Do not order the Bean Taco Salad unless you want a children size salad. Very small. Salad was good buy a little bland.

I've been here and got the El Gordo Taco before, but today it looks very skim on the steak. I brought it to their attention to maybe get a bit more and was told they use a precise measure each time, Asked if I wanted to buy more...naw. What happened to give the customer a pickle?

I always get the fish tacos. however, this one did a horrible job . They didn't put the sauce in or gave the lime wegdes not to mention they were extremely grease this time

They put the saddest amount of sour cream for the loaded taquitos. I've been to jimboys all over sacramento and they put way more at other location. If to love your taquitos with more than a little spoonful I suggest you find a better place.

Over a thirty minute wait this time, received cold food, added on sour cream and didn't get it, tacos were the skimpiest I've ever seen, could go on and on. Pretty sad really

Go in, place an order. Only one employee working and he was taking orders and making the food, seemed friendly, so good job on that. But then get home and tacos missing the cheese! Jimboys is not cheap and to to be missing one of the main ingredients? 2/8/2022. 5:15 pm. 10067. 7/22/23 UPDATE MOST WHY BACK TRIED AGAIN. Don't go here, so over overpriced, smaller portions and no customer service. At 3 employees look like they took sleeping pills. Never again. And I see the "owner" comments on other reviews but didn't care about my previous one where they don't put cheese? Avoid!!

If I could give negative stars I would. Just had the most horrific, uncomfortable experience here. The staff was an absolute disaster from the second I walked in the door. I waited for my food for 30 minutes only to be told it had been sitting there but no one called my name. I asked for a refund and the man working the register said the manager would process my refund with 10 days (fine) but then says to me “now please leave and get out of my life so I can help the next customer.” I was shocked to be spoken to that way considering I wasn’t causing a scene or being rude, just simply asked for a refund. I know the man was frustrated with his staff who was messing up every single order. The staff was all arguing in front of the customers. But to speak that way to someone? Just wow. Glad the people behind me left after that comment so they didn’t have to experience the mess this place is. Every other customer there was complaining about the service as well. I don’t think anyone there today will be coming back.

This location needs help. I admit I should have checked after spending $42 for a family dinner. What I ordered was 3 soft chicken tacos with only Pico on flower tortilla, not fries. What I got was fully loaded died Chicken tacos with two orders of tortilla on the side. I also ordered a burrito with extra steak and fries - and loaded. What I got was only steak - can’t tell if it was extra. The fires where on the side and loaded. I have been here 3 times, twice this has happened. Yes I should have checked everything before I left. Regardless it wasn’t how I ordered it. Don’t waste your money here. They seem to struggle when trying customize a customers order. The location in Roseville is much better.

Our family of 3 had some time to grab a quick taco dinner in-between two appointments one afternoon. We had just left a very hot gym workout and decided to give Jimboys Rocklin another shot. We walked in and I exclaimed to my family, "Yes! It feels so nice in here." Once we got to the register, I asked the employee how he was doing. He said, "HOT." I thought oh, it is hot outside. Then I thought maybe it was hot in the kitchen behind. So I said, oh is it hot in the back? To which he said, "No it's hot in the dining area." I said, "Oh, wow. I was just saying how cool it was in here." Then he argued with me about it being hot. Too hot, in fact, to let customers dine-in. So we would have to take our food to-go. The whole thing was so outrageous I thought it was a joke. So we took our business elsewhere and will never try that location again. The service, food and hours are incredibly inconsistent and it's a shame.

I am honestly surprised this location is still in business, this chain is otherwise good. When I went cashier used the same gloves as he did to prepare my food and handle money. I have been twice and although the food was mediocre, it was very salty on the second occasion. Corporate should step in. I do like the chain though.

The guac is the worst I’ve ever had, it looks and tastes like they used all the old avocados to blend and pour into a cup. It’s extremely sour and unpleasant tasting. The carnitas tastes like actual dirt. Would not recommend to anyone

Absentee owner, new employees every other week. Poor service, bad food. Truly a poor poor representation of other stand out Jimboy's restaurants. Restaurant hours are all over the place. Restaurant will.juat randomly close at 5pm if no workers exist Here's a concept to the owner, how about you show up every once in a while and run it?? If you're not putting in 14+ hr days for the first 2+ yrs then you're gonna fail Note to owner; "Pst, you can't be an absentee owner until you build up the business to a point where it's firing on all cylinders and being run at the same level of a Chic Fil A or In N Out"
