I love long john silvers. The newer waffle fries and cheese curds only make a great place better. Its super charming that the decor hasnt really ever changed and this place always hits the spot. I wish their were more stand alone in AZ I always have to eat this when traveling

I love the fish tacos. huge and tasty. come on Tuesday it's 2 for $4! if you eat inside use the packet hot sauce tho if you prefer deeper richer hotter sauce also the bottled on one has red 40.

Love this place, the tastiest chicken I will ever eat ever in my life here! I have been to this place as a kid, still brings back memories when we stopped by or when my family ate here before heading back home, were we live is ione, we don't have a nearby place like this. I hope this place stays in business. Please stop by and get some food

The fish here is always hot and fresh. Never fishy! Tasty, white and flaky! It is greasy but delicious! New wavy cut fries are wonderful.

Long John Silver’s is a great place. Especially this location they need to open up more of these across Sacramento. Order was completely Correct great service. They brought the food right to our table checked on us while we were eating to make sure everything was OK.

This is one of two Long John Silver's left in California that is a stand alone restaurant. There were once many of them in the Bay Area back then. I have so many memories eating here as a child with my family every few months. The food was super fresh and the staff was super friendly. Took a little bit to get my food. Some people would think that's a problem. Me, on the other hand.... That means fresh food that's made to order! Heck I wouldn't even care if it took 15 to 20 minutes! Food tasted fresh from the fried to the slaw... I'm definitely coming back when I visit the Sacramento area again!

I've missed LJS's. They closed them everywhere that I've been traveling and living at these last 10-15 years. I was very happy and surprised to see the one in Sacramento. Fish was great and the service was too. I'm coming back!

I recently visited Long John Silver's located on Stockton blvd. in South Sacramento, and I must say, it was a delightful experience. The highlight of my visit was undoubtedly the fry cod. The fish was perfectly cooked, crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. The portion size was generous and left me feeling satisfied. The location itself is convenient, with ample parking available. The restaurant's interior was clean. If you're craving some quality fish and chips, I highly recommend paying a visit to this location.

I don't go here often but seems like it was better in the past. Only one other customer inside (11:00am), so wait for food was not bad. The fish I ordered was hot when it arrived but the fries were not. Kind of soggy but not horrible. I miss the onion rings I used to get instead of fries. The worst part was every table I tried to sit at needed to be cleaned. Not a good thing these days.

Cashier was nice, wasn't busy but being the nearest restaurant to my home.It was still over five miles away. Got home to find out that there were no side dishes for my order.And the shrimp was not completely cooked.So we had to throw it away.

Food given at the drive thru was wrong and on top of that cold and old. Drive thru menu did not have lights on and very dark. Will not come back to this particular store.
