

The food was alright I mean the breakfast wasn’t spectacular but it was alright the hashbrowns weren’t cooked crisp like I asked though, and they charged me an extra 3.99 for chocolate chip pancakes and just gave me barely a handful on top😒 be fr!

The service of the food for the price I paid was ridiculous.

This use to be my go to. Honestly the food is not all that. We started with the older lady and once we got our meals they were wrong I had to ask the younger lady to help me since the other one was running her mouth. Anyway we ordered bacon got the most greasiest sausage ordered home fries got hash browns and the juice lets juice say it came along with a fly and the utensils were dirty. This should not had happened since it wasn’t crowded.

As a lifelong diner enjoyer I was eager to try out a local favorite. Sadly, the experience was very disappointing. I was asked to please sit at a two top, which as a solo diner is completely reasonable, except that the restaurant was almost completely empty. Why did they need the table so badly? I wouldn’t have sat at a four top if they hadn’t said anything, I don’t know, just not very welcoming. I ordered a cheese burger, medium, with fries and a coffee. Coffee was pretty terrible even by diner standards but the burger was the biggest disappointment. Check the 2nd picture. That’s past mid well, nearly well done. Nothing was seasoned. No salt on the burger or fries. There’s salt on the table, sure, but that’s not an excuse to not season your food. The whole time I was eating, the server didn’t touch the table a single time. No water, no check in. Just asking me if I wanted the check when I was done. Don’t get me wrong, everyone was polite, but like I said. The restaurant was almost empty. Sorry folks, I know you can do better.

Very disappointing after reading reviews and looking at the photos online. Food was extremely bland. Bacon tasted and looked old, the cheese in my omelette didn’t melt and the prices on the menu were different than what was charged on the bill.

Portion is not worth price. At this point I’m better off going to a deli.

The worst breakfast I've had in a long time. They put the grits in the same container as the eggs Benedict. Making the container so hot it cooked the egg completely. I've never seen a place deliver a side order of grits, not on the side. It was also the gummiest texture I've ever tasted. Overall just terrible. The egg creme tasted sour and not sure if the milk was bad or what. Also the $8 egg sandwich was so light on fillings I couldn't belive it. Better off going to a Bodega. If I had added cheese it would have been $10 and still not worth it.

825am Friday morning. The place is empty and I'm a solo diner just wanting to have a quick comforting breakfast before work. I asked if I may sit in a booth as they were all open except one. I was told I couldn't so I left. I could've went to bill's diner down the road if I didn't care about the ambiance. I just wanted to sit in a booth, feel comfort and eat my breakfast. But that's too much to ask for. Especially in an empty diner. Anyway I immediately left because I'm not going to beg, and I went to bill's instead. I used to solo diner here and sit in the booths all the time before Covid by the way.

I have been going to this place for years. But I went on Sunday and couldn’t be more disappointed. I wondered if she heard me right because of the mask. I ordered two egg sandwiches one with bacon and cheese. The other only bacon .... it came only bacon. My only guess is that you read what she is writing or check the bag before you go. And yes I agree with every one here. Since this start and wearing a mask. They are not the only place raising their prices. I am disappointed because this place has always been part of the neighborhood . I guess look for another place.

I came here on 2 separate occasions & both times were disappointing. I will never eat at this establishment again. The food is bland as hell, the syrup came out like water all over my son's waffle when I brought it to the waitress attention she said oh ok I'll change the syrup for u? Like what?? I need a new waffle as well?? She just looked at me frustrated & walked off. Extremely not pleased with them overall...definitely not returning to this place EVER!

Kudos to the manger/cashier in blue for kicking out my diabetic mother from sitting in a booth after, I had to step out to take a business call. Telling her she can’t sit in a booth alone while she’s having a diabetic episode. Never mind the fact he saw us both waiting for the booth and asked the both of us to wait while they cleared the table. A real class act. There was a gentleman in a booth by himself in the far right however she couldn’t sit alone for a few minutes as there was a long invisible line out the door with about 5 available tables on the floor. Maybe if he treated all his customers with respect and some dignity that line would actually exist. There’s a reason most people prefer Glendale dinner and this incident solidified what people in the neighborhood consistently say about the customer service great job 👏🏽

Great food, terrible service. Place is too small and atmosphere is messy. They don't keep track of the people waiting. Staff tend to ignore the customers 🙄. Food awesome, but the rest and the struggle is not worth it.

The service is really bad . The waitress look upset like they are doing you a favor . I honestly don’t like the attitude you get out of your home to have a good time no to have a frustrating moment with the waitress. Rude. Ordered food. Spent $50.00 on my order. Called them to inform they’re missing an item of my meal. The lady taking orders advised they would send it to me. 20mins go by I call back to get an update because at this point my food is getting cold. (I’ll add I’m 3 blocks away & didn’t pick up because I’m sick) A different lady picks up the phone and tells me it will go out when a driver comes back, I ask for an eta. She can’t give me one. At this point I as for a supervisor or manager and she tells me there isn’t one, but I can speak to the other lady. Then she proceeds to tell me that my best choice is a to continue to talk to her because the other lady will “curse me out” and tell me to wait. Like what?! Not sure who the owner is and what makes them think that behavior is ok but, this is unacceptable. Then to top it off they bring my missing item. The driver call and tells me your food is on the door and hangs up. This is the last time I support this establishment. There’s better places with great customer service in the area.

I ordered a regular hamburger with everything,I ssk them for cheese, it didn't come with ,the hit chocolate I ask tomputit with milk and it came all cold and waterly, sane thing with the hamburger..👎🤢

$8 for 2 slices of bacon and 1 egg not even cheese on an untoasted Kaiser roll. Worst grits ever and they packed hot as hell grits with my over easy eggs which were cooked through by the time they got to me. Never again.

I will never dine here again. The customer service is atrocious. The food was overrated. I worked in customer service for over 10 years. I came in and try to joke, make them laugh and I received attitude. They made feel uncomfortable. And they was not attentive to our table.The only nice one there was the asian waitress. The other had the nerve to ask for tip. I will never come here again.

What's going on with tasty's? They used to be so on point but lately. They've been delivering sloppy food.at expensive prices My eggs are watery. The French fries taste like they were fried in yesterday's oil. The coffee is always spilled or missing from my order. What is going on Fail fail fail? Get it together, then they send me a replacement order of fries that are burnt And killesley thrown in a brown paper bag (L). The food and table service is mediocre, overpriced. Management here is repulsive, dealing with them is like pulling teeth. Save yourself a headache and find another diner to spend your money at, this business doesn’t deserve it.
