This has been a family favorite for 2 generations. SOLID breakfast, I love the consistency and simplicity of the tuna plate for a workday takeout lunch, and most of all, basic eggs here aren’t basic because they are served with local bakery toast from Park Ave Bakery (down the street). Try the sunflower multigrain toast … it’s delicious. Note: there is often a wait during high traffic weekend brunch hours. Try to get there before 10am if you have littles in tow.

Excellent service at Jines on Park Ave—our server was attentive and friendly. The turkey and cranberry sandwich was flavorful and well-balanced. Onion rings were crisp and perfectly seasoned. Highly recommend. Loved sitting outside!

I was visiting family in Rochester, and we all met for breakfast at Jines Restaurant. It took me a while to decide what to order, as they have a very large breakfast menu. I ordered the spinach, bacon, and cheese omelet, and it was delicious. The staff is very friendly and the service was great.

My husband and I enjoyed a wonderful breakfast today(Sunday) at Jines. We got there around 9:00, no line, but very busy. We were served water, coffee, and menus almost immediately. I had the house made corned beef hash & eggs, which was 5*. I asked for over medium and the eggs were cooked as ordered. The 12 grain toast was also very good. My husband had the mushroom spinach omelette and it was also very good! Service was impeccable - refills offered frequently, dirty dishes taken away in a timely manner, and everyone was super friendly! Thank you for a pleasant and tasty breakfast experience.

We had a party of five and we’re seated immediately on a Saturday evening. All of our food was presented well and absolutely delicious. Our server was very personable and friendly. We’ll definitely be back when we return to Rochester.

Jines is an ESSENTIAL Rochester, NY restaurant! They serve Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner all day, but I have only had their breakfast food and can therefore only comment on that. The service is always spot on, and the servers are always very kind and welcoming. The prices have gone up a bit due to the shortages everywhere, but they're still very reasonable. The atmosphere is warm and cozy and big enough so you're not on top of people sitting near or around you. Their Corned Beef Hash is homemade and some of the best I have ever had! I have also yet to find a restaurant that can beat Jines' Eggs Benedict! For brunch, they also pour a very generous Mimosa that I can taste is mostly Champagne! Whether you're visiting Rochester or are just looking for top-notch breakfast, Jines Restaurant is where you need to go!!

Cool place, with a neat vibe. Service was great. But, food was just OK. I had the corned beef eggs Benedict, and my wife poblano avocado omelet, both on their "breakfast specialty" menu. The hash was super salty, and tasted like it came out of a can. The dish was good...just not great. Wife reports the omelet was good as well, just nothing to write home about.

3.5 stars for the food, 0.5 stars for the ambiance. This is an old restaurant but I had never been here until recently! We walked in and had to wait about 15 mins before being seated. The service was very quick (almost too quick as we were asked if we were ready or not before we'd even had a chance to look at the menu). Their ambiance is fresh and chic. Their hot chocolate was pretty decent. I got the wild mushroom and blue cheese omelet, my brother got the eggs Benedict and our friend got the pancakes. The Benedict portion was very small as my brother inhaled it. It was ok to taste. The omelet was decent and pretty heavy. The best part of it was the bread, which was delicious. The pancakes were decent too. All in all, it was decent food and for a decent price. I would recommend this place for a quick brunch in a nice part of Rochester. There is a parking lot a couple of blocks away. Do NOT pay there so that you can get parking validated through the restaurant. They don't validate prepaid tickets. Otherwise, you can look for street parking which is always a bit harder.

We were very disappointed! My mom and I are both gluten-free and I had seen that they had a gluten-free menu and they had decent ratings from gluten-free reviewers. We got there and they did not have a gluten-free menu and when I asked the waiter about it, he’s like oh well we’ll just deal with it , We have gluten-free breads. My mom pointed out that wasn’t the only concern and he just walked away so I beckoned him back and told him we needed to know what was safe. He brought us a binder with a list that they have and we ordered from that. My mom is now sick because she got Gluten. She ordered a salad without croutons to be on the safe side, but we’re guessing that maybe the dressing had gluten in it.

The food was not that good. The homemade corned beef & hash was a let down and thats one of my favorite breakfast dishes of all time. It was dried out corned beef & no small potatoes so it wasn't hash. It was just dry pieces of corned beef so small you couldn't eat it with a fork because it was so dry like imitation bacon bits. The home fries were not crispy at all even though I asked for it. There wasn't enough cream cheese or jelly to go on the bagel & i dont understand why they were so stingy if you are spending 26 dollars for breakfast atleast give me enough cream cheese. The only thing that was okay were the sunny side up eggs. I'm glad that I orded a side of meat hot sauce for the home fries because I had to mix the hash with it just so I can eat it because it was so dry and hard. The taste of the meat hot sauce wasn't that good either. I would have saved my money for something else if I had known. I don't think I'll ever eat from this restaurant again. I'd rather go thru a drive thru and spend less money than eat that dried out corned beef. I had high hopes... oh well...
