when i think of community i think of restaurants like this one. the music was good, the staff was kind and the food was amazing. after a really long week it was nice to come inside and relax into the unfamiliar but familiar environment. please spend your money here and eat down. they deserve it more than most

Very nice place nestled in Ridgewood Queens. I had a turkey burger with onions and swiss cheese. It was delicious. Service was very good too and the coffee was great!

"My family & I had a fantastic experience at Tasty’s diner last weekend! The classic bacon and eggs breakfast was cooked exactly as requested, and the thick-cut, crispy bacon was a standout. The presentation was simple but satisfying. Our server, Eric, was incredibly attentive, making sure our coffee mugs were never empty and checking in on us with a friendly smile, even during the busy morning rush. The diner has that perfect, cozy, old-school atmosphere with the red & black vinyl booths. While the wait for a table was about 10-15 minutes on a busy day , the efficient service once we were seated more than made up for it. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a reliable, hearty breakfast!"

I had a good experience here. Despite it being a very busy day, our food was served in a timely fashion, was well-presented, and the server was friendly. My friend's pancakes were fluffy and delightful, and I had no room for dessert after my two-egg platter. I loved the nostalgic feel of the restaurant. For these reasons and more, I will continue to return to Tasty' Diner.

Was it better back in the 2000s and before? Definitely, but it’s still a solid diner. Their pancakes are amazing, it has that old school NY diner taste to them, that I crave from time to time. Fair portions, and cheaper than chain restaurants like ihop. Just wish they served better sausage links, but still decent so can’t complain.

An absolutely solid and classic spot with cheaper prices than you’d find at most NYC diners. Also an historical neighborhood establishment at this point! You won’t be treated like a king but you’ll eat like one. The waitresses are sweet!

I am sitting in Tasty Diner right now !! My breakfast was delicious. Eggs, grits, hash browns & Bacon…yess 2 meats lol. Greattt Service, food came out very quickly… they are definitely on Point and I will be back. Environment is very relaxed & comfortable!! Overall a Great Experience!! Thank You !

As a lifelong diner enjoyer I was eager to try out a local favorite. Sadly, the experience was very disappointing. I was asked to please sit at a two top, which as a solo diner is completely reasonable, except that the restaurant was almost completely empty. Why did they need the table so badly? I wouldn’t have sat at a four top if they hadn’t said anything, I don’t know, just not very welcoming. I ordered a cheese burger, medium, with fries and a coffee. Coffee was pretty terrible even by diner standards but the burger was the biggest disappointment. Check the 2nd picture. That’s past mid well, nearly well done. Nothing was seasoned. No salt on the burger or fries. There’s salt on the table, sure, but that’s not an excuse to not season your food. The whole time I was eating, the server didn’t touch the table a single time. No water, no check in. Just asking me if I wanted the check when I was done. Don’t get me wrong, everyone was polite, but like I said. The restaurant was almost empty. Sorry folks, I know you can do better.

Very disappointing after reading reviews and looking at the photos online. Food was extremely bland. Bacon tasted and looked old, the cheese in my omelette didn’t melt and the prices on the menu were different than what was charged on the bill.

The food and table service is mediocre, overpriced. Management here is repulsive, dealing with them is like pulling teeth. Save yourself a headache and find another diner to spend your money at, this business doesn’t deserve it. Whoever is answering these reviews so politely must be unaware of how this establishment actually operates.
