This spot is such a gem and Edwin is fantastic! Im impressed that he remembered my name and order after just one visit. Great coffee and delicious homemade, unique pastries. I’ll definitely be back every time I’m in Rocklin.
My favorite coffee shop. Get there early for a delicious danish.
really sweet guy!! and really good coffee! im not from sacramento so it bums me out that i cant come there more often. also... theres no menu because they could make you ANYTHING! pretty cool
I love love EDWINS! Locally owned and operated. The food is great. The coffee is fantastic. The cafe itself is always clean. He and his employees roast the coffee in house. Edwin himself is always there, always ready to serve the community with a smile. His employees not only match his work ethic, but keep the shop alive too. Edwin's brings that coffee shop feel to this part of town.
i accidentally came across this coffee and Tea place. I had a flat tire and stuck in the parking lot across the street. Edwin the owner was so kind to go out of his way to help us and lend us a lug wrench. Got my tire changed. After this I went to his shop and purchased a couple of Ice coffees. It was Delicious !!, so much variety in customer selections. Really good place with a reasonable price. Well worth it. I will come back again and again.. Thanks for everything..
The best coffee in town with comfy shaded outdoor seating and yummy quiche! Love, love, love this place! Edwin seems like a super down to earth, real genuine guy who works hard and gets to know his customers like family. At least that's how it feels walking in there.
Owners are so friendly! Homemade baked goods that are amazing. A real community vibe, which is hard to get in the suburbs where there is a Starbucks on every corner. Keep in mind they aren’t up until 9. Definitely worth going to!
Fantastic local business! Warm and inviting atmosphere. Edwin is a gracious host. His sweet mother comes in and prepares the baked goods from scratch. So happy to know that Edwin's Coffee & Tea is a staple here in our town.
Spend the morning here, away from all the phones and zoom meetings. Excellent in-house roasted coffe in small batches, and a variety of freshly baked pastries. A small place that keeps it full at times, but very laid back and personable clientele and owner. Will definitely be back when in the area!
It's a nice comfortable spot where you can relax and enjoy coffee with friends and family. I walked in and was immediately greeted and explained the menu. The coffee is delicious. I got the Black and White Mocha and the temperature was perfect and the flavor was amazing. I'll definitely look to come here again.
I decided to try Edwin's today when I noticed the sign on my morning hunt for coffee and breakfast and I was not disappointed! The gentleman who helped me (I'm guessing it was Edwin himself, but I'm not 100% on that) was very nice and knowledgeable. He was patient in answering my questions and made everything to order. I ordered a breakfast sandwich along with my white chocolate mocha and it was actually made fresh! Not a frozen, premade sandwich that was quickly heated to scorching levels! It tasted homemade! Sure, the interior isn't the newest, but that's not why I go to a coffee house, so it didn't bother me. Edwin's is truly Rocklin's hidden gem and I'm happy I found it. I will be returning for sure!
Great atmosphere! I got a vanilla latte and it's got to be the best tasting latte I've ever had. The guy working was also super friendly and fast, great outdoor seating as well. Would definately recommend!
I've been living in Rocklin for a few years now, and FINALLY made the time to check this place out. I have been missing out!!!! Until today, my favorite local spot was the cafe at Nordstrom in the mall - Edwin's is definitely going to be my new go-to. Delicious coffee, wonderful service, a great locals hang out, and a great price to boot. In the immortal words of Dale Cooper, that was a damn fine cup of coffee.
If you're ever in Rocklin and in need of caffeine so strong it could reanimate a fossil, do not pass up Edwin's. I ordered a double espresso and I’m pretty sure I temporarily unlocked the ability to speak fluent morse code. My buddy took one sip and his Fitbit logged it as 3,000 steps. This is not a coffee shop. It’s a limitless pill under the guise of Edwin’s coffee and tea serving up liquid gold better known as “Ed’s Bodacious”. Now let’s talk about Edwin: part barista, part wizard, part coffee shaman who clearly made a deal with some caffeinated deity. He doesn't make lattes—he conjures them. You don't order a drink, you submit a request to the bean gods via Edwin, and if you're lucky, they'll answer. If not, Edwin will point you in the direction of the nearest Starbucks because not all can hang with this run down menu-less temple of greatness. Ambiance? Imagine if your grandpa’s fallout shelter and an old Portland coffeehouse had a lovechild and stocked it with WW2 radio equipment and excellent pastries. It’s not trendy, it’s timeless—like Edwin himself. So stop by, tip well, don’t be in a hurry, breathe deep and most importantly remember, “When money is everything, everything is nothing”
A neat little shop! The iced coffee latte I got was good! They had lots of different syrup options to choose from! I got a butterscotch muffin warmed up as well, and it was delicious. Definitely tasted like it was made from scratch. The inside was decorated with cool little trinkets and decor that had the esthetic of global village coffeehouse. The owner was a nice man, I’m hoping he was the owner, and his kids or kids related to him worked there. They actually were learning the register and checked me and my friends out. Outside is where we sat and the nice decor follows you into the patio too. At one point, while sitting outside, the owner came out and offered to take my plate. Overall a great experience and great place! Don’t be shy to pay this coffee shop a visit, I will definitely return!
I’ve lived in Rocklin for almost 2 years now, and I’m so happy that I discovered this place only 2 months into my move. This cafe is one that you don’t come across anymore. The old, worn-in leather seating (which is very comfortable by the way), the classic rock playing from the old television, the warm and inviting indoor atmosphere overall, the pet-friendly, shaded outdoor patio, and the incredible service that Edwin and his two kids bring to the community to name a few reasons. Last but certainly not least, is the quality of coffee and food and that is completely made to order. This isn’t the place for go-go-go though. And that’s what I love the most. Edwin doesn’t care to be like every other basic coffee shop that sacrifices their service and quality of products for the instagram likes.
Edwin's is a weekly staple for my husband and I! We get lattes and bagel sandwiches :) Family owned and operated with hands down the most delicious drinks and treats. Edwin roasts his own coffee and is incredibly knowledgeable about all things coffee. His mom helps run the register and makes some delicious baked goods like quiche and muffins. They are both so kind, and after visiting a handful of times, Edwin even remembers us and our orders! He has created a really welcoming and warm space that I look forward to visiting each week!
I came here expecting it to be decent, but was honestly blown away. It's a cute neighborhood coffee shop with stellar coffee and pastries. The owner is very nice and the decor fits the vibe excellently. I would stop by any time I'm in the area.
Always a pleasure to visit Ed and family. Great coffe, great food, great service. Always answers any questions that may arise, and the coffee always hits the spot. The espresso drinks are always really good, all the drip coffees are good, and the pastries are really good. Cinnamon rolls aren’t always available but when they are would highly recommend.
Edwin's is the best coffee shop around. Edwin himself takes his time to make the perfect cup for every coffee he makes. He provides excellent service. The pastries he sells are the best pastries ever, and that's coming from a baker. I believe his ...mom? makes them. The vibe in his shop is always comfortable and welcoming. Highly recommend!
I came across Edwin’s through a Reddit post whilst searching for a place unique to Roseville, and I’m so happy I by! Originally, what caught my eye was that the coffee beans were roasted in house. While the coffee was amazing, the danishes brought me back the next day! All the pastries looked great, but my family only tried the danishes. Furthermore, the atmosphere was very welcoming! All the other customers were very friendly and quick to create conversation. Will definitely stop by whenever I travel to Roseville.
This is a family owned shop run by a mother and son team. It was so good, it ruined all other coffees and pastries for me. I had the Spiced Mocha half sweet and a raspberry danish. Highly recommend both of those and will be trying more. Had I known about this place in grad school, I would have spent my weekends here studying.
Funny, I grew up in this neighborhood but always went to Starbucks as a kid. Not until I grew up and realized what quality coffee is I sought out Edwin’s when I come back to visit family here. The coffee is so good and Edwin’s expertise is always a joy to listen to (thank you Edwin for always answering my mom and I’s questions!). This place is so special. Give it a try!
I go here twice a week and have been for years. Ed is committed to his coffee and tea like no other!!! I’ve been to 15 countries, 37 states, and I’m not even sure how many cities but I can tell you, Ed is in the top 5 coffees I’ve ever had. Ever.
Nothing like a corner store when it comes to quality delicious food. I am glad I tried the Apple Turnover. He did tell me that he makes his own stuff and I believe him as no mass production can deliver food that takes this good. Recipe is so unadulterated. Be it the Wooey taste if egg and flour in the interior or taste of cinnamon and sugar in top. It is a class apart uncontaminated culinary skills. The apple slices in the filling were delicious by themselves and the their velvety texture was pure awesome. This is what is called qs country cooking or ranch cooking so hearty. I am a coffee lover and I am not I to specialty drinks. He has one Oregon chai. I always go for strong robust flavors he has out as soon as one enters they can spot. Warm considerate service with pub like seating. Nice place for neighbors to get together or look forward to goto in the morning
My first time randomly stopping by Edwin’s Coffee & Tea, and I’m so glad I did. The hot cappuccino was perfect, with beautiful foam art on top, and the mulberry danish was absolutely delicious. The place feels very peaceful and smells amazing with fresh coffee. Such a cozy spot—I’ll definitely be back!
Such a great experience! After driving by for years I finally had time to stop today and I'm so glad I did. Ed was super helpful and you can tell he loves what he does. The food is amazing. I got the ham quiche and raspberry white chocolate scone with a hazelnut oat milk latte. Everything was made fresh and tasted THE BEST EVER. not an exaggeration. Go today!
First time visitor. I cannot say enough great things about this place. The owner, Edwin was amazing as was the food and coffee. We had a bagel sandwich, bagel with cream cheese, vanilla lattes and my favorite was quiche that was similar to a chile relleno quiche style! We also enjoyed some yummy fresh made pastries. It’s a family (including fur babies) spot. Seating indoor and outside. Very welcoming environment. We will definitely be back!
Stopped by on my way to work. There aren't a whole lot of options outside Starbucks and Peet's in the area so when I spotted Edwin's, I had to stop and check it out. Locally owned and operated, roasting is done in small batches, on-site, the same way it's been done for over 25 years. I had a cappuccino and a blueberry muffin (fresh baked daily on site) at around 7:30-8am. By the time 10am rolled around I was back in the car returning to Edwin's to buy some beans to take home. One of the best cappuccinos I've had in a long time, and the muffin was to die for! I haven't tried the beans at home yet, but I would gladly wager they will not disappoint! I'll be back for sure and recommend checking it out if you love coffee
THE BEST COFFEE. I'm a "coffee snob" and this place scratched every itch I've ever had for coffee. They serve their coffee in homemade ceramic mugs and our barista was so friendly, he made you feel like family. Would HIGHLY recommend.
My favorite coffee shop! He roasts his own beans and that makes for an AMAZING cup of coffee! Edwin's Mom makes the BEST scones and pastries.( They do NOT compare to any other I have ever had) He is closed Monday and Tuesday so plan ahead!

A little gem of a coffee shop with an inviting, shady (dog friendly) patio to relax and enjoy your beverage. Very friendly owners who personalize your drinks however you want. Pictured is a coconut milk latte. Pastries looked delicious, too. Recommend 👍
Awesome atmosphere. They roast their coffee in house, which makes for fresh coffee! The mocha and latte I’ve had from here were amazing. They even have freshly baked goods that are baked in house. 10/10 would recommend.
This spot is absolutely delicious!!! Coffee, tea and Edwin's eats are so good!! 😋I'm glad his shop is 30mins away or I'd be in trouble and be there daily!! If you want some great coffee and eats try this place out! It will be a wait as it's only him and he makes each order before taking a new one but it's well worth the wait and you might get lucky and get in with no wait!
Ed's place is phenomenal! The coffee is great and every single item from the bakery is DELICIOUS! The only downside about this place is that it's so good you'll want to come back every day
Been going here for a decade, the coffee, bagels and atmosphere really can't be beat. On top of that, Ed is just an awesome dude. Spoiled to have such a chill spot in Rocklin and still struggling trying to find its equal elsewhere.
When I say there's no better... Edwin the human and his family, are amazing. Food quality and don't get me started on the flavor selection! Not to mention the fair trade of the ingredients and the entire vibe of this spot. I've been here a few times from the center of Sacramento in fog and cold to enjoy it all!
Found this last minute coming from an appointment. So glad I did! Owner was kind and answered all my questions without hesitation. The turkey/cheese croissant was delicious (I believe that's what it was called, homemade spicy cream cheese inside), and the vanilla latte was delicious!!
We're new to the Rocklin area, and have only been to Edwin's a few times. It is rapidly becoming our favorite. I'm a dark roast fanatic, and his Italian roast brew is what I crave.
Edwin’s Coffee and Tea is truly a hidden gem! The coffee here is absolutely delicious—rich, smooth, and perfectly brewed every single time. You can really taste the quality in every sip. What makes this place even better is Edwin himself—always kind, welcoming, and full of positive energy. His friendly attitude makes you feel like more than just a customer. If you’re looking for great coffee and even better vibes, this is the place to go!
Such a cool spot! The quiche was amazing and the latte was perfect. Glad I tried it out.
Found this place on whim, so glad I did. Already had my allocated coffee for the morning, so unfortunately, I wasn’t able to try their coffee But they’re bagel. Breakfast sandwich was absolutely delicious! Edwin provided great customer service. Wish the inside had more comfortable tables and chairs to relax and enjoy. But that’s the only minor complaint Will definitely be back!
Fantastic coffee. Edwin brews his own coffee beans in house. Great atmosphere. Wish we tried this place sooner, will definitely be back.
My favorite coffee place. Been going here over 20 yrs. Love the espresso milkshake! To die for.

Great roasting local coffee. A bit too strong for my personal liking however it's still so delicious. We love to buy their whole beans and take it home. Only reason for 4 stars is they have unstable working hours, several times I have come there to either meet with someone or buy their beans and they were closed. So I would be nice to have a stable open and close hours so customers can plan around that.
We love to visit new or different coffee places and decided to check this out. The place have so much potential for sure. However the place is falling a part, sad to say. The furniture and decor needs help and it needs a good cleaning. The windows and inside are really dirty, including the dessert display. With a little effort, this place can be transformed into a 💎 gem. The coffee was ok.

I'm very confused. I have lived in the neighborhood housing Edwins for 5 years and always passed by on my daily walks. I always wanted to give it a try as I love giving ma and pa small businesses my business. Wow . Shock and confusion was all that consumed me when I finally visited the local coffee spot. Firstly , there was no menu to be seen and the inside was a hot mess. No one helped my mom and I navigate through this confusing establishment. I had no idea what to order. It was 11 am on a Sunday and the place was way under staffed for how "busy" it was. People kept cutting us in line and not one staff member helped us or even acknowledged our presence. Thus, we decided to walk out. Extremely disappointed 😞 please help your new/green customers Edwin. Being a fellow small business owner myself , I was deeply saddened. You can do much better. Unless the owner makes some serious improvements I would just go to Starbucks if I was you.
