We came in with a party of 14 and they were able to accommodate on a Saturday around 5 pm. Ashley was a wonderful server and took great care of us even though we had 4 kids being their loud rambunctious toddler selves. I had the Crispy Chicken Parmesan sandwich with the Garlic fries. The food was delicious, although the garlic fries were a little soggy. But thats normal since they are tossed in garlic sauce and parmesan. The kids chicken fingers were flavorful and my kids loved the little car trays that the food comes in.

Ate here 5 or so times over a year. Never disappoints. Try the ribeye, unbeatable for the price, and the soups are outstanding. vegetables are fresh and bright.

Kind of an old fashion diner. Breakfast available all day, my favorite. Chicken fried steak, yum. Breaded, gravy & choice of side dishes: mashed potatoes & gravy, Cole slaw, fries. Juke box on every table. Pictures of years past cover the walls. Staff has always been prompt, pleasant great worker bees. Surroundings clean & neat! Prices doable. Locations worth looking for.

I ordered an Eggs #1, over easy with a side of Mel’s potatoes and Rye toast. The eggs were perfect and the potatoes were tasty, but a little on the salty side. Toast (1 of the 2 slices) was burned black on one side. Service was good and attentive.

We’ve tried out Mels for the 1st time and we were not disappointed ! The first impression we got is the place is super clean! People are friendly and helpful. Food was amazing. The only reason I gave them a 4 star was that the service was slow from when we sat down to have someone over to ask what we want to drink. Then we had to wait again and I actually had to ask someone else for coffee.....while our original server Emily was continuing her lengthy conversation with a couple at a table... Other than that ... a great place!!!!

Both my husband and I had dinner. He asked to have something other than coleslaw and she said she could get him some other sauce. For as small as the coleslaw was they could have given him potato salad, not good service in that respect. The waitress was good. He Llllllllll

I ordered wings, onion rings and French fries. The potatoes were salty, the wings were salty to the point of impossibility. I couldn't eat them. Perhaps it's their crispy shell. It's probably worth correcting the recipe. I really liked the service. Cute waitress girl

We stopped by to have a nice lunch which did not happen, with the money they charge you to go out and eat now days the food should be above and beyond, we have always loved going to Mel's but this trip was awful, our bread was burnt both sandwiches were burnt, the server is not to blame but the cook is!!!! Rock hard bread and burnt how do you allow that to go out and be served as good food.
