I’ve been coming here for years now and I’m still very impressed with this place. The staff are always very friendly and helpful, and the service is pretty smooth and consistent, especially when it comes to timing and making orders. I’ve never ran into a time where I thought coming to this place would not be worth my time and money so definitely 5 stars in those categories. When it comes to the atmosphere it’s really well set up and I love how they play videos on the screens with the catchy Kpop songs. Part of me wishes they had more seating, but I feel it would get cramped up easily, so the layout with the tables and chairs are really well set up when it comes to the use of the space in there. My sister and I love eating at this place no matter if it’s to dine in there or take it to-go. My parents, uncle, and my closest friend even spoke highly of this eatery so definitely to those who are looking for REALLY good chicken, I HIGHLY recommend bbq chicken Rochester to eat and enjoy the wonderful taste and vibes! My go-tos are for sure the galbi boneless or honey garlic boneless wing combos (combos end at 3pm during the week fyi) everything is a hit! I also really like their kimchi fried rice and tteokbokki but they are on the spicier side (at least to me) so just be aware!

Ordered takeout for the first time here and all we could say was “incredible” as we took one bite after another from our chicken 😆 now we have to try all the flavors! Pleasantly surprised with the cheesling fries- took them home and dipped them in sriracha ketchup 👌🏼

I had a delicious meal yesterday and visited again today. The Secret Sauce chicken is especially the best. The information about Rochester that the owner gave me was also useful. He is so kind.

The best wings in the city. Gangnam style wings were insanely good. The kimchi fried rice was great. The secret spicy wings (boneless) was smashing too. The person who took our order was really kind and helpful. The OG for a reason!

I've wanted to try this place for a while and I'm so glad I finally did! The chicken here is really good quality. The meat is very juicy and tender. No fat or cartilage pieces at all. The breading is light and crispy. The plain chicken was actually good with no sauce cause the breading has some seasoning in it. I got the secret sauce boneless chicken at the recommendation of the cashier and it was delicious. Not too spicy, a little sweet. Very good. The pickled radish comes free with dine in and it's the perfect accompaniment to the chicken and it's an authentic Korean style side dish for this sort of meal. Restaurant and bathroom were clean and comfortable. Nice atmosphere. I WILL be back!

My daughter put me on to this spot...and my goodness I see why it's one of her favorite places. The chicken has perfect crispness and the flavors are delightful. We were deceived by the pictures from other reviews. The large sizes are 18 pieces not 12 and the medium size is 9 pieces not 6 Now I feel like I got a really good deal - unacceptable! The taste is good, crispy and strong like you'd expect. One pet peeve that I have is that I expected to get some pickled radish when I ordered 3 large sizes, but we got none

This is an awesome spot for Korean Fried Chicken. The chicken was fried to order, so it was super crispy and juicy. Do expect a bit of a wait if you don't call ahead. The owner was super friendly and accommodating when we had kids in the group offering suggestions. We would definitely come back again to try the other flavors they have to offer.

I’ve been craving Korean fried chicken ever since I went to Seoul 3 years ago, and my prayers have been heard. Their Korean fried chicken is hands down the best you can get in Rochester, and it 100% brings me back to Korea. The flavors are also authentic. Will definitely be back for more! Korean fried chicken is definitely different from American ones, so don’t order it and expect it to be the same. With the cornstarch coating, their chicken stays crunchy and not at all soggy even after staying in the box for a 15minute drive. Regular order of chicken comes in 9pcs of chicken. Tteokbokki is the perfect amount of spice for someone who can handle it(no sweating or runny nose whatsoever, just has a satisfying kick to it), the level of sweetness is just right and doesn’t cancel out the heat. Also has a good amount of fish cakes in the tteokbokki, which is essential. Definitely suggest ordering online and picking up your order in-store. If you order in-store, you’ll still have to wait 25-30minutes. There are parking in the back of the store for customers, and 1hour on-street parking at the front.

They need to change their pictures on Grubhub because for their boneless they show a picture of bone wings. I have ordered chicken nuggets too many times by mistake. Also I hate when they don’t go all out when they make restaurants in Rochester, BBQ chicken at other locations are bigger and better.

Food is amazing everytime! Love how crispy the chicken is. The kimchi rice is also delicious with a decent portion size. I order from here all the time. Would recommend again and again.

Chicken is awesome and stayed crispy with takeout even after taking it home. 4 stars because these were the worst cheeses sticks I have literally ever had. No cheese pull, don't come with a dipping sauce, and the breading tastes so flour-y. Also sad this location doesn't offer the pickled radish cubes like other Korean fried chicken places. Will definitely be back for the chicken!!

Overall, chicken and tteokbokki are delicious. However, there are few things I didn't like. 1. It took 30 minutes to get food even if we were the only customer dining in 2. The amount of tteokbokki got noticeably smaller. I even had to compare with the photo I took a year ago, it was obviously so much less. 3.
