We go there with our grandson, our son ,husband and n I. Food is consistently terrific and great Service. Very friendly n always ready to get what you need . Prices are perfect,and inexpensive. It is FANTASTIC for a meal before or after shopping.

Came here after a day at Splish Splash and everything was spot on. Just what we needed after a day in the water. I had the Gru Minion burger and it was phenomenal. It's a special burger promoting the new Minions movie so get it while you can. With a side of pancakes? Ohh 👌🏼 hit the spot. The blueberry lemonade was delicious as well. Our server was quick and efficient. Some iHops are hit or miss but literally no complaints here!

It's one of my favorite places to go for a breakfast meal. The serving size is more than enough to satisfy your hunger, especially with pancakes on the side. It is a great place to bring your family, and the service is always well attended to. Bare in mind that on weekends, expect a waiting list to be seated, but well worth the wait.

I've been going to this IHOP for years. One of the BEST ones on the island by far. It gets busy quite often because of how popular and good it is. The people are always nice, the atmosphere is always great, and the food is always great. I've been to many IHOPs across the island and they never come close to this one. Top quality service. I'm so glad they made it to Riverhead when that building was a Joe's Crab Shack. My only complaint about the place is the kids screaming when it gets packed, but that's kind of out of their control. Parents should be responsible for their kids.

Service was beyond the best I ever had! I’ve never had such service as I did by our waiter Kriss A. It made my experience eating at an IHOP Memorable. The food came on time, warm, and delicious. I would eat at this establishment every day if only I live near by.

It's always a great time eating at various IHOP's in Suffolk County. Riverhead seems to have the largest dining facility. No wait to grab a table considering it was almost 730pm when sat down. Angel was amazing, and service was stellar. It's great to see people smile at work. Hot chocolate with whipped cream is a must, especially in wintertime.

I stopped in to pick up a mobile order for me and my family last Sunday and had a great experience. It was very clean inside, and the host was very helpful. We were a little early so we waited for a few minutes which we expected but we left with hot food. We were all happy with our food, the customizations were all correct and we will definitely be back!

We had a very good breakfast here today. My food wasn't as hot as would have liked but it was still good. Restaurant was clean and well organised despite it being a busy Sunday morning. Our server was very friendly and attentive.

I am writing this nearly a month later because this experience was so good it has been on my mind and I've been meaning to write out just how great the service was. We got here before the church crowd so there was no wait, excellent service courtesy of Patricia who honestly carried our family mini-vacation/getaway brunch. I was feeling indecisive between the tres leches versus the strawberry cheesecake. I asked Patricia which she prefers and she was quick to say the cheesecake. She took our order without writing anything down, no ipad, nothing. Verified verbally, came back and gave each of us exactly what we ordered without having to ask or us switching with each other. We were collectively VERY impressed with Patricia. We all left full, happy with our choices, and she even took a great family photo of us too. Thank you again Patricia. That young lady has unlimited potential.

This place is very nice and all the staff were friendly. I recommend going early if you would like sitting. They do not take reservations on Sundays. Their food was delicious and on point. They were very fast with everything and very attentive. The only downside was their hot chocolate was way too sweet! Highly recommend.

The food was good didn't look like the menu pictures. Place wasn't busy so you would think our server would be on the ball making sure we doing okay, needed anything you know doing his job. But nope he would rather talk to his co-workers and just leave it at that. Will go again just hope he isn't the server.

Overall had a good experience here. Came with a dog and they were very accommodating, especially our waitress who went out of her way to make him comfortable which was nice. The food was decent, but the hash browns were not what I’d expect at all (seemed soggy and came in a block.) otherwise was happy everything

Probably the cheapest ordered breakfast I’ve seen in my life. I ordered coffee, pancakes, hash browns, sausage, eggs, and BLT sandwich for under 20 dollars with their happy hour menu. That alone is an unbeatable deal and as long as the food is decent you can’t ask for much more. The service was friendly and the restaurant was clean.

The food and service were fine. However it was one of the coldest days of the year and it was freezing in the dining room. I had to change my order to a takeout order because it was too cold to eat in there.

I good place for pancakes and/ or breakfast ... all day long. I enjoyed my wholewheat avocado toast with tomatoes, but the poached egg I asked for separately was hard boiled ... but I just placed it on my toast & the combo was delicious! 😋😉 I also liked seeing their support for America's Vet Dogs ... that I and my friend were also happy to support! 🙂👍

Highly recommend (the very thick) Strawberry & Banana French Toast Combo (ask for fresh Strawberries which might cost a bit more, but sooo worth it). Also the Belgium Waffle Combo a solid go to every time. The only criticism I have is I mentioned to the server it was my daughter's Birthday. She offered to sing Happy Birthday, which she seemed to have forgotten which was ok, but she kept forgetting to bring her the Birthday pancakes. I didn't want to take away from the good day we were having so I didn't keep bringing it up. Other than that it was a nice time & we enjoyed our meal & time there.

Had the most amazing breakfast while waiting for my car to get serviced. We were seated right away in José's section. He was fantastic. Came over right away and took our drink orders. We both got tea. It comes with 2 tea bags in a nice pot that keeps the water hot. We ordered our food and it came out pretty quickly and was delicious. I tried the spicy poblano eggs Benedict and it was nicely spicy. I enjoyed it. My husband had an egg white omelet and he also liked it. All the ingredients were fresh and tasted really good. We will definitely be back

My boyfriend and I went here around 1 pm on a Sunday. We were sat immediately and given menus. However no one came and helped us for about 15 minutes despite it not being too busy. No big deal I understand it happens. Once the waitress came we were able to put in our drinks and food and it was very speedy from there on. We both got griddle combos which you have the choice of two flavored pancakes, 2 eggs, 2 pieces of meat and hash browns. I got the Mexican tres leches pancakes and oh my gosh they were yummy! My boyfriend got strawberry banana which he enjoyed also. The hash browns were really great and crispy as well. The only other issue was at the end they said the card system wasn’t working and requested we pay in cash. Luckily I was able to do that. Overall I think we may try a different location next time.

4 adults 3 kids. All ordered basically same thing. We sat down ordered fairly quick. 3 other tables of about 4 or 5 people each sat down after we ordered. 2 of them got their food, ate it, paid and left before we got our food. First off, the server was horrible...never asked how our food was or if you wanted another drink when you could see it's low. My waffles were cold. It was just horrible, and IHOP in Bayshore, Florida, Georgia, and Virginia appreciates their customers, but not here. I love IHop but the one in Riverhead needs to retrain your servers, especially when they are not busy. 1. to ask, is everything good? 2. When drinks are empty to ask if they want more... not bring out cold food or the biscuits in gravy 15 minutes after their food was brought. This was the worst...please do better!!!!

Very nice and spacious place. Friendly people. The only downfall was the home fries were over cooked to the point they were dark brown with a hard crispy crunch, and the filling inside of the crepe was not delicious, it was ok. You can taste the grainy like filling. If your going for pancakes, your good. The pancakes were fluffy, soft, flavorable and simply delicious! 😊

We went during prime time, Saturday morning. Needless to say, it was packed! Therefore, the service was kind of slow. The food is OK, but I would just as soon go to a diner. The kids were really excited for their cupcake pancakes, but they ended up having too much sugar, even for my kids! Therefore, they didn't finish them. Plus, it isn't cheap. Breakfast for 2 adults and 3 kids came to 90 bucks, including tip. Overall, we did it just to say we did it, but we would choose a different place for the few times we go out to breakfast as a family.

The whole experience was just ok... And it would be nice if they learned how to cook bacon to make it crispy. Also, the presentation wasn't good. The plate looked sloppy. Added, the silverware was dirty too.

We have been going to IHOP for about 30 years and to this location for about 5 years. It's a beautiful clean big location. Here's the problem, the server we had last night did not listen whether it was asking for water or butter etc. The restaurant was not crowded at all I had asked a server about over 55 menu item , my wife mentioned nothing about this menu. She ordered a double BLT and after a very long 15 minutes they served her the over 55 BLT which is in my picture below and I believe it was 1199 and I would not even give you $5.99 for it. My wife was disgusted so she sent it back and she did not want anything else but the server did not even ask her if she wants anything else so she had to sit there and watch me eat and we had to go to a Taco Bell quite honestly down the road afterwards so my wife could eat... Unbelievable Lastly as others have said the fountain drinks are ridiculously overpriced and they only come in one size so you can't even order a small one. While I'm on a rant unless the server was wrong how could they only have two salad dressings when they have many items that can you utilize salad dressings I mean really IHOP..

Been going here for years but it's on the decline steadily... food quality is getting worse every time I go. Crazy to pay $50 for breakfast for two people, don't get that much food and the food you do get is terrible ..Done with this place.

Our server was excellent, but the kitchen was terribly slow. Our server apologized three times for the long wait. The coffee is expensive at about $2.89 per cup (served in a small carafe). The scrambled eggs looked and tasted fake, like they poured out of a carton. The two pancakes were small and tasted OK, but not great. The broccoli was rubbery and chewy. I left hungry. We had the senior discount... Maybe that means smaller portions, rather than an actual monetary discount on a full-sized meal. We were disappointed. I would have given one star but our server was nice. Spend a couple of extra dollars and go to a real diner.

Went last night. My son and I have mild peanut allergies, not bad enough to kill us but enough to make us sick. I ordered maple bacon pancakes and when they came out it was peanut butter. I didn't realize it until I ate some. If I had eaten more I would of left in an ambulance. No one seemed to care that much, and my wife asked me not to make a scene so I finished and we left. My son and I have been up sick all night. I called this morning and got hung up on called back said I must of been accidentally hung up on was given the manager and then HUNG UP ON AGAIN when he asked me for my information. Since no one wants to do anything about it here's a review for the world to see.

The service was amazing just dislike the miscommunication. Call ahead of time to see if children eat free between 4-10 I was told they do than when I arrived I ask again before I was seated to be told they no longer do that promotion. Instead of doing the offer which was told to me on the phone all the manager could say was sorry. She should of accommodate for her worker mistake which she knowledge in front of me instead of brushing it off.

Always a disappointment. Food seems like it's from a drive-through, and service is just okay. Won't be back anytime soon. Pass this place and head down the road to Lolly's Hut, a little hole in the wall breakfast/lunch joint that serves up amazing food at low prices. You might have to wait five minutes for a table. Don't go in on Wednesday unless you want to sit and hang out since food is slow coming out that day, but the rest of the week it's super fast.

My kids loved their food but we however, did not love ours. I ordered eggs over easy and I kid you not the egg looked like it was cracked onto my plate and sent out. I don’t even think it hit the heat before arriving on my plate. Our waitress was super sweet and lovely, but for $42 worth of our food there were too many imperfections for us. I’ll be going back to give them another chance, perhaps they had an off day, but I’m hesitant based on our experience.

IHOP offers gluten free options for their pancakes. This is both on their website as well as in the restaurant. 2 stars because although its advertised this location in riverhead does NOT actually offer gluten free any longer. The option should be removed from their menu.

Unfortunately, this was the most disappointing food experience I've had in a very long time. After being seated by a sweetheart of a hostess, my friends and I, who were very much looking forward to a tasty breakfast for dinner and finally getting to try the burgers they were trying so hard to promote, we sat for 20-25 minutes without a waiter/waitress to come over to even offer to get us drinks. Even though we had all decided on our orders, we were sadly unable to place them and ended up leaving to take our business elsewhere. We will definitely not be back, and I hope the rest of the East End will stick to the local diners we can rely on.

The service was good at first when we were seated and got our drinks after that the waitress didn’t come back out to take our order or refill our drinks until 20 minutes later. After she took our order and we received our food she didn’t come back we were sitting there with empty glasses and plates for 40 minutes.We had to ask another waitress to get her from the back so we could pay and leave.

It was our first time here since it opened and it wasn't the greatest experience. We sat down, ordered our food, received my coffee, but my husband and daughter didn't receive their drinks yet. Couple next to us sat down 15 min after us and a family of 6 was seated in a booth on other side of us 20 min after we were seated, and Everybody got served their food before us! How to flag down the waiter to find out what was going on that's why my food came out it was a bit cold and the food just didn't taste the way IHOP used to. So to sum it up will not be going back to this particular IHOP again.

Disappointed by the quality of the food and service. Ordered a burger and it was cooked to a crisp, I asked for medium rare. The service was bad because of a language barrier, our waitress spoke broken English and I just couldn't understand her. She didn't seem to understand me either. Couldn't get a straw for our drinks.

So today me and my girlfriend went to IHOP and let me just say the food was cold and disgusting. The pancakes definitely tasted microwaved, hot in the middle and then the rest cold. The whipped cream on the pancakes just slipped off the moment it got to the taper. The milkshakes barley had any flavor didn’t taste like chocolate at all. Waste of money and would recommend never to come back here. The service was plain no one came to ask me and my girlfriend how the food was, if we wanted anything else or to see how we were doing. Then it took 20 minutes to wait to get a check cause our waiter was no where to be found. Really would like to have my money back as to this was supposed to be a special date with my girlfriend that turned out a fail. Never again will I go to a IHOP!!! Very disappointing.

Very friendly when walking in. We were sat near two tables. A waitress walked past 4 times in 10 min and never came to help us. Finally she strolled over and took our drink order, mind you this is 12:30 pm prime time lunch. There was only 3 tables including us there. After another 4-5 min we got our drinks, I got unsweet ice tea asked for lemon and drink came no lemon so I had to wait another few min to get a old soggy piece of lemon. Waitress took our order, I gave it to her and she repeated back food I didn’t even mention. It was clear this waitress couldn’t be bothered being there. We were never given napkins my husband got up and took them from their station. No straws he had to do that again. It was by far the WORST service I’ve ever had. My husband go out to eat often. When we were done we waited 20 min for the check and it never came so we went to the front and asked if we could just pay so we could leave. By the way a table was sat next to us and they were smart they walked out after 8-10 min of no waitress coming over.

Awful food. Vomited 30 minutes later. Had a BLT and onion rings with a mango lemonade. Server was nice. Took the order correctly and came back to the table once or twice to check, Which was fine. Food seemed ok until it wasn’t a bit later. I will never return.

So I came here at night around 8. My partner and I were seated but a waiter didn’t come to us for over 20 minutes. When we ordered the waitress didn’t seem to understand what we wanted so we tried our best pointing to it on the menu. I’m severely allergic to pork so I needed my bacon switched with turkey bacon. When I got my food it had regular bacon, I let them know politely I can’t eat pork bacon because of an allergy and they were nice and said they’d fix it. The food was returned to me with no bacon at all. My partner had ordered a breakfast meal but was given the wrong order. We didn’t want to cause anymore confusion so we ate the food, paid and immediately left. Worst ihop experience I have ever had and sadly will not be returning. The service was absolutely horrible.

I've had breakfast here a few times in the past but this is the first and last time I'll have dinner here. The food is by far less than average fast food. Poor quality and everything is cold, old and clearly has been sitting around. The up side? The waitress kid was very nice and if it wasn't that I'm sure the majority of her pay relys on tips I wouldn't leave anything.

My wife and I were seated us soon as we walked into IHOP. We were polite and thanked the person who sat us at the booth. This was the best part of our visit here. We were sitting for over ten minutes and no server came to the table. People that came in after us were served and had their drinks. The restaurant was not busy. I stopped a server and told them the situation and she said she would get a server to us. It never happened. We were there for almost twenty minutes and we hopped out of IHOP quickly. As we went to the front three workers were at the door talking to each other instead of working. I am not able to tell you how the food was as we weren't giving the time of day. If they don't want to serve you they should tell you that before they seat you. We were dressed nice with no political statements. We don't wear hats. This should be zero stars as this place doesn't deserve one star. Stay Away!

My boyfriend and I went to eat at Ihop around 8at night and ordered a Belgian waffle with french toast. Not even 2 hours later I was puking. Most likely had food poisoning for 2 days straight. Never again!!

Went for lunch\breakfast and it was 4 of us; taste was good but all our bkfst stuff was cold and coffee warm not hot! Too bad! Not the first time it happens! We got there in RIVERHEAD at 11:30 am

Oreo milkshake tasted very foul, like the blender had not been cleaned and slightly spoiled milk or cream had been used. Scrambled eggs likewise tasted very off, as well as the hashbrowns. 5* service as they were friendly otherwise and a nice girl working there complimented my fiancé's hair. Will not return.

The food was so salty. The service unfortunately wasn’t the best maybe my waiter was new not sure but never brought us water or extra napkins. Both my husband and I had terrible headaches right after eating. They had gluten free friendly not gluten free don’t understand what that means and the waiter couldn’t explain.

10-15 minute wait turned to 25. I went up to ask how much longer and was told 30-45 more minutes 🤷‍♀️! Why not just say that in the first place??? We wasted 25 minutes there and are now driving to find somewhere else with cranky, hungry kids...,

Server was nice. Bacon looked like it was boiled in water then warmed up in the microwave. Eggs had a nasty oil slick on top of them. The ham and pancakes were alright.
