Place is legit. Chicken Parm sub and cheese steak were bomb. Bring your appetite. Portions are huge. Ownership is super friendly too.

Excellent pizza! we figured we would meet there halfway for our party didn't have high expectations BC it was small but we were proven wrong! Fresh dough, fresh cheese and toppings, fresh veggie pizza, fresh granted pecorino Romano. Quality place will be back!

I never leave reviews but this is hands down the best pizza in Rochester. It’s so hard to find good pizza here compared to the Buffalo area, highly recommend!

Love this pizza. Slices are great, pies are great! The red sauce is super good on the pies...not sweet, it's very traditional with extra flavor.

Unique and tasty. My only regret would be not asking for extra meat hot sauce. Will def be back... To my fridge too for another 3 mouthfuls

Absolutely delicious pizza! You can tell the ingredients are fresh and the cheese! Omg the cheese pull with the first slice was just 🤌 *muah*🤌 The garlic bread is made on a nice and fluffy loaf with a great distribution of garlicy butter and cheese! Would definitely recommend!

Amazing! Nothing like homemade sauce from the best tomatoes grown in California, along with homemade sausage with wonderful fennel flavoring. Well worth the 6 mile detour off I-90! There's a sweet outdoor eating area. Don't let the small restaurant fool you. Montesano's delivers generous portions, big taste and the love put into the cooking from large hearts. Reminds me of the little Italian restaurants in my home town of Eat Boston. The best food ever!

You close your eyes and dream 🛌 of a time when you were little tugging at Nani’s leg as she’d would cut me a hunk of the parmesano reggiano and I loved it with 🍇 and out the kitchen I ran as she rolled the cavatele. This place is just a good local spot … I’ll stop now because I’ll write a book about this place. The sauce , the dough, everything…. 🔥 and the bread 🥖 for your panino is the best..

This was my first time eating there and I was very satisfied with the pizza.I met the owner and he was very pleased to have my wife and I stop by. We will definitely be back. I want to tryout the subs he makes they sound so good 👍

I just moved to Henrietta and am trying to get familiar with new places to eat. Was craving pizza one day, was gonna DoorDash but decided I didn’t want to pay all the additional fees. I saw this restaurant listed and decided to pick up. This is my go to pizza spot, I won’t even bother trying another other place. This food is fantastic, everything hits, and the owner is super nice and friendly. Oh and I almost forgot to mention that on top of great food and service, the prices are amazing. Compared to some of the other local places i previously tried, I saved money coming to Montesanos.

The pizza here is phenomenal. I get it every week and never disappoints. That says a lot because I'm pretty critical and snobby when it comes to pizza. Montesano's hits the spot every time. Thanks for being awesome.

Ordered a medium pizza and chicken parm sub for our first time trying Montesano’s Pizza. Definition of Mom & Pop Italian pizza. Thicker crust, western NY style pizza with plenty of cheese and toppings (crispy bottom!). Chicken Parm sub had some weight to it with chicken, cheese and sauce edge to edge. Overall a great food experience for this locally owned 3rd generation Italian pizza shop. I will definitely be back to try other menu items (homemade pasta and other specialty pizzas)!

Great family owned and operated restaurant. The chicken parm sub is the best I've ever had!!! Tender chicken and the red sauce is awesome too. There is a smaller area to eat inside. Whenever I'm in Honeoye Falls I make it a point to stop at Montesano's!!!

Very good. Ordered lg white spinach. Plenty of cheese, spinach is topping rather than garnish, topped w/ parm. Thankfully, no chunks of minced garlic to chew and hopefully digest. Best of all, price! $18.50!! I easily pay double, especially on apps from other shops like Joe's Brooklyn (delish, but very expensive). Pie is cut in squares, in case u mind. Dough reminds me of focaccia. Only caveat here is NO delivery.

Montesano's was great... the pizza was surprisingly good the toppings were generous the sauce was very good the crust was crisp and thick... my only issue was it was slightly doughy we really enjoyed it and would go back if we ever found ourselves in the area... the only problem I had with the entire experience was they have a few tables to dine in... but no bathroom for the public?!? Other than the bathroom we really enjoyed it! And I would definitely recommend if in the area!

Placed an order and paid at 11am, then it was suddenly cancelled at 11:30am with no reason given

I had the meatball sub, it tasted a bit weird. Next day I'm throwing up, went to the doctors and I have food poisoning. I wouldn't recommend this place. I'm not really a picky eater, love local restaurants but not this place.

When I gave the guy at the counter the money and said keep the change, he refused the tip and was dismissive and rude about it.
