We were visiting St Augustine and had our small dog with us. Got turned away by a place up the street that had outdoor seating then walked down to Pizzalley's and they welcomed us to the open-air courtyard dining area. Perfect theme and you immediately felt the history of St Augustine all around you. Great place to stop in while you are shopping and walking the historic waterfront. We had the blue Crab claws. Never had them before, everything was great and service impeccable.
It's a bit tricky finding the back dining area - trust the staff's instructions - but it's well worth it. Servers were fabulous, the menu was exceptional, and the happy hour deals were unbeatable. We will definitely return.
We loved it! They were so kind with my young daughter, and the food was phenomenal. Casey was so attentive and friendly! We will be back for sure. The Bloody Mary was out of this world!
Came here after touring the old jail and store and needed a beer and some AC in this Florida heat. So glad I was craving beer and pizza and found this place!! We shared the garage 10’ pizza. It was the perfect amount to share between my husband (who had 2 pieces) and me and my 11 year old who had 1 slice. Service was fairly quick.
Service, food and ambience are all top notch. My wife and kids had a wonderful tim. After a long day beaching it at Anastasia State Park this really hit the spot. Tiramisu was unbelievably good. Special shout out to our server Zach for his attention to detail. Great experience and will come back time and again.
My husband and I brought our two dogs here. We sat outside and ordered a bottle of wine and the Arancini and a pizza. Our server Grant was very kind and gave us recommendations of the city! We very much enjoyed our visit!
Just happened upon this place while site seeing. We ordered breadsticks and thankfully went with the waitresses suggestion of handmade Alfredo sauce-delicious! And a Garbage Can pizza for 5 to share for lunch. They forgot to bring out our breadsticks until we asked and they came out after the pizza(polite and quickly brought them out so I still gave them a 5) I would suggest trying anything with that Alfredo sauce! They have a menu at the back of the parking lot near the street we were walking down. Easy to make a decision to try it out, so glad we did.
A frequent favorite of ours! Eric is a great server. Very personable, friendly and helpful! He went above and beyond for us. Highly recommend any of their pizza. I had the grouper special during one of our visits and hands down one of the best meals ever. Compliments to the chef and management!
Our server was Ocean, and he was such a great and attentive server! He was quick and prompt even with getting all of our three dogs their own bowls. He checked in with us in a timely manner and was very patient ( considering there were 6 adults, 3kids and 3 dogs). The foods was great too! (I never eat the crust of a pizza and I inhaled it! Plus their delicious soup of the day!) highly. Recommend this spot!
We visit Pizzalley’s Chianti Room every time we come to St. Augustine with our kids, and it always hits the mark. Friendly service, great food, generous portions, and fair prices. Even during "Nights of Lights", we were seated quickly and served fast. A couple of weeks ago, there was some unexpected drama with a nearby family and a very upset baby. The parents did not try to calm the child, and the nonstop screaming was making this experience quite unpleasant. Staff and a manager eventually stepped in and asked the family to step outside. The mother came back shouting and filming, but the manager stayed calm and professional. Once they left, everyone was able to relax, and staff checked in on everyone around them. It was an unfortunate moment, but we were impressed with how the restaurant handled it. They stayed thoughtful and respectful throughout. The Chianti Room continues to be a welcoming, family friendly spot, and we look forward to our next visit.
Their lasagna is the best ever. The sauce is balanced with so much flavor yet none of the spices are overpowering. It is delightful! The breadstick are good and very simple which pairs well with their flavorful sauce. The side salad was a nice blend of greens and romaine. My husbands pizza was flavorful and the perfect amount of sauce and cheese.
In town for one evening and wanted to pick just the right spot to enjoy a pleasant dinner. After walking around and feeling out the local vibes, I was greeted by the hostess as I walked down George St. I had a sample being provided and proceeded to request a table. Ultimately I was lead to the Chianti Room and took a seat outside. Weather was perfect and the evening was unfolding nicely. I was seated promptly and greeted by our server. With minimal wait our drinks and starters were brought out. I started with a soup which was amazing but the real winners were our main course. Fresh and vibrant the meals were exceptional. A true highlight of the evening and would highly recommend for those wanting a beautiful evening with courteous and accommodating staff. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I loved this place so much! I even think back to my meal there and remember how amazing it was. Vegetarian friendly and really nice staff. Like all places in st Augustine, it's busy but they got us a table asap whereas other places had long waits.
I love this place. The company I work for takes all of us to dinner once nights of Lights is over. The food is amazing, staff is friendly, attentive and knows many of us by name. We always have a wonderful time.
Really loved it there! We were sat as soon as we walked in. And it was pretty busy. We were served by Ocean and he was very prompt and personable. The Bruschetta was DELICIOSO!!!! And the Pizza was perfect and Crispy and Cheesy.
GF pizza is so good! My husband got the ckn parm and loved it! The blueberry mocktail and strawberry mocktail were delicious. The clam chowder was perfect!
They had a ton of options, the pizzas were more on the pricey side but they do NOT skimp on the amount of toppings. Plenty of cheese, dough was made well, all the flavor profiles you’re looking for are incorporated. Gluten free crust is an option as well.
Oh YES! Found this place based on a recommendation from Tammy at the guide/ info booth and when I say I had to go back and personally thank Tammy, that's exactly what I did 😀. Ray helped us out and everything was topnotch. Lasagna and the Ribeye were ordered up and we were not disappointed one bit. For the cut of the ribeye, it was cooked a perfect medium, true to order, and the Lasagna was a chef's 👩🍳👨🍳 💋 😘. Such a satisfying dinner with no disappointments 😋.

Don’t underestimate The Chianti Room. We went in on Christmas Eve with pretty low expectations—Italian restaurants are everywhere, and this was one of the only places open. We figured it would be fine at best. We were wrong. Yes, there was about a one-hour wait, but once we sat down, it completely made sense. The staff was moving nonstop, working together seamlessly, and somehow still bringing great energy to a packed room. You could tell they actually cared, and that alone made the wait worth it. The food was just as solid. Everything tasted fresh and thoughtfully made. The Caprese with homemade pesto, the Caesar salad, and the shrimp scampi were all on point—full of flavor, not greasy, not overcooked, and perfectly al dente. Our waitress was an absolute sweetheart, and after talking with her we finally looked up the reviews and went, “Okay… now we get it.” The name fits—like a good glass of wine, this place has depth and leaves an impression. Big thank you to the entire team for turning what could’ve been a forgettable holiday dinner into a great experience.
Had lunch here today & sat out back on deck. I had the individual size Margherita pizza, which as more than I could eat & my husband had special of 2 pepperoni slices & soda. Both were delicious! Plenty of sauce & wonderful dough! Our server was excellent! Interesting layout duecto shape of bldg. I highly recommend eating here while visiting St. Augustine!

Excellent meal with my 8 year old daughter. She had the kids pizza and given she is very particular about her pizzas, Pizzalley’s passed the test. The right cheese, the right crust (though a little crunchy), the right amount of sauce. Also had the chicken fettuccine and it was a classic. Particularly like the grilled chicken (flavor and texture was really nice). Definitely a recommend.
Everything about our visit was good. Our waiter Ocean was attentive and efficient. The menu has many enticing entrees and pizza. We ordered the Margarita pizza which can be a hit or miss depending on how it's made. This one was just "ok". Not the worst nor the best. Flavor was wonderful, overall it was very dry due to the sauce being exposed rather than covered by cheese. I believe had we ordered a "regular" pizza we would have been quite delighted. Definitely will go back to try. FYI, Parking in front is $15.
We love this place. The pizza is very good with real cheese. The breadsicks are big and well seasoned. The Bloody Mary is the best though. They infuse their own vodka and you can tell. They have many options for food and a great selection of drinks.
No wait. 4 adults 2 children. Great service. Greta atmosphere. Food was quick. Ordered one 16" cheese pizza, well done. Shrimp scampi, lasagna and chicken fettuccine, and a manhattan...Food was standard Italian. Fettuccine was excellent, pasta tasted home made, lasagna was basic. Sausage soup as starter was excellent. Nothing to write home about. Goood time. Excellent time. Bill was $130
Food was good as expected as we had previously been here in the past. Unfortunately, they were extremely busy and had a 45 min wait before being sat. But that's OK, the truly downside of that was when it came time to order - the people I was with, had to change their order due to Many items in their intended original plate; being out of stock. After a change of plans in the intended meal, we were able to put our orders in and wait. The waiter was friendly but it took quite a few reminders to get him to follow thru with our requests. Simple things like another side of ranch for the salad and additions that were ordered for a few plates. Overall the staff was doing their best and the food was still good. I love that they ask if you need a box to go with your remaining food and they will pack it for you. I personally had leftover pizza to go and and they packed it very well so that the pizza will not stick to each other.
Most people seemed to enjoy the food, which came in gigantic proportions. I liked the long garlic bread rolls served with a dipping sauce and the lemonade. It was strange that we had to ask for plates to use on the chargers already at the tables in order to have a place for the bread. I wish I had ordered the house salad instead of the Caesar salad, since I prefer a creamy Caesar dressing and do not like anchovies in an oily dressing. I ordered the lasagna recommended by the server. It seemed to feature sausage for the meat instead of what I expected. I could easily have shared the portion with 1 or 2 other people. Not sure how it will travel home. The server was exceedingly pleasant and took very good care of the 11 of us at our table throughout our visit.

I came here with a large group (about 16) on Decemever 28 for dinner. The wait was expected since it is during the holiday season. I really wanted to like the pizza (sausage) but I find it lacking in flavor and texture. It reminded me of store bought pizza cooked in the microwave. However, the kids seemed to really like the cheese pizza.
The Italian wedding soup and the salad were enjoyable. Unfortunately, the minestrone soup was disappointing. As for the pizza, the crust appeared undercooked, and the tomato sauce had an overly strong flavor, resembling a PizzaHut sauce rather than the Italian-style Campari tomatoes I expected given the restaurant’s four-star rating and nearly 4,000 reviews. On a positive note, our server, Ocean, was very pleasant and provided good service. However, based on the overall food quality, I would not recommend this restaurant.
We ordered white pie pizza - and it was good. Caesar salad consisted only of salad, and little toast, no chicken / bacon, no egg, nothing else - that’s confusing. The steak was ok. The service was great though.
PIZZA DOESN’T TASTE AS GOOD AS IT LOOKS! 🍕💔 Went to St. Augustine for the first time and decided to get pizza for dinner. We ordered a pepperoni pie and although it looked amazing, we were quickly disappointed as the pizza did not taste good at all. We definitely had better $5 pizzas and will not come back. Maybe the other pizza restaurants nearby are better…
I saw the reviews saying this was the best gluten free ever. It is the standard 10 inch crust served everywhere. It was cooked crispy so that was a point in their favor, but the one I got had very little flavor, far from the best and nothing special. If you are considering the margherita pizza it is the type with very little cheese, so if you don't like that pick something else. It also didn't have tomatoes but that was probably me not reading the description right. The normal pizza was fine according to my family. The antipasto salad was massive.

The food is pretty good the service was also fairly good however not once did our server come to offer refills and for the price the portions where smaller then expected and did not come with even 1 bread stick. You can order a basket of 5 for for the table for an additional cost. I was unaware there is no parking for the establishment and costs an additional 15.00 to park in all it was 100.00 for 2 to dine at this establishment ordering the basic menu items.
We needed some comfort food and showed up without a reservation. We were seated immediately and had great service on the porch. 1/2 off wine Wednesday was a nice touch- Pizza has thick crust- not really our thing- Red sauce is oregano heavy but good. I enjoyed eggplant parm- if you’re a foodie and want good Italian, this or not your place- but if you want to relax with great service, this place does the trick!
We came here so excited about the food. The online menu is not available so we settled for chicken Parmesan. It was so over seasoned it was inedible. Paper thin chicken with as much Italian seasoning that I put in an entire pot of sauce. The Caesar salad was straight vinegar dressing. Terrible. We paid $40 before we were seated for 2 Old Fashioneds that were straight Bourbon. No artisanal components whatsoever. It straight sucked. The breadsticks and marinara for $14 were amazing. Thank god for bread.
The pizza had the consistency and flavor profile of frozen pizza from the grocery store. Crust was spectacularly unremarkable, as was the sauce, however the cheese and meats were pretty good. I got the Three Little Pigs and my wife got the Godfathers. Neither of us finished our pizzas as they just weren’t very good, and quite pricey at $19 and $18, respectively, for 10” individual pies. Our waitress was nice at least.
Only good thing we has was the bruschetta. Our white pizza lacked flavor and had far too much dry crust. The chicken alfredo was barely edible, the chicken was near impossible to chew and the sauce was not sauce and tasted like the heavy cream split or was warmed up. This is our 2nd time trying it, first time was good but this time was not. Probably will not be back.
You should know that they have several entrances and the servers in the little bar area were rude and acted like we should have known there was another part to the restaurant rather than kindly redirecting us. Everyone in the restaurant area was very hospitable. The pizza crust was very blah. The mozzarella sticks and Alfredo pasta was good.
Pizza crust hard as a rock. So disappointed this place used to be the bomb. 😢 it’s not the same as it used to be. Waiter said it was due to the weather. Well, I have a hard time believing that. Something changed. I will not be coming back. Just FYI waiter was amazing. Not his fault.
My Old Lady and I stopped here for some pizza based on the reviews, but tbh we feel like we got the short end of the stick. Service wise, our server was a sweet heart. She was great amd we were happy with her and her suggestions. It just took a bit for us to be served; thought we may have missed the happy hr. As for the pizza, we had a large White Pie. It was just... idk, bland. Like, not bad, but definitely not good either. For the price we paid for the large however, it should have had much more pizzazz. We got some ranch to add some flavor, but even then, it was still maybe a 5.5 out of a 10 from a taste perspective. My Old Lady had a Sangria for happy hour which she did like. So, the drink was good. Besides that, the atmosphere was family friendly. No complaints there. I was frustrated about the machine that calculates tip, however and that is the main reason for my rating. It's frankly not transparent at all. When you are given the machine to swipe your card to pay, it does NOT tell you how it calculates the tip. It just shows the usually 25%, I think 22%, and 20% and other. I just picked 20% and asked for a printed receipt. I did the math after the fact, and what annoys me so much is that the machine inflated the tip as it calculates the tip based on the original amount BEFORE any discounts and it INCLUDES the tax as well. I somewhat don't mind since the server was great, right? But, the machine doesn't break down how it calculates the math. If I had a not so good service, I would have been much more annoyed. So, if you're a stickler for the tip, keep in mind the machine calculates it as the original total amount plus tax. I took a pic of my receipt so you can see what I mean. Pay attention to the "A" and "B" indicators. Not sure if I'd come here again tbh. But, again, at least the staff was friendly.
We went here because the reviews were good. It was so bad I needed to leave an honest, real review. The shrimp scampi was horrible! The sauce was watery and the only flavor we could taste was lemon. Pizza was ok at best, especially being across from a great pizza place. The salad was fresh and bread was good. If you want real Italian and a good meal, skip this place. Lots of other good restaurants in St Augustine.
After having a spectacular dining experience the night before at another local restaurant, I came in with high expectations that this one would be on the same level. The menu sounded amazing, and I was genuinely excited for warm, delicious pasta. Unfortunately, that was not the experience we had. From the moment we were seated, our waitress seemed overwhelmed and not very welcoming. While our appetizers were decent served warm and flavorful our entrées arrived cold and were not enjoyable at all. Our second round of drinks arrived after dinner was already served, and when we asked about our alcoholic beverages, we were told the bar was backed up. To make matters worse, I used the women’s restroom and was extremely disappointed by the conditions. It was very dirty and had a strong, unpleasant odor to the point that I actually became sick. The restroom was in very undesirable condition, which only added to the overall negative experience. I understand it was New Year’s Eve and the restaurant was busy, but that is not an excuse for poor service, cold food, or unsanitary facilities. If a large turnout is expected, proper staffing and preparation are essential especially in a town with so many excellent dining options. Sadly, this experience was very disappointing, and we will not be returning.

BEWARE!! We ordered a cheese pizza and didn’t get checked on one time by our waitress the lady with gray hair (in a ponytail) behind the bar. She only took our order, brought the pizza, and brought the bill. There were two people at the bar when we arrived but left maybe 5min after we got there. We were her only table, no one at the bar, no one at the tables, she stood behind the bar 98% of the time. Extremely disappointed with the food and service. A very sweet lady with pink boots was handing out pizza samples outside and they were so good we decided to order it, however the pizza we got was not the same pizza she was handing outside as samples. Our waitress brought the check and I put with the cash with the receipt, she came and snatched it don’t say one word. This is the first time I haven’t tipped since I was a young teenager she got the 70 cents change that was left over from the bill. If our kids weren’t with us I definitely would’ve spoke how I felt and got my 70cents back because the service was that awful!! Our kids and I went outside and my husband spoke with the manager.
Arrived at 7pm on a Tuesday night. Server took our orders for beers and appetizers - table of 4. Ordered a Stella for myself and others ordered drinks. Server comes back 15 minutes later stating he does not have stella. Wait another 10 minutes for a beer. Appetizer arrives and Server takes order for main dish. Main dish arrives and it is great. 2 pizzas. What was not great? Server not checking us on at all after the first beers served. No water refills, no checking on us at all. My friends and I finished our meal. After waiting for 25 minutes for the check I go up to the front. I ask the Server for the check and two boxes and to speak to the manager for the excessive wait time. Manager was extremely rude and so was the Server. Please note, as I was speaking to the manager, I stated we were not checked upon after the food was served. Server states "I checked on your table multiple times for drinks and at the end of the service for food" absolutely not. We got a 10% discount after speaking to the manager. Managers name was Andrew and servers name was Elias. Terrible and absolutely rude service on a Tuesday night for my WIFES BIRTHDAY. Do not go here.
This restaurant is the worst place that could exist in St. Augustine, Florida. My experience was terrible. I went with my baby to eat and he started crying — we were exhausted and he wouldn’t calm down. The food wasn’t arriving, and a waiter came over to ask us to leave because my baby’s crying was bothering others. I told him no, and asked to speak with the manager. The manager came over being extremely rude and kicked us out of the place as if we were trash. I understand that a baby’s crying can be overwhelming, but in that case they should put up a sign saying that families with small children are not allowed. A situation of this magnitude is unacceptable. I hope people read this and take precautions before going there with their family. Zero stars for service, food — for everything. Places like this should be shut down
