Found this place randomly being that it's far from where I live. Great food (a bit pricey but these days, everything costs more), very friendly and helpful staff (met Heidi the owner and had some good conversation) and comfortable atmosphere. Be aware of their hours. 4 days a week, they're closed from 1500 to 1700 to transition from breakfast to dinner menu. The dinner menu is all Korean. Can't wait to come back again and try the dinner menu. They have both inside and outside seating. Parking is tricky, so find a spot on the street. Overall, I'm very happy with our experience here.

A good array of food, a nice atmosphere. The place is a house built to be a small restaurant/Cafe. Service was great, and fast. Ordering was quick and easy. The food was well seasoned and plentiful.

Visited Cafe Jane on a Tuesday around noonish. There was ample seating available and the wait time for our food to come out was very minimal. The americano was deliciously bold and my mom was delighted by their mocha. We shared two entrees: the breakfast sandwich and the orange french toast. The breakfast sandwich had really fluffy soft scrambled eggs and the brioche was a nice bite. The French toast was OuT oF tHIs WoRLd! - loads of citrus and balanced with the subtle sweetness of fried bananas. Will be back to try their rice bowls. Overall score: 💣/💣.

Nice staff, decent food. The location is really nice, vwry homey and quaint. It looks small and makes you feel that you won't find seating. But surprisingly, my crew and I always find seating. The crowd is also super laid back. Their latte is not bad at all, definitely 2 steps or more above the espresso chain houses. I almost always get either the eggs benedict or orange french toast. Both are good. The orange good is particularly good as a after-brunch snack.

Unreal service and incredible food and drinks. I don't think a trip to Pasadena would be complete without going to Jane's.

Absolutely lovely place for breakfast, lunch, dinner, coffee, and now wine and beer. Extensive menu options, a great mix of Western and Korean dishes. Kind and welcoming owners. My favorite restaurant in Highland Park and one of the best places to eat in LA.

The food was amazing! I came here with my parents and dogs, we were able to sit in the patio with our two golden retriever’s in the shade. They also have seating indoors which is very cozy. My parents loved the breakfast and I really enjoyed my mint lemonade. We ordered an Americano, coffee, mint lemonade, a muffin, almond danish, bibimbap(+egg), chilaquiles, 2x2x2, and a side of sweet potato fries which came out to a total of about $~$110 including tip. I will definitely be coming back here to try all the other delicious items on the menu!

Personally, I’m a fan of their Brioche French Toast and Eggs Benedict. Always cooked to perfection, and served with elegance! The homefries are perfectly crispy and flavorful as well. I’m honestly not a huge fan of their iced coffee (it’s artisan and on the bitter side), but they have a variety of selections and flavors that appeal to everyone. Dog friendly patio!

Delicious and fresh. This is a charming little spot. I found easy street parking. The service was very quick. I very much enjoyed the home fried potatoes, bacon, avocado and fresh fruit plate I had for breakfast. The portions are generous and the coffee was delicious. Highly recommend.

I was also happy that we were able to order two stacks of pancakes from the side menu so that we could enjoy those too (delicious too btw, definitely wanna try their banana one next time)!

So good! Staff is as sweet as the French toast. But, really, this French toast is superb. Not sure how they make it taste so good but will definitely be coming here again just for the French toast. The kimchi fried rice was great but the fried egg on top made it even better (forgot to take a pic sorry). The Jane's omelette was simple but so delicious. The huevos rancheros were so good and had some spice but adding Tapatio with it made it even better. Jane is just plain Jane good.

Cafe Jane is always my go to! We finally tried the Korean menu! It did not disappoint! We had Ssam Bap with Tofu, Lettuce & Perilla Cups, Sweet N Spicy Sticky Party Wings and Lil' Kimbap With Spicy Mustard! It was all so delicious but those wings were tasty, so crispy and spicy! All the pickles were paired perfectly!

We were needing a place for brunch before going bowling and my daughter chose Jane for its location and also because they serve eggs benedict, which is my favorite. When we pulled up in front of the yellow house, we weren't sure it was an actual restaurant because there was no signage visible from the front of the house but we could see diners sitting in the front patio. The inside of Jane is open and airy. You go up to the counter and place your order and pay for it at that time. They then give you a number and you choose a seat either inside or outside. They also have a back patio for seating. Our breakfast was ready in a very short time and brought to our table by one of the employees. I had a cappuccino and of course the eggs benedict. My daughter ordered a fruit bowl and my husband had french toast piled high with strawberries and bananas. My eggs benedict were delicious and had the addition of spinach under the egg for some added vitamins. It was truly delicious and we really enjoyed our breakfast there. I would highly recommend Jane to anyone looking for a lovely setting for delicious food.

We went inside to order and were greeted by the sweetest barista working the bar.☕️ I think their name was mikayla? They greeted us with a pleasant smile as they asked us what we would like to order. 😃 I ended up ordering the eggs Benedict. 🍳 My partner got the omelette and my friend ordered the breakfast burrito. 🌯 The eggs Benedict was so delicious I was literally scraping the plate to get the rest of the hollandaise sauce off my plate let me tell you. 🍽️ 😛 Not only is the food out of this world the coffee was so fantastic! I had to go back up to the bar and compliment Mikayla again on how delicious our drinks were. It’s hard to find good coffee these days, but not when you go to Cafe Jane. Perfect 10 will be going back again very soon!

The dressing was super light but had just the right amount of flavor to compliment the salad. My friend ordered the breakfast sandwich and a latte w oat milk and both were satisfying for her. We eat Korean daily since my wife’s from Korea. The quality is good. Surprisingly fresh for fast serving cafe food. Quality ingredients in each bite. Good Ban Chan. Great atmosphere. Nice place to hang. Would highly recommend this place for legit home-style K-food. Spicy Pork. Dolsot Bibimbap served in a Hot Skillet. One of the best Karaage I’ve had (we lived in Japan for 10yrs). A great find in Highland Park, so we were pleasantly surprised. Would highly recco this to everyone.

They offer free water for all customers and there is the cutest patio in the front to eat with tables and chairs. I’ve noticed they are also dog friendly and are allowed in the patio. A pretty, little place. Good music inside. Wish I sat outside in their cute patio. My salad was nice and light and Veggie Medley Sandwich was nicely cooked. If prefer no plastic cups too. The cashier that took our orders should've made sure there's no onions in the huevos rancheros dish when requested though.

The food and coffee were AMAZING! I got the tofu tacos and my fiancé got the mushroom omelette. Everything was so flavorful and the dining area felt like someone's cozy home. I loved it!

Cafe Jane is always my go to! We finally tried the Korean menu! It did not disappoint! Jane’s Orange French toast is by far one of the best French toasts I’ve ever had. I’ve found my go to place if I’m ever craving French toast! I came here on a Sunday around 11am and luckily beat the lunch rush! Around 11:30-12 is when it starts getting busy so keep that in mind if you want to avoid the wait.

Small hipster cafe that has nice music as well as tasty food that fills you right up. I ordered the french toast dish and it was perfect. The reason for 4 stars was there were some flies inside (they leave their door open) and i would have to swat them away from me every once in a while.

This place is awesome ,its original,cozy ,fun to be in ,whoever designed this place did it right , they have a coffe variety ,breakfast deserts,kids frienfly it looks lije the employees like working here and everybody knows when the employee is happy work gets done exeptional ,liked the vives and the restaurant style and those egg benedict are famous ;) Keep up the good work...your friendly neighboor .the extra *is for being original

Cozy place. I ordered Jane's hamburger. It was not at amazing as I expected. It was just ok. We also ordered the fence toast. That's actually was pretty good. Coffee it's also good. Price is little bit high but ok it's ok for the area.

Quiet neighbourhood yet it is beside the main street. Food and staffs were great. We had the Jane omelette and it was fantastic . I especially like the onion n chives they used on the fried potatoes. Kim chi fried rice was highly recommended by others but we felt it was just okay.

Super cute! They have delicious food and a variety of options from healthy to indulgent. I have tried their breakfast items like french toast and eggs, Kim chi fried rice, Ssam bab (rice bowl), chicken salad wrap etc... as well as their drinks mint lemonade and iced latte. Everything is excellent and great quality. Love their vibe. It’s a quaint home feel, with both indoor and outdoor seating. You order at the counter and they’ll bring your meal to you. Nice friendly service. Parking can be limited due to its location, but not too difficult during the few times I went. Average price point as well, not too shabby! It’s never been too crowded either. Great place!

Had a delicious family breakfast. Had the 2x2x2, Walnut Banana Pancakes and Jane's Omelette with Mocha's, Latte's and hot chocolate. The food was delicious, the staff was quiet and reserved. I wish they would have been more friendly.

Oh JANE, why you're so good👍. JANE, is a small laid back breakfast house cafe on York blvd that opens from 8 am - 3 pm. Their food is palatable to one's taste buds; it reminds you of that home made breakfast. My favorite breakfast meals are 2x2x2 pancakes and orange french toast. Cafe taste really good with or without out sugar/leche. The staff are amiable, competent, courteous and provides fast service. JANE's house cafe interior and exterior dining area is relatively small w/ a max capacity of ~45 and ~30 people, respectively. Inside, they have a long varnished maple/oak wood center table which enables customers to converse while waiting for food. Outside, they have multiple small tables. The atmosphere is good. Prices are relatively on par $$ with other similar establishments in Highland Park. As a HP resident, I highly recommend JANE house cafe.
