Whenever my mom comes to town we always have to go here. The food is great, they are large portions as well. Service is very attentive and quick. Love all the decor atmosphere is great.

This is the hidden gem of Round Rock. It's comfort food, it's date food, birthday food, business lunch food, always amazing and fresh food, and no better staff can be found anywhere. We were there literally a minute before they closed for lunch (Google has the hours wrong from 11 - 9:30) and instead of rushing us off, they hurried to get out orders and serve us! I love them.

Came on a Sunday around 2:30pm, party of two was sat immediately. We were promptly greeted by our server who took our drink order and brought them out quickly. (They have Coke products, Unsweetened tea with sugar at the table etc.) We were obsessed with the Crab Rangoons before the restaurant burned a couple years ago and literally haven't had any anywhere else until today, they were great, we missed them so much. The rangoons came out piping hot, crunchy fresh, as well the sweet and sour sauce was hot. Husband ordered Sesame Chicken, which came with a garnish of broccoli, and a cup of steamed rice. Also ordered Lo Mein noodles to pair. Husband loved his order and I tried the chicken, breading was nice and thin, super saucy, just delicious. I ordered Sweet and Sour Chicken which came with chopped Bell Peppers, Onion and Pineapple chunks with the entrée, and a cup of steamed rice, as well as a side of Sweet and Sour Sauce. The breading was perfect, thin yet crispy, all white meat and cooked just right. All potions were enough to have 2 meals from, so great deal for a reasonable price! The atmosphere was enjoyable, played a wide variety of fun music, lighting is not too dim but not bright by any means, decor on point. Overall a great experience for us on our first visit back since they re-opened. Great as always. We love Hunan!

This is the 2md Sunday we have been here and the food is great. The proteins and big. If you are in a group of 5 ppl and y'all get a different plate each yall would be able to share and enjoy everyone's food. Prices are reasonable and will not break the bank. Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable about the food. Only thing about this place. Don't come in during the lunch rush. It may be 25 to 45 minutes wait. But it is worth the wait.

Wonderful food! Made accommodations for my shellfish allergy by omitting oyster sauce from Hunan chicken 'gravy'. Edamame as appetizer was tasty. Service was fast, polite & efficient; even though we arrived around 12:15, our wait time was only about 20 minutes, just what was estimated. The restaurant was crowded, so that's always a great sign! We thoroughly enjoyed our meal.

Hunan Lion is one of the best Chinese restaurants i have been to in a long time. The food has so much flavor and is cooked to perfection .The wait staff is very polite and prompt to take care of you.The atmosphere of the restaurant is awsome with low playing music and sometimes silence so you can actually hear the person you are sharing this amazing dinning experience with.

Atmosphere and decor is nice. I was told it was renovated. The host is really friendly! The food is really good! The portion sizes are big. You get your money’s worth. We tried multiple dishes. Thai Basil Chicken, King Pao Shrimp and Orange Chicken were great dishes! Orange Chicken is crispy! We kept going back for more even though we were full. Oh, Crab Ragoons is a MUST! Edamame is good too. I didn’t try the egg rolls or lo mein. I look forward to trying those next time. Highly recommend this place!

This is now our ever favorite Chinese restaurant! Oh my goodness!! Their food, I mean everything we ordered was DELICIOUS!! It was served clean and cooked👌 to perfection! We are definitely going there (I don't mind the drive) if we wanna have some Chinese cuisine. Also, I totally recommend that place 100%!

The food is excellent here but the service is so joyful. There is a waitress here who has sunshine in her heart and a rainbow beaming from her spirit. We will not sit down unless she is working because it's part of the experience. The lunch menu is clutch.

Love the New Renovation, the Decor is so Chic and Stylish, the artwork on the walls in place of the mirrors is beautiful and I like the new country washed tables and light fixtures, diffently made it modern with a twist. The food is not the same huge portions, but it still fills up the average person. Quality of flavor never left, but the Quantity for your money has gone down. The Presentation of dishes has also changed. Waiters are always friendly. Downsize no refills. Still a good place to go for tasty food.

2nd time coming here with the family and they did not disappoint. Food taste fresh and full of flavor. Large portions for a great price. 1dish can feed 2-3 people depending on their appetite. Waiters are very helpful in helping you decide on what to get and are always there when you need them. Highly recommend this place to everyone.

Ordered delivery through UberEats. The food was great but all the sauce from our food leaked out of the containers . Very disappointed at how this was packaged. Also, last order came in plastic black containers and this time came in white foam containers. Not very consistent.

Ordered the sesame chicken mild, fried rice and vegetable egg roll. The chicken was decent, but the rice that is a 3 dollar up charge was not and the egg roll was not good either. Lacked that classic flavor of Chinese food. Price is a bit much for the quality and taste of the food.

The shrimp fried rice & orange chicken actually taste very good ....thanks to the Chef....the chicken soup was kinda ok....the egg roll was chewy...it took forever to savor the taste but I am pleased.....as far as the owner in charge of your bill....she has no people skills whatsoever...she only knows to be very rude directly....don't change your mind about fried versus steamed rice no problem but let us know as 1st time customers what you've added to the price......she fussed that extra will be charged to the cashier??? Then while we were waiting on our food, my brother asked for water and the owner wouldn't let the cashier get it the whole debacle was weird... the owner walks back into the kitchen & decided on her own when she came back out & loudly announces that he could only have bottled water in front of everyone dining & picking up orders...ok I have money bring the water but she only brought our order out put it on the table & she walked off fussing...lol ...we were still waiting but she never said that she wasn't getting the water & she never brought the water...it's 100 degrees outside what restaurant acts like that to a paying customer...all she did was fuss at the poor young lady waiting on us who obviously wants to do good plus she needs her job....I paid for my food so why he was denied a glass of water is hideous....thank God the food was to go..... I don't know if the terrible lack of service is worth a return visit. We were not welcomed! Shame on you! You can't make this up! Lol
