Sushi Chic presents itself as a stylish option for Japanese cuisine in Saint-Tropez, and the kitchen delivers on freshness and presentation. The fish is clean and well-handled, each piece thoughtfully crafted, reflecting clear attention to quality. The atmosphere is pleasant, modern, and comfortable, making it a suitable spot for casual dining or a relaxed waterfront meal. However, there are notable drawbacks. Several dishes arrive in portions that feel smaller than expected, particularly given the premium pricing. This imbalance between quality and quantity makes the overall value questionable. More concerning, an item was added to our order without our request, which inflated the final bill — a misstep that undermines confidence in the service. In a town where Japanese restaurants can combine freshness, portion, and attentive service effectively, Sushi Chic shows promise but does not fully deliver. The food itself is enjoyable, yet the combination of small portions, high prices, and billing issues means it falls short of being a reliable go-to destination.

CHIC? Hier wordt gewoon binnen gerookt terwijl je op je sushi zit te wachten. De sushizaak is verbonden aan een cafe, wat het niet erg relaxt maakt, laat staan dat iedereen achter je tafel bier staat te zuipen en staat te roken. Wij hebben besloten om daar absoluut niet te blijven en hebben gevraagd om het eten in te laten pakken. 1 van de serveersters wees arrogant naar haar collega toen ik een vraag wilde stellen. Erg teleurstellende ervaring en de sushi is middelmatig, nooit meer voor ons.

The sushi was not very fresh, and when the bill arrived with prices different from what was listed on the board in front of the restaurant, was told “those prices are old” as if that was a legitimate reason to charge the higher price. Was too stunned to react. Service from the waiter at least was good.

We got sick, food was not fresh. I don’t recommend this place at all.
