We have had dinner there for a number of years. You can't beat the prices or the quality. I highly recommend the anti pasta. It is huge. My wife and I split it for a light supper. When you chose to eat in the dinning room and eat off the fine dining menu, the food is very good. The fish is fresh and the cooking is competent but not highly sophisticated. It is just good Italian food.
This pizza place is an Anchor to the entire town of Roscoe they have some of the best Italian food around, and in general. They have been doing Italian food the right way for more than 30 years. A must if you are either in the area or driving through.
PIZZA AND THE SALAD ARE GREAT.
The Margerita pizza was awesome. Very friendly staff.
We stopped in and are very glad we did. Pizza was delicious, amazing canolis, eggplant Parm hero was cooked perfectly, chicken Parm hero was incredible. Can't wait to get back for another visit!
Only stoped in for a slice of pepperoni pizza. It was quite good. The service was quick and friendly. Next time I'm in Roscoe I'll definitely stop there again.
Stopped here quickly for some pizza and knots. I've been eating here since I'm a young girl. Amazing food. Fantastic service. Outside seating, which I love. Great, great place.❤🙏
What a quaint, family oriented, and such delicious food. My husband had the Mussel with the best red pasta sauce. And I had the tasty Cod, clams, and mussels. It is very authentic, fresh, and full of robust flavors.
Highly Recommend this Family Owned and Operated Italian Restaurant and Pizzeria for Delicious Food, Quality Ingredients and Authentic Atmosphere. #SmallBizStrong
We enjoyed our meal here. Our server Karissa was friendly and attentive. The food was good and the cannolis were great! Only complaint was the mushrooms on the pizza were canned and not fresh.
These people are the best! We had just gotten to Livingston Manor after a day full of travel. We couldn't find anything open. Everyone kept turning us away. We walked in to Raimondos. The kitchen was closed, but they were gracious enough to make us a couple delicious pizzas to go. They were truly lifesavers. And the pizza was incredible. We will definitely be back when we are in the area again. Thank you so much!!
I’m from Hancock and it’s worth driving the 30 minutes just for this pizza. This is a very professional establishment and the food has been excellent and consistent for years. I introduced this pizza to my family and they drive from Hancock for it also. I will continue to get my pizza here.
Excellent ❤❤❤❤❤ We went to celebrate my husband's 60th birthday day with family & friends. Everyone was pleased with their meals. And the service was wonderful Mary was our server and was very attentive even though it was busy. I was happy that we made reservations sine there were 8 if us dining. We will go back again and again.
Everyone here is extremely hospitable. Their food is exceptional and entirely homemade in the traditional manner. It is the finest Italian cuisine in the region, and I will undoubtedly return soon.
Among the best Italian food I've eaten, truly, and I've eaten in some very good Italian restaurants over the decades. Excellent flavor and texture to the sauces without a lot of fussy ingredients. I first stopped for lunch in Roscoe because it's right off the highway. But I didn't expect such big city food quality in such a physically small town. Raimondo's atmosphere is friendly and casual, with prompt and cordial service. The building is old and needs some upgrading but the proprietor has invested where it really matters--on the food and it's preparation.
Food is delicious here. The staff treat you like family when you walk through the door. A definite do not past without eating here. Right next to 17 in Roscoe. If your traveling this is a great eatery as well a stop to stretch. Its right off highway so hopping back on the highway is very easy. A++++
We went here for an early dinner with 2 family members. Our server was attentive and courteous, the food was delicious. We felt comfortable spending 3 hours catching up with one another, never felt rushed. Great meal, looking forward to coming back soon.
Can't thank our sweet waitress enough after our late lunch visit today headed home Syracuse and visiting our son @ College. She was just finishing a double shift and forgot to put our order in, but with the food delivery (which was dynamite), she let us know about the oversight and comp'd 3 of the most delicious cannolis this Italian family has ever tasted (minus my Italian aunts!!!). I had to grab a slice & garlic knots on the way out just to get a complete sampling....and they did not disappoint! Excellent pizza, garlic knots, wings, panini & Ceasars salad! Can't wait to visit again! Grazie Mille! ☺ 😊 😍 😋
We ordered a cheese pie to go but decided to sit inside and eat. The pie was delicious and reminded us of another pizza from Queens. The owner and staff were nice and the place was clean. We will be coming back again to try their other goodies!
Stopped in after the Christmas Tree lighting at the firehouse across the street. Our waitress was so warm and friendly. Pizza was great and a great warm family friendly atmosphere. Love stopping here each time we are in town. Thank you.
We organize our trips so that we can stop here for a meal whenever we’re in the neighborhood. Great sauce!
Such an awesome spot. Outdoor sidewalk seating. The town is adorable. Super friendly and attentive service. Good pizza and ice cream. Easy off and on the highway. We would definitely stop here again when/if we're passing through.
Came down out of the Beaverkill area for a friend's birthday, and was super pleasantly surprised. The food is very very good, the atmosphere is unpretentious and really gives off cozy family vibes, and the service was quick, friendly, and attentive. They have GF options for their pizza crust which was nice on my stomach, and the pear and cheese fagottini were superb.
I’m from out of town (NJ) so I don’t have a bias for this small town. The food was excellent. I was very impressed. Wings were superb, pizza is pretty good, Italian entrees were delicious. Highly recommend. I came middle of December on a quite night. Still good.
We were in a hurry and wanted to grab a bite. The place is clean but nothing fancy. The service was very fast and the waitress was so kind and helpful. The food is really good, for a small town, we didn't expect that 👏 👌
Not often enough I can say I had good Italian cuisine outside of NYC limits. Well this spot did not disappoint. Friendly service, the food was hot and fresh. Sauce tasted like home. Will be back next time I’m coming thru town.
When I was a kid, this place was a staple on many trips from upstate to NYC. For decades I wasn't even aware there was an actual Roscoe Diner, we ate only here. Two or three times a year. Now, decades later, it's still reliable, it's still delicious, and it's still the only place I'll stop.
Best Pizza around 50 miles radius. People were polite friendly warm. Food homemade great home cooking around. Recommend to family /friends . We are going back again can't wait.
We ordered a meatball pizza. It was huge. Reasonably priced. If we are ever back in Roscoe we will definitely choose this restaurant.
Top notch italian food. I was in Friday night 2/28. The young kid i believe his name is Nick was behind the counter spinning the pizza in the air which was awesome to look at. He was very friendly and welcoming. I had a diavolo pizza he asked me if I liked spicy and gave me some hot sauce. The customer service is amazing will definitely be back! Thank you Raimondos!
With multiple trips to Roscoe for its great fishing, I'd always wanted to eat there but never took the time. This was a great Italian venue with a culturally cosy feel you'd expect, especially for a small town. Although the parking provided was adequate, there were ready options on the street and adjacent retailers . The service, food and costs were very agreeable . Will definitely not pass on this restaurant on my next visit.
Food was DELICIOUS! we came for short visit from Long Island and was a little skeptical about how the pizza was here. And I was blown away. Must try!
Very sweet little Italian place- family centered. I loved the vibe.
Only had pizza this visit, which is one of best in my opinion. It a thin pizza with a well cooked crust. I have been going to raimondos for years. Their entrees are also good also but i go often for the pizza.
Out of town and stopped here for a warm meal before braving the storm back to NYC. We sat by the fireplace. Warm and cozy atmosphere. The service was impeccable, the food came out quickly, and most of all- the food was delectable & fresh. We feel compelled to pass along the word that this place is a gem. Thank you!
Food was amazing! Took a road trip across the state and decided to stop mid-way to grab a bite. Considering I live in New York City, this place is by far has the best tasting pizza and tastes exactly or closely to NYC pizza. 100% recommend, and it’s in a nice little village.
One of the best Italian restaurants I’ve ever been to, after living in NYC, Chicago, and DC! Delicious authentic food with big portions, excellent service, and beautiful restaurant! Must visit! We had the specials: Raimondo’s steamed clams, Fiocchi, and lobster ravioli. Finished with cappuccino and dessert (limoncello cheese cake and hazelnut cake). Mouth-watering! Recommend them all!
First time coming here - they were pretty busy for a Sunday night but happily kept up great service. Ordered two pizzas - sausage and meatballs & chicken, bacon, ranch -- both were so full of toppings and delicious! Garlic knots were soft and full of flavor. Couldn't help but get some fresh filled canollis and a slice of lemon cake. SO GOOD. Will be back again soon!
Quintessential red sauce Italian that has been in Roscoe for 34 years. Fantastic pizza, also. Really nice folks.
Tortellini great! Even better were the Italian dumplings in fettuccine with peach.....easily the best Italian I've had outside of Long Island and Italy. Great service to boot! Local beer too!
The Mediterranean pizza and Tuscan panini were truly delicious and not oily. The ingredients were fresh, and the harmony of flavors was so hands down. Service was attentive. Atmosphere is a little bit old style what I like. I want to visit again!
This place is a staple in Roscoe. Always a stop on the way home from our Cabin for the last 30 years. Great classic Italian dishes. Good pizza, great desserts. If you’re passing through town or staying locally- make this a stop
Raimondo's Pizzeria is one of the best pizzerias in all of Sullivan County. It serves the best Italian dishes to the Rosconian community, complete with a selection of the classic cheese pizza.
This is a favorite eatery in the Roscoe area. Plenty of seating. They can accommodate larger parties. Food and pizza are always good. The best cannolli's I have ever had!
visited raimomdos with my parents. this was our first time. my mom got pizza, i got a chef salad and my dad got the eggplant parm sandwich. we all really enjoyed our meals . the staff was on point and professional and respectful.. we for sure will be returning
Amazing food, great atmosphere and friendly service. I ordered the chicken cutlet on ciabatta. My husband and I shared it. The red peppers on the sandwich were perfectly cooked! Will definitely eat here again when we pass through
I had the best eggplant parm hero in my life last night. They took the skin off, which I was hoping for. It was huge and I ate the whole thing!
Everything is good . Pizza hot sandwiches and meals! If Im in the area I always stop in for a bite!
Absolutely the BEST chicken wings I've had since the 1990s when Bryan's Landing in Ithaca closed!! Wonderful atmosphere. Family owned, and family welcomed when we walked in. Nice fire in back. We were enroute home from an hours' long drive in crappy snowy weather, and what a great and cozy place to land at for a bite to eat. Highly recommend!
Visited this place while traveling through the area. What delicious food. There was a "fiocchi" special which was pasta pockets filled with italian cheeses and PEARS. Yes, the fruit. It was incredible. The pizza was great as well. Service very good. Can't wait to go back. Hidden gem.
We stumbled upon this place while driving and got off the highway to find someplace to eat. The menu is huge and the food is authentic and delicious. The service is friendly and efficient, too. We took home desserts and meals for later! Everything was so good! Thank you! We will definitely be back again!
Food was great. I had the Fiocchi and it was really good. So was my cannoli for dessert. We were in some fishing clothes (not waders) and it seemed like being in casual clothing was accepted. There is a tile floor casual area up front and a more dining room area beyond that, so you could choose the atmosphere you like. They seem accommodating to large family groups, based on the people seated around us. Our waitress, Jennifer, was friendly, helpful with answering questions, and did a great job. Reasonably priced.
I stopped in late at night just before they closed and ordered Chicken Marsala w/mushrooms and it was so delicious !!... Also ordered a slice of margarita with pesto and onions again. It was so tasty. I would definitely go back to this restaurant again and order some more dinners when I'm back in town. I give the chef and the staff five stars
Stopped in after fishing all day, split a pie with my family. It was one of the most satisfying cheese pies I’ve had in a while. Really reminds you of how a good slice used to be. I would come back every time I’m up here, and highly recommend it. Definitely one of the best family owned spot for miles.
Raimondo’s where do I begin. We walked in this place coming from deli high and let’s just say I was caught off guard. I really didn’t want to stop I’m from New York City and I have high expectations for pizza. This place didn’t disappoint at all. The pizza was thin crispy. 0 flop perfect crust sauce was on point cheese had to be low moisture mozzarella maybe had a blend I’m not 100% but was delicious if you in this area I’m truly jealous. They don’t make pizza like this anymore. Glad I stopped by and had a slice I truly enjoyed it and if I’m ever near I’ll definitely be returning and trying more in the menu. I’m excited to return. Also they have beers in the fridge in the bad with some iced cups definitely have one 😂 they are great Thanks like always for your support and follows I truly appreciate it My IG is @imbroke_rob and @imbroke_eats 💗
Came passing through on a road trip and found a hidden gem, truly an authentic Italian restaurant with a lot of menu options fairly priced. This chicken cutlet on ciabatta was so fresh truly best one I’ve had because of the peppers, prosciutto and fresh mozzarella. Highly recommend worth stopping for
Such great food! We had the mussels special in this amazing marinara sauce. Also the lamb in butter sauce. The bread is fresh out of the oven and also great. The salad was fresh and homemade Italian dressing made it even better. We were too stuffed to get dessert but they looked as yummy as the dinner was. I highly recommend this restaurant. The waitress was very nice too and kept up our drinks and bread.
Visited here this past weekend for dinner with myself my parents and brother for an early birthday dinner for my mother. The food was great and decently priced, waitress and staff was friendly and attentive. Dinner and dessert was delicious for upstate Italian food. However it could use some remodeling on the inside to make it a little more put together however would visit again.
This place has been around for a while and based off the food I understand why. Definitely made with love the tiramisu was light and tasty the margarita pizza was phenomenal sauce is just right ... owner is really friendly . Lots of seating indoor and outdoor great for families or date night.
Great place to stop after a long hike. Customer service was great! They serve delicious pizza, although their dough was a bit dry and not toasted like we love it but they had really crispy hot wings! We ordered our hot sauce to the side - however , their sauce was soo good We dipped our pizza in it.
Lunch platters have been very solid in two recent stops passing through from FLX and Oneonta. Service is outstanding. House Chianti is very good and the interior is clean but 30 years old. This will be our regular rest stop.
A great place with really tasty Italian food. The owners are the nicest people. I've had dinners there and just gone in for a coffee and the are just as nice each time.
Above average food. We went on a busy night, but still, even considering, service was slow and poor. We had to wait an hour to have our order taken. Only reason for the 4 star was the lovely older lady who noticed we we're waiting and helped us and repeatedly checked up on us all night afterwards. She made it worth the trip. It might have just been a busy Saturday night, but the slow service otherwise ruined what would have been a great dining experience.
Always great pizza and food nice atmosphere
Stopped here on our way to NYC, and we were glad we did. The food took a little while, but worth the wait because the food came out nice and hot. Service was good, and the place was clean with a friendly feel. I really enjoyed the Chicken Vallesco… the salad was great, and the bread was wonderful, and the portions were big!
Watching the sun set on the Beaverkill River while eating a Raimondo's Pizza-what an experience. Wish I could have taken the picture of the smell as you walk in their restaurant. Aromas of baking bread, cheese, sauce. And right there in front are the pizza ovens with the father wielding his peel, the tool of his trade that reaches in the oven and pivots the pizzas with expert precision.. You can watch him carefully check and spin your huge pizza while you wait. This place is family owned, I think, they have great hours, a full menu, and they're reliable...even when all the other restaurants are closed (we came here on a Monday and many restaurants don't even open until Thursday here!). You can always get a nice meal in the little town of Roscoe 7 days a week at Raimondo's. We've returned many times and are always delighted to see they are still going strong.
Overall not a bad meal. I had a meatball parm he had cheese steak. The order was a little messed up but not a big deal...his cheese steak was ordered with just onions but came to the table with mushrooms and onions. Good news he doesn't mind mushrooms and isn't allergic. Waitress was good. Atmosphere is quaint, typical pizza place/ Italian restaurant decor. There is outdoor seating and parking is for the most part convient.
Was able to walk in on a Friday evening with a group of 4 with no reservation. The staff were friendly and attentive to my friend’s dietary restrictions. What is super nice is that the prices are very reasonable for the portions, and all pasta dishes include soup/salad and hot Italian bread. The salad tasted pretty fresh, and the homemade Italian vinaigrette was very good. I got the spaghetti with meatballs, mushrooms, and Italian sausage. The sausage was cooked a little too long, and the sauce was okay. I thought it was a little strange that the mushrooms weren’t mixed into the sauce. Would come back to try the pizza though!
Ok spot. Old establishment, so things are dated. They were pretty busy with inside, outside and pickup orders. Under Covid they were spacing tables and only 3 tables inside were being used. However they only had 1 waitress, 1 person running orders/payments and 1 pizza maker. We ordered slices which came out fast and hot, however the whole pizza we ordered took a very long time. The pizza also lacked seasoning, we had to add salt and oregano. We ordered the white pizza and I wish it had had chunks of garlic on it. Service was friendly though and I understand its a small town in the middle of a Pandemic so I definitely don't fault them too much.
Pizzas ok but if you want a salad, go somewhere else. Ceasar salad is a $10 bowl of croutons and romaine lettuce. Straight robbery for a salad that takes 15 seconds to make
They were able to seat out large party very quickly. However the food, especially any variation of their Alfredo pasta, was very unsatisfactory. The pasta itself was overcooked and the “alfredo” sauce tasted like it was just milk and some cheese. They also added ham to the top of this watery Alfredo and called it “carbonara”. The waitstaff was very appreciative of the feedback and were overall very kind. Unfortunately, for the price, this food was not up to snuff.
Not a very good experience and very expensive for what I got for the money. This meal was not freshly made to order and the chicken parmigiana was husby testing and tuff for a chicken a parmigiana meal. The side of pasta was good but not worth the price of $24 dollars plus tip for the quality of this meal. If I am in the area in the future I may stop in for the pizza because I did take note that the locals were only ordering the pizza and it did look acceptable but I will not be ordering an entree here . I thought this restaurant was a very poor value for the quality and price. For the price it should have been made to order and served tender hot and tasty, it was not!!! so if you would like to call yourself a restaurant owner you should take pride in your product you are serving to the public and honestly it was not very good food to me, maybe good in a third world country? however in the USA, It Was a very poor value for the price!!!
This is a cozy place with friendly enough service but interior was quite dated. The food also left much to be desired. We were pretty happy with the lentil soup (which was actually more of a minestrone) and caprese salad but the short rib special and chicken parm were subpar. Would maybe try again for the pizza and cannolis.
My husband and son took me out to Raimondo's for my birthday. When we walked in, we stood there waiting to be seated then was told to go sit wherever we wanted. So we found a table and waiting a good 10 minutes before a waitress came over to take our drink order. Once we got our drinks we placed our order. My son ordered a ceaser salad and a cheese burger. My husband and I got a buffalo chicken pizza and a half dozen of garlic knots. None of our food came out together. My son finished his food before we even got out pizza, so when we got our pizza I just had it boxed so we could leave. We got home and the cheese wasn't even melted on the pizza. We were there for almost 2 hours. The waitress was very rude and was more worried about making alcohol drinks, then bringing out food. The garlic knots were doughy and had no flavor. So much for a good birthday dinner.
We came in hungry! The waitress was seemingly disinterested, or perhaps just overwhelmed. After waiting at our table for several minutes with no service, we left. Oh well. The Spotted Cow down the street was delicious and inexpensive, with great service.
Horrible experience. The pizza was extremely soggy and bad. The chef was rude when we pointed it out. His excuse was that there were vegetables on it. This is not the first time we have had a vegetarian pizza but it is the first time we tried the most disgusting pizza. Had to waste the entire order.
We ordered fried shrimp. It was shrimp that you warm on the microwave. The vegetables were from frozen to microwave. The coffee terrible, it probably was from early morning and it was 3 pm. I was charged $52.00.
The worst experience EVER! Ordered dinner after 20 min wait. Received salad after entree, bread came after dinner was eaten, only 1 dinner delivered to table then 20 mins later the pizza for other guest was brought to the table. Had to ask 3 times for parmigiana, finally went to another table and got it myself. Waitress said “no more balsamic dressing” while it sat on other tables, SO salad that came as 2nd course was without dressing UNTIL we asked another guest if we could share theirs. never received our appetizers. Never received water as requested. Chicken marsala was passable, greasy, no detection of white wine and the mushrooms were piled so high it was laughable, the pasta wallowed in grease.
I walked in and asked to see a menu, I was able to see a menu before the worst waitress I’ve ever encountered in my decades of enjoying meals at an assortment of restaurants throughout the world before the menu was ripped from my hand and I was told to sit and she would wait on me. Never, never have I ever encountered such a rude inconsiderate wait staff as the woman who grabbed the menu from me, told me to sit and wait for her to wait on me. She never did wait on me, instead she moved passed me several times avoiding acknowledging me or even giving me a menu. If the owner wants to have customers I would suggest she be removed immediately. I would further suggest he review other wait staff to assure her actions are not reflective of other wait staff. As for me, I will be certain to share my experience with my circle of fiends and national and in professional acquaintances.
Worst dining experience ever. The Fettuccine Alfredo was practically a watery soup with random chunks of ham thrown in—completely unappetizing. The burger was dry and flavorless. On top of that, the ambience felt stuck in the past and in desperate need of an update. Definitely would not recommend.
Well, I don't want to run down a business, but my experience was not good. The food, that is. Did take out, people were nice, promptly got to my order, but I came away very disappointed. I did show up right at 11am when they open and I noticed garlic knots in the display case/warmer. I ordered 4 garlic knots and I chose a calzone with sausage, peppers and onions. Everything was sub-par. I couldn't even really eat the calzone as it was so sloppy, floppy, and visually unappealing. You'll see the photos. The cheeses were very separated and the mozzarella didn't really melt, it congealed. When the calzone cooked, it burst, and the contents slid a little as I carried it to my vehicle. Pretty much everything came out of it, but I was able to slide it back in. The garlic knots had no garlic. I mean none. If it's in there, it's hiding. And no butter either. Very dry. It looks like a place that's been in business for many years, and I can't imagine that it would still be going if people didn't frequent it and like it enough to go back, but I assure you, the calzone is not going to win anyone over. I really wanted a couple slices, but I didn't see any pizza out, so if I'm in the area again, maybe I'll swing by around noon and try a slice, but as far as the calzone and knots, never again. Hard to rate the atmosphere as I went there right when it opened and it was empty. I mean, I was in at 11am on the nose, so it's gonna be tough to be packed and have a good vibe going at that time, can't blame the restaurant. I tried to eat the calzone, but after a couple bites, I decided to feed the wildlife.that's the last photo.
