The food was DELICIOUS, and our server, Hannah, couldn't be better! Pleasant, attentive, and made sure everything was good. Made suggestions on different entrees and drinks! Excellent experience all around! Thanks, Hannah!!!!

Had a spicy Bloody Mary and the prime rib with eggs. I literally cursed because it was so good, definitely coming back!

The new manager, Mike Jones, and his staff, especially Maddie, were attentive and the food was delicious. I've changed my rating to reflect this great experience." We were excited to try this restaurant—great menu and a night out we’d been looking forward to. We had 6:00 PM reservations but arrived at 5:20 hoping to grab Happy Hour drinks at the bar. We let the host, Hilary, know we were early and happy to wait, but were told our table was ready. Unfortunately, we were led through the main (and much nicer) dining room to a small, separate side room with large tables and one tiny two-top. It felt like an afterthought, not the experience we’d reserved. When we asked to sit in the main area, we were told there were no options—despite visible empty tables and our willingness to wait. The response from Hilary, was abrupt and unaccommodating, and we ultimately decided to leave and dine elsewhere. Disappointing and not what we expected from a place with such a good reputation.

This is my 3rd time dining here and I’ve always had a great experience but today was amazing. My server Tyler was so sweet and took amazing care of my sister and me. And made my birthday lunch feel very special with a free app and coupons. Calamari was delish

First time dining 9/27/25. Husband and I looking for a new restaurant and this place delivered. Great atmosphere and great service. Our waiter was so professional and attentive. Manager came by checking in on us and other customers. He was a cool guy. Definitely will be back. Thank you!!

Had Hailey today for lunch, great server. She told me she just started but couldn’t tell at all. i would definitely recommend asking her if you come in. She recommended the coconut shrimp which was very good! she did not lie and was trying to upsell us on something higher price! definitely will be back soon!

We’ve been twice and both times have been amazing! Bartenders Kaleb and Tyler are awesome. So welcoming, attentive, and great at what they do. They made it a great experience. Drinks and food are also perfect! Our new favorite spot for sure! I’ve tried the espresso martini and the berries up and both are soooo good.

In the heart of Roanoke's Main St, it's hard to miss the welcoming new corner establishment. A casual yet refined environment, Oak and Main has raised my expectations of New American cuisine in DFW. Eyeing the menu had me struggling to choose, with each option better than the last. Thankfully, one of their exceptional staff members was there to guide my meal to match my palate. Beginning with brussel sprouts apps and followed by delectable grilled fish tacos, I couldn't have been happier. All paired with a Heineken 0.0. I can only speak second hand, but my family raved about the many delicious cocktails! Give your kitchen a break and your taste buds a treat they deserve, give the folks at Oak and Main a shot! You won't regret it :)

Cade was awesome! We had a specialty bourbon drink with honey and a mango tea - to die for!! Fish tacos were amazing and the vibes are so nice on the patio. 10/10, would recommend every day!!

Me and my boyfriend have been hearing lots of good about Oak and Main. We decided to try it for ourselves and were not disappointed. We got a caesar salad and the prime queso blanco. The cheese was very yummy, food warm and a great precursor to the wonderful meal ahead of us. We got an oak street burger and the prime rib sandwhich. My burger was so good. It was cooked well done (just like I asked), the queso was melted and the burger was seasoned well. I liked the side of fries and how our server boxed up my meal. Chris was very kind and communicative the whole time. He let us know what was going on in the kitchen and his given wait times were appropriate. TLDR: I had a very nice night eating outside at Oak and Main. Will be back!

Delicious update ! As usual Oak and Main NEVER disappoints. We have eaten here several times and the food is always served hot and delicious. The menu selection is wonderful and not boring! The service is excellent. The atmosphere is good. You must try it at least once (and you will be back). This time we had the barramundi with Yukon gold potatoes, roasted Brussels sprouts and we also had the chopped salad with salmon and jalapeño sour cream dressing with roasted pumpkin seeds. Yum! For desert we ordered a Caramelized Pear Crumble. Wow!! And JP was our server. He was excellent. Original post: DELICIOUS! Wonderful flavors and dinner served quickly and steaming hot. For our appetizers we had the ⭐️fried calamari and zucchini spears. YUM! And the ⭐️roasted Brussels sprouts braised in honey sriracha glaze! YUM! Our main courses were the ⭐️grilled salmon and the ⭐️shrimp and scallops pesto penne pasta. For cocktails we had the raspberry elderflower martini WOW!! And for a desert drink we had the espresso martini. 🍸 delicious. We will be going back. I love giving good reviews. Oak and main has certainly delivered.

Oak and Main in Roanoke is absolutely amazing! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting — the perfect blend of classy and comfortable. Our server, Hannah, went above and beyond to make our experience great. She was so friendly, helpful, and attentive without ever feeling overbearing. The food was fantastic — every dish was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. You can really tell the kitchen takes pride in what they serve. The drinks were just as impressive, perfectly mixed and full of flavor. Overall, Oak and Main has easily become one of my favorite spots in Roanoke. Between the great food, amazing service, and welcoming vibe, it’s the kind of place you can’t wait to come back to. Highly recommend!

Absolutely fantastic! Great service and atmosphere. Cannot wait to go back. We had the crab cakes for the appetizer, steak and salmon for dinner and espresso cheesecake for dessert. 10/10 cocktails were amazing too!

Everything was amazing!!! We got the Brie, ranch water, st Arnold’s root beer, blackened grouper and French dip sandwich with the crispiest fries I’ve ever had. Erica & JP at the bar absolutely smashed it. I’ve already told 2 friends about it and we haven’t even left yet. We will be back!!!!

There were seriously so many mouth watering options. luckily, I was with a group that likes to share so I was able to try several items. Every bite from everything I had was delicious but my favorite, hands down, was the prime rib. They actually run a prime rib special on Sunday's for $29. Huge portions. definitely enough to share. The lobster BLT and barramundi fish were very close seconds. You cannot skip dessert. even though you will be too full, trust me, take it home and eat later. Your welcome. I highly recommend the chocolate layered cheese cake. I was scared it would be too rich but no-perfectly balanced and it's like 3 desserts in one! Service was impeccable. Our server was wonderful. The manager, Joey was the best! Everyone made sure we were all very well taken care of. It felt like a fine dining experience yet relaxed and warm. My new favorite restaurant and yours too!

A Perfect Anniversary Celebration at Oak and Main! My wife and I celebrated our 9th wedding anniversary at Oak and Main tonight, and it was truly a five star experience from start to finish. The food was absolutely delicious, with every dish from appetizer to dessert exceeding our expectations. What made the evening even more special was the lovely anniversary card the team prepared for us. it was already waiting on our table when we arrived. That thoughtful touch was incredibly sweet. A massive thank you goes out to Tyler, the manager, who personally ensured every detail of our celebration was perfect. His attentiveness made us feel incredibly special. And a huge shout out to Chedler for providing us with amazing service throughout the evening. We're so grateful to each and every member of the team for making our anniversary dinner so memorable. We highly recommend Oak and Main! A true gem!

I could review each dish that I’ve had but every review would just be 5 star praise. The service is always amazing and the atmosphere is upscale but also very comfortable. They recently started doing Brunch (my wife’s favorite!) and we both had the Lobster Benedict which was definitely one of the best Benedict dishes I’ve ever had.

From start to finish, our experience at Oak and Main was exceptional. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel at home immediately. We chose to sit at the bar, which had a fantastic atmosphere. We ordered a variety of dishes, starting with the meatballs, Brussels sprouts, and brie with crusted almonds. Each dish was perfectly prepared and bursting with flavor. We also tried the lobster BLT, which was an absolute standout. On Mondays, Oak and Main offers a fantastic deal where you can get half off any bottle of wine up to $69. We opted for the Bell Gloss Dairyman, and it was delicious, perfectly complementing our meal. The servers were outstanding, providing impeccable service throughout our visit. Oak and Main is a must-visit spot that you shouldn't miss. We are visiting the area, and this is definitely a spot I will come back to whenever I'm in town.

This place is great. At first I was sad because I LOVED the restaurant that used to be here, but after coming here? I can't be mad. The food's great. Came here for a light lunch and while there were to really good looking meals, the soups and sides were PLENTIFUL. The service was FANTASTIC. Erika was doubling as our waitress and bartender, and she made a Moscow Mule with a twist similar to what the Root used to do. Joey and Lauren hosted us and they were just the nicest people. We got drinks to take home. REALLY personally staff - I can't emphasize how great of a dining experience this was. AND IT'S IN MY BACKYARD. What more could I want? ♥️

Outstanding food and service. One of the best burgers I've ever had. The French Kiss Burger. The beef was very high quality and cooked perfectly, and the flavors of the toppings they chose for this burger were just right. Our server was very friendly attentive and continued refilling our water long after we had finished eating and gotten our check. I highly recommend Oak & Main and I will DEFINITELY be back!

Came in on Valentine's Day with no reservation, the place was packed full with every table taken, 25-30 minute wait, and we were seated within about 5 minutes. Our server was amazing and the food was outstanding and quick to come out! Kudos to the Chef and team, your glazed meatloaf, mashed potatoes, and seasonal vegetables were perfection! We even tried a couple of their cocktails which were also worth the visit. We'll definitely be back, sooner rather than later. Thank you for the hospitality and the full belly!

The meatloaf was perfect! And the mash potatoes were good. Vegetables are vegetables… I would sub it for something else next time. Drinks were top notch. Actually nice spot for a date and nice outdoor seating. Will be back for more!

Chandler provided great service. Atmosphere was pleasant. Lots of outdoor seating for our next visit when it's warmer. Meatloaf was great. Scallops pesto penne and the chicken with peach chutney arrived looking very tasty and colorful. However, both needed two rounds of extra salt and still weren't tasty, but after requesting a wedge of lemon to squeeze over both, they were great. Nice selection of cocktails, wines, and beers.

Cruzan oak street cocktail was so good! So sweet and not too boozy. Great $7 price during happy hour till 6. For an app the shrimp cocktail was super tasty. The sauce was nice and spicy but not too spicy. Side Caesar salad was super good. Lettuce super fresh and crisp. The dressing was a little sweeter than typical but I liked it. My boyfriend’s pan seared barramundi was super good. Came with pilowwy soft on the inside potatoes and grilled brussel sprouts both also good. Sadly, I got the lobster Mac and cheese cuz it sounded really good and got good reviews before me on yelp and google. It was super fishy, way fishier than lobster is. The lobster pieces were a little rubbery. I only had a few bites. My boyfriend is not a picky eater. Even he didn’t like it. I was very dissapointed everything led me to believe my entree would have been so much better. The atmosphere was really nice. Our server was nice at first. We came at 4:30ish when it wasn’t very busy. By 5:30 when we were ready to go and had the credit card out on the side of our table for about 15 min, they were pretty busy and our server did not comeback out from behind the bar. By 5:50, my boyfriend went up to the bar to pay the check. Service got such good reviews from others. Sadly that was not our experience either.

We’ve been to this restaurant many times and have always had good experiences, which makes this visit especially disappointing. Our waiter repeatedly tried to take our plates while we were still eating. The first time, he asked to clear both plates when neither of us was finished. Later, after my husband finished, he took his plate and immediately asked if he could take mine; even though I clearly had more than half of my meal left. He then came back again and asked if I was finished. I said no. Unbelievably, while I was literally putting food in my mouth, he once again asked if he could take my plate. It made me feel rushed and uncomfortable. I even said, “I’m clearly still eating,” and he just walked off. At that point, I didn’t even want to finish my meal. We weren’t there long and were not lingering at the table. This felt unnecessary and awkward. Please train your staff to read the table and avoid rushing guests. It really impacted what should have been an enjoyable meal.

My family and I have been coming to eat and drink in this establishment over the past year without a hitch. The food and atmosphere have been constantly impeccable. My hats off to the owner for producing such a gem. However, recently I and three other gentlemen were banned by the new restaurant manager. Wait for it - this is great. We all had a huge lunch, and then over a course of two hours, we had three drinks. This didn't fair well with the new restaurant manager. We were told that if wanted another drink that we had to eat again. The best part is, we were told that he was going to watch us to make sure we ate. You cant make this stuff up. I am in my 60's and haven't ever had an experience like this ever. When we refused to eat, on the grounds of being full we were told that we were banned. The truth lays somewhere between short staffed, lazy bartenders and a newly appointed member of the Gestapo. A big thank you to Inzo Italian Kitchen, next door who promptly accommodated us, and the food was amazing.
