This place is so good. Quick service with friendly and helpful employees, laid back casual atmosphere, and absolutely incredible sandwiches. Some of my faves are the Ceza, the Reuben and the Goliath, but today I went with the Webmy Stack. Honestly, this sandwich was still on my mind all day after I ate it. Definitely falls easily into the weekly rotation of places to eat. Good prices too.
Visited the Fredericksburg area (there's two locations) The deli is small but with comfortable setting, you could bring a small group of folks and enjoy the ambience of music and watch the TV. The sandwiches are big, thick and filling, I got a Italian hero and was very surprised by how much meat they put into the sandwich. The price is decent for the size of the sandwiches. The service is fun they make you feel at home and chill folks run the shop. Parking can be tough but if you can find a spot it's a walk across to the location I would go again here for a filling lunch.
Okay, banging sandwiches. I got an Italian sangwini, eat half and took the other to the skatepark. The tuna melt had my partner shaking. It was so good.
It’s absolutely worth it to go here if I had options to give more stars they deserve it I hope to see this place thrive!!! And absolutely phenomenally wicked place outstanding energy!! Go get you a samich!!!!!🙏🏾
The boyfriend and I came to this place on a whim since we were out and about. This place exceeded our expectations! I never review places but this sandwich shop changed my mind on that. We saved money by ordering the $15 sandwich and split it between the two of us and it still satisfied our hunger! So it's quite the money saver as well without sacrificing quality. We'll definitely be regulars from now on.
Popped in here before getting on the road to head back home from a weekend in San Antonio - it was one of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had. Everything was super fresh, and the ladies working were super nice! Will definitely be back on my next trip to SA.
Well it's been since the summer since I 1st went here, my work schedule was the reason. It is 2 days before X-Mas and a food for lunch was in order, I though mexican food, nope. Fried chicken sanwich, nope. Hum, maybe a sub sandwich from Jersey M(?) just to get me by, nope. I am gonna drive 5 miles for the Beast ((pretty much the most loaded sub sandwich I have ever had) 1/2 pounf of meat, fresh bread and different fixings added on. Well, it did not disappoint, I wanted to eat only half, but it wss so good i finished it off. Give this place a try, preey sure you will be mad I recommended this local shop. It' s just sib sandwiches some chips and limited types og drink choices. The pics should say it all. (P.S. park across the street in tha vacant lot if none available in front of shop)
I recently visited The Wicked Wich with my two best friends, and I have to say, this place absolutely blew us away! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with such warmth and friendliness. The staff were super welcoming and even let me customize my own sandwich with hot honey (which was absolutely to die for). The sandwiches here are hands-down the best I’ve had in San Antonio. Everything was super fresh & flavorful. Plus, their Instagram is fantastic they keep it updated with stories about their specials, and it made us even more excited to try them out. If you’re in San Antonio and craving an amazing sandwich, def go here 🪄
Amazing service, 90s rock vibes all around and even better food! Stopped in for lunch with Wifey and devoured everything. The cheese and broccoli soup was fresh, hot, cheesy, and creamy. We shared the chicken bacon sandwich and the cezar that were both made to order and both gone before we left! We will be returning :) Thank yall!
The food was seriously delicious, way better than I expected. The spot itself is small and chill; perfect for grabbing a quick bite without any hassle. The staff was really attentive and made the visit even better. Overall, great vibes and even better sandwiches. Definitely worth a visit!
So good! Hands down the best sandwich I've ever had. My husband and I pass by it everyday and decided to give it a shot. We were not disappointed. I had the Rodeo Clown it was delicious! Bread was warm and soft the peppers were perfectly spicy, high quality meat and cheese with fresh arugula. 🤌🏽 We will be coming back for sure!
The food is great I am a picky eater. I created my own masterpiece. Turkey Bacon on multgrain bread toasted. My husband got the Wemby. I got a taste and amazing. The service was great the owner great us right when we walked in the door with a smile and hi. Helped answered my question to help with my decision. The music was prefect level to hear but still talk. The painting on the wall I loved it.
First time here. It's a cute small shop. There are 4 tables with 4 seats at each and a row of 6 stools at the long table. The young man who took our order and made our sandwich is friendly and attentive. He recommended the Mighty Morphine for us to try. Ordered: Mighty Morphine and Goliath with 2 chips and sodas. My husband said the Mighty Morphine was okay but didn't know it was going to be almost like an Italian sub. He doesn't care for salami or vinegerette type of sauces. That was our fault for not checking to see what was in the sandwich. He said it was salty and had a strong vinegar flavor. ($15.00) Goliath was amazing to me. The bread was toasted perfectly and all the meats tasted fresh and delicious. I have to admit that the star of the sandwich were the pickles and the house Russian dressing! Very delightful. ($15.00) Two bags of chips and sodas: $6.00 Definitely will go back and try other sandwiches. $39.01 before tip
I've been seeing The Wicked Wich on Tiktok. I sent it to my wife and she said take me. We drove over an hour away to the restaurant. They didn't disappoint. My wife got the Tom Tom and I got the Wemby Stack. Them things were fire. She are half of hers and I finished all of mine. We even ordered another sandwich to go(which we never do). It was a great stop on our day date. Customer service was great as well. They were helpful. I also watched them interacting with the other costumers. They were talking like they knows each other for a while. Always great to see when other restaurants staff and customer service has gone down drastically. It looks like they have a temporary special menu from time to time. The day we went they had a BBQ themed one in top of what they serve. The BBQ sandwich I wanted to try was sold-out. Anytime my wife and I are alone in San Antonio, The Wicked Wich will be our go to spot. I think if they had homemade sweet and lemonade this place would be fantastic. Nonetheless this is it new favorite sandwich spot to eat at.
We saw this place on Instagram and decided to try it. Staff were welcoming and there are plenty choices. We shared the Turkey Tom and a bag of chips and it was enough food for us as we're cutting back after the holidays! Their normal sandwiches are ample in size, but they do have larger sandwich options for bigger appetites too. The seating area was was clean and the sandwich was very tasty. We will return!
We tried this place for the first time today and glad we did. My son and i LOVE a good deli/sub. We prefer the mom and pop places rather than the chain places so we had high hopes. Fortunately we were not disappointed. I got a turkey and bacon while my son got the turkey. Both of us loved them and the prices were about average. Decorations were a little odd inside but as long as they make a good sammich, who cares. They made a dang good sammich! Highly recommended!
Such a tasty Sandwich made by the owner herself. This is a real cute sandwich shop that has its own character. It’s a small place but very clean. Also the pricing is affordable for a sandwich. You see them make everything fresh right in front of you. I got the sprout which is a veggie sandwich and it was amazing. You also can eat this sandwich and not feel over stuffed. You feel just right. Please stop in and support small business. The owner was kind and staff knowledgeable on their sandwiches. I recommend checking this place out and giving it a try. You won’t be disappointed.
Cool spot, sandwich was good and it’s amazing how much of a difference finely shredded lettuce (shrettuce) makes in taste/texture. My sando was stuffed! I gave 4 stars being that their bread is not house made, and for the price I think it definitely should be. But man, once they get their own bread or partner with a local bread shop it will SET IT OFF! Definitely going back.
Sandwich was good! Portion was smaller than what I would've liked for the price. There are no kids options. The order taker was kind of standoffish. Not warm and welcoming as I'd expect from a hospitality-based business. I'd probably come here again if I was in the area, but wouldn't go out of my way for it. A decent neighborhood shop, especially when local sandwich shops are so hard to come by
Food was okay. Not a big deal as I thought it would be. I was expecting lots of flavors or at least a very unique taste from other reviews but was a bit disappointed. First, the bread isn't long and they don't put a lot of meat in but veggies. Secondly, in my opinion, the sandwich and a soda is over priced and not worth the price. Service was fast and easy. Not too many customers when I walked in. The place is t that big and only has 2 or 3 small tables to seat and eat. There a high chairs by the front windows that you can sit down, if no tables are empty. Overall, I would rather go to subway because you get a bigger bread and meet for the price.
