food was divine. with great prices and options. They opened the door to welcome and bid us good bye, they were so friendly and sweet. perfect burnch and study spot.10/10
A bulverde gem for sure :) service was amazing, the food was so good, the focaccia that comes with the omelette is so crunchy and savory, and to top it off, the host and barista’s were so very kind :) pastries are definitely worth trying, overall if you ever want brunch this place is worth trying
Laurel Cafe totally knocked it out of the park. We had the cinnamon roll, orange cranberry scone (OMG), that’s a wrap and the breakfast bowl. Everything was DELICIOUS! Love this place.
Laurel Cafe is an absolute gem! The food is absolutely delicious, fresh, and full of flavor. The ambience is warm, inviting, and makes you feel right at home. The staff is extremely friendly and attentive, which makes the whole experience even better. Truly the sweetest little cafe — a must-visit and an easy 5 stars from me!
Laura Cafe is one of the best in the area with fresh gourmet options! All of the breakfast items I have tried have been fantastic as well as the coffee and you can’t beat the top notch service.
The wife and I always come at least twice a week for breakfast. We finally got the opportunity to try their dinner menu tonight and they (yet again) did not disappoint. I’m basic and tried the chicken tacos….delicious. The wife got the Bacon Cheeseburger with a salad….which was also delicious! Thanks for the delicious food! Super great desserts and delicious treats too! Can’t forget their awesome coffee menu she loves to get!
Everything was WONDERFUL! The croissants are incredibly flakey and crisp and the outside. Butter soft on the inside. The salad they have is super fresh and I thought the dressing was the perfect amount and was this wonderful lime vinaigrette. I wish the matcha had a little more flavor but it was all still good 👍🏼
Came here for a Saturday brunch after passing by a few times after their opening. There's about 10 tables and most were empty, so was able to grab a table and look over the menu. Once you decide, you order at the counter and they'll bring your food out to you. They serve breakfast all day, but also have sandwiches, burgers, chicken sandwich, and salads. They also have a few pastries and bakery items at the counter. Ordered the Tejano Sandwich and the Avocado Salad with Chicken. Food came out in about 10 minutes and was prepared & plated nicely. Everything was carefully put together with all fresh ingredients. Both meals were great. Afterwards, ordered a few cookies, Chai Latte, and Cortado to hang out and enjoy the ambience. Nice relaxing place to have fresh, quality food in a relaxing atmosphere.
Exquisite experience. So classy yet, at the same time, so casual. The venue makes you think the food will cost a fortune, but it doesn't. AND it's great. Specialty coffees were really good as well.
For Saturday lunch, I was looking for a new place to try and found @laurelcafetx, which is not too far from where we live. One part of the window looks out to the golf course. We looked over the menu, ordered and paid at the counter. Hubby had the Egg Croissant and Cold Brew. Dad had the Kid’s Breakfast with a pancake and 2 scrambled eggs, and Lemonade. I had the Chicken Salad Sandwich and Four Corners Local Buzz Honey-Rye Golden Ale. It was a great new discovery for lunch and pretty good.
Cute place! Delicious sandwiches! Very friendly staff. If you're coming from the south Google maps tells you that you have to pass the location and make a u-turn which is not true. There is a left turning lane and you can turn straight into the parking lot. There were plenty of open parking spaces when I went on a Friday at 11:00 a.m. The tables inside seat between two to four people, but you could move them together for a larger group. Grab a menu on the left near the counter and then place your order at the counter when you are ready. Lots of drink options to purchase. Water and cups can be found on both sides of the restaurant. Restrooms on the left. The pastries looked delicious but I didn't try any this time. On the day I went they had cranberry orange scones, cinnamon rolls, banana chocolate chip muffins, an apple puff pastry, and a couple others. I shared the focaccia BLTA and the chicken salad sandwich. Both were substantial sandwiches. The chicken salad tasted light and fresh. The jalapeno mayo on the BLTA was just spicy enough and gave the sandwich a great flavor. Also loved that it was on Focaccia and the bacon was nice and crispy. Make sure to ask them to cut it in half for you. The sandwiches come with chips or a side salad. I'll definitely be back! Back for more! Delicious cinnamon roll. Ask them to heat it up for you. The outside is a little biscuit like but the inside is soft. Also had grilled cheese and homemade tomato soup which was a daily special.
Great service and flavorful breakfast. Chilaquiles Verdes were some of the best I’ve had. Wife opted for the pancake and eggs plate that was also good. Coffees drinks also superb. We’ll be back to try out other menu options and fresh baked goods.
Absolutely loved my experience at Laurel Cafe! The service was outstanding—friendly, attentive, and made us feel right at home. The menu offers a fantastic variety, with something for every taste, and everything we tried was full of flavor and beautifully presented. What really stood out was the quality of the food for the price—exceptional value! You’d expect to pay much more for food this good. Laurel Cafe is definitely a hidden gem and a place I’ll be coming back to. Highly recommended!
I’ve been to Laurel Cafe many times now and their breakfast is always AMAZING! But I ventured out and decided to do their lunch menu and what a very pleasant surprise! Their pastas are also delicious! The service is outstanding! What I loved the most that it’s a family business and everyone is just sooo nice! I highly recommend everyone to go and try their food! Also if you’re into sweets their pastry’s are a MUST! I took several boxes to my coworkers and they were gone so fast! Overall this cafe is a regular spot for my wife and I!
Beautiful restaurant with great atmosphere! I had the turkey croissant sandwich and it was delicious, can’t wait to go again. Loved how several of the workers/waiters were bilingual (English and Spanish speakers) so there was no confusion placing orders. Their guava pastries were amazing as well!!⭐️👍
Laurel Cafe goes ABOVE AND BEYOND with their service and food. The pastries are top quality, especially the almond croissants. Their specialty coffees are also delicious. You won’t regret giving this place a try.
Really cute, chic little place just around the corner. Food is priced right, and the coffees are top notch. The attention to detail from the layout/decor all the way to the plating and presentation of the food stands out. HIGHLY RECOMMEND the patty melt, it’s my favorite thing there!
Love this place. Food is great and service is beyond great. The lady out front was so kind as well as the guy behind the counter. I also noticed that they were both bilingual English/Spanish. I hope this place stays in business as it’s a great lunch spot as well as a nice atmosphere to get some work done. Pretty views of the golf course.
We had a great breakfast/brunch at Laurel Cafe. The breakfast bowl was outstanding. The sauce was delicious, and the bacon was some of the best I’ve ever had. The coffee was excellent, too. I’m sorry to see some of the negative experiences, but we decided to try it based on all the positive reviews, and it was perfect. My husband and I enjoyed it very much. I look forward to returning. All the food looked fantastic. We did not get pastries, but these looked like they’d be wonderful, too. 5 stars from us!
Indoor-outdoor seating. Friendly greeters. Order at counter, delivered to your table. Breakfast, brunch, lunch dishes. Fresh ingredients. Generous servings. Pastries at the counter. I highly recommend the orange blossom butter croissant, which are filled with a delicate cream tasting of orange. Cinnamon rolls and guava/cream cheese pastry also nice. Various beverages, which I did not taste. Plenty of parking and tables at 2pm on a Sunday.
If we could give 10 stars, we would! I am so happy we found Laurel Cafe! We've have breakfast, boxed pastries to go, and now dinner! Every single item has been wonderful, "perfect" even! Thank you for offering such delicious food with fresh ingredients! We will frequent often!
Another first time visit. Recommended by my son. When we arrived an employed heard us by opening the door for us! Offered their menu even asking if we'd eaten there before. Even thug the menu is at the counter she handed us each a menu and sat down to take our time and asking questions as she returned from time to time. Service was excellent. Food was great! I had their egg quesadilla and substituted turkey instead of ham. It was fantastic. I also substituted the salad and had their potatoes instead. I'm one that doesn't believe in a salad with an egg meal. I will definitely be back.
🤩Laurel Café is WOW! We had the Banana Matcha Late, Pumpkin Pie Late, Morning Sandwhich, Egg Crioussant, & an Almond Croissant. 🥐 I recommend literally each of these items. Normally Pumpkin Late’s are too sweet or too pumpkiny but not this one! Super well made and tasty. 🎃 I normally don’t like scrambled eggs but however Laurel Cafe does theirs in their sandwiches is DAMN GOOD! 🤤 The two brothers and rest of staff provided stellar service with a smile. 5-Stars! Well done Laurel Cafe
I visited today with a friend and we are so happy we chose the Laurel Cafe! Our salads were generous, fresh, and delicious. The almond croissant was tasty and flaky. From where I was seated, I could see other patrons' food being brought out and it all looked equally good! I think this is the best place to catch brunch in Stone Oak with a pretty atmosphere and friendly employees. We will go back!
If I could give this place more than five stars, I would! We were greeted right away by a friendly young woman who even opened the door for us. The food was great and the environment was very clean. We chose to sit outside, and one of the staff members went out of their way to clean a table for us and set out napkins with salt and pepper while we waited for our food. Such a wonderful place to grab breakfast or lunch!
The chilaquiles bowl was absolutely on point—great flavors at a solid price. I love the crunch of the chips, the tasty green salsa, and the queso fresco. It’s my go-to dish here. The place is small but chic, and the staff is always friendly and attentive.
I was immediately greeted at the door and presented the menu by the friendliest associate, the breakfast tasted fresh and homemade and the coffee was delicious! The service made it a 10/10 for me but the food and drinks were just as good! I will definitely be back.
Great breakfast place and service. Friendly and attentive. Pancakes are as fluffy as they come! Cortado was spot on! Give them a try!
I’ve been meaning to try the Laurel Cafe for some time. We had lunch from there today, and they did not disappoint. We had the BLTA on focaccia, the chicken pesto, peach tea and dragon fruit refreshers, and a lemon blueberry muffin for dessert. The service was good and timely. The cafe is adorable. Lunch was excellent. I can’t wait to try the rest of the menu.
So much flavor in the chilaquiles. The pancakes were delicious and not too sweet. We also tried strawberry and Texas peach refreshers and it balanced well with the meals. Will definitely come back to try their pasties and coffee
Very cozy and bright coffee shop. They offer unique seasonal specialty coffee options. Service is top notch! Great breakfast and pastries Well worth the stop. Only gripe is the prices are a little higher than equivalent products.

ALWAYS soooo DELICIOUS!! Everything i have ever gotten. Today, I got the breakfast quesadilla with bacon. Not sure why I had not tried it before but it may be my favorite breakfast item...it was incredibly delicious. BONUS! today they have cherry chocolate chip muffins....I took one to go.
We have been waiting for a good local neighborhood cafe to open up in our area of Stone Oak, and we finally have one! Today we visited Laurel Cafe for the first time and enjoyed a lovely brunch. From the moment we walked in the door, we were greeted warmly by the staff. You order at the front and they bring your food out to your table when it's ready. There is seating available inside or outside on the patio. It was warm out so we chose to sit inside. The place was clean with lovely decor and big windows that let in plenty of light and a view of the golf course. We ordered a variety of bakery items, coffee drinks and hot dishes and they were all delicious. The servers were very attentive and came by regularly to check on us. Our favorites were the enchiladas, chilaquiles bowl and cinnamon roll. We will definitely be back!
Extremely quaint little brunch restaurant! I got the Morning Sandwich, which was extremely delicious! My girlfriend got some pancakes and eggs and they were also good. They also have a very attractive selection of baked goods to choose from, all of which look quite tasty. Be aware though: they only have canned sodas and no fountain. That's not a bad thing but it's just good to know.
Came here for lunch on a Sunday. This is definitely a gem! Staff was friendly and attentive. We were greeted at the door and they saw us out. The food, pastries, and drinks were all fresh and well made. The atmosphere inside was bright and welcoming. We didn't sit outside, however outdoor seating is well shaded and has nice views. We will be returning ♥️☺️

Really cute little place. First time there. Not super appealing on the outside but the inside was charming with plants {not sure if they were real} and lots of natural light. A display by the register filled with yummy-looking bakery items. Excellent customer service! Very friendly, courteous staff. The reason for 3 stars for the food is I wasn't impressed with my breakfast bowl. Not a whole lot of flavor, the bacon was floppy and not crispy. It was all just kind of bland. That could just be me. There were a lot of customers so they're obviously doing something right! I would probably go again and just try something different from the menu.
Decent food. Nice little cafe to visit if your in the area with a variety if quick bites. Music was modern. Cashier seemed to have attitude while ordering but just kept it polite and paid for meal. Went on a day they closed at 3 and closed the kitchen at 2. We got there at 1:37 with plenty of time to order. If you want food make sure you get there before 2 during the week.
This is a delightful little café! I visited with one other person and we ordered the breakfast bowl, the wrap it up, honey lavender lemonade, and an iced white mocha latte. The service was so friendly. The wrap was delicious! I didn't love the salsa verde but everything else in the breakfast bowl was amazing. There wasn't any lavender flavor in the lemonade and the white mocha was just okay. I will definitely visit again to try something else on the menu the next time I'm in town. There were some other delicious-sounding options.
I was house-sitting/babysitting in the area when my daughter chose this place because it was the closest to us, and we had hungry kids. I loved the charming small-town café aesthetic and décor. The staff was friendly and efficient; someone even opened the door for us as we walked up to the restaurant. At this café, you order at the counter, and they deliver the food to your table. Menus are available while waiting in line, and there’s a large menu displayed above the register. They offer delicious pastries; we tried the lemon blueberry muffin, sausage kolache, and croissant. If I lived closer, I would stop by just for the pastries alone. I ordered the yogurt bowl, which featured fresh fruit and silky smooth yogurt sweetened with just the right amount of honey. I wish the portion size had been a little larger, but since I also had the muffin, I was quite full. My daughter ordered the enchilada plate, and she found it disappointing—the cheese was chewy, and the green sauce was watery and unappetizing. The kids I was babysitting each had the Kids' breakfast, which came with eggs, a pancake, and some fruit. The portion size was perfect, and they finished every bite. They also expressed a desire to return. I would rate the coffee a 4 out of 10, but take that with a grain of salt since I’m quite particular about my coffee. If I find myself in the area again, I will definitely go back.
The cafe is a bit small but overall has a nice atmosphere. The bakery selection they had was nice and I would recommend trying a muffin. The coffee was also good and pairs well with the bread. The chicken pesto sandwich was very delicious and I would recommend it. The chilaquiles on the other hand was not the greatest. The chips are very bready for some reason. They kinda just fell apart. The sauce and everything else was good. Overall it's a nice cafe that I would recommend.

This is a charming spot for breakfast and brunch. The café offers a nice atmosphere, complete with indoor seating and a patio that overlooks a golf course. The menu includes breakfast croissants, sandwiches, and pastries. Personally, my meal was far below expectations. I ordered the Chilaquiles with red sauce and was very disappointed; the tortilla chips were literally from a bag of corn chips bought at a grocery store - not even actual tortillas cut into pieces; the refried beans were out of can and simply reheated; the sauce didn't seem to be freshly made and it had a certain taste that only comes from pre-packaged ingredients. Overall, the dish was not good at all. On the bright side, the almond croissant is tasty with great flavor and freshness. But they sold out of Matcha, so I was a bit upset that I couldn't enjoy a drink with my almond croissant. Service is decent, with staff members being friendly, but lack motivation. But maybe I visited when they were having a bad morning. The café operates on a counter-service model, where customers place orders at the counter, and the food is brought to their tables. This setup contributes to a relaxed and unpretentious dining experience. Laurel Café offers a pleasant ambiance. while not extraordinary, it provides satisfying options for a casual meal. It's a good spot for a easy and quick meal, however, set your expectations to low.

I’ve wanted to try this place out for a while and finally did. I went up to the register and asked for drinks from their seasonal menu that they just posted to their Instagram yesterday and the cashier said they no longer offer that. Really? After just one day? But then she said they could make it after consulting with a different employee. When it was time to pay, I went to put in my phone number at the end for the rewards, and the cashier said that next time to put my phone number at the beginning. Next time? Umm there probably will not be a next time. I don’t know if she was having a bad day or what but she was not very friendly. Food was decent but small portions and the drinks taste like something I could make at home. Anyway, I really wanted this to be a nice outing with my small family and I found myself just wanting to get out of there. It was sad because this really put a damper on my day.
