We celebrated my husband's 50th for 30 in their private room and everything was great! The manager, Oscar, was helpful and accommodating with our requests and questions. Our servers, Andrea and Joe, were attentive and speedy to serve. The entire staff went above and beyond to accommodate our large group. The beautiful decor of the restaurant coupled with the hospitality provided at Black Angus on hospitality made our event a memorable celebration. Highly recommended!

I can’t say enough about the new remodel at the San Bernardino location. Every aspect was on point and is an impressive new look. The restaurant is clean and modern looking yet still has the ambience that Black Angus is known for. The food was excellent and I really enjoyed the Grilled Salmon Teriyaki Power Bowl outfitted with a couple crispy fried zucchini was a nice touch. Phil was attentive during a busy lunch hour. Always a great value with a coupon. I am looking forward to Black Angus bringing this new fresh remodel hopefully to the Phoenix area soon.

I really enjoyed this place. It seems to be remodeled and now it is updated and quite nice. Very nice waiter and we had a coupon for $19.99. It came with a small steak and and choice of two more meat items. I choose ribs and shrimp. And two sides. I chose a baked potatoe and broccoli. The place is quite large with a nice lounge and bar. And I am not quite sure but it even seems to offer a private party area that is enclosed.

The food was delicious! We ate in the bar, which is very spacious. The Happy Hour food menu is very limited, which was a surprise. The fried zucchini was a great deal for $4. Pork chop was really good. Melted in my mouth. It was a great night out.

The Black Angus Steakhouse is absolutely a wonderful place to eat! The service was excellent, food was delicious, and the atmosphere of the restaurant is very relaxing. The starter bread they brought out was absolutely delicious. I decided to go with the half-rack of ribs with Mac n Cheese and Homestyle Mashed Potatoes. Let me tell you..the food was delicious! Ribs were fall off the bone tender, Mac n Cheese was different but good, the Mashed Potatoes were simple but delicious, almost reminded of my mom’s cooking back home in Georgia. If you are in the San Bern, CA area, this is one place you’ve got to check out!

Happy hour here is great. But if you're looking for a tender steak, don't get the sirloin here, try something else.. The service was very nice but they got very busy at lunchtime. It is one of the few restaurants in the area where you can go and sit and talk and hear each other in a pleasant environment. I had the stake salad. Our first time ever, not cooking Thanksgiving dinner. We are celebrating on Saturday with family, so this was a great alternative to cooking for 3. The place was packed, I guess we weren't the only ones not cooking. Make reservations if you ate going here for Thanksgiving dinner. Turkey was moist and delicious, mashed potatoes, gravy, and stuffing were also very good. The broccoli was under cooked, but who eats that anyway. Lol Took a while to get seated, but once at our table the service was great and food came fast. Yum!

Doesn't look like much but it tastes better then it looks, it was actually really really good, so good I re ordered it a couple weeks later. It was ordered for delivery. My only complaint is I wish it were bigger portions, specially for the prices they are charging. The prices were pretty high for the small portions they give. It filled me up & I ate the whole thing which I don't normally do, I usually have about half my meal left over, I'm a 120 lb female who doesn't eat very large portions, if you have a big appetite this may not be enough for you, at least with the salmon dish. The prime rib was also very good. Unfortunately the bread was tough tho. What a shame cause I love their bread. I'd love to order this every other week, unfortunately I can't afford their prices to do so anymore.

WOW! Me and my family came here as a party of 10 including 2 children to celebrate my 30th birthday and man were we collectively as a group blown away by the customer service of this team! From when we walked in and we're greeted by the hostess all the way through to our server who treated us like family and her team of staff members that helped her bring out food and clear dirty plates. I received a complimentary dessert and appitzer for my birthday along with my coupon I received via email for being apart of thier rewards member program. Our refills we're on point the food was amazing and one of the little things was while we were indulging in the dessert they brought out complimentary small child ice cream bowls for the kids at the table without us asking... just as an overall experience I'm glad that I had my birthday dinner here, just amazing staff/food! Update:... Hi Y'all!! Just visited here last weekend for my son's birthday. We opted for the Capfire Feasts. They provide such variety and include a shared appetizer, 2 entrées, and a dessert. We chose the wagon wheel sampler (Amazing), the ribeyes (mine was medium rare with the sautéed onions and mushrooms - to die for), and lastly we shares the Cowboy cookie. Hmmmn!! Thanks to Adrian (a manager) and to Chelta for making our time there memorable and for providing great customer service. Yet, here is where I find a discrepancy. From the outside this place is adequately maintained. Looks good but needs a little upkeep - the desert theme needs some freshening up. The inside is where I wish there were brighter colors and more natural light. It is not inviting, nore a place that screams freshness, or "hey, let's have our annual company party here". It's dark and barks, "I'm old and grumpy, you don't like it leave!" I write this because the inside does not reflect the exceptional quality of food nor the exemplary customer service. Tri tip was delicious. The blackberry ginger ale was refreshing and a nice big glass. Service was attentive and friendly and patient. New interior was a great improvement .

It's black Angus the steak won't change your life, but it's edible and you don't have to do dishes after! Service is usually ok. Price has climbed to mid range but I suppose it's still better than sizzler which is similarly priced. But only just barely.

The food in general was very good, the only detail that I did not like was the attention of the staff, they prioritized people who arrived much later and started chatting with them, delaying the orders, my table belonged to several people who also complained about the same thing.

We were dying of how hot it was we ever were sweating lol but food is always amazing 👏

Holy inflation! Menu was recently updated. Prices for most items are similar but all items that were below 20$ have been removed or had a a steep price bump. Still superior to every other steakhouse though

Black Angus in San Bernardino off of Hospitality is a pretty good place to have a Family get together. They have plentybof seating and you can make reservations to make sure there is plenty of room for your party. We had a party of about 30 people and our Waiter/Waitress team was on top of everything considering the size of our party. The food was pretty good even though the kitchen did mess up a few orders but our Servers were quick to correct any issue that came up. We went on a Sunday evening and we pretty much had the place to ourselves which was great. The Manager even came out to make sure that everything was to our satisfaction. Definitely would go back again.

We came and had prime rib dinners and it was tasty. We liked the appetizer plate which was a nice variety of items, the prime rib was good, service was attentive and the carrot cake was good. Overall a good, solid dinner.

I went there for a date night. It wasn't too crowded. All the staff were friendly & helpful. I ordered the tri tip medium well, but it ended up coming rare-medium rare. However, their shrimp was good & their strawberry lemonade was delicious. Their Mac-n-cheese was pretty good too.I would go back, but not for steak.

I recently visited Black Angus Steakhouse in San Bernardino and had a pleasant dining experience. The restaurant wasn’t too busy, so I was seated immediately, which was a great start. I ordered the 16 oz Ribeye Steak cooked medium rare along with a house salad with blue cheese dressing. Both the steak and salad were prepared well; the steak was cooked just to my liking, and the salad was tasty. While the ribeye didn’t particularly stand out, I was satisfied with my meal overall. The wait staff was exceptionally friendly and attentive throughout my visit. A good spot for a reliably good steak dinner.

I went to Black angus tonight primary because of proximity to my hotel and nostalgia. I got the 6oz filet with salad and a baked potato. It came with bread and honey butter. I also got an old fashioned cocktail. The steak was cooked perfectly as I requested. the potato came only with butter as chives as any other topping cost extra. Over all the meal tasted good but was not worth the cost 60$ after tip. I arrived at 7:30 and the restaurant was not crowded- Jessica provided great service.

I went for my birthday and I had an idea of what I wanted and I ask the waiter for a suggestion on my last choice and he recommended the beef soup it was the worst thing I got to the point I took a bite and so did my girlfriend and it was not enjoyable I didn't even eat the rest but other than that everything was good.

This was a pretty decent Steakhouse. There was plenty of room for serving a lot of people. The Filet just a little tough, but had great flavor. The Mashed Potatoes were not hot, but the added bonus was that there were no Skins. The Salad was excellent and the Ranch Dressing was very good. Great Bread as well. The highlight was the Creme Brulee. I would probably go again if I am in the area.

So, this place has changed drastically since the pandemic shutdown, and not in a good way IMO. The decor has shifted from dark and intimate with tall leather booths to a Denny’s or cafeteria feel, but the prices are still high. In their defense most of the food was still high quality, and the Wagon Wheel appetizer was great. I had the filet mignon, which was very good, my husband had the ribeye, but felt it lacked flavor. The dining room was nearly empty, too. Service was good. The bar might’ve been a better option for environment, but the prices will still be high.

Had sirloin, it was tough, I ordered med. rare and got that, my friend ordered med and got well done and it was tough. Also had asparagus half of it was charged thru, same with my friend. I've gotten much better sirloin steak meals at Denny's.

My aunt prime rib was excellent but my sandwich came half soaked so I could fold it so I had to eat it with a fork. The potato came out overcooked. The Mac and cheese was good though.

Black Angus is usually spot on with the state temperatures, but tonight, my steak for whatever reason tasted like liver yuck, I overpaid for a small petite lobster and 5 breaded shrimp because I didn't need the steak, it was awful.. but if you ask my dog , she enjoyed it.

Had to ask waitress after 25 minutes for our drinks. The waitress service was slow. We ordered the 2 for 69.00 off the menu and had her actually explain our options, we get the bill and was charged 40.00 for each dinner. They said it was the prime ruin upgrade , but at no time we were told they're was a upgrade. Also our prime rib was the toughest overcooked prime rib we ever had. Asked for red center ,medium. Rating: 3 stars I’ve always loved Black Angus, and the food here didn’t disappoint. We ordered the Campfire Feast with New York steaks for both of us, and everything we ate was delicious—especially the bread, which I always look forward to. But unfortunately, the service really missed the mark this time. It felt like everything took forever. We joked that maybe they were butchering the cow in the back because that’s how long it took for our food to come out. I initially thought maybe the staff was overwhelmed, but the place wasn’t even busy, and there seemed to be plenty of waiters around. We had to ask for drink refills, ask for bread, and overall, it just felt like we were constantly waiting or needing to flag someone down. It's not the kind of service I’ve come to expect from Black Angus. If the service had matched the quality of the food, this would’ve been a 5-star experience, but unfortunately, it fell short.

It was my first time bringing my mom here, and we ordered the Campfire Feast for two. We absolutely loved the black molasses bread — we ended up having three of them! We used an InKind gift card purchased from Costco at a discount (about 35% off), so it was a great deal. The New York strip steak was delicious and well-seasoned without being too salty. However, my mom ordered the salmon, and the inside was not cooked enough. After asking them to reheat it, it came back overcooked — too hard and too dry. Unfortunately, we would not recommend the salmon.

Server was great and attentive. Food...thinnest Porterhouse I ever saw, order it medium, it was well. I dont think it's possible to have a medium steak with how thin it was. Appetizers, frozen, heated up. Drink was good. Wouldn't come back unless its a work meet up. Then I'd just stick to the steak salad.

Went on Thanksgiving to get their turkey dinner. Had a reservation for 6pm. Place was packed. Didn't have anyone to celebrate with but still wanted turkey. Was waiting to be seated when a manager made an announcement that they were out of turkey. That's the whole reason why I was there! How are you going to run out of turkey on Thanksgiving? I was very upset. Lady next to me said the same thing happened last year. When I was seated they offered prime rib as a replacement. Which normally would be fine but on Thanksgiving i want turkey. Not cool. The table was sticky and greasy. The bussers didn't clean them properly. The waitresses was hard to find whenever i needed her. And it was so warm inside I felt all clammy just sitting at the table. By the time i left i was all sticky. Other than that the food was good. Steak was on point. And the rest of the Thanksgiving meal was as well.

Food was good as always. I brought in my service dog and I guess Jorge doesn’t like dogs. He was just short of being rude. He waited on the table next to mine and he was completely different. I was overly nice but he never asked if I needed a refill on my drink or anything for that matter. I had to ask for every thing I needed. He slammed the steak sauce on the table. His tip reflected his behavior! If you want friendly service—don’t get Jorge or don’t have a service animal

The service amazing and the restaurant is great but the food was below average we got the campfire deal and we got the prime rib and ribs Prime rib was just unseasoned and bland bbq ribs were just not the best I would recommend to not go foods just outdated but the service and everything else was phenomenal

I don't usually write scathing reviews, but this is well deserved. Came here for my birthday tonight and we had terrible service. Our server was nice, but not attentive at all. We had to ask for drink refills and he did not come to our table as frequently as he should have. 2 of our steaks were over cooked and had to be sent back. It took way too long to bring the replacements - our companions finished eating before our food came back. Our to go order was wrong had had to be sent back as well. Overall, poor experience and I have no desire to come back to this location. My advice is to go somewhere else and avoid this restaurant.

Very much sub par for a fairly expensive meal. The place was pretty empty, but it took almost 30 minutes to get seated. It took almost 20 minutes for our waitress to come to us, 20 minutes to get our appetizer, and on and on. We were there almost two hours. Our waitress was very sweet, it seems that she was constantly waiting on the bar and the kitchen, which could not have been swamped... When we got our steaks (filet and sirloin), they were fatty and overcooked (should have been medium but we're definitely medium well or more). The baked potatoes were cold (butter would not melt...) and the green beans were overcooked and limp. The dessert menu was not accurate so the mud pie was not available because their vendor didn't supply it, hmmmm. The creme brulee was flavorless. I rarely give this negative of a review, but this place deserves it.

Eric, the General Manager, is a gem. He went above and beyond to remedy a delivery problem not of his making. He was attentive and thoughtful, and I am grateful.

The quality of my meal was very poor - the appetizer was raw and my steak was not cooked to order. I only ate the dinner salad - the bacon bits and blue cheese dressing were great. Our waitress was nice yet I doubt I'll return.

We've been to other black angus steak houses before and loved it. This one is the worst one we have been to! No seasoning or flavoring at all! The steak is almost grey, flavorless, barely any char. I ordered the "roasted" green beans and I'm pretty damn sure they came from a can, not roasted in anyway shape or form, our 3 cheese bread app and waiter were excellent though. I would not recommend eating here for a good steak.

We had 530 reservations. By 720 our food arrived barely Luke warm. They RUINED our valentines day dinner. They comped the meals but we were hungry and couldn't eat a lukewarm filet mignon. Not cheap. I was pissed because my husband left a huge tip for crappy cold food and terrible service. We'll NEVER go there again.

I walked into the Black Angus due the good reviews for the food, my stomach grumbling with hunger. I found a cozy table and settled in, the front lady tell me to sit anyplace, eager to treat myself to a nice meal. As I waited, I watched the clock tick away. Minutes turned into what felt like an eternity. Fifteen minutes passed, and I hadn’t seen the waitress again—no drinks, no food, nothing. I glanced around the restaurant, noticing that other tables, seemed to be getting their orders filled promptly. Then, to my disbelief, a man walked in, sat down at the table next to me, and within moments, waitress over to take his order. She was all smiles, felt a knot form in my stomach. Was it my imagination, or was she completely ignoring me? I ended up sitting there, feeling invisible and increasingly frustrated. After another few minutes, I decided I couldn’t wait any longer. I stood up and walked out, feeling disappointed and disregarded. I had come to enjoy a meal, but instead, I left feeling overlooked and unappreciated.

Black Angus now charges their consumers a 3% processing fee to use card to pay your bill now. And they wait until you have ordered and eaten your food before telling you about this new fee. I will no longer be dining at this establishment, the consumer shouldn't be paying for the credit card processing fee that the company is being charged. Our poor server sounded so defeated when we asked him about this and the manager gave us some BS excuse about not having clearance from corporate to notify the guest prior to their food consumption. Outback from now on I suppose.

It was clean but the beer was not cold had to ask for ice for my beer. It took for ever to get our food about an hour. The filet mignon that I ordered came out in a weird shape Madame medallion like advertised and was overcooked the replacement. Filet mignon was way better, but by the end the damage was done very disappointing. I may come back and give it one more chance.

It's a steakhouse but I wouldn't get the steak if I ever go again. The place was nice and the service was friendly. I ordered a 12 oz ribeye rare and there was no sear to it at all. Either seems like it was boiled and lines were added or it was thrown on a George foreman grill and zapped all the flavor away. Also it was very rubbery and looked absolutely nothing like the menu or any of the other steaks I've seen on some of the review pics. It's sad too cause for the price it should have been fantastic but it completely fell short of even good.

My family and I have been regulars at this location for years. Our last visit was last night and we were appalled to find out AFTER we got through our meal that a 3% service charge would be added to our bill for using credit/debit cards. No notice posted anywhere, no prior notice from the host before seating. The server looked mortified to inform us of the change and we could obviously tell that it’s been affecting them the most. On our way out we kindly made a suggestion to manager on duty that they should have notices posted or have the hostess advise of said changes prior to seating guests. The manager said she would have to wait for approval from corporate and there is nothing they can do about it. For a company as large as this for them to make the customer eat the cost is ridiculous, last time ever dining with them.

This is the second visit in a row where it was extremely slow service, and over cooked steaks… however this one took the cake …. We were there for THREE HOURS tonight. Mind you, we showed up at 4 pm, not even peak meal times…. It took over 20 minutes for drinks and same for each time we asked for refills, and even longer for cocktails. Granted we did have a fairly large party (8 adults 1 child and 1 baby). Our waitress was training and super sweet, but tell me why it took 9 minutes to run my credit card, and don’t even get me started on the service fee…. The new potstickers were the hit of the meal, but everything else was subpar…. Including one under cooked steak, 1 severely over cooked steak and such slow service that I swear they only have one cook in the kitchen. For the amount you charge for these steaks I did not expect the porterhouse to be paper thin and the other food to be bland. We won’t be returning.

Valentine’s Day disaster at Black Angus Steakhouse. Reservation: 9:15 PM Checked in: 9:30 PM Seated: 9:40 PM And then… absolutely nothing. For 31 straight minutes, not a single employee acknowledged we even existed. No “welcome.” No water. No “I’ll be right with you.” Nothing. Just staff walking past us over and over like we were invisible. Meanwhile, a table that came 5–10 minutes after us was greeted, had their drink orders taken, and was already placing food-bread orders and even refilling their bread while we were still sitting there like ghosts. Finally, at 10:11 PM, someone shows up. No apology. No explanation. No accountability. Just: “What do you want to drink?” As if we hadn’t been sitting there for over half an hour on one of the busiest, most special nights of the year. We walked out. I have eaten at fast food places with better customer awareness and basic human decency than this. If this is how you treat customers on Valentine’s Day, I can’t imagine how bad it is on a normal night. Easily one of the worst dine-in experiences of my life.

Horrible experience. My family and I came here to celebrate my little brother’s 10th birthday, and it was a huge disappointment from start to finish. We waited over 15 minutes for everything we ordered. I understand delays if a place is busy, but our server did not have many tables. On top of the long wait, our food also came out wrong. Earlier in our visit, our server had already sung to a different table, so when we asked if it would be possible for the staff to sing for my brother’s birthday, it didn’t seem like it would be an issue and she agreed. However, when the time came, she ignored our request. She brought out our to-go desserts and the check first, and we had to remind her about the birthday. When she finally returned, she simply placed the cookie on the table and briefly said “happy birthday.” No singing, no effort it was awkward and uncomfortable. To make matters worse, the busser was far more attentive than our server, constantly refilling drinks and checking on us, while our server barely did. Our bill was over $200, and she still received a tip only because my parents chose to leave one. I personally would not have. Our server’s name was Andrea.

Ordered carryout. Paid for porterhouse. Went inside after getting notification that order was ready for pickup. No one was at the front to greet me. Had to wait 5 minutes before the receptionist, after seeing me from across the room, walks in slow motion with zero urgency to the front. After about another minute of watching her walk to me, I was then told they ran out of porterhouse and had to substitute with a 18oz prime rib. So why wasn’t I notified of this sooner? Perplexed, I said ok and ended up waiting another 20 minutes while they prepare the substitution. The manager came and handed me the bag which at that point I looked inside and the steak did not look at all like a prime rib. I asked her if it was and she said yes. Deadass was not but at that point I was so tired from waiting/the incompetence and of course there was no au jus. So I asked her politely if she could grab me some since “prime rib” should come with au jus. She walks slowly as possible to the back as if to spite me even more. I’ve attached a picture of the so called prime rib which is really either a strip or sirloin. Not even close to 18oz. Tasteless food, incompetent service. The bad thing about ordering online is you tip them before you can see how good or bad their service is so they have zero incentive to do better. So basically you’re tipping them in hopes they don’t spit in your food. AI cannot come soon enough to do these jobs. Terrible terrible experience. They do not respect your time or value you as a customer. Not that they even realize that they are doing this perhaps due to lack of EQ. Instead of really looking within themselves, the workers here probably think they are being nice and “providing excellent service” just because they are smiling at you while being completely slow, inconsiderate, unaware and incompetent. I paid almost $50 for this experience, not to mention almost an hour I’ll never get back. And of course the time I’m now spending to write this review. Never again.

The food in general is just not good here and the service is unfortunately very slow. I think the worst part was the chilaquiles. I ordered the chilaquiles with over medium eggs on top. When my food came, the flavor was great but the eggs were over hard and I can see that there was quite a bit of salt caked on to the side of my plate and the chilaquiles themselves were very salty. I politely requested a new batch and shortly after they brought out the same chilaquiles and new eggs. I can tell this was the same batch because they were cold and the salt was still caked onto the same side of the plate. 😂 Please keep in mind that there was hardly anyone inside the restaurant and I couldn't believe they had the nerve to just bring back the same plate. We ended up leaving early. Best to take your business elsewhere.
