Great food. Staff were friendly. Everything we ordered was delicious.
This place is a classic in Sac. The food is incredibly good. I usually like to try a variety of things on the menu, but I stay away from vegetarian options, however, last time I went a friend got me a mushroom veggy burger and even that was really frickin tasty. Definitely a great spot for delicious food.
Absolutely loved it! My best friend and I are gluten free (one of us has celiac) and we came in for lunch. We were asked if we needed a gluten free menu before being seated, which was really nice! We ordered Alfredo pasta with bread and the soppressota and hot honey pizza. The food was amazing! If you are gluten free or celiac, this restaurant is a great choice.
The food was great and food price as well. Our server did a great job explaining the meal I wanted and my best friends got the desert and it was gone in 5 mins so im sure it was great. The atmosphere was good not to close not too busy just right. Parking was easy and I definitely recommend this plqc3. Ali is a great server.
Antonio man, this guy is a beast. A+ Service and attitude, and he went out of his way to recommend us food AND places to visit since we were visiting sac, which Antonio man ur advice was top notch brother. If you go here, Antonio is the man u want to b ur server, in fact we came back cuz of how friendly and unforgettable he made our experience not just dining there but at sac in general. If anyone from management is watching, Antonio deserves a raise, he also deserves the world. Love you brother In all seriousness, Antonio went above and beyond what we had to do for us, from the food advice to spending some time giving us some locations for us to go visit. It was for that amazing service, along with the delicious food, we decided to come back and even thought the place was packed to the brim, once Antonio saw us he made sure to ask us how we were doing as he was handling multiple dishes. Antonio is the perfect example of A+ service.
Excellent service and food! Not so many options that it's difficult to choose - their menus are simple and easy to order from. I ordered the Pork Fusilli, and it was incredible. Definitely recommend. The service was awesome too.
I was happy to find that this Italian place offered fresh, lighter options without compromising flavor. The staff gladly accommodated my requestfor gluten-free pasta, which tasted amazing with their pesto sauce. The service was friendly and supportive, and the airy, bright dining room with natural light made the experience feel refreshing.
Our waiter (wish I remembered his name) was very friendly, helpful, and attentive. Food was delicious! We had fried raviola, bruschetta, bocce balls, apple n gorgonzola pizza, and wedge salad. Amazing! Wait time for seating was nonexistent (it was early) and food came out pretty quickly. The place filled up and the staff was great throughout. Highly recommend!
In town for a Convention and found this place nearby. It was amazing! The pizza is delicious and I was able to customize my pizza just how I like it and the toppings were fresh and very enjoyable! My husband had Lemon Pistachio Linguini with Prawns and e really enjoyed it as well! The waiter was friendly and attentive. If ever back in Sacramento we will visit again! Definitely recommend!
Great food! Their pork fusilli is my go to. The pesto sauce it comes with is pretty spicy so beware if that’s not your thing. Their fried Ravioli appetizer is also really good. One thing I will say is their portions could be a bit larger, the entree itself didn’t leave me full but I have a huge appetite so for a smaller person it may be enough
Tried this place for some Italian food and loved it! We ordered the kids’ mac and cheese, a pizza, and their pistachio pasta—everything was delicious. The customer service stood out: super attentive, helpful with recommendations, and made us feel well taken care of. Only minor feedback is that the music sound system could use a bit of maintenance, but that didn’t take away from the great vibe and food. They can also possibly update their seating setting with some brew table/ chairs…anyway was not a big deal and Will definitely go again!
I saw on Instagram on @sacramento_life 's page that this place was voted the number 1 favorite Italian restaurant, so we definitely had to give it a try. Calamari is usually our go-to appetizer, usually never a disappointment, which it was not here. My main entree was the Pork Fusilli, which definitely had a kick to it, but the right amount to make it absolutely delicious. We had also shared a pizza where half/half was Sicilian & Greek. Both styles of pizza were far from a disappointment, and definitely worth coming back for. I did have a mocktail to go with my meal, that being a Blood Orange Punch, but unfortunately the lime juice overpowered all else. Other than the beverage of choice, definitely a wonderful meal to have enjoyed and well worth returning to.
I had lunch here recently with my mother, and the food was fantastic, as usual! The Fried Ravioli with spinach and cheese, served with spicy marinara, and the Polenta Fries with balsamic ketchup and gorgonzola sauce were especially memorable. The Pork Fusilli is also outstanding and unlike anything you’ll find at other Italian restaurants—it’s a must-try!! Just be aware that it’s a bit spicy due to habaneros in the sauce, which adds a nice kick if you enjoy some heat. If you’re sensitive to spice, though, this might not be the dish for you. I’m looking forward to coming back with friends! We were seated in a quieter section, away from the bar and TVs, and our server was excellent, regularly checking in to ensure everything was perfect. I regret that I don’t remember his name.
This place was a lunch gathering for a few of my fellow co-workers (two retired); went on a Thursday (11/10). Was seated quickly. Server was tentative, polite, and friendly; She took our orders quickly and came back enough to check in to see if we were doing good. Food was VERY good. We all ordered from the lunch menu. Reasonably priced (between ~$13-$18 with tax/tip) but portions were a tad smaller than I had hoped for. The Pesto Ravioli was very good, just a little bit over seasoned with salt. The tomato based soup was very very good. Buddies say the pizza and the BLT was yummy. Would totally return. It’s always been a reliable place to get a good bite to eat. Totally recommend!
Overall a good value for money! We got polenta fries - which was huge and really good. It is on the heavier side so order rest of your meals accordingly. The kids got kids pizza and pasta and they were happy with their food. We also ordered Sicilian pizza and it was a tad bit too salty. Staff were really nice and the best part is that they give play doh for the kids, and there’s ice cream bar and milk included as part of their $8 meal. Can’t beat it!
The food was great. Hot, clean and fresh Italian food. The garlic bread that comes with your pasta meal is the best part you didnt know you wanted. It was lunch time and it was kind of quiet which was nice, but also made you more aware of all noises going on in the restaurant. I would definitely recommend giving it a try.
4.5 stars. These guys were on target with their food. We called ahead to ask about reservations. They don't take any. It is first come first serve and it a pretty big restaurant, so there is place. We got seated immediately and our server was friendly and prompt. We started with a Mexican lager and a sangria. For our entrees, we ordered the Fettuccine Arrostiti and the Spaghetti Carbonara with a side of the tomato basil soup, and a tiramisu for dessert. They say their sangria is amazing and they are right. It is smooth, sweet and tangy and cold. It flows down very easily and is simple delicious. For this hot summer, it felt like the perfect drink to begin a meal. The entrees were both excellent but needed more seasoning and a "oomph". This could be because we love our flavors to be bold and maybe the restaurant makes the dishes a little on the bland side to serve all palates. After all, it is much easier to add some cheese or chili flakes than to remove them. The carbonara needed a lot more cheese than it had. Once we added more, it tasted delicious and husband says that it passed his test. He likes to order a carbonara at a new restaurant to see if they get their classics right. The arrostiti was delicious but needed some spicy component to compliment the lime cilantro cream sauce. I had to add a lot of chili flakes but once done, they brought out the flavors very well. The blackened chicken was great but we needed a few more pieces. The portion was quite big and I ended up with leftovers. Both plates came with delicious and buttery garlic bread, one of the best I've eaten. The tomato basil soup was excellent and definitely one of the best I've had. It is 100% a must try. The tiramisu was nice but again, was missing that "oomph" factor. I thought it needed more coffee to emphasize the bitter component and my husband thought that an additional sweet component was needed. It came with a custard on the side and he thought the custard and tiramisu together were very good. I still needed the coffee. Our check was $87 so it was a pricey-ish restaurant. The food was very close to 5 stars (as mentioned above) and is one of our better Italian experiences. A few more tweaks and it will be just perfect. We will be back to try the pizzas.
I dropped in today and had forgotten how good this place is. We had a gluten free pizza that was fantastic. We also made out with half priced appetizers. We ate this excellent food on the sidewalk side outdoor seating. The service is still wonderful. Great service. Great food. Good options for vegetarians and those avoiding gluten. Balanced salad, pasta, pizza offering. I had Tortellini Formagio, and it was great, with a great sauce and sun dried tomatoes. There are two big scenes and the place is a bit loud, but not uncomfortable. One wouldn't think that there is another in Davis. It feels like a locally owned place. Note that 100% of the wait staff (men and women) was in their 20's, fit and attractive.
I had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant. When I first arrived, there was no one present at the host stand. After waiting briefly without acknowledgment, I attempted to take a seat but was abruptly told to move because the host needed to see me first. I then returned to the host area and waited approximately five more minutes before anyone assisted me, during which time I was genuinely considering leaving. Unfortunately, the issues did not end there. I ordered a single sandwich and one drink, and the total bill came to $60. The prices displayed did not appear to match what was ultimately charged, and additional fees or taxes seemed to have been added to each item without clear explanation or disclosure on the menu. Overall, the combination of inattentive service upon arrival and a lack of transparency regarding pricing made the experience frustrating. I hope the restaurant improves both its customer service and clarity around menu pricing for future guests.
