I stopped at Camino Corner Restaurant on my way to the airport, and it was such an awesome experience. The staff noticed it was my birthday and surprised me with birthday pancakes, which was incredibly thoughtful and made my whole morning. The food was absolutely delicious. The corned beef hash was perfectly crispy, and the hash browns were crispy just right, exactly how they should be. You can tell they really care about both the food and their customers. If you’re passing through, this place is definitely worth the stop. Great food, great service, and wonderful people. I’ll be back for sure.

Randomly walked in here and glad that we did. We were seated quickly and the place was clean. The server was very friendly. We ordered chicken and waffles to share and a kids meal which they split on two plates for us to share without even having to ask. So definitely a kid friendly place. The food was very flavorful and fresh. Definitely would recommend this place to try.

I’m always on the hunt for a great breakfast spot while traveling and Camino Corner did not disappoint! The space is clean and welcoming. I really liked the dividers between tables inside. Our server was very pleasant and the service was quick. All of the food we ordered was delicious. My only suggestion would be some seasoning on the hash browns, but other than that, we were all thrilled with our food. Highly recommend this small diner!

I haven't been here in a long while. It's good to know this place is still around.  Upon entering, the place like like it's had a remodel, but the layout is still the same.  You get a more homey and comforting kind of vibe.  The place was pretty busy for early Sunday morning. I was greeted and helped right away by the only lady helping everyone.  She was so happy and very attentive. We ordered: 1.  Breakfast sandwich with bacon, sausage, and ham -   This was amazing.  The bread was nice and crunchy.   It didn't fall apart or get all soggy. Each bite was delicious 2.  Country #2 (mini sampler)- 4 pancakes, 2 bacon, 2 sausage, ham steak, and 3 eggs.  This was enough to feed a family, lol.   Can't go wrong with this.   Definitely enough to feed at least 2 people. 3.  Crispy pork belly and egg over garlic rice - To be honest, I was skeptical, but it was amazing.  The pork was meaty, not all fat like at some places.  Skin was crunchy.   It was a perfect balance that just kept you wanting to eat more. I highly recommend this place and can't wait to come back.

We were looking for a quick brunch place that didn't have a long line. There's also a tiny lot in front for some parking. This place was pretty crowded, but luckily a table was leaving as we got there. It started to get super crowded while we there. The menu was simple, with lots of the basic brunch options, which was perf for us. We ordered the California benedict, waffle egg and sausage combo, and Louisiana omelette. The waffle isn't like the normal fluffy one so my friend was a bit disappointed, but we thought it still tasted good. The benedicts were cooked perfect, nice and runny. The omelette looked a bit small, but was still really good. It came with a bunch of delicious diced potatoes too. This place is great for a quick and convenient breakfast/lunch. I would love to try their other specials. This place can get crowded, but it seems they work through quickly.

This is the breakfast that I miss... Everything is cooked deliciously. Is it clean modern style American restaurant. My favorites were the fresh fruit on a fresh waffle.

Standard diner menu with an Asian flair (or maybe it's specifically Filipino). So if you want pancakes and white rice or bacon and pork belly, this is the place for you. Parking is a thing and getting and out of the parking lot is also a thing, but again, if you want diner + a bowl of white rice (looking at you parents with finicky eaters), make a beeline to this place. Hash browns were solid, omelette topped with slices of American were ok, coffee was meh or below, and service was friendly and great. But again, they had white rice so everyone got something they liked.

1st time in the San Francisco area, the family was jet-lagged. Snuck away to go eat breakfast while letting my family sleep. Look this place up, just around the corner from where we're staying. Quiet, peaceful spot. Everyone was minding their own business, the talkative people sat outside eating their breakfast under this canopy with tables. The Camino breakfast omelette was off the chain!! I should have asked how big it was, since this is California and I'm from Texas. (Everything is bigger in Texas🤣) so I ordered a waffle with bananas just in case the omelette was too small. Now I'm stuffed, I could only eat a 1/4 of the waffle, that omelette was huge, stuffed with the description it says. I definitely recommend the breakfast here, the parking well let's just say to get there early.

Typical greasy-spoon, Americana diner fare, but also plenty of menu items for more varied palates -- shrimp with green onions, options with garlic rice, etc. The staff are ridiculously attentive AND accommodating, spun up the heat lamps and served us on patio seating despite the rain, etc. I will bring fam back here when we need something-for-everyone and still want to buy local. They DID include an 18% gratuity by default on our order, with options to add higher, but if you are trying to avoid tipping by default in one of the most expensive markets in the planet, you're already avoiding local dine-in. I'm glad this place is taking precautions for their humans.

Transitions. I was here for the very 1st time on Labor day. Obvious the place was recently renovated. Fresh paint, countertops, flooring. Labor day: ordered the Country combo #3 & combo teriyaki. Not greasy nor salty. The teriyaki dish wasn't gloppy nor swimming in sauce. The beef was in smaller minced size than expected but appreciated, the chicken in large slices & the shrimp was bite sized. Fresh carrots & broccoli + steamed rice. Beautifully done. // By the following Sunday - the plates (dishware) & menus changed! Ordered the country combo #3 & south sea shrimp teriyaki. The shrimp portion seem smaller but perhaps an optical illusion with the new plate. Like last time, the shrimp itself was delicate with a perfect snap. The shrimp was scrambled with eggs & scallions. Somehow I thought the shrimp would be cooked separately. Nonetheless change is good!

Larry and I are here today for breakfast. Sorry I didn't take pictures to share...I was too hungry! You can never go wrong eating good food. It's a busy little spot but the service is excellent and so is the meal! Lots to select from and oh so good! Do yourself a favor and drop in to eat. They also serve lunch and their hours are 7am - 2:30pm. The prices are reasonable. Gotta love it ❤️

I compare all breakfast places versus average New Jersey diners so hard to get a 5 star rating from me. Jersey diners are incredible for the most part. With that said, I ordered the country fried steak and eggs. Very good overall. Coffee hot and good and my cup stayed filled! Staff incredible and service awesome! Clean restaurant. Good job, Camino Corner….ill be back!

I had to write a review because the food was just that good! I’m currently staying at the Villa Montez Hotel, which is such a gem. This morning, I woke up late and hungry, craving some brunch. I decided to call El Camino Corner after browsing their menus online and ordered the grilled chicken breasts with two eggs over easy, hash browns, and a side of strawberries. When I arrived, the waitress immediately knew who I was, which was such a sweet touch. She asked, “Are you Isabel?” and when I said yes, she told me my food was about ready and asked if I would like anything to drink. She then opened the order in front of me to make sure everything was correct before closing it back up. She was super friendly, made pleasant conversation, ensured I had all the utensils I needed, and asked if I wanted any sauces and gave me hot sauce packets. I also made sure to thank the cook because the food looked and smelled amazing! Once I got back to the hotel and started eating, I was impressed. The hash browns were crispy on the outside and soft, almost like mashed potatoes, on the inside—absolutely delicious! The grilled chicken was cooked to perfection and had so much flavor, and the eggs over easy were done just right, with the yolks perfectly intact, running beautifully over the hash browns. Adding some Tapatio hot sauce made it even better, and the fresh strawberries and water tied the meal together perfectly. This was, without a doubt, one of the tastiest brunches I’ve ever had. I was more than satisfied and had to give El Camino Corner a well-deserved five-star rating.

Small Modern interior Diner, has outdoor seating with a gazebo. Very friendly staffing and quick service, a casual place to eat and did not feel rushed. I ordered a waffle with all of its add ons: strawberries, blueberries, bananas, chocolate and also whipped cream. The waffle size was bigger than I expected and a mound of whipped cream and toppings. Very tasty and well made, but not worth the cost of 17$ after tax. Each add on is 1$ -1.50$ most dishes here range from 10-15$ without anything extra which is cheap. In my opinion I believe there should be a combo for a waffle with these add ons included for much cheaper. There is a waffle special with includes a waffle, eggs and sausage but still would have to add on extra if you wanted the fruits. I would visit here again but probably not add on as much extras as I did today. Its a very small parking lot which is for other business also, but there is also plenty of street parking.

This was my first time here. It is a cute little spot for a traditional American breakfas/lunch with some Asian dishes. I love that the menu is simple to read. It has a nice comfort feel to it. Servers were nice and attentive. Overall it was reasonably priced and good food. We plan to return to try out the rest of the menu.

El Camino Corner, I'm sure a regular at this place will rave about how great it is. And for the most part it is a nice friendly warm establishment. You have a big open kitchen, where you can see the cooks preparing all the orders, nice big TV's for the TV lovers and a friendly hostess/waitress greeting you as you walk in. They also have nice big windows with a view of El Camino. However the food was mediocre, I ordered the Chorizo scramble with garlic rice and a side order of hot links. This dish also came with a side order of toast. The Chorizo scramble was very boring even with the mushrooms and spinach added on to it, It was very bland. As for the garlic rice, I know garlic rice is supposed to taste like garlic but my goodness they went super heavy handed with the garlic and it had a microwave feel to it. The Buttermilk pancake was ok it was not a fluffy as I like it, they also sprinkle it with powdered sugar. Staff is friendly and there is a very small parking lot that is shared with a Dry cleaners but there is plenty parking on the street. (Just be careful for street cleaning) price is average and if you do check in with YELP you get a free pancake.

The only positive thing is how welcoming and warm the staff are. Otherwise, this restaurant is located next to a dry cleaning store, and I don’t know if that’s the reason their coffee smells and tastes like laundry detergent or not! I had to ask to change my coffee and it still tasted weird, so it was not the cup they used. There were egg shells in my eggs benedict, and the hash brown wasn’t crispy and tasty enough.

I got the chicken and waffles and was extremely disappointed. They gave me chicken thighs mixed with buffalo wings and it was clearly not not what I ordered. Over cooked, dry, tasteless and only battered on one side. I will not be coming back I hope they can step up and at least serve what they post on the menu if i would of gotten 1 decent piece of chicken It would be OK but $24 later I left with 3 pcs of canalope.
