Honestly, our server Bri made our whole night at Texas Roadhouse. The steaks were great, but she was the real star. Super friendly, super on point with everything, and made sure we were taken care of from start to finish. Her vibe was spot on—she knew when to chat and when to give us space. It’s rare to get service that good, and it made the whole experience that much better. If you’re lucky enough to get her, you’re in for an awesome meal and even better service!

This was my first time visiting a Texas Roadhouse and let me tell you, I was shocked! Shocked at how great the service was, how amazing the food tasted, and the amazing time I spent with my family here. We came to celebrate my nephew’s 14th birthday and had a fantastic meal! Texas Roadhouse in Rockwall is a large steakhouse with a large full-size bar and lots of TVs featuring sports and country music videos. The menu has many entree choices ranging from burgers, chicken, ribs, steaks, and prime rib. Their homemade yeast rolls are delicious with the sweet butter to die for. The wait staff are very friendly and efficient with providing all you need. This location is clean with a large parking lot. Pro tip go online, and you can sign up for the wait list on busy nights. Just go to the hostess stand and let them know when you arrive. Usually, I can get a table pretty quickly.

Texas Roadhouse in Rockwall is my go-to steakhouse as someone on the carnivore diet. They are AWESOME in catering to my desire for multiple PLAIN steaks prepared as RAW as possible with zero seasoning, oil, or butter. My two 16 ounce boneless sirloin steaks and my two 16 ounce boneless ribeye steaks came out perfectly! The grilled shrimp topping was delicious. The servers here are always so incredibly nice and attentive to your dietary desires. I will keep coming back!

We tried this place for dinner one evening and were greeted at the door and seated right away. Our server Hannah was prompt on getting our drink order and returning and getting our food order, we ordered the Filet which was delicious. The chili was awesome as always and the Mac and Cheese was tasty. Hannah was very knowledgeable and even though she was very busy made sure we had everything we needed and the drinks never got empty. The restaurant was clean as were the restrooms. We will return again and ask for Hannah.

Busy place! Make sure you grab yourself a spot on the wait list before you arrive, otherwise you’ll be waiting at least 10 minutes. The food is all delicious and huge portions. The prices are a little high but you do get a lot of food. The waitresses and waiters are attentive and quick. The atmosphere is loud, dim lights, and country vibes. A great place to hang out any night. The best part is the rolls with cinnamon butter 🤤

Went in for the 1st time for dinner 7/30/24. It was about 530p so it was busy but no wait yet. We where seated quickly and service was fast as well. The rolls are given to you right when you are seated and yes they are very yummy! Kids had simple chicken nuggets and fries, we got chicken fried steak with white and brown gravy. Both very yummy!! The appetizer trio was good too.

We typically love Texas Roadhouse but this location tends to really struggle with cooking steaks properly. We've had more misses here than hits which is uncommon for Texas Roadhouse in general. Today, ours was especially poor. My wife's "medium rare" steak was cooked beyond well done and my 14oz was over 6oz of pure fat. Don't get me wrong, I like a little fat with every bite, but this was truly just not trimmed properly and I couldn't eat about half my steak. See the photos attached.

We have been to this location several times however the waiter that we had last week was horrible. We were seated at our table and the waiter came by 10 minutes after we were seated and then it took him another 10 minutes to get our drink out to us. Hindsight is 20-20 however I should’ve known then that we should’ve either left or asked for different waitstaff. Once he took our orders and brought out our appetizer we ran out of drinks and sat there for about 17 minutes with other waitstaff and managers passing by our table not saying or noticing anything. The food was good as always however the service was far from acceptable. I do understand that everyone was busy and on a mission however I do believe that the managers need to do better.

After several visits, I have to say the standout feature of Texas Roadhouse is definitely the steaks are affordably priced and best salads! However, I've noticed that it seems to be getting a bit saltier lately, and the rolls are not as fluffy as they used to be – they feel denser now. I heard they might be trying out a new recipe from their Greenville location, which could explain the change. On the service front, I’ve had a mix of experiences. One server was outstanding, especially in the bar area, but when seated in the sections behind the walls, the service tends to drop in quality. During my visit the night before Valentine's Day, there was only one bartender, leading to longer wait times for everything since the waitresses were clearly overwhelmed. Unfortunately, our waitress was not very engaged. After just taking our order, she rarely came around. When we requested lighter rolls and mentioned that our steak was too bloody, she seemed to disappear. It took an uncomfortably long time for our food—especially after the steak was sent back—and it arrived long after everyone else had finished eating. Place was empty- while we sat with table piled up and frustrated! Additionally, we encountered confusion with the payment process. We were told the tab was available on the kiosk, but we had never experienced that in our frequent visits; usually, we received a paper receipt. It created a frustrating experience as we watched our waitress attend to other tables while ours went neglected. The atmosphere, which used to be lively with dancing waitstaff and peanuts on the floor, has changed. Now, it feels more rushed and less inviting. Until my next visit shows improvement in service, this review stands as is. It's disappointing to see such a fun place lose its charm and efficiency.

I used to love going to Texas Roadhouse. However the last two times we have gone the food has been really bad, and we have had issues with our silverware both times also...which sounds odd. First off my napkin had some sorts of food on it...so I asked for a new silverware roll when we first sat down. (they didnt arrive until after I had sat staring at my food with no silverware for over 5 minutes and I finally asked a random worker that was walking by for more silverware, since my waitress never brought me any). Last night we ordered the steak, shrimp, and a full rack of ribs (between the two of us). The steak and shrimp were ok, not great, but edible. The ribs however were the driest ribs I have had anywhere. And they were extremely salty...like licking a salt block salty. The manager came by the table and asked, so we told her the ribs were horribly dry and salty. She focused on the salty part and told us it was probably because they were plated with a baked potato and they may have touched. I had not even eaten from the side of the ribs that were on the potatos side of the plate. I asked for some BBQ sauce to dip the ribs in since they were so dry (and honestly hoping the BBQ sauce was sweet to counter the salty wads of dry meat...dry is a nice term to use...think of the turkey on Christmas Vacation). The manager kept asking me if I wanted more ribs, and said they would be ready and that she would go grab some and bring them right back to me. I told her several times that I did not want more ribs, and that BBQ sauce would be fine. After 4 or 5 times of asking me, I finally told her sure you can bring me more ribs. She returned with BBQ sauce, and told me the ribs were not ready, and wouldn't be for "8 minutes" which is an oddly specific time...I told her that the BBQ sauce would be fine, and that I didn't need more ribs. She left, I pulled some meat off the ribs, and tried it in the BBQ sauce. The BBQ sauce seemed to do the trick...It made the ribs less salty at least, but it couldn't help with the dryness. After about three attempts of trying the ribs in the BBQ sauce, I got a pleasant surprise from the ribs...it was a hair that was about 18 inches long that I pulled out of my mouth. I left the remainder of my steak and the ribs, we paid up, and left. The last time we had gone to TRH the food was also super salty, and our silverware napkins were wet. The time before that, a woman threw up right next to our table...maybe she had a hair in her food also...who knows. That's three for three... The two pictures are of the steak that I left on my table after I got to eat the hair...and the hair along with the napkin full of rib meat that was in my mouth.

Was in Sat 3/7/26 for dinner. 3 overcooked over priced dry Filets, no server in sight. Had to get up and get a to go box as my dog would eat this dry overcooked steak. I order MR was served med well. Would have liked to had my plates cleared off the table and offered dessert as it was my son's 23rd BDay. I guess checks aren't dropped anymore, god forbid a server do that, and you pay on a pad left on the table. Worst experience I've had at a roadhouse. I should have picked Salt Grass but hey u live and learn.

Dear Texas Roadhouse Management, I am a regular and loyal customer who frequently visits your North Garland location, where I consistently receive excellent service and quality food. However, I recently had an unfortunate experience at your Rockwall Lake location that I feel needs to be brought to your attention. I chose to visit this location while hosting guests, hoping to save time, but unfortunately, the service was far below expectations. The staff were unprofessional and inattentive—we waited a long time before anyone checked on our table, and drinks were never brought to us. When I asked the manager about it, I was told the bar was closed. If that’s the case, it’s unclear why guests are being seated if such basic services are unavailable. Additionally, we were not given the option to choose our steak, and the food served was not fresh. The broccoli, in particular, was inedible. It was disappointing and embarrassing to have this experience while entertaining guests. I sincerely hope Texas Roadhouse will look into the training and performance of the staff at this location to ensure they meet the high standards your brand is known for.

Let us start by saying, we love Texas Roadhouse - but this location doesn't meet the exceptional "Texas Roadhouse" standards... We decided to come on a Monday, around 310pm (5/19/25) and we had to wait 30min to get seated. Apparently management didn't have adequate waitstaff to serve customers. Keep in mind, this place just opened at 3pm - not the best planning on management. As we were seated, our waitress was very attentive and nice. She had a lot of tables to serve, but she was on top of everything. The food was ok; we were extremely disappointed in the 'cactus bloom'...this is one of my favorite appetizers at Texas Roadhouse (really the only reason we go sometimes, lol). The 'bloom' wasn't 'cut' and it wasn't completely cooked (batter melded together on one side). All of the other items came out pretty good... This is the part where its disappointing, management came to our table and asked was everything ok at our table, We let her know about the bloom - relayed to her that's its not cut nor prepared. She stated, "we use a device to cut the onions..." We told her, "well they didn't use the device properly, but its ok." She acted like she didn't even care... Overall, management at this location makes Texas Roadhouse looks horrible...we were extremely disappointed - especially having to wait 30min after opening (if anything, just open at 4pm or schedule adequate waitstaff to support dining hours). Most importantly, management should actually care about their customers and be more accommodating to their patrons! The Hostess, the waitress and support staff were doing an outstanding job, considering the lack of support from their management!
