The food was absolutely amazing! I had the Butter Chicken and it was hands down the best I’ve ever had. My husband ordered the Curry Goat, and every bite was bursting with rich spices and delicious flavor. Our waiter, Joseph, was wonderful—so personable and kind, which made the dining experience even better. We will definitely be back for more!

Here's a possible rewrite: "I consistently enjoy the amazing food at this spot - the preparation and spices are always on point! However, I was a bit disappointed with the change issue during my last visit. They didn't provide my full change and I had to ask for it , which felt inconsistent with their otherwise great service. Hope they can look into it in the future to have enough change for people paying in cash.

Rotis is such a GEM in Riverview! I brought my family here for dinner when they were visiting from California because we were craving Indian food— and I’m so glad we found this spot! It’s cute, clean and spacious. The service is prompt and friendly a well. The food is full of flavor and absolutely delicious! My parents and I were very impressed! For reference, we ordered the, Aloo Gobi, Chicken boti kebab, Butter chicken, vindaloo lamb and roti garlic naan. Phenomenal food! Can’t wait to bring my fiance with me next time!

A hidden gem for Indian cuisine in Riverview, Tampa. The food was delicious and rich in authentic Indian spices. I tried the Chicken 65, which was an excellent appetizer, and there were plenty of great options for both vegetarians and non-vegetarians. Overall, the restaurant offers truly authentic Indian flavors and a wonderful dining experience.

This is about my 5th time coming here! I went with a group of 5, we ordered Paneer Tikka Masala, Butter Chicken, Chicken Saag, and two Biryani dishes pictured below (Vegetable Dum and Chicken 65). It was delicious and we had a lot left over to take home! I like the presentation - the first 3 dishes were served in silver bowls and the Biryani in clay bowls. Joseph was our server and he was very helpful and attentive!

We’re visiting from out of town so we ordered way too much food. And every bite was incredible! We got punugulu, rava dosa, paneer butter masala, chicken vindaloo and garlic naan. We will come eat here again if we’re ever back in town! Do yourself a favor and check them out!

I ordered to because they close from 3 to 5 and reopen. I had to try because I love medium to mild India cuisines. Butter chicken is always a must have for and I tried the Veg Dum Biryani. Neither disappointed. Can't wait to go back again and try other dishes.

THE WAIT IS OVER! Great Indian food near us! Since moving to Apollo Beach I've missed the kind of Indian food I've enjoyed all over Southeast Asia and larger US cities. Now we have Rotis! I had lunch there yesterday with my sister and we both enjoyed excellent dishes. We opted for vegetarian, but the menu is wide-ranging with something, and something new, for everyone. I'll be back for a dosa next time. The food was exactly what Indian food should be - cooked with skill, complex and full of flavor. The service was attentive and caring, ready to help. So happy they opened.

It was our first time trying this Indian restaurant and we absolutely loved it. The food was full of flavor and perfectly prepared. Even my 5 year old son enjoyed it for him I ordered the Chicken Majestic and couldn’t stop eating it. We’ll definitely be coming back!

I took my family of 6 to celebrate a birthday. We enjoyed the authentic Indian cuisine. Some of us requesting less hot spiced dinners. Raj, our waiter/host was very accommodating. Our dinners were delicious, and I (we) will be returning to try other dishes. (GL)

We were in the mood for Indian food today, so we headed to Rotis. We were given the option of the buffet or ordering from the menu, and we chose the buffet since it seemed like the better deal. We were not disappointed! I love flavorful food but not too spicy and there were plenty of options. I especially loved the butter chicken, white rice, and butter naan. My husband, who loves spicy food, went back multiple times to try different dishes such as the vegetable bryani, the chicken tandoori (pretty sure he tried everything) and had no complaints at all. We’ll definitely be visiting again. There was construction next door; however it did not disturb us at all.

We ordered butter chicken, saag paneer, chicken curry, chicken majestic, tandoori chicken, and naan. Every single dish was absolutely delicious and full of flavor. The butter chicken was rich and creamy, the saag paneer was fresh and comforting, and the chicken curry had a perfect balance of spices. The chicken majestic and tandoori chicken were cooked beautifully—tender, juicy, and full of taste. Even the naan was soft and fresh. What truly impressed us was that our toddlers loved the food too, which says a lot about the quality and mild, well-balanced flavors. We’ll definitely be ordering again!

Rotis Indian Restaurant & Bar is an absolute gem in Riverview. I ordered the Chicken Vindeloo extra spicy, and it was outstanding—bold, flavorful, and perfectly balanced with real heat, not just spice for the sake of it. My wife had the butter masala paneer, which was rich, creamy, and incredibly well done. We shared the punugulu, rava dosa, and garlic naan, and every single item was excellent. The punugulu were crispy and comforting, the rava dosa was perfectly thin and crisp, and the garlic naan was fresh and full of flavor. The accompanying dips and sauces—peanut- and cashew-based chutneys along with a refreshing raita—were the perfect complements to everything. We spent about $30 per person and still had plenty of leftovers, which made the experience even better. Every bite impressed us, and the quality of the food is on par with some of the best Indian restaurants I’ve had anywhere in the country. If you’re looking for authentic, high-quality Indian cuisine with incredible flavors, Rotis is a must-visit.

Most definitely recommend this place! The food was excellent. My friends and husband came here for dinner and ordered veg. Samosas which were so delicious. For our main courses we ordered chicken tiki masala, butter chicken, chicken saag and garlic naan. All I got to say is we left all the dishes clean haha everything was so tasty and seasoned perfectly. Joseph who served was so pleasant and his service was exceptional. I did a quick search of reviews for this location and the comments spoke highly of the service, food and cleanliness. Quite a few reviews spoke highly of certain buffet items such as Butter Chicken, Curry Goat, Chicken 65, Golbi Manchurian and Garlic Naan to mention a few. I made a list eager to try these items. I won’t detract from the glowing reviews as the cozy interior, service and cleanliness were as stated. We knew there would be a $20 per person charge for their Saturday buffet but was disappointed to find many empty pans a short time after opening. Butter chicken, curry goat and several other choices yielded the sauce the items were marinated in but not the item. We bought this to the servers attention but the kitchen staff seemed ill prepared to replenish the tray. We chose other tasty items and more rice than I wanted while waiting for our choice items which arrived when we paid our bill. $20 is a bit expensive for plates of rice and pans of other items that dinners seem to pass on. The crowds arriving attest to the popularity of this location and we will give Rotis another visit but check the serving line before we choose a table.

'Medium' for us, which is just right. A few reviewers state their food is "too spicy", an indication that their seasoning might be right for me. They've just opened about six months ago. From outside, it looks like a dental office. The high ceiling Indian restaurant must have combined two stores (two doors) to create a single canteenish large hall. The bar at the back is empty (perhaps two more weeks to get their liquor license?): in the meantime, you can BYOB. I think they don't charge corkage fee. I like their large plastic plates (100% melamine - Milton) - it's my plan to migrate to, after done with my breakable tableware (except the wine glasses). The utensils are canteen issue. Another happy event to report is the Blackbrick's lawsuit against me is finally closed, a week after Helen Freund's article published on Tampa Bay Times. Thank you for posting Hales Blackbrick’s rebuttal (which has since been deleted). The restaurant’s claim that I deleted and reposted the review to stay atop the review listings is misleading and disingenuous. For one thing, I have no control over Yelp engine logic for sorting their review hierarchy. Secondly, I have every right to amend my original review. To quote my attorney’s succinct statements made during the hearing: "… the review that Ms Eng posted is the same review she posted the first time. Why was that review readdressed? Because after this business came out and made a statement ….calling her abusive, she reposted it…" So after the restaurant's numerous threatening messages and the cease and desist order issued to me, I simply added the screenshots, and revised my rating from 3 stars to 1 to reflect my overall experience with the restaurant. Regarding Yelp’s legal disclaimer, it "…was placed specifically because of their behavior." The 3-star review in which I start out by saying, “Probably will return: one of better fusion restaurants in Florida…” hardly merits the vehemency of their reaction, let alone a lawsuit claiming ‘tortious interference’. If there has been anything ‘abusive’ about this whole scenario, one only needs to read some of the restaurant’s responses to other so-called ‘negative’ 1 and 2-star reviews. I come from China of the 1960’s and 70’s, during the heights of Chinese Communist Party oppression. I refuse to have a muzzle placed upon my thoughts and opinions.

The menu has many decent options. The heat on the food was hot but tasteful. The Lamb Curry was really flavorful and well priced, but could've used a bit more rice. The chicken majestic was very good, though $17 is a bit steep for the amount of chicken honestly. The garlic naan was soft, fluffy, and yummy. Orders (reasonably) take some time to fulfill so call ahead for take out, or prepared to wait some 20 to 30 minutes depending.

For a Friday evening the place wasn't really fully but you could tell many take out orders were being fulfilled, despite how busy it was the food we ordered came out quickly. The service on this night was not very good. The wait staff was only the waitress/ hostess / cashier. Helping the waitress was who I assume is the owner. Had to wait to place our order and there was no consistency on checking up on the tables once the orders were received. The food was plentiful with generous portions and prices seem fair. The taste of my meal was superb. The only other downside is that according to the staff they do not receive the tips if you put it on the card so cash for the tip is preferred. If no cash then don't tip as owner keeps it.
