Great diner atmosphere, it is like an old 50’s cafe, very cozy. Small place but the service was big, they were quick and very friendly. I had the teriyaki chicken with home made buns. The meal was great and homemade buns added that extra flavor. They also have have a great breakfast menu which I will be checking out in the near future.

I arrived at the end of the breakfast rush on Sunday, so I had to wait a couple of minutes to be seen, but there were open seats so it was good. My drink was served quickly and the staff kept an eye out and asked about refills several times during my visit. I ordered the double burger with bacon, cheese, and grilled onions. It also came out surprisingly fast. Generous portion of fries, but the burger was glorious. Perfectly cooked, super juicy and tasty. The toppings were in good proportion and fresh. The homemade bun kind of disintegrated in my hands as I ate, but I didn't mind at all. I don't know how, but I made room for cherry pie a la mode. It wasn't homemade, but as good as the best store bought. The staff is very welcoming and friendly. I will be back soon.

The diner's atmosphere and staff were extremely nice. I was told the hamburgers were homemade and are amazing. However, I had the breakfast and it was still great food regardless. Prices are fair, definitely worth a shot.

I’m new to the area and have passed by the diner several times. I decided to stop in for a bite to eat. Ordered eggs over medium and bacon, biscuit. Eggs were cooked perfectly. No runny yolk and the whites were done right! Biscuit so big I took half home. I will be back if the regulars will have me. Just keep doing what you’re doing.

This is a fantastic little diner tucked away in the Roseville Square Shopping Center. The breakfast here is absolutely delicious. The options are pretty standard, but have some fun names to them. I'm usually here for breakfast, but they also have some pretty good burgers and sandwiches. Personally; my favorite is the chicken fried steak and eggs, which I like from here batter than anywhere else. My wife and daughter's "go to" is the Cinnamon French Toast and my son can't get enough of their pancakes and sausage. Overall, the food here is delicious and the staff is super friendly. Chubby's gets my wholehearted recommendation.

Burger was awesome and the the staff was awesome I was seated right away my waiter glen was friendly and made me feel welcome. Definitely coming back here again

We were on a road trip, and we stopped in Roseville to use the EV chargers right across the street from Chubby's. We decided to try Chubby's out while we waited -- the food was delicious (we ordered burgers, pancakes, and hash browns), and the decor felt really cozy and classic. If I ever pass through on another road trip, I will definitely be back!

Love the staff!! The food.... Oh my .. SO GOOD. Waffles are my favorite. Pancakes could be cooked a tad better but the shakes ughh very yummy and the fries are average. They could do better on either cooking them or having different fries. Wish I was more financially able to tip more than I do. They deserve all the tips, a broke girl still likes to eat though. Love coming here and will keep coming here. Strongly recommend!!

I love a small old school mom and pop diner. Uniquely made hash browns not that crap from a bag, try it you'll see. Delicious sausage and the biscuits and gravy are the best around the area. The gravy was so creamy, rich and flavorful. Far better than that overhyped joint down the street. The service was amazing as well, I cant remember the young girls name but she was so helpful and kind to me an my mom. She even gave me extra gravy to take home since I couldn't eat everything. Ill be back for sure. 🔥🔥🔥. Went back and got chicken fried steak today 10/23. Yes I put extra pepper on everything, even my my own cooking. Everything still delicious and service still great.

Old school Chubby's Diner blast from the past. We like coming here for breakfast it's a classic. The daily specials are always good and sure to fill you up. I love their coffee too. Ultimate omelette is an excellent menu choice for the mushroom lover. And I always love when they do the Mexican scramble in the daily specials. Location isn't huge, only 10 tables and 8 counter seats. So there might be a little wait on a busy morning. Enjoy! 🥓🍳🥞☕🥐

We made a pitstop here on our way to Lake Tahoe. We got the chicken salad sandwich, chicken nuggets, Philly, cheesesteak, and mushroom burger. Everything was amazing! The best part was the service. Our server was Cynthia and she was so helpful, kind and friendly. Thank you Cynthia!

My experience here was very good,The food was amazing,The atmosphere was very nice and the staff were very nice,I would suggest adding hot chockalote to the menus,a wide variety of coffee to the menu,adding tropical drinks to the menue adding teas to the menue,creating much more comfordable lighting,adding options for things to put in coffee such as cinnamon and honey,adding very comfordable lighting and much more training for the chefs.

The staff and owners are A++ with personalized experienced each time. Heavenly eating experience each time consistently. The atmosphere takes you back to the past in 60s and 70s when people where still nice and friendly. Their food is like Mom's cooking. Very consistent taste and quality in food. Affordable price always.

We went here not expecting much and had a fantastic morning. Tatiana, our server, was SO NICE and SO ATTENTIVE, she was easily the highlight of our visit! She's that sort of over the top nice that you never experience. She was fantastic and made us feel super welcome. I got the chicken fried steak breakfast and my wife got a traditional breakfast with biscuit and gravy on the side. First off, the biscuits are amazing, massive, fluffy, just perfect! Tatiana brought me honey with mine and recommended it, and she was SO RIGHT. The biscuit with butter and honey was incredible! The country gravy is really great too, not too thick where it becomes the entire meal, but flavorful and rich and hearty. My chicken fried steak was great, the eggs were perfectly cooked, everything was really good. There were two things that I think could be improved. The potatoes had a great freshness and texture, but they completely lacked seasoning. No salt, no pepper, no herbs or spices. They would have been completely transformed by some rosemary, thyme, a little paprika or something, and salt and pepper. The orange juice was definitely from concentrate, and while it was pretty good, I've just been spoiled by not from concentrate juices. It's definitely not as big a deal as the potatoes though. Again, Tatiana was great and we would come back JUST for her even if the food sucked, but most of the food was really good and worth a visit anyway!

Hubby and I have been coming here for 20+ years! Owners Jason and Glenn make you feel instantly welcome. Servers Tatiana and Cynthia are always attentive and lovely. The food couldn't be better, and plenty of it. Recommend the mushroom Swiss burger on homemade bun. Also the chicken fried steak breakfast and all omelets so delicious! We are lifelong customers.

The owners are wonderful and they treat their customers like family. I love going here because the food is consistent, fresh, and served with love. I enjoy the Chili often. As well as their french toast, patty melt, and omelettes. This is a mom and pop restaurant who have barely scraped by due to covid. do yourself and the wonderful owners a favor and drop on in for a bite to eat. Let's keep local businesses thriving.

Great classic style dinner with nice retro style/ambiance. Breakfast (all day!), burgers, sandwiches, pie, ice cream and milk shakes too. Has decent kids menu. Check the whiteboard by the cash register for specials as you walk in. Generous portions at reasonable prices. There was a steady stream of take out orders (can phone ahead) and regulars who were greeted by name while we were there. Plenty of parking, hard to see from the street, it's in the same building as the Starbucks just a different corner.

The food was very good and the service was just excellent. The restaurant is a little run down inside, but it seems like a sign of the times and economy. I will go back, nice to go to a locally owned place.

Good plain old breakfast, good service. However, coffee was disgusting. The coffee pot we were served with was made of see through glass and instead of being clean and shinny, it was dark and you couldn't see through. It looked like it has never been cleaned. I have seen some dirty carafs but this one takes the cake. Manager should probably check to see what's happening in the dinner.
