È stato scelto perché il nostro alloggio era a via della Lungara, qndi vicino e più comodo. Avevamo fame e sonno ..ma a volte scegliendo di fretta mangi meglio di altre volte dove dedichi ore prima di prenotare. Ovviamente abbiamo degustato la carne, filetto al pepe verde (straordinariamente fantastico, da lasciare ancora l'acquolina in bocca) ed una tagliata ai funghi porcini, non da meno. Abbiamo trovato questo ristorante su Google, e devo dire che è stata un’ottima casualità. Cibo ottimo, personale gentile e accogliente. Eravamo in 5 e abbiamo mangiato tutti benissimo. Prezzo, per la qualità del cibo, è giusto. Siamo di passaggio a Roma, ma se fossimo stati del posto ci saremmo ritornati sicuramente spesso. Consigliato!!

Una piacevole scoperta durante una visita alla splendida San Pietro. Siamo riusciti a trovare posto per sette persone nonostante fosse tardi, servizio efficiente, personale gentilissimo e cucina a vista. Piatti molto buoni e fatti secondo la tradizione romana. Bravissimi!

Carbonara cremosa e buonissima 🤤 staff molto gentile. Atmosfera più calma rispetto ai ristoranti affollati delle vie più centrali. Abbiamo visto piatti di carne in altri tavoli che sembravano davvero buoni, da provare la prossima volta!

Osteria in una zona molto bella di Roma, ambiente semplice ma accogliente e curato nel dettaglio. Materie prime e cucina a vista. Menù che comprende una discreta scelta di ottimi primi romani, e grande varietà di secondi di carne, con tagli visibili. Contorni ottimi. Selezione di vino interessante. Servizio impeccabile, rapido, cortese, professionale e gradevole. Costo perfettamente in linea con la qualità offerta. Non il classico 'locale turistico' ma perfetto anche per pranzo di lavoro o cene in compagnia di amici.

Location che farebbe pensare al classico ristorante turistico. Invece è una chicca sul lungotevere, ad un tiro da castel Sant'Angelo. Cucina tipica Romana, tutto ottimo, dagli antipasti ai secondi. La coda, le polpette, le paste della tradizione. Tutto ottimo davvero e preparato con maestria. Da segnare tra i posti dove tornare.

Wow! We didn't plan on this restaurant, was a last minute idea post Vatican tour. So we were walk-in and a bit of a wait, but we'll worth it. What a gem! Such a memorable meal. The steak is incredible. The entire experience stood out for us across a 5 night trip. Dont be in a rush though, this is a small and no frills restaurant, just amazing value and quality. Come hungry the portions are huge! (For true steak fans, make sure you go medium rare!). I'm just so sorry we had no space left to try the desserts!

The Tonnarelli Cacio e Pepe was so good, delicious homemade noodles with thick creamy sauce tossed in fresh cracked black peppercorns. Super friendly staff and waitresses! No wait, plenty of tables inside! It looks small from the outside but they have a large back room full of tables! Perfect for a date night, night out with friends, or solo tourist! The food here was really good! I had the oxtail pasta and it was something I could eat every day. We also tried the ragu bianco. The service was a bit confused and it took a while to get to order, but I guess that happens some time. Everyone was very friendly. I also want to mentol the cheap house wine, which was really good.

The meal was truly delightful! We enjoyed two carbonaras, meatballs, a fresh salad, and a dish of meat with arugula and cherry tomatoes. For dessert, we savored two tiramisus and coffee. We had lunch at Osteria Luci in Cucina on a weekday, just the two of us. The place was quite full, but we were lucky enough to get a small table outside. The restaurant is cozy and nicely furnished, with a warm, relaxed atmosphere. The staff was friendly, though it took about 20 minutes before anyone came to take our order — not a big issue, but worth mentioning. We shared a meatball starter and a plate of rigatoni al sugo di coda alla vaccinara: both dishes were tasty and well prepared. For dessert, we had a “Lucimisù” — their take on tiramisù — which was excellent, and a simple dish of fresh pineapple. The final bill was around €25 per person, including still water and no other drinks, which is fair for the location and quality. If you’re looking for a traditional Roman meal in a central, charming spot near Castel Sant’Angelo, this place is definitely worth a stop. Booking might be a good idea, especially at peak hours

Great place to spend a dinner on the patio in the summer! We had the beef tartar, rigatoni carbonara, cacio e pepe and the tiramisu for dessert. We enjoyed all of the dishes but the carbonara was our favourite! It had that rich, egg yolk flavour that you're looking for in a traditional carbonara. it was quite busy on a week day but we showed up without a reservation and were sat within a couple minutes. Serving staff were very friendly, would definitely visit again when we're back in Rome!

The best freaking steak I have ever had. The waitress, Diana, recommended the truffle one and wow! It was delicious, tender, and ordered with veggies on the side. I had the crema catalana as a dessert, and it was really lemony, which I had never tasted before. I liked it, but I wish it was a tiny bit less, but it's just preference, and it was delicious and brought me so much happiness after a long day walking around. The sugar top was perfect and consistency was lovely. Amazing work to the chefs, the food was perfect all around. I will come back if back in Rome.

Buono il servizio, la carbonara un po' troppo al dente (a me piace molto al dente, ma questa era davvero eccessiva, bastava assaggiarla). Onesta la pasta cacio e pepe. Buoni i dolci. Modifico la recensione, essendoci tornato un anno dopo, ho mangiato piuttosto bene, buono il filetto al pepe verde e buono l’antipasto della casa. Anche la pasta alla carbonara è stata gradita e suggerisco di prenderla a chi ci viene per la prima volta. Il servizio però è a volte troppo lento.

Locale in centro a Roma con ambiente molto curato. Cibo buono, della cucina tradizionale romana. Buon rapporto qualità/prezzo, unico neo la cameriera che non capisce l’italiano e che quindi ti ignora finché non arriva l’altro unico collega del ristorante.

Il locale è molto gradevole e accogliente, il personale gentile e il servizio impeccabile. I prezzi nella media, non particolarmente eccessivi, anzi. I piatti si presentano bene, sono eleganti e abbondanti. Ero partita con aspettative molto più alte sul cibo date le recensioni, ma non sono stata molto soddisfatta dei tonnarelli all'amatriciana che ho ordinato. Non sembrava di star mangiando un'amatriciana. Credo sia stato l'aroma della carne, particolarmente speziata, non so dire di preciso. Inoltre era particolarmente salato come piatto. Le tagliatelle al ragù bianco decisamente migliori, infatti avevano un sapore davvero delicato e saporito. Buono anche il lucemisù, di cui ci hanno servito una grande porzione.

Siamo arrivati in questa osteria per puro caso perché lì vicino c’è castel Sant’Angelo che siamo andati a visitare. Alla entrata c’era un ragazzo ho chiesto se c’era posto e mi ha risposto in malo modo senza un minimo di gentilezza . We came out of our way to eat here for dinner one night because of the reviews. I was surprised that was I unable to make reservations as the restaurant was mostly empty during our entire stay. The service was good! But I expected more from the food. We ordered the steak that was supposed to be super tender, but we have had better. The potatoes were seasoned soooooo well! Must order! The veggie side was a bit soggy from the oil. The restaurant is in a very secluded area of the city. By the time we left we had to order a taxi home.

⭐ 1 Star — Steaks Are Nothing but Fat Slabs Seared at Your Table Absolutely do NOT waste your money at this restaurant. I paid for an 800g ribeye at €7 per hectogram and received a pathetic, paper-thin strip of meat that was more than one-third pure fat. Not marbled — literal fat slabs. When I mentioned it to the server, she shrugged and said “sorry,” offering absolutely no fix, no replacement, and no compensation. They genuinely think they can charge full price for a chunk of fat and call it a steak. To make it even worse, they sear these fat slabs table-side, filling the entire room with greasy smoke like a low-budget barbecue gone wrong. Everyone around us had to sit in a cloud of burning gristle. The food is sub-par, the value is awful, and the service is even worse. Save yourself the disappointment — there are hundreds of better restaurants in Rome. TRANSLATED IN ITALIAN ⭐ 1 Stella — Le “bistecche” sono solo blocchi di grasso bruciati al tavolo Assolutamente NON sprecate i vostri soldi in questo ristorante. Ho pagato per una costata da 800g a €7 l’etto e mi hanno servito una fetta sottilissima composta per oltre un terzo da grasso puro. Non marezzatura — solo blocchi di grasso. Per peggiorare tutto, bruciano questi blocchi di grasso direttamente al tavolo, riempiendo la sala di fumo unto come un barbecue improvvisato. Tutti intorno a noi erano avvolti da un odore nauseante di grasso bruciato. Cibo mediocre, servizio pessimo e rapporto qualità-prezzo inesistente. A Roma ci sono posti infinitamente migliori.
