Don’t let that 3 star fool you, this place has soul. Just sometimes they run out of stock of good food. The staff are very kind
The gentleman at the front was super friendly, very customer oriented. It was my first time over there and it was a quick bite to each and do some work. Wouldve stayed longer and ordered more food but duty calls.
I came in around 6:30 pm and walked bought 2 combos the two front register staff members was amazing very polite very helpful and understanding and the food was fresh and delicious the lobby was very clean everything organized I loved it!
Let me just say that Lando and Nicolas make a great team. Their customer service is “Outstanding”, they keep the restaurant clean and the food is always fresh. My first experience back in 2023 at this particular location was absolutely horrible/ unbelievable; but now, I’m a regular. Whoever hired these guys did a great job. Thank you!!!
I have frequently visited this establishment. My last two visits were not uo to par. The visit prior to this one, I paid for a family meal, they forgot to give me my drink, after having to wait, then go in to see my order sitting on the counter. Last night, I took photos, I wanted the 4.99 combo advertised. Charged me for regular price sandwich. Change was short by 20 cent, and got to door with order, looked inside, NO FRIES. Had to go back to counter to request them. So.ething is lacking in the training process. Hope ya get better. Praying that you do better next time.
It appears the recipe has changed since I last had this chicken. It wasn’t unpleasant, but it wasn’t what I remembered. It wasn’t bad at all. I still ate it. Customer service was satisfactory. The location is next to a gas station, which may matter to some people but didn’t bother me. Overall, no major issues! No complaints. Neutral review.
Not sure why they advertise smokehouse chicken and in the heart of lunch hour and even in the hour after they do not have any. There was no time table for when it would be ready so thinking after lunch there should be some cooking and ready .. that was not the case . I’m a traveling person and when I am able to stop to eat I would like to know that what ever item is advertised all over the building and inside would be available this is ridiculous.. “sorry” doesn’t explain
Went to this location today to get chicken, drove from Royse City at that. Placed a 12 piece all white Chicken only order, 6 breast & 6 wings. My total for the was $32 dollars and some change! Get home open the box and I have 4 breast and 5 wings. I have been calling the number listed for this location for 2 hours and no one is answering. When a customers pay their money for a food order, YES WE WANT THE CORRECT! Yes it’s just 3 pieces of chicken missing but that’s not the point, the point is I paid my money to this establishment and I want what I paid for!!!!! I will be stopping by this location tomorrow when I drive into Dallas to voice my concerns with the manager and to who ever the franchise order is, it’s important that your employees take the time to a customer order correct because the young man that fixed my order knew the count was off and there was no more regular white meat ready, he could have given me spicy but just don’t short change me but yet charge me for something and not give it to me !!!!! And seems like the owner only comments to the reviews that give 5 stars and totally disregard the 100’s with the true reviews. So with a owner as such now I see why lacks and falls short in every way!!!!
Waited for about 20 mins at the window. The cashier never mentioned they had to make more or have me wait (other churchs chickens let me know) and then to give us all burnt or almost burnt biscuits. Would not be returning to this location. (The flash makes them look lighter than in person)
They did not complete 😢 my order properly. It was to be a 10 piece mix and it was totally ( tucked) up I live a pretty good ways to have to traveling back so they can correct my order. It had eight mini very small pinkie size wings hard ,as if they had been under light and rejected by others possibly. And two of everything else that go in a mix order. I was so displease . I genuinely look at my chicken when I get home because I figured it was gonna be perfect fresh and hot presentation. Churches you are failing your customers. 1700 Dalrock Road in Rawlett, TX 75088 I called for 3 days but you would never answer your phone. Why the heck you don't answer all day for 3 days. You are very much aware of these problems. This is the 3rd day I will be in your stor soon as I can drive back to your town about this issue. Corporate seems to be Popeyes Chicken they don't answer phones withers. Now this concerns my curiosity about your operation I will dig further into this matter. ~SP
It would probably have been good if they didn't lie about what time they closed. I showed up before they were supposed to have closed and it looked as if they had been closed for awhile.
I live across the street, I frequent this place, sometimes the chicken is fresh, sometimes it is not. I use to be a Store Leader for a chicken place on the east coast, Royal Farms for 4 years, this place specifically this location is so disappointing, dirty, grimy, not clean, dried up food pieces all over, not cleaned in dining area, the workers well a majority of them are not friendly but the bigger guy with the beard goatee is, he always takes care of the customers but the girl that looks like a giant Dora the explorer, she was moving slower than a snail in molasses trying to get to her food stamps. She rang up the couple in front of me, then turned around to stare at nothing then took two drive thru orders before she helped the couple that was waiting in front of me and then I left because I work from home and I wanted my lunch, I just wanted my god damn lunch how hard is it to train someone to have a sense of URGENCY! On my life I never hired anyone to be slow, if you were slow you didn’t stand a chance, get your training dept in here and fix this, I waited 25 minutes and she didn’t even say welcome to church’s or acknowledge my presence, the worst customer service I have ever seen IN MY LIFE. I’m going to be calling the health dept after work and have them do a visit. Sense of urgency church’s! Yal maybe need to go to CHURCH and pray the lord Jesus of chicken world can give yall some wings and hot chicken wings, wings to FLY THESE SLOW PEOPLE OUTTA THERE. Please reach to me to resolve this or I will just call the health dept and shut this place down.
I had a very disappointing experience at this location. The restaurant was not clean, tables were left dirty, and the staff seemed to be moving extremely slowly. Employees did not acknowledge customers, and their attitude came across as unhelpful and dismissive. On October 29, 2025, around 3:20 PM, I went to pick up my food during my lunch break and ended up waiting over 36 minutes without being assisted. I ultimately had to leave without my order because no one seemed willing to help. This isn’t the first time I’ve experienced issues here; previous visits have also included incorrect orders and poor service. The team working this shift needs serious retraining in both customer service and efficiency.
I ordered a Chicken breast and opened up the box and it had been deep fried several times and looked so burned. They said they would make another one. It was about 15 mins and they gave me a bag with another chicken. I opened the bag it was so angry and it looked exactly like the same piece. I went back and saw all of them were exactly like what both pieces looked like. They said I could get chicken tenders instead. Omg all of their food was all old and the chicken had been cooked several times in old grease!! The worse experience EVER!!
Spicy chicken wrap had just a lot of cheese and stale chicken strip and made me sick
Please was empty and no one responded via drive through nor the phone. Totally horrible. Just shut down and close the freakin doors. What’s the purpose of having a restaurant if you’re not planning on serving.
I asked for freshly fried chicken to my surprise they put the old chicken back in the grease 😑I ordered original not spicy. This place is an absolute disaster. Well miss Amy was absolutely amazing! Her spirit is very bright! She is the only reason I didn’t act out. I wouldn’t recommend this place to no one. They need to revamp management and cooks. They gave me fresh chicken but it was still fried in old grease. Like shut the whole place down at this point. 🙄.
I never leave reviews but feel I have to make one now. This was the worst experience I have ever had at any fast food place. We placed an online order and drove about 30 minutes to pick it up. When we get there my husband goes in and is told they don't have it and when he showed the employee our receipt and our bank account where the money came out he said it wasn't his problem. My husband asked to speak to the manager and he said there wasn't one on duty. My husband asked that he call them. The employee said he called the manager and that we would not be getting the food. We should have left then but my husband asked that he speak to her directly, she said just this time and that he write his order down, his name, and number. That's when I came in to see what was taking so long. The employee had my husband write all the info down and then asked for a picture of his drivers license. After all that the employee said we still weren't getting the food. I said I was confused why we just gave them all that information then and he said it was so they could investigate why they didn't receive our order. My husband said to call the manager back and put her on speaker. The employee kept refusing but finally agreed. She told him to make the food. The employee was pissed but made it. We were already nervous about eating the food because of how the employee was acting. But we were definitely not going to eat after getting this in our order. We called the corporate number immediately. They were apologetic. Agreed that we shouldn't eat the food and that we would receive a refund and that someone would reach out to us in a couple of days. No one ever reached out. We kept calling and calling and they just kept saying someone would get back to us. We finally hear from someone and he was pretty nice at first. He said he fired everyone there and had a whole new staff. Don't know if that's true. He wanted to just give us food instead of a refund. Finally he agreed to it but we had to drive all the way back to get it in cash. I will just never go back to any Church's Chicken again!
(This picture was a little while ago, July 23) I would say that I never had Church’s Chicken and this experience just ruined my chance to try some chicken there. There was a roach in the box when we opened it and had to return it, I would say the woman taking our order was nice. So I do feel bad to have to give this review. I was even told by one of my boss, and apparently they had roaches in their food when she went. And another mention how the chicken was raw. This is the only picture I have about the roach, again do feel bad because the one with the glasses (Don’t know her name) was nice. But never again. Maybe other church’s places but not here.
