We have always enjoyed eating at Black Angus. My husband and I had lunch there this week. The food was excellent!! George, our server, was amazing! He took care of every detail of our lunch date. Thanks George. We will be back. 😊
Had a great Thanksgiving meal with pumpkin pie for dessert. Service was nice and food was just fantastic. A holiday meal just like mom would make with lots of turkey and stuffing. Yams and cranberry sauce. So much food that we all took home what we couldn't finish. Just as yummy the 2nd day.
I have been to many restaurants but have never had a better server than Rafael ! He was so personable, friendly, and welcoming. He met us with a warm smile and never rushed us. When he brought the food he so elegantly placed it down and said I hope you enjoy your food. Next time you are Black Angus in San Bernardino, please ask to sit in Rafael’s section. You will be glad that you did.
We went for a celebration dinner and had a wonderful time. Our server Janine was excellent. We had 12 people in our group and she handled our group well with the varying orders. We will definitely be back. Our food was delicious and cooked well.
Our first time ever, not cooking Thanksgiving dinner. We are celebrating on Saturday with family, so this was a great alternative to cooking for 3. The place was packed, I guess we weren't the only ones not cooking. Make reservations if you ate going here for Thanksgiving dinner. Turkey was moist and delicious, mashed potatoes, gravy, and stuffing were also very good. The broccoli was under cooked, but who eats that anyway. Lol Took a while to get seated, but once at our table the service was great and food came fast. Yum!
Wow. Even though things were a little rough at the beginning of our reservation and things were not so clearly told to us at the end everything was great Joe was such a patient and amazing server he made sure we got what we wanted and did it with a smile. Just left black angus, my husband and I went for our usual anniversary dinner and this was by far the best service we've had in a while. Our server was Rafael and he was amazing! Perfect customer service, was on top of everything, refills, keeping us updated on our food and dessert, clearing our table. Completely respectful the whole time, I wish we had even more to give him for a tip because he deserves it and a raise. Thank you Rafael for a memorable evening
I had lunch with the boss and three retired former coworkers today. I ordered the Classic French Dip. It was delicious. I would definitely order that again. I didn't catch our server's name, but he was very polite and quite attentive. The other gentleman who brought out some of our food was rather polite as well. Overall, it was a pleasant dining experience.
The service was warm and welcoming, and the food was both delicious and beautifully presented. I ordered the 12oz ribeye and twin lobster tail combo, along with a pineapple passion fruit mocktail. The drink was visually appealing and had a great taste. My steak was cooked perfectly to medium well, just as I requested, and the lobster tails were impressively large and incredibly fresh.

I went to Black angus tonight primary because of proximity to my hotel and nostalgia. I got the 6oz filet with salad and a baked potato. It came with bread and honey butter. I also got an old fashioned cocktail. The steak was cooked perfectly as I requested. the potato came only with butter as chives as any other topping cost extra. Over all the meal tasted good but was not worth the cost 60$ after tip. I arrived at 7:30 and the restaurant was not crowded- Jessica provided great service.
I went for my birthday and I had an idea of what I wanted and I ask the waiter for a suggestion on my last choice and he recommended the beef soup it was the worst thing I got to the point I took a bite and so did my girlfriend and it was not enjoyable I didn't even eat the rest but other than that everything was good.
This was a pretty decent Steakhouse. There was plenty of room for serving a lot of people. The Filet just a little tough, but had great flavor. The Mashed Potatoes were not hot, but the added bonus was that there were no Skins. The Salad was excellent and the Ranch Dressing was very good. Great Bread as well. It was my first time bringing my mom here, and we ordered the Campfire Feast for two. We absolutely loved the black molasses bread — we ended up having three of them! We used an InKind gift card purchased from Costco at a discount (about 35% off), so it was a great deal. The New York strip steak was delicious and well-seasoned without being too salty. However, my mom ordered the salmon, and the inside was not cooked enough. After asking them to reheat it, it came back overcooked — too hard and too dry. Unfortunately, we would not recommend the salmon.
Server was great and attentive. Food...thinnest Porterhouse I ever saw, order it medium, it was well. I dont think it's possible to have a medium steak with how thin it was. Appetizers, frozen, heated up. Drink was good. Wouldn't come back unless its a work meet up. Then I'd just stick to the steak salad.
Twice now, at this location, as a member, I've been informed the discount I received online was applied. Was with a few people so didn't check, my bad, until I got home. Both times never got the discount, last one was Thu 1/22 had a $10 babucks... imagine when I got the email next day saying "your $10 expires today" should have been used the day before!!
Went on Thanksgiving to get their turkey dinner. Had a reservation for 6pm. Place was packed. Didn't have anyone to celebrate with but still wanted turkey. Was waiting to be seated when a manager made an announcement that they were out of turkey. That's the whole reason why I was there! How are you going to run out of turkey on Thanksgiving? I was very upset. Lady next to me said the same thing happened last year. When I was seated they offered prime rib as a replacement. Which normally would be fine but on Thanksgiving i want turkey. Not cool. The table was sticky and greasy. The bussers didn't clean them properly. The waitresses was hard to find whenever i needed her. And it was so warm inside I felt all clammy just sitting at the table. By the time i left i was all sticky. Other than that the food was good. Steak was on point. And the rest of the Thanksgiving meal was as well.
Love B.A. for dinner so decided to try brunch today & unfortunately it was disappointing. I ordered the chilaquiles & the plate came out hot, but the tortilla chips & eggs were just warm, & the tortillas were soggy. It just kind of made it unappetizing. I don't usually write scathing reviews, but this is well deserved. Came here for my birthday tonight and we had terrible service. Our server was nice, but not attentive at all. We had to ask for drink refills and he did not come to our table as frequently as he should have. 2 of our steaks were over cooked and had to be sent back. It took way too long to bring the replacements - our companions finished eating before our food came back. Our to go order was wrong had had to be sent back as well. Overall, poor experience and I have no desire to come back to this location. My advice is to go somewhere else and avoid this restaurant.
Very much sub par for a fairly expensive meal. The place was pretty empty, but it took almost 30 minutes to get seated. It took almost 20 minutes for our waitress to come to us, 20 minutes to get our appetizer, and on and on. We were there almost two hours. Our waitress was very sweet, it seems that she was constantly waiting on the bar and the kitchen, which could not have been swamped... When we got our steaks (filet and sirloin), they were fatty and overcooked (should have been medium but we're definitely medium well or more). The baked potatoes were cold (butter would not melt...) and the green beans were overcooked and limp. The dessert menu was not accurate so the mud pie was not available because their vendor didn't supply it, hmmmm. The creme brulee was flavorless. I rarely give this negative of a review, but this place deserves it.

This is the second visit in a row where it was extremely slow service, and over cooked steaks… however this one took the cake …. We were there for THREE HOURS tonight. Mind you, we showed up at 4 pm, not even peak meal times…. It took over 20 minutes for drinks and same for each time we asked for refills, and even longer for cocktails. Granted we did have a fairly large party (8 adults 1 child and 1 baby). Our waitress was training and super sweet, but tell me why it took 9 minutes to run my credit card, and don’t even get me started on the service fee…. The new potstickers were the hit of the meal, but everything else was subpar…. Including one under cooked steak, 1 severely over cooked steak and such slow service that I swear they only have one cook in the kitchen. For the amount you charge for these steaks I did not expect the porterhouse to be paper thin and the other food to be bland. We won’t be returning.
Valentine’s Day disaster at Black Angus Steakhouse. Reservation: 9:15 PM Checked in: 9:30 PM Seated: 9:40 PM And then… absolutely nothing. For 31 straight minutes, not a single employee acknowledged we even existed. No “welcome.” No water. No “I’ll be right with you.” Nothing. Just staff walking past us over and over like we were invisible. Meanwhile, a table that came 5–10 minutes after us was greeted, had their drink orders taken, and was already placing food-bread orders and even refilling their bread while we were still sitting there like ghosts. Finally, at 10:11 PM, someone shows up. No apology. No explanation. No accountability. Just: “What do you want to drink?” As if we hadn’t been sitting there for over half an hour on one of the busiest, most special nights of the year. We walked out. I have eaten at fast food places with better customer awareness and basic human decency than this. If this is how you treat customers on Valentine’s Day, I can’t imagine how bad it is on a normal night. Easily one of the worst dine-in experiences of my life.
Horrible experience. My family and I came here to celebrate my little brother’s 10th birthday, and it was a huge disappointment from start to finish. We waited over 15 minutes for everything we ordered. I understand delays if a place is busy, but our server did not have many tables. On top of the long wait, our food also came out wrong. Earlier in our visit, our server had already sung to a different table, so when we asked if it would be possible for the staff to sing for my brother’s birthday, it didn’t seem like it would be an issue and she agreed. However, when the time came, she ignored our request. She brought out our to-go desserts and the check first, and we had to remind her about the birthday. When she finally returned, she simply placed the cookie on the table and briefly said “happy birthday.” No singing, no effort it was awkward and uncomfortable. To make matters worse, the busser was far more attentive than our server, constantly refilling drinks and checking on us, while our server barely did. Our bill was over $200, and she still received a tip only because my parents chose to leave one. I personally would not have. Our server’s name was Andrea.
Ordered carryout. Paid for porterhouse. Went inside after getting notification that order was ready for pickup. No one was at the front to greet me. Had to wait 5 minutes before the receptionist, after seeing me from across the room, walks in slow motion with zero urgency to the front. After about another minute of watching her walk to me, I was then told they ran out of porterhouse and had to substitute with a 18oz prime rib. So why wasn’t I notified of this sooner? Perplexed, I said ok and ended up waiting another 20 minutes while they prepare the substitution. The manager came and handed me the bag which at that point I looked inside and the steak did not look at all like a prime rib. I asked her if it was and she said yes. Deadass was not but at that point I was so tired from waiting/the incompetence and of course there was no au jus. So I asked her politely if she could grab me some since “prime rib” should come with au jus. She walks slowly as possible to the back as if to spite me even more. I’ve attached a picture of the so called prime rib which is really either a strip or sirloin. Not even close to 18oz. Tasteless food, incompetent service. The bad thing about ordering online is you tip them before you can see how good or bad their service is so they have zero incentive to do better. So basically you’re tipping them in hopes they don’t spit in your food. AI cannot come soon enough to do these jobs. Terrible terrible experience. They do not respect your time or value you as a customer. Not that they even realize that they are doing this perhaps due to lack of EQ. Instead of really looking within themselves, the workers here probably think they are being nice and “providing excellent service” just because they are smiling at you while being completely slow, inconsiderate, unaware and incompetent. I paid almost $50 for this experience, not to mention almost an hour I’ll never get back. And of course the time I’m now spending to write this review. Never again.
The food in general is just not good here and the service is unfortunately very slow. I think the worst part was the chilaquiles. I ordered the chilaquiles with over medium eggs on top. When my food came, the flavor was great but the eggs were over hard and I can see that there was quite a bit of salt caked on to the side of my plate and the chilaquiles themselves were very salty. I politely requested a new batch and shortly after they brought out the same chilaquiles and new eggs. I can tell this was the same batch because they were cold and the salt was still caked onto the same side of the plate. 😂 Please keep in mind that there was hardly anyone inside the restaurant and I couldn't believe they had the nerve to just bring back the same plate. We ended up leaving early. Best to take your business elsewhere.
