Best hideout for classic cocktails in the area. The bartenders are on top of it and will make your drink promptly and with great skill. I appreciate the laid back vibe and wildcard music selections. Their house menu is worth checking out with some unique takes on some standards. Definitely a great alternative to some of the insanely crowded weekend go-tos.

Truly one of San Antonio's hidden Gems. Here's why: Freaking place still makes some of fhe best drinks. Vibes hasn't changed in 10 years and neither has the mood lighting which I love. Even the staff, while not the same, has maintained that same level of quality service which also kept me coming back when i lived in San Antonio. We had the You Got another Thing Comin, Nothin But A Good Time, and 2 Killed by Death. All were super Kudos to the owners and bar manager for keeping this spot as cool as ever through the years

Super friendly bartenders and delicious cocktails - what else could you ask for? This place has a relaxed vibe, and feels cozy and inviting. Come casual or come dressed up for pre or after dinner drinks on a date night. Loved the Old Fashioned I had. Also, loved the alien themed drinks. We eat across the street at Cappy's regularly and this will be our new spot for an after dinner nightcap.

Was dog hopping and google dog friendly spaces and this place popped up, so we stopped by, before we even got out drink orders in, dog treat was already given. Cool staff and the locals made it a plus, very immersive experience

This is a hidden gem. Service was quick considering it was pretty busy. This is a smaller and cozy bar which also has outside seating. Drinks are prepared well and the price was very affordable.

Joel, Rachel, and Carlos, the bartenders on duty during our visit, were not only skilled at their craft but also incredibly welcoming. Joel, in particular, added a touch of humor and jest to our evening, making our time at the bar even more enjoyable. What I appreciate most about Bar du Mon Ami is its authenticity. It's a local gem that prioritizes creating an intimate and inviting atmosphere for its patrons. Whether you're looking for a casual night out with friends or a romantic date spot, this bar has you covered. I can't recommend Bar du Mon Ami enough. I absolutely love this bar. Kaytea and Rachel are amazing bartenders and make THE BEST drinks!! It has a really cute intimate atmosphere with the dim lights and great set up. I love coming here to just chill out and enjoy a drink. I would totally recommend this place if you're looking for unique and delicious drinks. They dont serve food here but there is a restaurant next door

Great place to drop by for a drink. Reasonably priced and a solid list. Bartender was friendly. Bathrooms weren’t the best but it’s a dive bar so I didn’t expect much. It’s on the lower level kinda behind the bushes in the building.

Bar Mon Ami offers an excellent atmosphere with top-notch customer service. We frequent this place and please don’t believe the amount of 1-3 star reviews. You must try this place. Everything on their menu is fairly priced and if you can’t afford, don’t go to a higher class establishment, it’s that simple. It’s a wonderful experience where you don’t have to deal with bar trash and worry about people acting like idiots.The bartenders were exceptionally friendly, and the drinks were both well-crafted and reasonably priced. I’ll definitely be returning again and again! We had to update this when we read some lower reviews. This was the cleanest bar we’ve ever been to. They dust and clean frequently. There are little gems in the bathroom that make it so cozy and you can tell they take care of customers well. It’s the little things and that’s why they are still open.

Me and my wife absolutely love this bar! Very friendly bartenders and people. It's a great local bar if you live in the Alamo heights area. This has become our new hang out spot thanks to the good vibes and awesome people that work/come to this bar.

Cozy, relaxing vibe where you can also get work done if you need to. Multiple seating options from booths, couches, bar top and outdoor seating. To die for in the Spring! Close enough to downtown but with very reasonable prices. Best of both worlds! Lots of parking, water available for self service, gorgeous cocktails and experienced mixologists. Always an opportunity to try something new. Loved the Cinco de Mayo special addition to the menu!!! This is my #1 spot!

My wife and I came in on a Friday for our monthly date night (if you have kids you know how it is) I didn't get the name of the bartender, but they did a great job making our drinks. The last drink we ordered was an Aviation with a couple of our own tweaks, and they accommodated us without hesitation. Some of the patrons were a little loud and obnoxious, but that's not the bar's fault. Overall, we really enjoyed ourselves. We will be going back to test their mixing skills

This is a wonderful "neighborhood" bar. I only call it that because there are a lot of regulars, which is always a good sign. The rotating menu is always clevern delicious and fun. You can go for a shot and a beer or a personalized cocktail. Not to mention they also have a charity cocktail every month. 🖤

Ambience is the main reason for my wife and I trying this place and it did not let down. Very clean, very quaint, and quietly tucked away off Broadway. Drinks were strong but good, prices were a bit elevated but the entirety of the establishment makes up for it. Overall not a bad place to grab a drink with some friends.

Great idea, but shady service. The last time I was there, I paid for my party's drinks and then left before them. Then the bar tender charged the others in my party for the drinks a second time. I'm not surprised in retrospect. The so-called bar tender had a rotten attitude the whole time I interacted with her, which felt like seven hours even though it was probably about seven minutes. Definitely don't go here for charm. And watch your bill. I wouldn't put it past them that they try this stuff as much as they can.
